Stadium Bids

Estadio d'Onor
Bidding to be the Champions' Cup's final site

Estadio d'Onor is home to farf team Tympú AC, one of the best teams through-out Farfadillis. The stadium is gigantic, an all-seater with 100,000 as capacity. However, that's not the stadium's biggest treat. It's also the safest stadium, considering there's no crime in the border between Induja and Ferdullaele (farf states), where it's located. It's extremely comfortable to anyone who assists to a match there. It's got the biggest car park in Farfadillis, with up to 20,000 cars being able to fit there. This allows for many people to arrive by car or taxi. For those who can't assist by car, there's also public transport, which is cheap, and that will leave you just two blocks away.

La Gran Avenida
Bidding to be the Globe Cup's final site

This stadium seats up to 40,000 people, is safe and comfortable and is situated in a really hot farf state (where temperatures always range from 22ºC to 34ºC). All that is good, however, it's biggest advantage is that it's situated in the middle of a forest. El Gran Bosque is a forest in Puerto Farolero, where a big stadium like this has been built to attract tourists. The view from the highest seats is something impressive. Please, ignore how dangerous the path there is, and how long it takes to arrive there, considering going by car is banned. However, if you don't get stung by a flying jellyfish, you should be alright. You could still die of dehydration, though.

Jardin Norte
Bidding to be the Series B Champions' Cup's final site

Home to Ferdullaele FC, team which surprisingly resides in Ferdullaele and is known for its continuous national thrashings coupled with its continuous international fails. The stadium can seat up to 60,000 and provides with world-class service to everyone. However, there's no regulation on what you can bring to the match, that meaning hooligans are somewhat common. There's lot of police, although. Shootings aren't hard to see, however, there haven't been any casualties yet. Let's cross our fingers that there won't in the future, either.

The TFA congratulates these eight towers on qualifying for UICA competitions and notes that in the event of another heavy snowstorm in Thaulandi, home matches may be played in the stadium of the away team, if the away team pays enough. Otherwise, a neutral stadium in Ko-oren will be the venue for a match.

In case there is no snow storm or other problem, if a team/nation/venue pays enough, our teams will play there.

19th Century Beards football league, season 4

Another season of 19th Century Beards football has come to an end. After some hard work in the off-season, funded by the government, each club now has it's own stadium, with capacity ranging from 2,000 to 12,000, more than double the population of 4,500.

The Premier League culminated in the Ministry of Finance staving off a challenge from Caws Lane to lift the trophy for the second time in two years. Rushton Capitals finished in the Globe Cup spots again, but couldn't mount a title challenge this time around. Fourth, and the final Globe Cup spot, had to be settled by a two-legged playoff between Police Service and Rushton Road, who both finished equal on all differentiating criteria. The tie finished 3-3 on aggregate, so had to go to a penalty shootout, which ended 3-4 in Rushton Road's favour. Sneezum Lane finished only one point behind in sixth, while Rushton Juniors, Ministry of Sport, Kingsway Lane and Ribble Street took 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. Out of Capital Towns finished 11th, while Rushton Nature Reserve United took the wooden spoon once again.

The Beards cup was won by Rushton Capitals, who had to beat Rushton Juniors, Out of Capital Towns and Rushton Nature Reserve United on the way to the final. Their opponents, Rushton Road, who beat Ministry of Sport and Kingsway Lane to get there, lost to an added time penalty. The Super Cup was won by the Ministry of Finance, beating Rushton Capitals 2-0.

I know it may sound ridiculous, but it can prepare you for a distant future when Val Kylx has to retire. It can also help you write a creative RP.

Scrap that, Birolika's idea is awesome.

That might be the first time one of my ideas hasn't been met with the response, "Fine, but where are you going to get all those yaks from?"

Year 2024 FAS Season

Last season was another season of firsts. Pays de Croix won their first ever Premier League title in a landslide. This year, will they do enough to warrant Tito Moreno resigning, as he is in the last year of his contract? Maystead won their first ever FAS Cup, continuing the trend, but with so many players retiring, will this new batch of young recruits bring the Poppies back to the promised land? The Riverside Dolphins have had a rough and tumble past fives seasons, transitioning between the Premier League and League 1 three times. They are the odds-on favorites to win promotion back in to the top flight league, but fans are left wondering will this trend be the new norm.

The Charity Shield this year is back to having a multitude of sponsors that the teams will play for. Not only will the teams be playing for their respective charities, but all proceeds from the game will be split between the Saugeais Wildfire Prevention Fund and the Saugeais Armed Forces. Pays de Croix will be playing to support the regional Pays de Croix Archdiocese. Maystead will be playing for the Pediatric Leukemia Reseach Institute.

Pays de Croix finish off a spectacular season, winning every piece of silver there is to win in Saugeais. Opening the season with a dominant Charity Shield victory when it wasn't needed was a sign of things to come. Tito Moreno continued his legacy at Pays de Croix by re-writing the record books once again, scoring 34 goals (previous record - 32) to aide PDC's record goal scoring total of 85 on the season. And while the Saints had a couple of stumbling blocks in the FAS Cup, in the end they survived a 5-4 thriller to hoist the Cup for the second time in three years. While being officially labeled a "double", it doesn't hide the fact that Pays de Croix has established themselves as the new standard of excellence within the Saugeain football community.

The ABPD is the top tier of Cyborg Dutch football, it is contested by 16 sides from April to October, however, due to the reformation of the CHFA, the CyborgSport Group was chosen to oversee the league, everything reamined the same, but with the annoumcement of two new teams next year, increasing the number to 18. These two teams have been announced as Brullik FC and VVV Amzterdam. The current champions are the Eidnhoven Tigers. There is a three team promotion-demotion swap between the ABPD and NatEc Div1. This year the Hague Capitol Wolves won the NatEc Div1 trophy, the Nijmeigan Eagles coming second and Maastricht Vipers won the play-offs, after coming 3rd.

The Year of Six Derbies

Postby Earent » Mon Nov 12, 2012 9:03 am

Somewhat less chaotic then last season, the changing leaderboard!

Matchday One: Ungalb Devsgrybe

Hmm, maybe without the glories of the CC group stage to distract them, they can buckle down and focus on the domestic game? They had an easy start against newcomers Brynag GU, who more than matched Devsgrybe's attacking enthusiasm...but couldn't offer much in the way of goalscoring. Ile Maxik scored the first two for Devsgrybe before Soypuv Kernee recorded Avkina's first goal of the top flight. It was back to Devsgrybe after that, with Tearim Hayz and Mulis Vonder finishing the rout.

Matchday Two: Brantslaybel TU

Hmm, maybe Devsgrybe aren't that great. They were held to a draw by a much-less-skillful Ungalb, namely Tratbongent. And they really were tied most of the way through, since Maxik and Meltee Nusint's goals came only three minutes apart early in the second half.

Brantslaybel then blanked Ronthand TU, away in Bloyben. After Kyin Voz' early header, Savit Neals scored to close out the second half, and Voz wrong-footed another one in in the second half. Now try scoring with your right foot, eh? Well, your left foot, but you know what I mean.

Matchday Four: Ousteeble TU

The parity in this league gets absurd sometimes; that, and Avkina are quite resilient. They spun a trap for Brantslaybel today, letting Ipaka Huve score from the midfield early on, and then came to life. Pendel Mear equalized off a pass from Ryn Artin, and then Daysin Vuse gave Brynag the win. They're sixth. Good grief.

And Brantslaybel are not first, and Ousteeble (remember them?) are. That their defense was holding up against Stirvik TU was no surprise, that their offense was so good perhaps somewhat strange but then Stirvik aren't good. ("Yet," says Reaven Laynee. But she says a lot of things.) Neahat Layn, Paita Rinth, and Sufee Long (a very surprised defender) all scored in the first half, before Layn tacked on another in the second and both teams spent the rest of the game hanging out on defense.

Matchday Five: Attereg GU

Attereg?! Manager Dagin Hender's confidence in top-flight potential is coming true and then some. They doubled their scoring totals for the season to date by putting three past Perntav Marna TU. Aging Kayra Barten still proved he's a threat by scoring on an assist from nidjfoge Ipe Hengel, then Tash Mylee passed to him for another. The second half saw Huste Leal add another, brilliantly dribbling past a slow Stob Heayander.

Ousteeble lost to Stivarnel, and probably shouldn't have; Long duly bumbled in an own goal, and then a Laynin Brathis foul left Myr Fasint free to deposit a penalty. But, three points is three points. Or, you know. Zero points are zero points.

Matchday Nine: Ungalb Devsgrybe

First repeaters, whoo. Attereg were defeated by Nithgard, who are lurking in fifth and threaten to stay on target for a Globe Cup place (remember, top five qualify now).

They're also threatening to fall back into sixth, because, you know, Kaynd.

Anyway! They defeated Attereg, with Ruva Klyg backtracking to set up Padig Mune for an early goal from the midfield, then scoring herself after an awkward pass from the quiet Nuyee Beal. Attereg would pull one back through Jef Morayn, but it wasn't enough.

This left things open for a clash of the not-so-titans, as Ousteeble were eleventh going in and are fourteenth now, after losing to Devsgrybe. The latter's attack bested the former's defense, with Ile Nayn scoring the first and last goals of the match. In between came a Vonder goal and Layn scoring for Ousteeble.

Matchday Ten: Rogglebo TU

Oh...kay. Rogglebo are a defensive side, and they posted a shutout! The other teams involved in the lead-changing games...didn't. Very much didn't.

Let's start with Retatyn TU, then, as they're the ones who you don't hear much of when it comes to leaderboard business. Their defense was...actually half-decent for ninety minutes. In the sense of they only gave up three to Devsgrybe. Maybe less than half. But whatever, Stevin Hasper, Vonder, and Nayn all scored over the course of an hour and a half.

Devsgrybe were not too pleased with themselves, however, as they were letting Dyma Konga run all over them. Shayv Allagondee scored the opening goal of the match, and after Hasper's equalizer, Astel Maykor and Allagondee actually gave Retatyn a 3-1 lead. That collapsed, though Dethis Kean would eventually score for them.

And then Hasper totally scored again in injury time. Ninety minutes, so what? Even we get drama now and then.

Okay, but Rogglebo. They were visiting Ronthand, and Ronthand are not that good. As was made clear by Taspiv Drand's quick pair of goals. Then, Fef Rose scored at an awkward angle, almost backwards, and seemed to be limping for a while afterwards. Not that it mattered for Rogglebo, who played like they needed far fewer than eleven players. Joundra Hylee would score a penalty after Tanch Laygel's foul on Drand, and then Mastel Heas scored again for Rogglebo. 5-0. No big deal.

Matchday Eleven: Ungalb Devsgrybe

Okay, for the first time all season the defending champions do something of note? They're seventh.

The king's house were no slouches themselves, dominating the match against Rogglebo but hitting woodwork on almost every occasion after Hylee gave Rogglebo the lead. That Luse Muree was eventually able to score says more about Perntav Marna's relentlessness than anything else.

And Deahpild succumbed to Devsgrybe in an ill-tempered match that saw the lead jerk back and forth. Devsgrybe grabbed it through Hayz, but then Deahpild equalized through Tash Kume, who probably shouldn't even have been in the game after fouling Teaden Amsee, but too late. Tubin Mandel would give Deahpild the lead, but Devsgrybe struck back through Maxik. Then they really struck back and Hayz got ejected. Kume took the free kick...and did little, to the delight of the visiting fans. Further to their delight, Vonder scored the winning goal, at which point the host fans really took it out on their visitors. There was actually time for a comeback (considering how long Devsgrybe take things), but Deahpild were not up to the task, and instead the proud new leaders had to sneak out in the dark.

Matchday Thirteen: Atteregav Numa

Denied on goal difference last season, the sons and sundry daughters of Attereg saved their first push for a showdown with the leaders. They then literally saved a bunch of shots, Sharnis Aylkee standing tall (well, not really, but you know) in goal, before midfielder Dargor Helmee was able to sneak forward and score the only goal.

Numa are the only team yet to concede double-digits; in seventeenth place, Ungalb Tratbongent are the only side whose goalscoring tally has yet to climb that high. Devsgrybe have still scored the most, while the worst defense belongs to Dyma Konga, whose negative goal differential hasn't kept them from a respectable sixth.

Yes, folks, it's time for a fast forward, because Numa are actually decent!

Matchday Twenty-eight: Rogglebo TU

As shouldn't be a surprise when your top two are Rogglebo and Numa, it was a pair of one-goal games that decided this result. Rogglebo got theirs by beating Perntav Marna, Dandra Artin the scorer in the fifteenth minute. Rogglebo were tentative thereafter, at least for the first half, and Perntav Marna looked very sloppy in the second half. Rogglebo TU might yet regret not pushing for more; as it is, they only lead on goal difference.

And Attereg Numa, after leading for this long, were held up by Stivarnel GU. Drenda Munge recorded the only goal, in the sixty-eighth minute. It's aggravating Numa, surely, to trail on goal difference--and all the more aggravating for Stivarnel, who trail survival by goal difference.

They have the advantage of knowing that crosstown rivals Ronthand are dead last, so even if they return to the second division, it might be a "taking you with me" moment. Sandwiched in between them is little Kolpuung GU...and barely clinging on for fifteenth are their crosstown rivals, Stroyfungul GU of crazy nidjing infame.

Nothing like a derby rivalry.

Matchday Thirty: Atteregav Numa

Well, that was anticlimactic. Sort of. Depends on how you feel about goals.

Remember Ungalb Tratbongent? Them of the low-scoring infame? They totally still have the worst offense in the league. And they totally still improved upon it by defeating Rogglebo, Randel Harsith's shot curling into the high corner. Then they sat back and defended while their fans complained about something silly. Probably having the worst offense in the league when they are jointly the most defensive team in the league. Anyhow, it paid off, sort of, Rogglebo trail.

Atteregav Numa, you'll note if you do the subtracting-seventeen trick, played Ungalb Devsgrybe. Again. And...not a lot happened. They were more in the preventing than saving shots business, Devsgrybe looked wary but couldn't come together. They have to be looking for at best a Globe Cup spot now.

And then, ninety minutes (well, plus, you should have been nervous now with Devsgrybe) later, there was still no score, and Numa led by a point. Which...they led on matchday thirty-two last time, so...they shouldn't have gotten comfortable.

They didn't. After defeating Dyma Konga and Deahpild, they lost their penultimate match to Brantslaybel. But it didn't matter; their nearest challengers were held by Deahpild, which meant Numa clinched in spite of also losing their final game, away in Ousteeble.

Those challengers were none other than...Attereg's other club! Yes, Dagin Hender has silenced the doubters and proven himself a worthy successor to Tykel Marsinee. A Champions' Cup spot is a worthy reward for this season's sudden improvement.

Oh, and speaking of derby rivalries, Kolpuung clawed their way up to fifteenth. Or, one rank behine an exhausted Stroyf who are just glad it wasn't worse. Well, maybe not "just." They've got all kinds of emotions over there...it's a crazy place.

And, in the final derby of this season, Stivarnel will follow Ronthand to the second division. Brayntel are also going down, and the pretentious bandwagon hoppers can shove it.

Which, speaking of, promoted:

Hulbindan TU are from the small town of Hulbindan. The team takes a somewhat defensive approach, the board takes an extremely thrifty approach, and the fans are pinching themselves that they're here at all. Expect extremely loud, and extremely drunk, travelling support.

Munnerput TU: delusions of grandeur are go. Tell you what, they might actually live up to manager Tov Posint's boast of leading the league in scoring. That's not saying much.

Paysban TU: won't lead the league in scoring. Could, unless they tie for fifteenth out of luck again, go straight back down.

Good afternoon! Welcome to all those fans of Acquan football who will be following this live text charting the finale of this season's Campiocinato, and what a tournament it's been! My name is Jon Skaerbaek and once again I'll be with you all afternoon.

1453
Matches are about to start all across Ossidiacqua now as I'm sure you are all aware, which just gives us enough time to look at the table as it stands going into today's fixtures...

20 Berenice-Fedora 37 5 15 17 30 52 -22 30

1455
As you can see, it's all incredibly close both at the top and at the bottom. Mineros di Collindiana and Berenice-Fedora are both guaranteed to go down, and only a very unlikely turnaround in goal difference can save Sommieres Hibernia now. However, Estudiantes are currently sitting in that last relegation spot, and Clube Esporte de Penthesilea are sitting on the same 41 points. With RC de Malleroa, Atletico Sant'Elia, and Ossidianense CF all sitting within striking distance of the relegation zone, there is still all to play for. At the top, CA Conquistadores have secured the last Globe Cup spot, but just one point thrillingly separates the top three sides. Qolo-Qolo sit in command looking to retain their title, but Caballeros CF and Condensadores CD are both just a single point behind the league leaders, so anything could happen.

1459
The teams are out all the way up and down the country, so let's just take a quick look at the fixtures being played today...
RC de Mallerosa vs CA Conquistadores
AS Clube Toros vs Qolo-Qolo
Mineros di Collindiana FC vs Internazionale
Berenice-Fedora vs Atletico Sant'Elia
Estudiantes CRF vs Condensadores CD
Olimpico Oasi SS vs AS Débardeurs Nationale
Clube Cobreloa vs SS Clube Vortice
Clube Esporte de Penthesilea vs CD Parquisteres
FC Sommieres Hibernia vs Caballeros CF
Ossidianense CF vs Académica di Terrabianco

1500
We're off!

1501 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 0-1 CA Conquistadores (Alessandro Delvecchio, 1 min)
Well, that didn't take long, did it? Alessandro Delvecchio gets us off to a great start in today's proceedings with a thunderous strike from the edge of the box, taking pretty much the entire stadium by surprise.

1502 - GOAL! - Berenice-Fedora 1-0 Atletico Sant'Elia (Filipe Effiong, 2 mins)
They may already be down, but since when has that stopped Berenice-Fedora from attempting to play nice football? This time succeed, with Casas' through-ball weighted perfectly for Effiong to run onto and tuck away neatly to give the home crowd something to sing about at last.

1503 - GOAL! - Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 1-0 CD Parquisteres (Ricardo Romario, 3 mins)
First blood in the battle to avoid relegation goes to Clube Esporte, Ricardo Romario coming to the rescue for them yet again as he heads in at the near post from a corner. If things stay the same, Sommieres Hibernia are down, and RC de Mallerosa are teetering on the edge if Estudiantes take the lead in their match against Condensadores

1505
Well, things have quietened down a bit after that initial flurry of goals, and the games are settling down into some recognisable patterns. Conquistadores are fair battering Mallerosa at the moment, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them go further ahead soon. Meanwhile, Collindiana go close at home to Internazionale.

1510
No, I haven't gone to sleep, there just haven't been many events to speak of in the past five minutes. Come on, Acquans, we need some action here! There's title races to be decided!

1512 - GOAL! - Estudiantes CRF 0-1 Condensadores CD (Luis Guajardo, 12 mins)
That's more like it! And that is a goal that could have major implications at both the top and the bottom of the table, with Luis Guajardo netting for the away side direct from a free kick. That goal means Mallerosa are safe as things stand, and Estudiantes have had it. Meanwhile, thanks to Qolo-Qolo and Caballeros both currently drawing, that goal actually means that Condensadores have their hands on the trophy as things stand! And the news for Condensadores fans is only going to get better in a minute...

1513 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 1-0 Qolo-Qolo (Aboubakar Castellani, 13 mins)
Things get worse for Qolo-Qolo! Young striker Aboubakar Castellani has been making something of a name for himself in the last few matchdays thanks to injury in the first team at AS Clube Toros, and he's come back to haunt the team that gave him his first youth contract here with a fine strike from the edge of the area. It will mean nothing for Toros, but for Castellani and Qolo-Qolo it will mean an awful lot indeed.

1515 - GOAL! - Mineros di Collindiana FC 1-0 Internazionale (Antonio Sinopolo, 15 mins)
1516 - GOAL! - Mineros di Collindiana FC 2-0 Internazionale (Moses Asari-Dokubo, 16 mins)
Suddenly its all kicking off in Collindiana, and two goal in quick succession have the home team well in control. Antonio Sinopolo volleys in from a tight angle for the fist goal before sloppy play from the restart for Internazionale means young winger Asari-Dokubo is allowed the space to cut inside and slot home a second goal in two minutes. Internazionale fans seem to have come to party however, so I doubt they'll mind too much. Neither of these clubs can make any significant moves today, so the party atmosphere is in full swing.

1518
No sign of a reaction yet from Qolo-Qolo, who are huffing and puffing without really getting anywhere away at Clube Toros. They need to pick up their game if they're going to win this title.

1519 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 0-1 Caballeros CF (Filippo Esposito, 19 mins)
And things get worse for Qolo-Qolo, and Condensadores get a kick in the teeth as well. Caballeros centre-bak Esposito rises highest from a corner and heads the away side in front to leapfrog Condensadores on the as-things-stand table on goal difference. The power is in Cabelleros' hands.

1521
The tackles are fairly flying in at Cobreloa, where several rough challenges have gone unchecked by the officials now. It's certainly easy to see why so many Acquans get red carded in international football - there is no way half of these challenges would be permitted in Divisjon One.

1522 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-1 Caballeros CF (Guillaume Amador, 22 mins)
I don't understand, did nobody tell the Caballeros players that a win for them as things stand give them the title? Guillaume Amador is allowed far too much space to run into the box and takes three stabs at a shot before the ball richochets off the keeper, post, player, and then trickles into the goal. That is an awful goal to concede for Caballeros, but for Hibernia it gives them a chance at survival, so I doubt they'll mind how the goals go in at all.

1525 - GOAL! - Olimpico Oasi SS 0-1 AS Débardeurs Nationale (Simone Muscetta, 25 mins)
Goal at the Stadio Olimpico, and it is veteran winger Simone Muscetta who scores the goal for the visitors, whipping in a free kick from the wide right that evades everyone and flies into the top corner. Fluke? He won't care, he's scored and the longshoremen take the lead.

1527 - GOAL! - Estudiantes CRF 1-1 Condensadores CD (Matteo Leroy, 27 mins)
Goal for Estudiantes, and tragedy for Condensadores. That goal from Matteo Leroy has been rapturously received at the Stadio Comunale, and it give the home side a chance of staying up. That goal also means that the top three are now fully tied on points, and somehow the title would be headed to Caballeros again, this time on goal difference.

1528 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 0-2 CA Conquistadores (Lucas Sanguinacco, 28 mins)
Conquistadores extend their advantage at Mallerosa, Sanguinacco firing in a delightful shot from distance to further pile on the misery for the home side.

1530 - GOAL! - Ossidianense CF 0-1 Académica di Terrabianco (Ezekiel Maini, 30 mins)
Left-back Ezekiel Maini has scored a late contender for goal of the season, here, dribbling and jinking his way down half the pitch before lobbing the keeper from the edge of the box. Delightful to watch.

1531
Only one goalless game remains today then, and that's in Collindiana between Clube Cobreloa and SS Clube Vortice. There is drama at the top of the table however, with Qolo-Qolo having a goal ruled out, possibly incorrectly, due to an offside call. Caballeros are also knocking hard at the door in Sommieres, and only poor finishing is costing them so far. They really could be about three goals up by now, comfortably.

1532 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 0-3 CA Conquistadores (Lucas Sanguinacco, 32 mins)
1533 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 0-4 CA Conquistadores (Ricardo Velasquez, 33 mins)
Mallerosa are going to hope that results elsewhere go their way at this rate, as this game looks wrapped up before half-time. Lucas Sanguinacco heads home his advantage in the box to score his second of the game, before a free kick almost straight from dispossessing the home side sees captain Velasquez rifle in a vicious strike. Game over, effectively, and we've got an hour to play.

1536 - GOAL! - Berenice-Fedora 1-1 Atletico Sant'Elia (Xavier Puga, 36 mins)
They might have played attractive football all season, but they also let them in like a leaky sieve, and Berenice-Fedora concede another poor goal here, ruining what would be a welcome win on the last day of the season otherwise. Xavier Puga steals in at the front post completely unmarked, and his shot cannons off both posts before bouncing in. Poor defending.

1538 - GOAL! - Mineros di Collindiana FC 3-0 Internazionale (Moses Asari-Dokubo, 38 mins)
Another goal goes in in Collindiana, too, where Moses Asari-Dokubo doubles his tally for the day and extends Mineros' lead over Internazionale with a free kick of the highest quality.

1540 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 1-1 Qolo-Qolo (Ferran Santacruz, 40 mins)
Drama in the title race! Ferran Santacruz looks to have scored a poacher's goal of the most pochiest calibre when he runs on to Tardielli's parried shot and tucks it away, only to see it flagged for offside by the linesman. He holds his head in his hands but the referee overrules the decision and the goal stands! With all three teams at the top now drawing, the title looks to be Qolo-Qolo-bound once again.

1543 - GOAL! - Ossidianense CF 1-1 Académica di Terrabianco (Paulo Pucci, 43 mins)
Ossidianense get a goal back at home to Terrabianco, Paulo Pucci's header finding the back of the net from some distance after a half-cleared corner was lofted his way. A decent headed, but Terrabianco will be disappointed to concede like that.

1544 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 1-4 CA Conquistadores (Kokou Morosini, 44 mins)
Mallerosa captain Morosini gets a goal back when he battles his way into the box and fires a strong shot. Start of an unlikely comback? I doubt it, although the consolation goal should at least bring some comfort.

1545 - GOAL! - Estudiantes CRF 1-2 Condensadores CD (Alejandro Vera, 45 mins)
Just when you thought it was safe to start planning what you were going to say during the interval with half time whistles going up and down the country, it's a goal from Alejandro Vera that sends the title race twisting and turning yet again. Poor play on the edge of the box like that from Estudiantes is always going to play your way into trouble, and so it proved with Vera stealing in on a poor pass and firing his side into the lead, and into the driving seat in the title race.

1547
Phew. You calmed down from all that yet? Half time whistles have been blown in all of the matches now, and so let's take a look at all the scores as things stand...
RC de Mallerosa 1-4 CA Conquistadores
AS Clube Toros 1-1 Qolo-Qolo
Mineros di Collindiana FC 3-0 Internazionale
Berenice-Fedora 1-1 Atletico Sant'Elia
Estudiantes CRF 1-2 Condensadores CD
Olimpico Oasi SS 0-1 AS Débardeurs Nationale
Clube Cobreloa 0-0 SS Clube Vortice
Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 1-0 CD Parquisteres
FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-1 Caballeros CF
Ossidianense CF 1-1 Académica di Terrabianco

1553
Right, forgive the long pause, but I think I've worked out what that all means for the title and relegation races...
Top - as things stand
Team P W D L For Ag +/- Pts
1 Condensadores CD 38 23 6 9 80 50 +30 75
2 Qolo-Qolo 38 23 5 10 82 46 +36 74
3 Caballeros CF 38 21 10 7 82 43 +39 73
4 CA Conquistadores 38 18 11 9 88 50 +38 66
With Caballeros and Qolo-Qolo both currently tripping up on 1-1 draws, it is Condensadores who currently have one hand on the trophy. Though, one has to think things won't stay this way for too long when the second halves kick off again.

1556
Bottom - as things stand
Team P W D L For Ag +/- Pts
13 Ossidianense CF 38 12 9 17 54 60 -6 45
14 Atletico Sant'Elia 38 11 12 15 44 54 -10 45
15 Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 38 11 11 16 27 37 -10 44
16 RC de Mallerosa 38 11 10 17 38 53 -15 43
17 Estudiantes CRF 38 12 5 21 33 52 -19 41
18 Mineros di Collindiana FC 38 8 16 14 27 36 -9 40
19 FC Sommieres Hibernia 38 9 12 17 42 68 -26 39
20 Berenice-Fedora 38 5 16 17 31 53 -22 31
So Sommieres Hibernia slip below Collindiana as things stand, but technically remain in control of their own fate provided Penthesilea lose, so they aren't down and out just yet.

1559
Right, follow all that? I hope so, because the teams are starting to emerge for the start of the second half.

1600
Here we go! The Campiocinato concludes here! The winners, losers, title winners, relegation sufferers, all will be decided in the next fift minutes or so...

1602 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 3-3 Qolo-Qolo (Florian Okereke, 47 mins)
Talk about an explosive start to the second half! Florian Okereke accelerates down the right for Qolo-Qolo and knows just where the goal is, cutting inside and levelling a shot like a rocket straight into the top corner. Game on! It doesn't matter what the score is for Condensadores or Caballeros now, as long as Qolo-Qolo hold the lead, they hold the trophy.

1604 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-2 Caballeros CF (Elia Quintana, 49 mins)
Not that that's going to stop Cabelleros from having a go, obviously. Elia Quintana shows the kind of form that led to him being called up to La Renaissance, angling a pass deep into the Hibernia half before collecting the return from Botticelli and rifling home. Any slip ups from Qolo-Qolo will now be punished by Caballeros, and that goal hammers home Condensadores' relative lack of power over the title race as things stand.

1605 - GOAL! - Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 1-1 CD Parquisteres (Luis Gabrieli, 50 mins)
That could be a crucial goal come the end of the day... Luis Gabrieli takes advantage of some sloppy play by the home side in defence to score a goal from six yards that not only wipes out Penthesilea's advatage on the day, but also two precious points on the as-things-stand table.

1607
So, another early flurry of goals in the second half, and that one from Okereke could be worth its weight in gold for the away side, meaning as it does that Qolo-Qolo take the reins in the title race. Still plenty of time left to develop some more drama however, so let's see what the Campiocinato can serve up for us today.

1609 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-3 Caballeros CF (Jeferson Botticelli, 54 mins)
Botticelli is returned the favour by Quintana, who plays through the striker for a one-on-one that he just never looked like missing. It makes no difference at the top however - Qolo-Qolo still hold all the chips.

1611 - GOAL! - Clube Cobreloa 0-1 SS Clube Vortice (Rui Castro, 56 mins)
So, the last goalless deadlock of the day is broken. Rui Castro is afforded far too much time and space in the box by the Cobreloa defence, and he is able to turn, control, pick a spot, and fire at leisure. One nil to Clube Vortice, and the home side haven't looked even close to scoring yet today.

1614 - GOAL! - Mineros di Collindiana FC 4-0 Internazionale (Moses Asari-Dokubo, 59 mins, HAT TRICK)
Moses Asari-Dokubo is in a fine mood today, and he is determined to enjoy the party atmosphere of the last day of the season, even though he knows his goals can't save the club now. Nonetheless, another rasping shot from the winger completely wrong-foots the keeper, and he scores his first ever hat trick in professional football.

1615 - GOAL! - Ossidianense CF 1-2 Académica di Terrabianco (Ezekiel Maini, 60 mins)
He's never even scored this season before today, and now he's scored twice! Ezekiel Maini is there in the right place and the right time to tap in from a corner after a goalmouth scramble, and restore Terrabianco's lead over Ossidianense as he does so.

1617
Just under half an hour left in most of the matches, and time is running out for the clubs to come up with a last minute bid for safety or the title. Qolo-Qolo have got their game well under control, and they are attempting to just put their title claim in bold type after their loss last matchday made things so interesting today for us all.

1620 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-4 Caballeros CF (Jeferson Botticelli, 65 mins)
Jeferson Botticelli lands his second goal of the afternoon with a fine run and strike at goal from twenty yards. Plenty of jubilation in the stadium from the Knights fans but they soon go back to listening to those with the radio receivers for new of the score in Oristano between Toros and Qolo-Qolo.

1624 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 1-6 CA Conquistadores (Ricardo Velasquez, 69 mins)
Not to be outdone by their cross-town rivals, Conquistadores themselves go five one up at Mallerosa, captain fantastic Ricardo Velasquez scoring the goal that gives his side a commanding lead. Conquistadores have never had any trouble scoring them this season, and it looks like they'll be headed for the top scorers accolade once more. Its the conceding them that's been their problem really, but for those goals at the other end they might have won the whole thing again.

1625 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-5 Caballeros CF (Francois Del Brasco, 70 mins)
They really want this title over at Caballeros though, and they are really beginning to run riot at Hibernia - Del Brasco scoring the goal this time after being lead through by his strike partner Botticelli. Qolo-Qolo remain in charge of the situation however.

1628 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 1-3 Qolo-Qolo (Antonin Schettina, 73 mins)
As if to just underline their stamp on the title, Qolo-Qolo extend their lead through international full back Antonin Schettina - right on cue. With the news trickling through to Sommieres breaking Caballeros hearts, Schettina won't care whatsoever as his goal may well have just stamped his side's name on the trophy once and for all with a little more than a quarter of an hour remaining.

1630
I know we're not looking that much at the relegation battle tonight in favour of giving the title race a good old examine, but rest assured that plenty is happening down there.

1631 - GOAL! - Estudiantes CRF 2-2 Condensadores CD (Andre Raya, 76 mins)
Talk of the devil... Estudiantes have done themselves a massive favour in the relegation battle with this goal, a lovely counter-attacking move that culminated in striker Raya sliding in at the far post to give his side a crucial ladder to climb out of the pit. It's fairly academic with both Qolo-Qolo and Caballeros winning now, but that goal has dealt Condensadores' title hopes a killing blow pretty much.

1634
So things have died down a tad after that bit of excitement goal-wise, but that's not to say plenty isn't happening in other areas of the pitch. Notably on the field in Oristano as Qolo-Qolo see their goalscorer Antonin Schettina sent off for a deliberate handball. Rough tackles the likes of which that we simply wouldn't see in Divisjon One may regularly pass without comment in the Campiocinato, but there is no such leeway on an issue like a deliberate handball, and so the champions elect are down to ten men.

1635 - Mineros di Collindiana FC 5-0 Internazionale (Antonio Sinopolo, 15 mins)
The rout continues in Collindiana, with Internazionale seeming to have given up entirely. Sinopolo is able to simply waltz his way through and score, apparently at leisure, and the Internazionale fans will not be pleased to see that.

1636
Estudiantes are knock knock knocking on the door of Condensadores' goalmouth now, and they go close with a strike over the bar from Andre Raya. More goals in this match, for sure.

1638 - GOAL! - RC de Mallerosa 1-6 CA Conquistadores (Martin Cenghialta, 83 mins)
The rout in Mallerosa continues then, and this time it is defender Martin Cenghialta who gets in on the action with a header from a corner. End of the season or not, the Mallerosa players look dead on their feet. They just want the punishment to finish.

1639 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 2-3 Qolo-Qolo (Achilles Cartellieri, 84 mins)
They couldn't, could they? Ten-men Qolo-Qolo concede a goal late on in the crucial clash. Substitute striker Achilles Cartiellieri who is - get this, on season-long-loan from Caballeros CF - draws his foot back from nowhere and with seemingly nothing on at all, send a rocket shot straight into the top corner of the net. Caballeros hearts in their mouths now.

1642
Estudiantes are hammering away at Condensadores. They know a single goal will see them win the match and rescue them from the jaws of relegation. Clube Esporte de Penthesilea are relying on that not happening, and so they themselves are hammering away at CD Parquisteres back in Sant'Elia.

1643 - GOAL! - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-6 Caballeros CF (Jeferson Botticelli, 88 mins, HAT TRICK)
Jeferson Botticelli has been nigh-on unplayable in the second half, and he gets the hat trick that his fabulous performance has entirely deserved. He cuts inside a defender and send the ball flying into the top corner. He'll be taking home the match ball for sure, but only Qolo-Qolo and AS Clube Toros can decide whether he'll be taking home the league trophy as well.

FULL TIME - Olimpico Oasi SS 0-1 AS Débardeurs Nationale
The full times start rolling in then, and the Longshoremen wrap things up with a routine win away on the last day.

FULL TIME - Clube Cobreloa 0-1 SS Clube Vortice
Clube Cobreloa just never turned up today, and Vortice were never required to hit full pace. A very 'last-day-of-the-season' feel to this match

1646
Oh! Into added time in Oristano now and Achilles Cartellieri is playing like a man possessed! He whistles in a shot from the edge of the box and it just clips the top of the bar before bouncing away behind the goal. Ten-men Qolo Qolo are rocking here, their hold on the trophy is down only to their very fingertips.

FULL TIME - Berenice-Fedora 1-1 Atletico Sant'Elia
It passed under the radar somewhat with all the drama, but the point was enough for Sant'Elia to be sure of safety.

FULL TIME - Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 1-1 CD Parquisteres
Full time at Penthesilea, and they must now wait nervously for news of the Estudiantes-Condensadores match. Only a point for Clube Esporte, and they know another goal for Estudiantes will see them down instead.

FULL TIME - RC de Mallerosa 1-6 CA Conquistadores
Conquistadores end the season in murderous form, shame they didn't show it all season.

1648 - GOAL! - AS Clube Toros 3-3 Qolo-Qolo (Achilles Cartellieri, 93 mins)
And there it is! Cartellieri is running screaming away down the pitch, knowing the killer blow he's just dealt Qolo-Qolo on the behalf of his parent club. He is overjoyed. He is more excited than the rest of the Toros players put together, who know this draw won't affect their position much at the moment. But that strike from the penalty spot after a corner has dealt a crushing blow to Qolo-Qolo. Their players are keen to get on with the restart and are going to be rushing forwards, I'm sure. But how much time do they have left?

FULL TIME - Mineros di Collindiana FC 5-0 Internazionale
Mineros finished the season in style, though it will do them no good.

FULL TIME - FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-6 Caballeros CF
Full time in Sommieres, and Caballeros know that only the final whistle in Oristano will confirm whether they've snatched the trophy from Qolo-Qolo at the last minute.

FULL TIME - AS Clube Toros 3-3 Qolo-Qolo
That's it! Qolo-Qolo run out of time and Cartellieri is Caballeros' hero! That sending off hurt Qolo-Qolo, and two late goals sees their title hopes slide away. Devastation for the fans.

FULL TIME - Ossidianense CF 1-2 Académica di Terrabianco
Another match that slipped under the radar, Ossidianense end the season with a stumble.

1650 - GOAL! - Estudiantes CRF 3-2 Condensadores CD (Andre Raya, 95 mins)
There's the goal that Penthesilea did not want to see! Dramatic scenes as Raya is there to stick out his leg at the crucial point in a goalmouth scramble! The ball bounces into the back of the net and Raya is mobbed by his teammates. Estudiantes are surely safe, now!

FULL TIME - Estudiantes CRF 3-2 Condensadores CD
There wasn't even time for the restart. Despair for Clube Esporte de Penthesilea, but joy for Estudiantes CRF, who live to see another day.

Well, after that incredibly dramatic end to the season, let's see who ended up finishing where. I've been Jon Skaerbaek, and I'm exhausted. Thanks for staying with me. Here are the final results of the day...
RC de Mallerosa 1-6 CA Conquistadores
AS Clube Toros 3-3 Qolo-Qolo
Mineros di Collindiana FC 5-0 Internazionale
Berenice-Fedora 1-1 Atletico Sant'Elia
Estudiantes CRF 3-2 Condensadores CD
Olimpico Oasi SS 0-1 AS Débardeurs Nationale
Clube Cobreloa 0-1 SS Clube Vortice
Clube Esporte de Penthesilea 1-1 CD Parquisteres
FC Sommieres Hibernia 1-6 Caballeros CF
Ossidianense CF 1-2 Académica di Terrabianco

And let's just have a look at how that affected the final table. Phew.

Corrupt Dictatorship

Postby Charruterra » Mon Nov 12, 2012 11:16 am

While the president of the ACL was playing with his new computer, he accidentally sent a joke file that someone else had created in his computer. A bid for the Globe Cup's final site from the worst stadium in all Charruterra, and that's quite a lot.

The Cahó Amijuu Caf bid for the final site rights for the 40th Globe Cup
Capacity: The same as the people willing to sit on grass, if there's any at all

The Cahó Amijuu Caf (Translated to english as The Worst Field Ever) is home to football team Gualiche, renowned for getting thrashed all the time and almost never getting a tie, let alone a win. The field excels for how horrible its grass is, how many puddles of water and blood there are, the cannibal tribe that frequents it and for its goals, which both lack nets. This legendary pitch was the first to be banned by the ACL, for two matches. When an association full of violent indigenous people bans your field, there's something happening there. It's also remarkable for how it's in the middle of the nothing, literally. Look at this map, see the island where Angurzijá is? See the highest point? Well, there, there's a big depression with an area of 1 km2 that is as low as sea level, it's called "the nothing". There's where this stadium is located. It can get really dark there, but Gualiche's president says that "It just proves more of a challenge, who needs light afterall? It's just spilled blood from the devil itself!". Despite this being completely unfounded, truth is it's extremely cold and dark down there. Referees have recently been permitted to carry lanterns, to at least see when the game ends and they get to leave the hellhole that Cahó Amijuu Caf is. To get there, yo must do so by foot, too, getting to the top of a 10,000m mountain is quite difficult and tiring before a final, but it only makes you stronger, specially considering its slope. This, obviously, considering you survive the many tribes and the horrible weather. People are known to disappear there for a reason. After you get there, you have to climb your way down to the pitch. After the match is finished, considering you're still alive, you'll have to repeat all the process but the other way round. Yeah, you'll have to climb all the way up and go all the way down the mountain. The good thing is that those who survive get best-seller books about them afterwards.

Liga 1, season 1

Malham United are surprise champions of Liga 1, winning it on the final matchday after they drew with Ross Village and Gefertigt were held by Mosshügel at home. Gefertigt will be disappointed with second but perhaps more disappointed would be Kleinestadt, who were favourites to win the league, but only finished 3rd. Tailing closely behind them is North Bury, who take 4th and the final Globe Cup spot. Quite a way behind are Ross Village, South Bury and Väterderstadt, seperated by just one point. Neuesiedlung and Kleinesdorf followed at the tail end of mid-table. Then came another shock as Gehenhöhle, expected by many to be rock bottom of the league, actually survived by one point. Mosshügel were the victims of Gehenhöhle's survival, and Inselhauptstadt brought up the rear with only 14 points to show from 22 games.

HRFA Cup
While the HRFA sort the lower leagues out (two random teams promoted this season), the HRFA Cup will be played with just the Liga 1 participants. The four highest ranking teams were taken out and the other eight had to play a preliminary round to get to the quarter finals.

Preliminary Round
Kleinesdorf 1–3 Mosshugel
South Bury 0–1 Neuesiedlung
Inselhaupstadt 1–1 Vaterderstadt
Ross Village 1–1 Gehenhohle

Replays
Vaterderstadt 0–1 Inselhaupstadt
Gehenhohle 1–0 Ross Village

Quarter finals
Mosshugel 1–2 Gefertigt
North Bury 0–1 Neuesiedlung
Inselhaupstadt 3–1 Kleinestadt
Gehenhohle 3–2 Malham United

Semi-finals
Gefertigt 1–1 Gehenhohle (1–2 AET)
Neuesiedlung 3–1 Inselhaupstadt

Final
Gehenhohle 1–1 Neuesiedlung (3–1 AET)

Another remarkable performance from the Gehenhohle team puts them into the Cygnus Cup after a 3-1 win after Extra time. Along the way they defeated Ross Village, a weak Malham United team, a weak Gefertigt team and Neuesiedlung to lift the first HRFA Cup
