Image

by Tufan Nursultan

With four new stadiums constructed and no international window opened, the Super League has seen an increase in the amount of activity between domestic sides with more willingness to exhchange the rights to youth players in order to pick up prospects from relegated sides and experienced veterans who will no longer have a starting role for their clubs in order to either prolong their careers or have new starts, with no club deciding to stand in the way of players who wanted to leave.

Domestic Transfers:

Gokhan Umitoglu (ST) from Kilicspor to Devlet-Bira Fabrika Takimi for one Ipsala youth prospect contract rights.

With the lack of international transfer window, the Super League has seen an increase in the amount of business done by the teams in the division, mostly the relegated sides being cannibalised and players who are stuck on the bench despite being starting quality. Demirspor picked up one player from each of the relegated sides, adding promising left back Devrim Sen to their back line who have needed an improvement in their solidity for a long time and the addition of Tugay Coskun who will be a long term option at striker to partner with Kartal Unal as Hakan Karadere's career enters its final phase. League champions Manat FK added a quality player in the form of Sinan Pamuk who will likely be a long term replacement for Marian Ironside as she advances in years, as a more technical partner for Aycan Kubat. Uryanspor found competition at the defensive midfielder spot, with Erdi Turkyilmaz making the jump from relegated Bakir FK to join a side looking to challenge for the title. Koray Ecevit found his way to Elektriklestirmespor from relegated IFT where he will be allowed time to develop behind Sezgin Sancakli. Tashkentspor added former Tutunspor man Bayram Tansu after his 13 goal campaign last season to be a challenger to national team striker Mehmet Karaman. Tanrispor took advantage of their overachieving season to add right back Ilker Sener from Bakir FK and young midfielder Izzet Yilmaz to replace the aging Haci Eris. Urukspor shored up the right side of their midfield with Uryanspor's Oral Guven who found himself surplus to requirements. Kilicspor added two of the better players from IFT with Torhan Cicek and Baki Boztepe making the move to remain in the Super League. The two teams that did by far the best business were the newly promoted sides, Sariirmakspor added 22 matches of international experience in the form of Osman Hasanoglu making the move from Hisar, Nuri Altun, Nursultan Altayov and Necmettin Umut make the move to shore up the defence and provide Super League quality front line play from Uryanspor, Hisar and Urukspor respectively. Devlet-Bira Fabrika Takimi may have done even better business with the securing of Hasan Kocaeli, who while old is still one of the best goalkeepers in the league and national team right winger and exceptional talent in Tekin Yavuz who will be looking to kickstart his career again after finding himself out of favour at Elektriklestirmespor. Oktay Engin will shore up the left side of the defence after making the move from Bakir FK while Gokhan Umitoglu will be leading the line for the newly promoted side.

Youth Player Signing Summary (Superleague only):
Sahin Toprak (DC) from Tasova Gencler to Hisark FK
Kerim Erkan (DR) from Tasova Gencler to Hisar FK
Okyanus Batur (MC) from Demir Gencler to Hisar FK
Ozakan Yavuz (MC) from Demir Gencler to Hisar FK

Akyol Ozil (GK) from Yavuz Akademisi to Almat JK
Ragip Bulut (DR) from Demir Gencler to Almat JK
Akyon Gurses (AMC) from Demir Gencler to Almat JK
Hasan Aras (DL) from Goynuk Gencler to Tanrispor
Uygur Ecevit (GK) from Altin Akademisi to Urukspor
Altinhan Bardakci (DR) from Uruk Gencler to Urukspor
Aktolga Dagtekin (MC) from Yetenekli Akademisi to Urukspor

Hisar managed to pick up three starting calibre youth players, with Kerim Erkan, Okyanus Batur and Ozakan Yavuz all in competition for starting roles this season. Urukspor picked up a talented and excellent left midfielder in the form of Arda Uygun. Almat picked up a surprisingly under the radar youth prospect in the form of Akyol Ozil who will likely start in goal from day one. Urukspor got a trio of very good youth players, fulfilling needs at goalkeeper, right back and midfield.

With these additions and changes to the squad, the following is an analysis of each team, in the order that we at this paper believe they are most likely to finish in. This season will see no relegation from the Super League as the Football Federation alongside the TimLig administration planning to expand the league to 18 teams and allow the entry of 18 new teams into the structure and relegation from the third division to a full pyramid:

Uryanspor
Image
Team Location: Uryan
Stadium: Madenci Stadium (27,000)
Nickname: Baltacilar (The Axemen)
Manager: Baskurt Cetinkaya (45)
Formation: 4-5-1 DM
Projected Starting XI: GK: Murat Yigithan (26), DL: Hywel Wodework (NPH), DC: Berker Balkan (19), DC: Metin Boz (c) (29), DR: Gokdeniz Dag (24), DM: Erdi Turkyilmaz (26), MC: Azer Erdinc (24), MC: Yasin Tekiner (26), ML: Arda Uygun (18), MR: Susanne Mpenza (CYI) , ST: Fatih Alpaslanoglu (27)
Notable Reserves: ML Demir Kaynarca (19), DM: Timur Nas (30), ML: Kurboga Akyol (32)
Players to Watch: Susanne Mpenza, Hywel Wodeword, Berker Balkan
Previous Finish: 3rd
Analysis: While last season will have felt a bit like a disappointment for them, Uryanspor actually seem even stronger this season, the addition of Erdi Turkyilmaz from relegated Bakir FK will see Timur Nas, an often underwhelming and forgettable performer relegated to the bench in favour of the tough defensive midfielder. They will want to put the disappointment of squandering a late lead in the Super League behind them and push on to show their clear quality over the other sides, the gap between them and champions Manat is not big enough to guarantee them the title, but it should make them comfortable favourites.

Manat FK
Image
Team Location: Manat, Demir
Stadium: Dev Halk Stadium (30,000)
Nickname: Yesil-Beyazlar (Green-whites)
Manager: Marat Yuseinov (43)
Formation: 4-2-4
Projected Starting XI: GK: Ahmed Hurriyet (31), DL: Hasan Maratov (24), DC: Rustem Hafizoglu (29), DC: Ilhan Orhanoglu (28), DR: Nuri Selahattin (23), MC: Aycan Kubat (23), MC: Marian Ironside (BRE), AMR: Volkan Ayhan (25), AML: Umit Yakar (26), ST: Omer Tameroglu (23), Ismail Burhan (24)
Notable Reserves: MC: Manas Ilhamev (31), MC: Hakan Diren (32), GK: Ismet Emre (18), MC: Sinan Pamuk (24)
Players to Watch: Ismail Burhan, Aycan Kubat, Marian Ironside
Previous Finish: 1st
Analysis: The previous season's champions will be eager to show that their narrow title victory was more than a one off, Marat Yuseinov has set his sights clearly on retaining their title and has kept the team together and added solid depth in the form of Sinan Pamuk. This team looks dangerous going forward and has a surprisingly capable back line that's used to playing with a lead, the signs are there that if they get a couple of key results then the title may be staying with the green part of Demir.

Hisar FK
Image
Team Location: Hisar, Demir
Stadium: Hisar School Field of Excellence (6,250)
Nickname: Hisarlar (Fortresses)
Manager: Manas Volkan (34)
Formation: 4-5-1
Projected Starting XI: GK: Saban Inekci (29) , DL: Gokhan Umut (26), DC: Tuna Rustemoglu (c) (36), DC: Eichi Fujiwara (HIN), DR: Kerim Erkan (18), MC: Sahin Gul (30), MC: Ozakan Yavuz (18), MC: Yusuf Ihsanoglu (29), ML: Hakan Visneci (27), MR: Muharrem Umutoglu (26), ST: Yusuf Akman (24)
Notable Reserves: MC: Yildirim Agac (31), DC: Sahin Toprak (18), MC: Ferhat Tarimci (30), MC: Okyanus Batur (18)
Players to Watch: Sahin Gul, Saban Inekci, Ozakan Yavuz
Previous Finish: 7th
Analysis: Manas Volkan can count himself very lucky to be given another year to manage this side. Last season's seventh place finish while their city rivals romped home to a title enraged the Hisar faithful. The upper management however, decided to keep Manas Volkan for another season, with the threat of relegation a non-issue this season, he will need to prove that he can get this team to play at a high standard otherwise he may find himself without a job come next season. The promotion of Eichi Fujiwara into the starting XI alongside youngster Ozakan Yavuz are expected to provide a much needed boost to the side.

Elektriklestirmespor
Image
Team Location: Elektriklestirme
Stadium: Halkın Güneş Çiftliği Stadium (27,000)
Nickname: Yildirim (Lightning)
Manager: Yahsiboga Levni (45)
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Projected Starting XI: GK: Sezgin Sancakli (30), DL: Caner Ulas (24), DC: Cagdas Gurses (25), DC: Anil Erol (28), DR: Engin Tokgoz (27), MC: Eldemir Reza (25) , MC: Berkin Batuk (27), AML: Oktay Keskin (23), AMC: Ertan Renda (C) (26), AMR: Masaki Onishi (HIN), ST: Recep Koyuncu (27)
Notable Reserves: MC:Kazak Baykal (31), GK: Koray Ecevit (19), MC: Tanrivermis Asena (18)
Players to Watch: Ertan Renda, Masaki Onishi, Berkin Batuk
Previous Finish: 2nd
Analysis: Elektriklestirme had a season to remember last season an unexpected title challenge based on a potent attacking quartet, which has been kept together this season and the rest of the team has had another off season together to gel. They aren't expected to repeat their excellent campaign of last season, predicted to be in with an outside chance of a title challenge at best, meeting their expectation of fourth place would be vindication for Yahsiboga Levni who has pursued an unconventional coaching style with his laid back and friendly style.

Demirspor
Image
Team Location: Central Demir, Demir
Stadium: Demir-Is Stadium (5,500)
Nickname: Demirciler (The Iron-men)
Manager: Yusuf Umut (58)
Formation: 4-2-4
Projected Starting XI: GK: Iskender Nur (19), DL: Ixion Stamatellis (NPH) , DC: Alpay Osmanoglu (24) , DC: Levent Ahmedoglu (21), DR: Savas Orhan (22), MC: Atilla Acar (C) (26), MC: Akinci Gumus (28), AMR: Ragip Eyuboglu (24), AML: Tayyar Ozel (28), ST: Tugay Coskun (19), ST: Kartal Unal (22)
Notable Reserves: DC: Gokhan Karabulut (38), DL: Cemalettin Kuyumcu (35), DL: Devrim Sen (19), ST: Hamit Karadere (30)
Players to Watch: Tayyar Ozel, Kartal Unal, Tugay Coskun
Previous Finish: 4th
Analysis: Demirspor are not expected to make big waves, with a fifth place finish expected. They will however, have one of the most potent attacking records in the league, that much seems to be a certainty with Yusuf Umut's system pulling out the best in a relative unknown in Kartal Unal last season. Now equipped with his most talented front two that he's ever had big things are expected from this side, with Tayyar Ozel also expected to play a key role providing both goals and service to the talented and young duo up front.

Tashkentspor
Image
Team Location: Tashkent
Stadium: Tashkent Belediye Isci Stadium (18,500)
Nickname: Taslar (The Stones)
Manager: Osman Zulbekaroglu (33)
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Projected Starting XI: GK: Iltas Gokcen (26), DL: Izzet Timur (19), DC: Murat Bulut (26), DC: Isa Nurioglu (27), DR: Servet Ayturk (26), MC: Altan Seyfi (19), MC: Oz Kizilkaya (19):, AML: Caner Turan (22), AMC: Metin Aytacoglu (25), AMR: Ibrahim Kahveci (24), ST: Mehmet Karaman (30)
Notable Reserves: DR: Kemal Sabuktiginoglu (33), DL: Necip Colak (31), MC: Selcuk Karadeniz (34), MC: Ayhan Ertan (35), ST: Bayram Tansu (25), Murat Karasu (19)
Players to Watch: Servet Ayturk, Altan Seyfi, Caner Turan
Previous Finish: 5th
Analysis: Tashkentspor have an issue, an issue of talent, they have too much of it pooled in Caner Turan, Metin Aytacoglu and Mehmet Karaman and not enough of it concentrated on the defence. Yes they've made some moves to address this and those will pay off this season and beyond, but the fact remains that this is an imbalanced side, that exudes talent. Some have said that this side, under Osman Zulbekaroglu's cup winning leadership may spring a surprise or two, we don't doubt it, it's just a matter of springing enough surprises to make a difference at the end of the season.

Devlet-Bira Fabrika Takimi
Image
Team Location: Ipsala
Stadium: Ipsala Belediye Park (2,000)
Nickname: Biracilar (The Brewers)
Manager: Hami Toker (47)
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Projected Starting XI: GK Hasan Kocaeli (40), DL: Oktay Engin (32), DC: Mevlut Apak (38), DC: Erdem Birol (33), DR: Derin Sener (39), MC: Temir Baba (21), MC: Yoldas Tasci (35), AML: Ertekin Izzet (26), AMC: Hasan Kurt (24), AMR: Tekin Yavuz (31), ST: Gokhan Umitoglu (27)
Players to Watch: Hasan Kocaeli, Tekin Yavuz
Previous Finish: 2nd in the Workers League
Analysis: The newly promoted side, representing workers at the state beer brewery has made big moves. Adding international talent in the form of Hasan Kocaeli and Takin Yavuz who will both be trying to prolong their careers both at club and possibly at international level. The rest of the team is generally quite capable when you look at their form and talent, make no mistake this is very much a Super League side, the question is whether the four new stars can gel with their more grizzled compatriots who had to fight in the Workers League.

Tanrispor
Image
Team Location: Goynuk
Stadium: Goynuk Belediye Parki (1,750)
Nickname: Şamanlar (The Shamans)
Manager: Selim Tansu (43)
Formation: 4-5-1 DM
Projected Starting XI: GK: Demirkan Kavur (27), DL: Hasan Aras (18) , DC: Hidayet Koca (c) (30), DC: Istemihan Sofuoglu (22), DR: Ilker Sener (27) , DM: Erberk Aldemir (27), ML: Halil Emiroglu (19), MC: Izzet Yilmaz (19), MC: Cemal Atalar (27), MR: Alp Osman (19), ST: Emir Aga (19)
Notable Reserves: DL: Orhan Tezcan (32), DR: Cahit Ecevit (33), MC: Haci Eris (37)
Players to Watch: Izzet Yilmaz, Emir Aga, Hidayet Koca
Previous Finish: 6th
Analysis: Last season's surprise package are expected to experience a bit of regression this season, they've got younger across the board with no less than 6 of the starting XI under the age of 23. Selim Tansu will be taking advantage of a year without relegation as a looming threat to develop his young talent in preperation for the reorganised league structure next season. Eyes will be on Emir Aga to see if he can replicate his goal scoring form from last season, which was so critical in that fine season Tanrispor had and Izzet Yilmaz to see if he can thrive in his new home in Goynuk.

Almat JK
Image
Team Location: Almat, Demir
Stadium: Almat Jimnasyum (3,000)
Nickname: Traktorlar (The Tractors)
Manager: Batuhan Okay (57)
Formation: 5-1-2-1-1
Projected Starting XI: GK: Akyol Ozil (18) , DL: Beyhan Enver (25), DC: Okan Kocak (27), DC Ucan Celik (28):, DC: Eyup Mustafa (27), DR: Orhan Yalman (31), DM: Oztekin Timur (c) (24), MC: Mustafa Aydinlar (19), MC: Eren Unal (30), AMC: Sezer Erim (33), ST: Cetin Binali (25)
Notable Reserves: MC: Taner Can (31), DR: Cumhur Yakin (19), AMC: Deniz Erbil (19), DR: Ragip Bulut (18), AMC: Akyon Gurses (18), GK: Ferdi Kurtoglu (31)
Players to Watch: Eyup Mustafa, Oztekin Timur, Beyhan Enver
Previous Finish: 8th
Analysis: Almat have had designs on being competitive with their city school rivals in the form of Manat and Hisar, but have so far failed to come even close to that. A combination of poor team management and bad luck have formed a toxic mix leaving the team in the doldrums of the Super League. The management at the team have been given one more season, free from the risk of relegation to show that their vision is viable, if there aren't substantial improvements, especially with talented national team players such as Beyhan Enver and Eyup Mustafa then Batuhan Okay will find himself looking for a new job come the end of the season.

Sariirmakspor
Image
Team Location: Tasova
Stadium: Tasova Belediye Stadium (2,000)
Nickname: Tekneler (The Boats)
Manager: Hakan Vedat (43)
Formation: 4-5-1 DM
Projected Starting XI: GK: Sefa Cihan (20), DL: Tayfur Oz (36), DC: Nuri Altun (34), DC: Osman Hasanoglu (30), DR: Nursultan Altayov (30), DM: Gurbuz Tufan (25), MC: Hakan Karadag (27), MC: Ulas Bayat (21), ML: Sarihan Isler (31), MR: Bozok Yalcin (25), ST: Necmettin Umut (34)
Players to Watch: Osman Hasanoglu, Necmettin Umut, Nuri Altun
Previous Finish: 1st in the Workers League
Analysis: Sariirmakspor made less of a splash than their fellow promoted side in domestic transfer market, but are looking to make the most of this year to consolidate with the risk of relegation taken away this season. This means that younger players will be given time to adjust while older players will need to show they can hack it at this level. They aren't expected to make much of a splash, but Osman Hasanoglu, Necmettin Umut, Nursultan Altayov and Nuri Altun all bring Super League experience to the table that will prove valuable in both this season and to help the rest of the squad get used to the expectations of Super League play.

Urukspor
Image
Team Location: Uruk
Stadium: Uruk Belediye Stadium (2,000)
Nickname: Bukalemunlar (The Chameleons)
Manager: Firat Seyfi (34)
Formation:4-4-2
Projected Starting XI: GK: Baykal Taskiran (30), DL: Erol Demiroren (24), DC: Cengiz Cakmak (27), DC: Isa Kartal (29), Altinhan Bardakci (18), MC: Aktolga Dagtekin (18) MC: Emre Kahveci (c) (24), ML: Tolga Mehmetoglu (25), MR: Oral Guven (31) , ST: Mertcan Gunaydin (24), ST: Aral Karaman (19)
Notable Reserves: MC: Engin Samdereli (19), MR: Vedat Tas (19), MR: Hasan Gumus (31), MC: Tuna Boral (31), DR: Karatay Ibrahimoglu (30), GK: Uygur Ecevit (18)
Players to Watch: Erol Demiroren, Aral Karamn, Emre Kahveci
Previous Finish: 10th
Analysis: Urukspor were fortunate to remain in the Super League will be simply enjoying a year without the looming threat of relegation. Aral Karaman had an excellent season from the bench that has earned him a starting role, while the team has many young players who will be blooded this season. The hope is that the team will grow with experience and be able to thrive in the new 18 team Super League next season. Erol Demiroren and Emre Kahveci have been marked out as players who will have ambitions to play at larger clubs especially if this season and the next go poorly for Urukspor.

Kilicspor
Image
Team Location: Kilic
Stadium: Kilic Belediye Park (1,800)
Nickname: Kiliclar (The Swords)
Manager: Ildemir Akkoz (36)
Formation: 5-1-2-1-1
Projected Starting XI: GK: Sahin Ozgultekin (c) (29), DL: Ege Uslu (19), DC: Torhan Cicek (28), DC: Ozan Altin (19), DC: Yildiray Sabuktiginoglu (25), DR: Baki Boztepe (25), DM: Tugay Kazakoglu (29), MC: Cem Veysel (24), MC: Yavuz Terzi (26), AMC: Arif Tas (25), ST: Timurdogan Ozbey (19)
Notable Reserves: DR: Yildirim Albayrak (19), DC: Ergun Okanoglu (31), DR: Tayfur Akyel (32), DL: Abdullah Havutcu (32)
Players to Watch: Timurdogan Ozbey, Sahin Ozgultekin, Yildiray Sabuktiginoglu
Previous Finish: 9th
Analysis: In many ways Kilicspor is more talented than many of the teams above it, but they've simply never been able to put it all together, that means a lot of focus is being placed on Ildemir Akkoz this season, with many feeling like this is his last chance in a season free from the threat of relegation to show that he can in fact get this team to reach its potential. With future national team star in the making Timurdogan Ozbey, current international Yildiray Sabuktiginoglu and Sahin Ozgultekin there are pieces in this team that look like a team that could challenge for a title, the fact they don't is beginning to reflect on management.

The long anticipated opener didn't spring many surprises, though they indicated whether teams had indeed improved on their last offering in the Super League. Uryanspor, the 1-0 specialists last season opened as they'd like to continue with a routine 1-0 victory over Kilicspor. Manat showed their greater class and opened their defence of their title with a 3-0 dismantling of Urukspor. Hisar saw off a brave Sariirmakspor, in their Super League debut, 2-0. Elektriklestirmespor's season began in an inauspicious fashion as they lost ou to Almat. Demirspor showed that their attacking potency still remains after last season with a clear 3-1 win over Tanrispor. Finally Caner Turan rescued a point for Tashkentspro against DBFT who looked all but certain to win on their Super League debut, until Caner's intervention.

Sariirmakspor got their first ever point in the Super League in a surprisingly open 1-1 draw. Almat and Manat played to a 1-1 draw in a Demir derby. Tanrispor and Hisar played out a 1-1 draw as well, with Eichi Fujiwara getting his first ever Super League goal. Elektriklestirme brought DBFT back to Earth after their strong opener with a 5-0 demolition of the newly promoted side. Uryanspor returned to winning ways with a Susanne Mpenza goal being enough to see them through against a toothless Sariirmakspor side. Urukspor and Almat played out a bore draw. Tanrispor showed glimpses of their form last season, with a comfortable 2-0 win over Kilicspor. DBFT got their first ever win in the Super League with Gokhan Umitoglu getting the decisive goal. Almat and Uryanspor both earned their point as neither team played poorly or deserved to lose. Saiirmakspor beat out last season's surprise package Tanrispor. DBFT completely overwhelmed Urukspor, with Tekin Yavuz's career appearing to enter a renaissance. Tashkent grabbed a very late goal via Mehmet Karaman to take all three points. Tugay Coskun's early goal was enough to see champions Manat lose to their city rivals. Hisar managed to produce an unusual amount of attacking prowess to beat out Elektriklestirmespor who looked shell shocked by the end of the day.

Tashkentspor saw off Elektriklestirmespor in a shock result, Mehmet Karaman was once again a hero for his team. Hisar frustrated DBFT and hit them on the counter attack twice to see off their challengers 2-0. Manat were denied by Tanrispor, Hidayet Koca's goal frustrating the champions as they dropped points against an inferior opponent. Kilicspor and Almat couldn't muster any offence against each other as the had a bore draw. Urukspor looked a team unleashed and renewed against Sariirmakspor winning 3-1.

Hisar saw off their city rivals, exploiting the gaps left for counter attacking over and over as they ran out 2-0 winners. Tashkentspor stunned champions Manat FK four goals flying into the champion's net on their way to a heavy 4-1 defeat. Demirspor struggled to generate many chances and ended up sharing the points with Sariirmakspor. Tashkentspor's superior talent showed as they sent Almat back to Demir with no points. In the final round of matches before the cup break, Uryanspor ended this half of the season on a strong note, winning 2-0 against Kilicspor. Manat needed only an early goal from Ismail Burhan to take home the three points. Hisar ensured they would end this half of the season on top, with a narrow and nervy 2-1 win over Sariirmakspor. Elektriklestirmespor needed an Ertan Renda free kick to be the difference between them and Almat. Tanrispor earned a shock draw against Demirspor. DBFT ran Tashkentspor very close and kept them under constant pressure, but Mehmet Karaman's goal in the 74th minute saw the visitors take the three points.

12 Sariirmakspor 12 1 2 9 7 20 -13 5

As we head into the cup break that marks the halfway point in the season, Hisar hold a narrow advantage over a surprisingly robust challenge from Tashkentspor, while defending champions Manat struggle to keep up with the top two and early favourites Uryanspor find themselves even further away from making a serious challenge for the title. The gap between Uryanspor in 4th and Tanrispor in 8th is a mere four points so the middle of the pack is incredibly crowded, while Almat linger on a mere 14 points they can take comfort in the fact that they are faring much better than the Super League's three bottom feeders, Kilicspor, Urukspor and Sariirmakspor all languishing on five points from the first twelve matches.

Welcome to the Federação de Futebol Independente's first cycle of competition! Proud to be the second competition specifically designed for the multiverse's sporting homeless, and first for their domestic clubs, FFI builds on the framework created by UICA and carried on by the IFCF, in a similar vein to the AOCL, CdC, and CEdC. With the growth of the IAC, 'the randos of NS sport have never been better organized,' as Squornshelous put it, and with this newfound sense of identity, it is time for a 'regional' club competition of our own. The information you need to participate will be found below.

There are four categories for which a nation may make entries: clubs to compete in the Liga dos Vencedores and the Copa das Confederações, as well as venues to serve as the final site for each competition. A user may make submissions from two nations (a main and a puppet, two puppets), and neither of those nations can be in the regions of Antlantian Oceania, Rushmore, or Esportiva. Past participation in those regions is not a disqualifying factor, and nations may be puppets of nations in, or have puppets in, those regions. Entry limits described below apply to nations, not users.

Image

Each association may enter two clubs in the Liga dos Vencedores. As the name (League of Victors, in English) implies, entered clubs must qualify by winning one of the top two spots in their association's top tier of football competition. Multiassociational leagues are entitled to as many places as their constituent associations would otherwise be entitled.

The Liga dos Vencedores will be scorinated and seeded using current UICA association coefficients, and future editions will combine IFCF ranks with results from past cycles of FFI competition. The competition will consist of a group stage of 32 teams (16, if entry numbers necessitate). Teams will play a double round-robin (home and away) with the top two teams of each group advancing. The knockout rounds will also be aggregate home and away games, with the exception of the final, a single match to be played at a neutral site. If more than 32 teams enter, preliminary rounds will be added, following the same format as the knockout rounds. Teams will be seeded according to association coefficient, but with all champions seeded above all runners up.

Clubs who win third place in their group in the Liga dos Vencedores will advance to the octofinals of the Copa das Confederações.

Image

The format for the Copa das Confederações will be similar to that of the Liga dos Vencedores except as follows. Each association will be allowed to enter a single team. Teams must have participated in the top tier of football competition for their association and must qualify on sporting merit, although not necessarily league performance (teams may be third-place finishers in their league, cup or playoff winners, et cetera). The group stage for the Copa das Confederações will be only 16 teams in four groups of four, as numbers permit. The top two teams from each group will advance to play the third place teams from the Liga dos Vencedores group stage in the Copa das Confederações round of sixteen.

Each association may also submit one (1) final site bid for either the Liga dos Vencedores final or the Copa das Confederações final. This does not preculde a user from submitting a bid for both venues, using different nations. There are no in-context requirements for final site bids but bids will be selected randomly with a simulated IC vote, with a bias towards bids which are better presented/rp'ed. Final site bids may (but do not have to) include information on venue, location, capacity, description, history, photos, or anything else that is desired.

Realizing that different associations treated the Dwile Invitational in different ways, entries posted or edited into posts at any time since the last UICA cutoff will be accepted, up until the first IFCF cutoff. No post will be made to alert FFI participants of an upcoming cutoff, since the IFCF cutoff will be used. Entries must be posted in this thread, although they may link to results elsewhere. The format for entries will be familiar to those who have participated in UICA, as follows:

Examplia (ABC) qualifiers
Liga dos Vencedores: Example FC, Fake Team Sporting
Copa das Confederações: Imaginary United

Entries may use acronyms for the competitions: FFI LdV and FFI CdC, respectively. Final site bids should be posted in their own box, like so:

Examplia (ABC) final site bids
Liga dos Vencedores: Sponsor Field, Example City (capacity 1,093)
Sponsor Field is the oldest stadium in Examplia still in use, and is shared by the nation's two most successful franchises. It was built when it was realized that it would be, like, really bad form to just plagiarize the UICA final site examples.”

The first cycle of FFI competition will be scorinated by Reçueçn, with Crownbrook as a backup host. If you have any questions or comments, or if any necessary information has been forgotten, please telegram them, find them on discord, or post in the IDSD thread. After a couple cycles hosts will be elected for set terms.

2nd Edition of The Fekadu Financial Power Index - Part II
Authored by Dr. Sololeya Fekadu, Dean of the College of Sports Studies at Northern Moravica University

There isn't much to say here- simply a continuation of Part I's rankings. The kicker here, however, is since there has not been another edition of UICA competition since the last release of the Fekadu FPI, and crucially, no update in UICA ranking, we'll have to use the Dwile Invitational, as the prominent international club competition during the time, as the focus for our analysis.

Top 20 associations
All financial numbers listed in NSDs. All numbers rounded to two decimal places.
#20: Schottia(SCT). Top Flight: Schottic Premier League. Financial Power Index: 3.46
Total Spending: $59.75 million. Average Purchase: $3.51 million. Median Purchase: $4 million. Total Sales: $247.9 million.

You cannot have a discussion on The Schottic Premier League, and the state of finances in Schottic football, without talking about their champions- the Willox Street Pirates. The former Port Christopher side that now plies its trade within the SPL, Schottia is a nation that has risen to the top of the world in football. Their World Cup champion side, of course, was widely considered one of the greatest sides to ever play the game- their national team achieved the highest rank out of any team in the last 20 cycles, even beating out a team that won back-to-back World Cups, Vilita. It all starts in the SPL, however. There are a number of strong sides in the SPL. Banija's first Galactico, George Wangolo, was shortlisted after playing for Blue Coast 1981. The SPL is a competitive league, and as Schottia returns to the international fold, it will be the center piece for their revival.

They had a decent performance in the Dwile Invitational. The Willox Street Pirates, the SPL champions, led the way and was the only Schottic side in the group stages of that tournament, even reaching the Round of 16. The defending SPL champions even won their group. Why don't they rank higher, of course? The fire sale that many SPL clubs had in the last window. $60 million in purchases in the last 3 windows is nothing to sneeze at. However, a staggering nearly $250 million in sales in the same time period will, of course, lower their FPI to perhaps a lower ranking than it should be. There is an $188 million dollar gap between total sales and total purchases with Schottic clubs, the largest gap in favor of sales out of any association measured. Their FPI actually went down, and their rank by 8 spots from the last one, but of course we expect them to continue to climb back up these rankings before long.

#19: Equestrian States(EQS). Top Flight: UHFA United League. Financial Power Index: 3.69
Total Spending: $66.75 million. Average Purchase: $3.93 million. Median Purchase: $2.5 million. Total Sales: $73.01 million.

And now, we go to the country that is suddenly home to the dominant dynasty in international football- Equestria. Their national team has won back-to-back AOCAFs, and sandwiched all that with their first ever World Cup title, winning World Cup 83 on home soil, ending Starblaydia's chase for 6 in the World Cup Final in Canterlot. They say winning is addicting, and it is indeed for the archrivals of the Kadongo Kamu. But, how is the United League doing? It is famously a fiercely competitive league, and there is certainly money there- Manechester City, historically, is one of the richest clubs in football. Now, of course, there will be no Dwile Invitational analysis here- simply because UHFA clubs did not participate in the Apox run tournament.

They fell three spots in their ranking, from #16 to #19. Overall, Equestrian clubs seem to be able to maintain that balance. A little more in sales, collectively, than in purchases, but healthy numbers. Equestrian clubs are active in every window, working hard to improve their fortunes. Of course, the biggest transaction this window didn't even count towards the rankings- Chromatik winger Molly Thorben going from the Canterlot Stars to Crystal Fair HC. Of course, with Equestrian talent seemingly reaching its peak right now, winning three major tournaments in consecutive fashion, we imagine that the value of Equestrian clubs will continue to rise.

#18: Mriin(MRN). Top Flight: Mriin National League. Financial Power Index: 3.71
Total Spending: $59.2 million. Average Purchase: $3.12 million. Median Purchase: $2 million. Total Sales: $29 million.

Last time around, we didn't give Mriin any analysis. They ranked 28th in our rankings, but their clubs had achieved almost a perfect balance of money flowing in, and out, of the MNL. $29.2 million spent on purchases, and $29.75 million received. Peak fiscal responsibility, collectively, as a league. It was a sign of clubs who knew their budgets, and while they were still searching on the margins of the transfer window for talent to improve their chances, it was a visible sign that clubs, collectively, were going to spend within their means, and not break the bank.

Something has now changed in Mriin. Applying that analysis now to the MNL would be as outdated as the horse and carriage.

Something must have gotten into the water in Mriin. Between windows 22-24, Mriin clubs had spent a total of $29.2 million. Between windows 23-25, Mriin clubs have spent a total of $59.2 million, with the bulk of that money coming in Transfer Window 25. The calculus has changed. What has caused Mriin spending to shoot up in such a short period of time? Of course, without looking at the revenues, it is hard to say for sure. But this much is certainly true- Mriin clubs are more ambitious financially, both on and off the pitch, and the numbers prove it to be true. In the last edition of the FPI, they were ranked 28th- now, they are ranked as the 18th richest association, and they are seriously climbing up this table. This is highlighted, of course, by the Maal Dæmons spending $10 million NSDs on Ko-orenite goalkeeper Wellington Doolan. That's a significant sum of money for any player, especially a goalkeeper. Mriin clubs are now investing top dollar for talent. It's hard to say what this will mean, since MNL clubs did not participate in the Dwile Invitational, but the ambitions will certainly rise on the pitch for MNL clubs in international competition.

#17: Mytanija(MYT). Top Flight: Mytanar Top League. Financial Power Index: 3.85
Total Spending: $49 million. Average Purchase: $3.50 million. Median Purchase: $2.63 million. Total Sales: $12.55 million.

No participation in Dwile Invitational Tournament, no purchases in Transfer Window 25. Therefore, cannot provide analysis. Mytanija was ranked 17th in the last rankings, and held onto the spot.

#16: Ethane(ETN). Top Flight: The Flame League. Financial Power Index: 4.05
Total Spending: $91.1 million. Average Purchase: $2.46 million. Median Purchase: $2.50 million. Total Sales: $63.4 million.

No participation in Dwile Invitational Tournament, no purchases in Transfer Window 25. Therefore, cannot provide analysis. Ethane was ranked 18th in the last rankings, and rose two spots.

#15: Taeshan(TAE). Top Flight: Taeshan Premier League. Financial Power Index: 4.79
Total Spending: .$51.2 million. Average Purchase: $4.65 million. Median Purchase: $3 million. Total Sales: $25 million.

And now, time for the Taeshan Premier League. They've made a good jump in the rankings, going from the 21st to the 15th spot in the FPI rankings. Taeshan Premier League sides are investing further in their squads, interested in player development, in club development, and it shows. Of course, back home in Banija, the Taeshan Premier League is also famous for the newly installed Fadron Pizza TPL v. BSL All-Star Game, the first of which occured in Taeshan at the end of last season, and the second of which will occur this season at the Stadium of the Restoration. Sponsored, of course, by the Taeshani pizza company that owns the Busembe Timberwolves. Regardless, what kind of investments did Taeshan Premier League sides make this offseason?

Of course, the Laketown Rangers were one of 8 league champions to be slotted directly into the group stages of the Dwile Invitational. They did so with lots of new talent. They spent $5 million NSDs on Donald Bone, a Schottian goalkeeper, to feature for them long-term. While that might be quite a bit for a goalkeeper, he's only 21- if that move works out long-term and he's between the sticks for the next 5-10 years, then the money spent will be a pittance. The Rangers, also having a two year loan for Nephara national Latona Basilisk, went to the knockout stages of the Dwile Invitational, before falling in the Round of 16 on aggregate to Bastion of Eura. The biggest purchase, however, was by the Bayern Phoenix. They spent a whopping $14 million in the most recent window on Darmen defender Curtis Tremblay. It is one of the major reasons why Taeshan media outlets make them a favorite to win the league.

In Taeshan, there a few heavy spenders, and at least for the Laketown Rangers, the money has paid off, though the jury remains on the Bayern Phoenix. But considering two sides into the Dwile Invitational group stages, and one of those two into the knockout stages, you'd say it is money well spent, right?

#14: Valladares(VLD). Top Flight: Liga-1. Financial Power Index: 5.60
Total Spending: $50.5 million. Average Purchase: $8.42 million. Median Purchase: $7.25 million Total Sales: $59.75 million.

No participation in Dwile Invitational Tournament, no purchases in Transfer Window 25. Therefore, cannot provide analysis. They were ranked 8th in the last rankings, and fell 6 spots.

#13: Pasarga(PAS). Top Flight: SuperLiga. Financial Power Index: 6.02
Total Spending: $113.75 million. Average Purchase: $3.35 million. Median Purchase: $3 million. Total Sales: $104.4 million.

An interesting offseason for Pasarga. They are one of few teams to be able to maintain their ranking. They were the 13th richest last time, and now, the SuperLiga maintains that spot. Their actual FPI number did increase, however, from 4.40 to 6.02, which means that them maintaining their ranking is reflective of the general higher amounts of money being thrown around in Transfer Window 25, as compared to Transfer Window 22. They are known for being a league that punches well above their financial weight, and that was true once again in the Dwile Invitational. They only entered two teams into the competition, but boy, did both teams perform. Club Stein-Los entered in the First Preliminary Round of Qualifiers, and had to win a pair of two-legged ties to even qualify for the group stages. They did just that, knocking out two different clubs from Kita-Hinode, whose KiHi-League is richer than the SuperLiga, in order to reach the group stages. They did just that, and the SuperLiga's other side in the Dwile Invitational, CA Paulinthal, qualified for the group stages directly.

CA Paulinthal's run to the quarterfinals of the Dwile Invitational was helped via purchases of Camila Soria Luna(for an undisclosed fee, so it was not included in calculation for their FPI number) and Layla Montgomery, the Cosumarite left back, for a $3.5 million NSD fee. And for Club Stein-Los, their $4 million NSD purchase of Hermaeus Mora was helpful in their run from the first preliminary round to the Round of 16 of that competition. But it wasn't the Dwile Invitational sides that were flexing the most muscle there- it was the other teams in the SuperLiga, trying to take their spots in the table. Tanrısal ended up triumphing as the champions of the SuperLiga this past season, and they had a few major purchases to help them out. They invested a significant amount of money in this past transfer window, $15 million in four new players, and it paid off. Headlined, of course, by splashing $7 million on Schottian striker Jonte Bestatter, though of course spending dollars to bring home a pair of Pasargans from abroad surely helped spark their title run as well.

Even though they had the highest rate of return on dollars invested, considering their league title, Jonte Bestatter was not the biggest purchase by a SuperLiga side in the 25th transfer window. That would be Evangeline Aschenbach, the central midfielder who came to Baskita FC for $9.5 million NSDs. And it certainly took dollars to lure John McCormack to Pasarga. But, their return on investment was poor, as they fell in the league table from 5th to 10th. So some money was spent wisely, some was spent poorly, but of course, the SuperLiga's targeted investments make most of their money spent worthwhile.

#12: Banija(BNJ). Top Flight: Banijan Soccer League. Financial Power Index: 7.64
Total Spending: $112 million. Average Purchase: $3.39 million. Median Purchase: $3.25 million. Total Sales: $54.8 million.

And now, for the BSL! Despite the advent of a series of new media rights deals, headlined by deals in Quebec and Eshan, but also smaller deals in places like Valanora, that showed the increased revenue potential of the BSL, Banija's league actually fell two spots in this ranking, to 12th, from 10th. Of course, after a ton of dollars invested in the last window, this might just be a fair, general rebalancing in accordance with the financial interests of the Banijan Soccer League, since it's quite possible clubs had overspent in previous windows. Now, of course, here is the real question- was the $112 million spent by Banijan clubs over the past 3 windows worth it? It has seen the BSL make a serious climb in UICA rankings, and when the new IFCF comes, it will be the first season that the BSL puts 2 sides into the top tier international club competition, the IFCF Champions League.

This past offseason was not really defined by major spending for clubs in the Banijan Soccer League. But there were two big investments that did pay off. One, of course, was Vatan Ercetin coming to Jinja City. The former TimLig Golden Boot winner really shined in Jinja City, thriving in the #10 role as he won individual honors, as well as helping Jinja City to its first league title since the first season of the BSL. But the manager who put it all together was Mór Császár. In his first season, he really thrived, bringing silverware to BCEL Stadium for the first time in quite a long time. They spent dollars to bring him to Northern Hangaza, and he seems like he's ready to claim the title of best manager in the BSL away from Brian Emerson, whose unrivaled success at Herzegovina City has given him that.

The second, of course, was Hoima bringing Robert Craig into town. That move helped stabilize the Warriors midfield, and it showed in the Dwile Invitational, when the Warriors were the only team in the BSL to make the group stages of the Apoxian run competition. Now that the media rights money is going to really start to roll in, and the revenue streams should stabilize with upcoming IFCF competition coming soon. Maybe you'll see a number of Banijan sides, especially the bigger ones, to invest money to allow them to catch Jinja City and Herzegovina City?

#11: Brenecia(BRE). Top Flight: The A-League. Financial Power Index: 8.40
Total Spending: $158 million. Average Purchase: $3.29 million. Median Purchase: $2.5 million. Total Sales: $139.85 million.

If you talk about leagues that get the most value for dollars spent, it is clear which leagues would be at the top of that ranking. The SuperLiga #2, and the A-League, #1. And it wouldn't be close, either. But that's not what we're after here, is it? Regardless, even though they increased their FPI significantly, from 4.80 to 8.40, they still find themselves just outside the top 10. But just because the A-League is 11th in the boardroom, does not mean they are on the field. This is a league that finds itself ranked 3rd in the UICA/IFCF league rankings. On the field, the A-League gives an absolutely fantastic product. Two of the A-League's four entrants into the Dwile Invitational made the group stages of the competition, and both of those teams, Kingsgrove and Northern Union, made runs to the Quarterfinals. Of course, once reaching the Quarterfinals, both sides were felled, but still- a job well done.

Northern Union are one of the multiverse's richest clubs, ranking 19th in the club FPI. They are also, by a decent amount, the A-League's richest club. So it was no surprise when, in the 25th Transfer Window, they led the way, with the club spending $20 million NSDs on Vega Zeale-Riddick, the Cosumarite center-forward, to lead the front line. But the rest of the league wasn't throwing down the big bucks. It is the A-League's ability to find talent at the margins that defines them. The next highest purchase from an A-League side was Eoin Cascarine, by Kingsgrove for $5.5 million NSDs. They are not throwing crazy amounts of money around- which means that lots of credit must be given to A-League scouts and coaches, who develop good talent into great players. It's unfortunate that no Banijans play in Brenecia, right? Regardless, you'll have to see how this trend continues to move for the A-League. Even though they did not move in the standings, their FPI still went up by a significant number. If they continue to spend more money, then expect the A-League to eventually start moving up this list.

#10: Darmen(DAR). Top Flight: Series A. Financial Power Index: 8.81
Total Spending: $130.1 million. Average Purchase: $2.89 million. Median Purchase: $2.5 million. Total Sales: $20.45 million.

Series A really spent the 25th window packing some financial muscle. Their FPI more than doubled, going from 4.24 to 8.81. Their total spendign between windows 22-24 was $63 million- and now, their total spending in the last 3 windows has more than doubled. Clubs up and down Series A started spending more money, and investors will certainly want to take notice. And which club spent the most money? IT would be MTK Kingsville, who spent over $20 million in this past window on 3 players. That, of course, is highlighted by none other than Cobrio winger Moses Lofuko, who came to Kingsville for $11 million NSDs. But while he was the highlight, that was not it for MTK Kingsville. Patrice Champetier came to the club from Kelssek for $7.25 million NSDs, and the Osarius national De'Vondre Hemingway came to the club for about $3.25 million. And while they led the way for clubs in Series A, they were not the only clubs to spend money.

Darmeni clubs spent over $86 million NSDs in the last window alone, across 28 purchases. Clubs from all over the spectrum tried to improve their fortunes by investing in foreign talent. Money spent helped Series A, to a point. They put three clubs into the group stages of the Dwile Invitational, more than higher ranked nations like Brenecia. Unfortunately, once they got to the group stages, none of them advanced, with 2 of 3, including MTK Kingsville, finishing in last in their groups, but they were there. That's three times as many clubs that participated in that competition's group stages as the BSL. It shows that Series A clubs are ready to take the next step, and that may certainly happen in the next IFCF season, when they put two clubs into the IFCF Champions League.

#9: Mercedini(MRC). Top Flight: Mercedinian Premier League. Financial Power Index: 11.04
Total Spending: $88.7 million. Average Purchase: $6.34 million. Median Purchase: $5 million. Total Sales: $47.5 million.

No participation in Dwile Invitational Tournament, no purchases in Transfer Window 25. Therefore, cannot provide analysis. They were ranked 7th in the last rankings, and fell 2 spots.

#8: Kita-Hinode(HIN). Top Flight: KiHi-LEAGUE. Financial Power Index: 12.13
Total Spending: $96 million. Average Purchase: $5.05 million. Median Purchase:$3 million . Total Sales: $0.00.

And now, time for the KiHi League. When we talked about one purchase skewing the data, we can talk about the KiHi-League. Of course, that brings debate in and of itself- does that mean they are overly ranked? Or is that still reflective of the league's financial position. Of course, we are of the belief that even outlier purchases are reflective of a league's financial power, because they are capable of pulling up those funds and actually sending them. So of course, the winger that made big headlines, made them again. In the 24th window, he was bought by AC Roses 317 for a staggering $38 million fee. That was the 5th largest fee of windows 22-24, and the second largest of the last window. And after one season at AC Roses 317 in Velestria/Quincy, he has moved again. AC Roses 317 has sold him at a $2 million profit, as North Kazama United spent $40 million to secure Silva's services.

That $40 million represented over 2/3s of all transfer fees spent in the 25th window by clubs in the KiHi-League. It is hard to draw a verdict on how well that money was spent, as North Kazama United was not in the Dwile Invitational, nor is their domestic league finished. But we can see how that effected the KiHi-League's ranking on this list. They went from the 15th richest league, to the 8th richest league in the multiverse. Quite a climb. A nation that is known for its excellence in discovering and pumping out youth talent, as there are young players from this country all over the multiverse. And young players from across the multiverse who go here. Even Gitonga Kahara, the now captain for the Kadongo Kamu and star player for both club and country, got his start by winning the golden boot in their youth league. Of course, the Silva purchase was just one purchase. Is that a one off? Or will they make a bunch of money? If they start pouring money into transfer fees, as well as continuing to produce youth talent at the rate that they are doing so, then in a couple of seasons the KiHi-League is going to be downright scary.

#7: Apox(APX). Top Flight: Apoxian National League. Financial Power Index: 17.01
Total Spending: $213.4 million. Average Purchase: $4.45 million. Median Purchase: $4 million. Total Sales: $150.9 million.

And now, for Apox. The organizers of the Dwile Invitational. And the league where quite a few Banijans, including two national team starters(GK Lemuel Bereket and CAM Namakula Kawesa) ply their trade. They moved up two spots in this ranking, from 9th after the last window, to 7th in this window. The Apoxian National League is one of the multiverse's strongest leagues, and their clubs spend money like that as well. National League sides had two different purchases this past season- The Barbarians spent $10 million NSDs to bring home Apoxian national James Palmisano, who is all of 34 years old, home from Spartangrad in Eura. He will join Banijan attacking midfielder Namakula Kawesa in Gwinerva. And Servet Misidjan, of AFC Treason in Nephara, was valued at $10 million NSDs as well by the Oldem Knights.

The Dwile Invitational was actually a disappointing competition for the tournament's organizers, as 0 Apox sides made the group stages of the Dwile Invitational. But still- the fact that the tournament was organized at all, so that some international club football could happen as the UICA disintegrated and the IFCF was built up, was greatly appreciated. But of course, this financial muscle would need to turn into on field success. What will they do to ensure that success? Different Apoxian clubs are capable of spending big dollars, and we can expect different sides to do so in the future. Apoxian sides are some sort of a dark horse in the FPI- they are one of the nations that, financially, probably has the capability of breaking into the Top 5 in this index, even if they haven't yet. Apoxian clubs are one of four nations where their clubs have spent over $200 million in the last 3 windows, and that shows their potential to do more in this graphic, if they choose.

#6: Union of Quincy(QCY). Top Flight: LigVezia Series A. Financial Power Index: 19.28
Total Spending: $126.1 million. Average Purchase: $8.41 million. Median Purchase: $4.70 million. Total Sales: $85.9 million.

Clubs from the Union of Quincy did not participate in the Dwile Invitational. That said, Quincy clubs continued to make their mark and impression financially, as the league continues to flex powerful financial muscle. Thanks to a lot of dollars being spent by AC Roses in the last window, they find themselves still high up on this list. They fell only two spots from the last window, from 4th to 6th. The main reason for their fall, of course, is the sale of the player who highlighted their rapid rise- Luis Silva, the Dreamplanet winger. HE sold for $40 million. He, more than any other player, has perhaps effected this list the most. His purchase by AC Roses brought their nation to 4th on this list, and then his purchase by a KiHi-League club brought them from 15th to 8th on this list, while dropping Quincy two spots.

Their clubs spent a decent amount of money this offseason. The biggest purchase by a Quincy club was Ko-orenite defender Quentin Seoane, who came to Azulon United for a fee of $10 million NSDs. But, of course, it was not worldbreaking. Maybe Transfer Window 24 was an outlier in terms of crazy spending, or maybe this season was an outlier in very little spending? Regardless, they are a perfect example of why we measure across three windows, rather than one- so that no one, individual data point can skew the big picture to a ridiculous extent. Trends are important, and if we did a single window's worth of measurement, we'd miss those trends, wouldn't we?

#5: Audioslavia(AUD). Top Flight: The National League. Financial Power Index: 21.30
Total Spending: $119 million. Average Purchase: $11.9 million. Median Purchase: $9.5 million. Total Sales: $118.5 million.

No participation in Dwile Invitational Tournament, no purchases in Transfer Window 25. Therefore, cannot provide analysis. They were ranked 6th in the last rankings, and moved up to fifth. While we cannot provide analysis, we can note that they had the highest average purchase of any nation on this list, at $11.9 million, which propelled them to the top 5. We can also note that while Mrii clubs were the epitome of fiscal responsibility last time around, that title can go to Audioslavia, as there is only a $500,000 difference on total sales and total purchases by Audioslavian clubs over the last three windows, even though both of the first two numbers are each in the 9 figures. Even the rich just don't throw money around, eh?

#4: Valanora(VAL). Top Flight: Elven Premiership. Financial Power Index: 22.07
Total Spending: $193 million. Average Purchase: $4.83 million. Median Purchase:$3.25 million . Total Sales: $25 million.

And now, time for the giant of the Glorious Southwest- Valanora. Arguably the singular most storied nation in the entire sport, on both the club and international level. But even though it seems as if they did not improve by much, only moving up one spot, they really packed quite the punch during this transfer window. Vanorian clubs spent $119 million in this window, compared to only $11 million coming in. That's a gap, of course, of over $100 million. There were two different purchases by clubs from the Eternal Empire that were worth over $20 million NSDs. The first, of course, was 22 year old striker Domé Odóma. The Cosumarite who has bright potential, Raynor City United slapped down $20 million for the front man, as that club really put their money where their mouth was this offseason. One of the biggest clubs in all of club football, this window may in fact have vaulted them high up the club FPI rankings(find out when Part IV comes out, eh?). The same club put out $22 million for Kuma Bultum, the Banijan center back who really came into his own at World Cup 83, starting for the Banijans as we went to the World Cup Semifinals.

$42 million NSDs on two purchases. And yet, that's not it. They completed the other half of their brand new, expensive, center back pairing by paying $10 million for Karl-Heinz Jager, from Siovanija & Teusland, to join the Elven Premiership. It makes sense that the subregion's best players would ply their trade in the subregion's strongest league. In total, Raynor City United spent $53 million on four players. That's close to the highest amount any club spent in the 25th transfer window. And it paid off in the Dwile Invitational, as they rode their strongest players all the way to the Quarterfinals of the Invitational, where they were knocked out by Bastion of Eura. While certainly a lot of clubs have money in this league, it is Raynor City United who leads the way on this front, and you can thank them for being fourth on this list. This league is not far behind Cosumar for that third spot- they are certainly capable of catching Härlighet Ligan on this list.

#3: Cosumar(COS). Top Flight: Härlighet Ligan. Financial Power Index: 26.42
Total Spending: $332 million. Average Purchase: $5.53 million. Median Purchase: $4 million. Total Sales: $352.55 million.

And now, for Cosumar. The richest league in Atlantian Oceania. Total spending across three windows of over $300 million. Their FPI would be higher, if it wasn't for the fact that even with such high numbers for purchases, their number for sales was even higher- $352.55 million. Of course, let us look at the biggest purchases and sales that defined this window for the Härlighet Ligan. Morgan Fox, a Euran striker in their prime, was purchased by the Olask Islanders for the fee of $20 million NSDs. But that was far from the only big money purchase by Cosumartie clubs in the 25th window. Kaytlyne Victoriane, the Chromatik attacker/winger, went to Mallox for a steep fee of $15 million NSDs. Those two were the highlights, of course, but Härlighet Ligan made 5 purchases in the window worth at least $10 million. A nation can rise up this list when they are high on quality, and this second financial tier of nations, from Cosumar to about Apox, combine both quantity and high averages, making a lot of expensive purchases for high amounts.

But of course, a lot of money went into the Härlighet Ligan as well. Two different Cosumarite players were purchased for $20 million NSDs, showing the value that Cosumarite players have on the international transfer market. Clubs from around the multiverse value Cosumarite talent. Even Banija, which does not have that many Cosumarite players, has a significant amount of Cosumarite managers, with three of the top six clubs in the BSL being managed by Cosumarites. They have highly developed football talent in that nation, and the multiverse at large recognizes that. OF course, Cosumarite clubs did not participate in the Dwile Invitational, so it is hard to say how well this money is being spent. But their clubs are surely to be among the most competitive in IFCF competition once it kicks off.

#2: Eura(EUR). Top Flight: The Gold League. Financial Power Index: 55.03
Total Spending: $442.5 million. Average Purchase: $6.41 million. Median Purchase: $5 million. Total Sales: $248.15 million.

Eura and Nephara, of course, are in their own world when it comes to money. Both the Gold League and the Nepharim Premiership spend crazy amounts of money, and in large bunches. After the last season, it was the Gold League that rated as the world's richest, with a Financial Power Index of 69.3. A crazy high number, in retrospect, that will stand as the record for highest ever Financial Power Index recorded, until, of course, it is passed again. But the Gold League, while maintaining it's significant gap over the rest of the competition, could not maintain their top spot. Their FPI came down by 14 points, from 69.3 to 55.03. Of course, they are still 29 points ahead of the nation below them, which shows how much money really flows in this league. And it showed how much money really flowed in this league during the 22nd transfer window, since the removal of that data has led to their downfall from the top spot, just barely behind the Nepharim Premiership.

Euran clubs have spent almost $450 million across the last three windows. But in spending that money, they are spending significant sums per player as well. They have a very healthy average of almost $6.5 million per player bought. In comparsion, Vatan Ercetin. the BSL Silver Boot winner who finished 3rd in MVP voting, was purchased for $6.5 million by Jinja City. So their clubs are spending significant amounts per player. Heck, even the lowest recorded transfer in the UICA that was not free was a $2 million fee- not even any transfer fees below that amount. 6 different purchases by Gold League clubs were for 8 figure amounts, and those were by five different clubs. The Revolutionaries led the way in this transfer window, spending $12 million on Starling striker Konrad Lovelace and then $14 million on Ko-orenite attacking midfielder Maximilien Longchambon.

And yet , the Gold League's leading side in the Dwile Invitational bucked the trend. Bastion did not spend any money during the transfer window- and, to the best of our knowledge, did not really traverse the international transfer market at all. But no matter- Bastion manager Robin Hjik did not need to spend a bunch of money this transfer window to be successful. They entered the Dwile Invitational in the first preliminary round, and not only won a pair of two-legged ties to get to the group stage, they won their group and went the furthest out of any Euran club, reaching the semifinals of the competition. That's how it goes sometimes, eh? Everybody else spends big bucks to change their squad, while they stayed pat and still did all kinds of damage. It just goes to show- you cannot buy success, right?

#1: Nephara(NPH). Top Flight: Nepharim Premiership. Financial Power Index: 56.31
Total Spending: $600 million. Average Purchase: $5.26 million. Median Purchase: $2.5 million. Total Sales: $430.18 million.

And now, for the Nepharim Premiership. Their FPI went up by 2 points- from just above 54, to just above 56. Not much, considering how high their ranking is. But it was enough for them to claim the prestigious title as the richest league in club football. Of course, to the victors go the spoils. Clubs from the Nepharim Premiership have the reputation of being the most active on the transfer window, so it is no surprise that they continue to lead in both total spending and total sales, with Premiership clubs spending a staggering $600 million NSDs across the last 3 windows. Of course, their numbers are propped up by Window 23's $65 million NSD purchase of Bryger Tidesson of Cosumar. But it all holds up. There were over 50 purchases by clubs in Nephara during this past window, and the amount of clubs that invested in foreign scouts and brought players from all over the multiverse just shows the league's financial scouts.

Of course, their position at the top cannot really be argued. What is the main difference between this season and last season? Well, of course, their average purchase has continued to climb, going up by a quarter of a million per purchase- showing the amount that Premiership clubs are putting into new players. Although they did not break any records with 8 figure purchases, they had a singificant amount of purchases worth over $7 million NSDs- showing that clubs from all across their spectrum are capable of spending cash. The financial power of the Nepharim Premiership has never been doubted. But for investors? This league will generate the bang for your buck. The Premiership ranks as the #1 league on the field, as well as in the board room, both in the UICA rankings and as shown in the Dwile Invitaitional, when two Premiership sides, Starling and Brinemouth, met in the Dwile Invitational final.

And now, of course, we have ranked each and every league that have made at least one purchase the last 3 seasons! Stay tuned for part 3, which will be coming to you soon.

After undergoing consideration, Liga Supre has decided to also submit their teams into the Liga dos Vencedores and the Copa das Confederações for this season, as the break-year football tournament that they underwent did not have a crowded schedule like normal season now do.

However, Liga Supre have realised that participating in both competitions starting from next season would provide both an unfairly large revenue stream to larger clubs (as they will be participating in 3 international footballing competitions) and would also overcrowd the schedules of these teams, making it difficult to schedule their own season.

It is for this reason as to why Liga Supre will look into their options for next season and determine which competition would be the most beneficial for their clubs to participate in.

NS Baranillian Football Season 3 - Liga Supre Season 1:

Introduction
This season for Baranillian football oversaw it merge with the much smaller football league of Wara-Salas, which was promptly met with laughter from the Baranillian audience. This laughter was enhanced when it was announced that ten Wara-Salassian teams would join with the ten Liga Baranil teams to form the “Liga Supre” as how could a nation that has only two professional teams compete with a nation of 5.3 million huge football fans?

The Wara-Salassi Football Championship failed to become one of the four foreign football leagues with a large viewership in Baranil last season as it was low quality and uncompetitive with Sczenaspor winning eleven titles, Obadirspor winning six and Cimbonom winning a single title whilst none of the other seventeen Liga 1 eligible teams lifting the Liga 1 title.

This was known by the Baranillian Football Association and Wara-Salassi Football Federation and was a primary reason for the merger – so that Sczenaspor and Obadirspor would be challenged.

Another reason for the merger is the previously mentioned lack of interest in Wara-Salassi football in Baranil as almost every Baranillian’s favourite foreign team lied in either Liga Eraman (61%), Liga 2 Eraman (4%), the Seraxinbourghian National Premier League (16%), or Élite League One (18%) with Wara-Salas having the favourite foreign football team for only 0.7% of Baranillians. The Wara-Salassi Football Federation had hoped that the extra money made from the Baranillian supporters and the extra games that their teams will play will help a third team (most likely Crnospor) go professional and make Wara-Salassi football teams more appealing for people to cheer for. (Statistics were accurate as of the middle of last season, Liga Eraman will be even larger than Liga 2 Eraman now due to the promotion of Royal Cittapura.)

With shirts of foreign football teams decorating Baranil’s population when their favourite team isn’t playing (as wearing the shirt of a Baranillian football team in public would likely start an argument or even a fight), this mergence will hopefully also help sell Wara-Salassi football shirts to Baranillians and boost the revenue for their clubs whilst Baranillian teams will almost certainly take what used to be Wara-Salas’ third Globe Cup slot and Wara-Salas’ third SBCC slot along with the associations getting six CMFA Champions League spaces between them now their leagues have merged instead of eight (though that will likely not affect Baranillian teams) along with how Baranillian teams, especially in the inaugural Liga Supre, are projected to kick the living daylights out of Wara-Salas’ teams and suddenly Baranil having to share their Cygnus Cup spot and the extra revenue for Wara-Salas’ clubs looks fair.

Mordov Rogak is the favourites to win the league with Sparta Kuban, Dynamo Vodvok, Lokomotiv Kuban, Sczenaspor and Obadirspor expected to accompany the Lizards to the CMFA Champions League whilst UFA, Prsicornom, Eitrinom and Oenospor are projected to get relegated with Saitamaspor expected to narrowly avoid the drop this season

Zenit Kuban qualified for the Vilitan Cove Invitational due to them being the highest placed team who failed to qualify for the Globe Cup/Champions Cup.

As predicted, the Baranillian teams ran riot on the Wara-Salassi teams during the inaugural Liga Supre season with all 4 relegated teams coming from Wara-Salas and Baranil claiming the maximum allowance of Globe Cup spots.

In a shock upset however, Sparta Kuban's new manager Vladmir Czenko helped them glide to 101 points which allowed them to win the league 4 points ahead of runners-up and the bookies favourites by a mile - Mordov Rogak.

The final team who achieved over 90 points this season was Lokomotiv Kuban who came in 3rd place with an impressive 93 points coming from the 30 wins and 3 draws that they achieved during the 38 game season.

At the other end of the table were Saitamaspor and Eitrinom, who both achieved over 30 defeats with Saitamaspor going winless for the entire year and only picking up 5 draws which has lead to discussions as to whether or not they should even be allowed to compete in the Liga Adalante next season or whether they should be relegated two tiers to give them a chance of winning a few games.

Tiers 2 to 4
Liga Adalante was much more competitive than Liga Supre between Baranillian and Wara-Salassi teams as 2 Wara-Salassi teams managed to claim a promotion place into Liga Supre and Wara-Salassi teams managing to claim half of the SBCC places though on the flip side they did claim 2/3 relegation places.

Procedural Note: The Requests for Invitation from Cosumar, Eastfield Lodge, Ethane, the Crystal Empire and the Equestrian States were accepted despite not being submitted with the appropriate letterhead. The late-arriving submission for consideration from the Football Association of Damukuni was accepted only due to the substantive bribe that accompanied it. The invitational committee also acknowledged the interest from the Baranillian Confederation who have since requested their consideration be re-considered for the 6th Vilitan Cove Invitational, which it may. Any other associations applying for an invitation whose applications were sent by drunk Cocoabo, intercepted by Darth Starblayder's goons, lost in a high-stakes Nationstates Trading Card game or otherwise not received were not extended an invitation to compete. FC Tavernia was extended an invitation as defending champions per the competition charter. Despite their proximity to the tournament, defending Runner-Up Rammsissil were not invited due to their participation in the UICA Champions Cup.

The Vilitan Cove Invitational is an International Club Competition. Designed to allow clubs who have not already qualified for a major international club competition (UICA; IFCF; Cygnus Cup) a chance to compete on the international stage. The Invitational is designed as a Fair Play competition, however an association may set any sporting criteria by which to determine which team will be permitted to apply to the competition. The Vilitan Cove Invitational Committee reserves the right to change the competition entry criteria at any point.

Not all applicants are guaranteed invitation into the competition, particularly in the event more than 32 associations apply for consideration.

The format of the competition is a Fixed Bracket Knockout. All pairings prior to the Semi-Final stage will be two-legged home and away aggregate knockout rounds.
The "Away Goals" rule will not apply. Any match which is level on aggregate at the conclusion of full time during the second leg will immediately proceed to an extra time period. There will be no silver or golden goal scenario, and a full 30 minute extra time period would be contested. If the scores are still level, a penalty shootout will be employed to determine which team advances.

Semi-Final and Final stages will each be a single knockout match at a selected location in the Vilitan Cove region.

The second round saw the inclusion of the top 8 Super League teams at this stage, with the shock of the round coming from Tutunspor's shock victory over league champions Manat FK, winning in both legs by a narrow score of 2-1. Tashkentspor easily dispatched their lesser opponents in Havacilik Isciler by an aggregate score of 12-0. Hisar demolished their former Super League opponents in IFT 8-2 in the aggregate score, while Uryanspor managed to sneak by Sekerspor who put up a good fight against their Super League foes. The most entertaining tie came between DMT and Haftaspor, who put up a strong effort to claw back a 6-0 first leg deficit with a 3-0 win that ultimately left them short.

Bakir FK would be the team from Uryan who make it the furthest in the competition as they overcame Super League strugglers Urukspor and Uryanspor fell to Hisar 6-5 over both legs. DBFT narrowly overcame their Super League rivals 1-0, needing the second leg to separate both teams. Goynuk SB's good run has come to an end with Tarim Isciler moving onto the quarter finals on away goals. Elektriklestirmespor needed to go to Caykur Denizspor to ensure their victory, their 4-1 win away from home securing a convincing 5-2 aggregate win. Taskhentspor and Almat needed away goals to determine the winner in their contest with Tashkentspor being the beneficiary after an epic 6-6 aggregate draw. Tanrispor saw off Demirspor 3-1 over both legs, their 3-0 win at home seeing them more than comfortably through. DMT ran Tutunspor close in the first leg, only losing out by one goal, but the 3-1 defeat in the return leg saw Tutunspor's run continue with a 7-4 aggregate win.

Tutunspor 7-2 Tanrispor (10-3 agg)

Bakir FK's strong run came to a crushing end as Hisar saw them off decisively in both matches, coming out 9-1 victors over both legs. DBFT put an end to Tarim Isciler's run as well, a 6-1 aggregate win showing the gulf in class between the sides. Tashkentspor utterly crushed Elektriklestirmespor 8-1 over both legs. A shock would come however, as Tutunspor would show why they're favoured for promotion from the Workers League with a comfortable 10-3 aggregate victory over Tanrispor.

Hisar FK 1-0 Devlet-Bira Fabrika Takimi (1-0 agg)
Devlet-Bira Fabrika Takimi 1-1 Hisar FK (1-2 agg)

Tashkentspor 7-3 Tutunspor (7-3 agg)
Tutunspor 0-3 Tashkentspor (3-10 agg)

It was a tale of two semi finals, with one that was competitive and a battle throughout and another that was a decisive victory that was never really in doubt. DBFT would fall at this hurdle before Hisar who would be going on to face holders Tashkentspor who had totally seen off their Workers League opponents 10-3 over both legs.

Hisar FK 1-1 Tashkentspor (2-1 AET)
Yusuf Akman (31) Eichi Fujiwara (109);Mehmet Karaman (43)

The final would require extra time to separate the two sides, with Hisar drawing first blood, Yusuf Akman scoring an excellently placed goal. Mehmet Karaman would strike back for the holders in 12 minutes, his header proving beyond the ability of the goalkeeper to handle. The decisive goal would come from a corner Eichi Fujiwara scoring from a towering header from a corner securing Hisar their first ever Vizier's Cup title and bringing it to the capital for the first time in its history.

Cutoff for the first cycle of competitions of the International Federation of Club Football (IFCF) will be Wednesday 8th January 2020 at 23:59 UTC(+0).

This is the cutoff for the IFCF Champions League (successor to the UICA Champions Cup), the IFCF Challenger's Cup (successor to the UICA Globe Cup), IFCF Liga B Champions Trophy (successor to the UICA SBCC), IFCF Rising Stars Cup (successor to the UICA Youth Cup), the IFCF Super Cup (successor of the UICA Super Cup) and the IFCF Cup Winners Cup (continuation of the Cygnus/Cup Winners Cup).

All entries since the last cycle of UICA competition will be counted, with the latest set if multiple sets of entries were submitted, regardless of UICA/IFCF header. Entries relating to the Dwile Invitational will be converted to IFCF entries as appropriate, with invites sent out to teams qualifying on sporting merit. Allocations will be the same as UICA for this cycle (youth league champions, 3 Challengers and Liga B entrants, 1-4 Champions League entrants as per the bottom of the last UICA post. Same principle applies to final site bids for these competitions.

Hosts:
IFCF Champions League: Apox
IFCF Challenger's Cup: Banija
IFCF Liga B Champions Trophy: Equestrian States
IFCF Rising Stars Cup: Kita-Hinode
IFCF Cup Winners Cup: Valanora
Standby/IFCF Super Cup: Eastfield Lodge

Since the completion of UICA cycle 73, three seasons of domestic football have taken place in Zwangzug; season 26 (found on page 282) produced our qualifiers for the Dwile Invitational Tournament. After brief internal bickering at the association, we have decided to skip season 27 for the purposes of international qualification, and submit qualifiers to the IFCF based solely on the results of season 28, which can be found here. For some reason, possibly due to the upheaval, we forgot to mention which non-top-five team was the best in the Cereal Cup, but we looked it up and it's totally the Rovers, surprise!

Zwangzug (ZWZ) qualifiers
IFCF Champions League: Keppal Cosmos, Bassabook Old Boys
IFCF Challengers Cup: Namiri Forest, Arlington City, Canbix Muses

Liga dos Vencedores: Keppal Cosmos, Bassabook Old Boys
Copa das Confederações: Namiri Forest

IUCC: Lanius University, University of Homler, 102d Polyteknik

VCIAPP: Rovers United (ZWZ)

Zwangzug (ZWZ) final site bids
Liga dos Vencedores: Pacific Field, Bassabook
Pacific Field is named after the five great regions where every nation begins its journey, as well as...like...the fact that peace is a good thing in the world.

IFCF Challengers Cup: Janaki Gardens, Guariday
There is a wide array of plant life growing outside and on the fringes of the stadium, while the grass is grown to whatever length encourages stultifyingly defensive play.

Nephara (NPH) final site bids
PROSPECTIVE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SITE: FARHAM ARENA
Image

Originally a sprawling, deeply unsafe neutral site for up to 120,000 to stand, renovations not long after Nephara joined UICA and the WCC shaved off capacity in favour of safe standing and modern amenities. Granted, that was decades back by now, so now the Arena is somewhat vintage again. It is now occupied by Sabrefell Moths, who fled the crumbling ruins of Gargoyles' Court, but still hosts all Cup finals and the biggest national team matches.

Today, the Farham Arena - named for Joan Farham, the first, pre-WCC-era captain of the Cormorants and champion of players' rights - stands as a prestigious cauldron of sound and fury, right in the heart of Nephara's largest city. It has a proven record of hosting big occasions, and will prove a fitting venue for the pinnacle of the club game.

Tropicorp Announcement on Future of Tropicorp Super Cup

Postby Vilita » Thu Jan 02, 2020 9:18 pm

Tropicorp prepares Super Cup expansion

Tropicorp Park, Tropicoast, Tropicorp :: With much of the internationstatal domestic football scene having recently gone through a period of uncertainty due to a transition of operations from their traditional headquarters in Aeropag, Tropicorp have doubled down on their long-standing partnership with the Super Cup competition by announcing that not only would the Super Cup be continuing for a 71st edition, but that the competition would expand from three teams to six for the first time.

Traditionally the Super Cup has seen the winners of the Champions Cup, Globe Cup and Series-B Champions Cup competitions in a single group stage with the champion being the team with the best record over the three game tournament. While further details have not yet been formally announced, it is believed that Tropicorp officials are considering two different formats for the 71st Super Cup competition which will also be the 20th sponsored by Tropicorp; the longest continued running relationship for any internationstatal domestic competition outside of TakilQuip's sponsorship of the Champions Cup.

Traditionally the Super Cup has involved the winners of the UICA Champions Cup, UICA Globe Cup and UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup competitions. While UICA had since expanded to include a Youth competition, the champions of the UICA Youth Cup were never previously included in the Super Cup.
Image

That will now change under Tropicorp's stewardship of the competition as the Super Cup will be expanded to include not only the Youth Cup champions but also the winners of the Cup Winners Cup and the Vilitan Cove Invitational.

The Nominal plan for the expanded Tropicorp Super Cup competition will see the 'traditional' Super Cup group consisting of the Champions Cup, Globe Cup and Series 'B' Cup winners contesting a single round robin in Aeropag while the 'new' Super Cup group consisting of the Youth Cup, Cup Winners Cup and Invitational Cup winners contesting a single round robin in a rotating location selected by the Tropicorp Super Cup committee.

Following the conclusion of the two group phases, the winner of each group will contest a final match at Tropicorp Park in Tropicoast to crown the champion of the Tropicorp Super Cup.

Tropicorp's stewardship of the Super Cup from the Union of International Club Associations in Aeropag has been unable to continue its oversight of the internationstatal domestic football domain. A new organization, the International Federation of Club Football has been formed to provide oversight over successor competitions to those formerly operated under UICA. Per the IFCF charter, only successor tournaments to the UICA Champions Cup, UICA Globe Cup, UICA Series B Champions Cup and UICA Youth Cup will be controlled by the new organization and be referred to as the IFCF Champions League, IFCF Challenger's Cup, IFCF League B Champions Trophy and IFCF Rising Stars Cup respectively. The winners of those successor competitions as formalized in the IFCF charter as the would be invited to participate in the Tropicorp Super Cup at the equivalent level as their UICA predecessor competition. When contested it will be the culmination of years of negotiations between Tropicorp and UICA regarding the transfer of the competition from Aeropag.

Tropicorp's announcement of stewardship over the Super Cup competition leaves only the Cup Winners Cup in limbo for the upcoming domestic cycle. While the Cup Winners Cup is unaffected by the issues currently facing the Union of International Club Associations, it has faced even greater turmoil as its sanctioning body had collapsed entirely making an orderly transition of events even more difficult for any organizing committee. It has been rumored that the entry criteria for the Vilitan Cove Invitational could be adjusted such that it would become a competition solely for Cup Winners in lieu of allowing domestic federations to define their own entry criteria. In this case it is unclear whether both editions of the VCI would be contested. If the CWC and the VCI were merged into a single competition, however, Tropicorp would alter the format of the Super Cup to a tiered group competition with five teams instead of six.

In the alternate format, the first group phase would include the winners of the IFCF Rising Stars Cup, the Vilitan Cove Cup Winners Invitational and the IFCF League B Champions Trophy. The winner of that group would advance to the final group where they would contest a round robin against the IFCF Champions League and IFCF Challengers Cup winners.

No matter what format the competition ultimately takes, Tropicorp officials remain fully committed to their continued involvement and stewardship of the Super Cup.
