Campionato di Juvencus

The Campionato di Juvencus has drawn to an end to a very exciting year of football in Juvencus. Every single team in the top 5 was close to the top of the competition with U.S Remeno holding the lead for most of the time. However a U.S Remeno flop led to eventual champions AC Pomena to take the lead in the last few matches.

Season 4
2018-2019

Association Football came along with human life in Coldfield. The first clubs were formed by 1910; there were already several clubs, mainly teams formed by students; most of these teams were extinct, and only notable teams such Franktown Academy and Crownsville Academics survived to this day. Football was always popular, but initially, it was restricted to white Christian men - the barrier was overturned in 1976. Professionalization took place in 1960, but national championships such as the Hildred Cup existed since the 1940s. At that time the players' salaries were paid with donations made by the club's fans and also by governmental incentive, which paid them a fair salary according to the performance of each athlete. Stadiums were built by the government in proportion to the club performance and number of supporters.

The first national league was organized in the 1968-69 season. The best 16 teams from the three regional leagues of 1968 (Centre, North, and South) took part. The format was used until the conception of League Two around 1971; In the new format three worst clubs of League One were demoted to League Two; The top three in League Two were promoted to League One; The three worst of League Two would not participate next season; And the top three regional teams that do not participate in any national league were promoted to League Two. By 1973 Crownsville Central was the first club to have its shirt sponsored.

The format was in use prior to the creation of League Three in 1985. In the new championship, 32 clubs would fight for 3 places in League Two next season; League Three's three worst teams would be downgraded to the newly formed Conferences. In 1999 the round-robin system was established in the first and second divisions and also in the conferences; The third division continued with the old formula.

In 2005 the abolition of regional leagues led to the creation of new Conferences so that all professional and semi-professional football clubs could be part of the National Pyramid.

Season 55
2012

Brought by English immigrants in the 1880s, until 1930 association football was the sport for the elite; The players in their overwhelming majority were white and wealthy men, and the clubs represented universities, European immigrants, and wealthy families.

But in 1934 the sport finally reached the other layers of Brazilian society and in 1950 most skilled athletes came straight from poverty and misery. Clubs quickly became "people's property" and athletes' salaries were paid with ticket profit and donations from club fans. The stadiums, however, were all built by the state. The first national competition happened in 1958 and was constituted by the regional champions and vice-champions of the same year. The format persisted until 1972 when the second division was added. However, it was not carried out for the next 10 years due to the instability of the national football regulations, which changed radically with each new season. The regulation continued its instability until the year 2000 when the national sports council met in the capital of the country and voted definitively in the format that would be used indefinitely for the next few years. In 2009 the council met again, and they voted for a new competition system for the second and first divisions; the round-robin format were chosen for the 2010 season onwards.

Regional leagues are a part of the country's life and culture. Annually, the best regional teams that are not on any level of the national football pyramid play home-and-away playoffs; The semi-finalists are automatically qualified for the third division of the following season. Clubs are rich and stable, especially those in the Southeast and East regions of the country and the economic disparity between the First and the Second Division is huge. Usually smaller clubs don't last more than two seasons in Division One, however, regardless of the team's region and origin, their fans and players defend their passion and work with as much force as possible.

Capacity: 375,000
Home to the Second Empire national team, it has hosted the Global Cup of Soccer 3 final where Pridnestrovia defeated Rhineland Sued 3-1. No league club plays in the stadium and maximum neutrality is guaranteed. Construction began in 2006 and finished in 2011. Created to be a memorial of the Third World War, it yearly hosts the Supercup and international friendlies; from 2013 onwards the stadium will also host the Domestic Cup final. Located in the Olympic Center, just behind the Winter Royal Palace and artificial lake Paranoá, Horizon Stadium is surrounded by hotels, various parking lots and metro stations. Transportation to the Stadium is easy and cheap. Built to comply with UICA standards, the stadium is extremely modern despite its old-fashioned appearance resembling pre-second world war architecture and has large internet coverage, free snacks & bottled water, and many toilets.

Fears of Osarian football exile growing

In the wake of what has been unanimously termed a footballing crisis within the Osarian Football Association (OFA), calls to return the Osarian football league system to isolation have grown in volume. This is not a new strategy for the nation, having seen it happen once before, arguably leading to the period of the greatest success in the nation's history. "It's not about saying 'we don't want to associate with you' but rather 'we need to focus on us for a while'," explained Serenity Lewis, the OFA's Head of Player Development. "We have the talent here, but something isn't clicking, and we can't figure it out if we're trying to kludge together a group of players who are accustomed to vastly different styles of play."

Some high profile players have expressed concerns that they will miss out on the chance to play at the highest level of club competition if they remain in Osarius, and are quietly seeking moves abroad. It is likely some would even consider repatriation to earn a move to a stronger, foreign league, if the OFA persist in their plans to cut the Firebirds out of UICA competitions. Serenity Lewis, despite publicly supporting the notion of self-imposed exile, has been rumoured to privately favour remaining involved in UICA competition and has lamented Osarius' absence last cycle. "I think Serenity is concerned about possibly stunting the developmental league, which is her baby, really," a source tells us. "She's well aware that having under-19 sides playing against their counterparts from all over the multiverse is beneficial. It seems like she's only going with the plan because it will give her the chance to really push the next steps in the OFA's player developmental plan."

The Player Developmental Plan (PDP) was implemented almost twenty years ago, and based heavily on the footballing philosophies of Osarius coaching greats Alain Montblanc and Hugh Collingwood. Lewis has pushed further and drove the implementation of a fully-competitive developmental league in Osarius. Her next idea is to establish a set playing style through all levels of the national setup -- which was an original aim of the PDP; though it was lost in the OFA's dogmatic adherence to Suzakudo -- which she believes will help to rebuild the national team's prestige on the international stage. "Serenity knows better than anyone that what we, as a nation, were known for in the past, just isn't true anymore," explains Ayanna Barca-Carthy. "We don't have the same number of dynamic midfield runners in the mould of her, or her father, or Roque Acosta, for example. We don't have the same number of lethal, pacy forwards as we once did. The traditional values of Osarian football have been eroded away to an extent. And I think Serenity is heavily invested, emotionally, in bringing them back."

In addition to Osarian players considering moves overseas, many of the foreign nationals currently plying their trade in Osarius are said to be concerned about their status in the nation should the league go into isolation. They have been assured that the league will still be contested, and they will still have employment, but for many, the move to Osarius was predicated on the fact that they would be playing in a strong league with a respectable standing in the UICA coefficients. "I suspect some foreign nationals will want to return home, or move to other strong leagues, just to be on the safe side. Even though we can't be certain the OFA will actually go ahead with the exile." A league pundit speculates. "It's not great for the fans, and they're who I feel for most. But it might be necessary."

OOC: I'll be periodically checking in on the transfer sheet, so feel free to make offers for any of my national team players, or to get your own players out of Osarius. I'll respond as soon as I can.

There may or may not be an exile-- basically depends on whether I can find the time this weekend to run my league tbh --- so it's up to you. If they're your player, feel free to assume the selling club accepts every bid. Honestly, it's not likely I'll be running my league in time for the UICA cutoff though, so I totally get it if you want your players out of my leagues.

If I have time, I'll try and put some blurbs up for national team players. No promises.

If you need to ask me about anything, I'm on and off Discord all day at work, and try to check my TGs once a day.

UPL Cycle 68, Season Review
By Brian Gilksson

After all of the drama and all of the craziness, football season in Gallia has finally come to a close, with all of the goals and the saves and the assists and the magical moments forming together to give us one thing: a new champion, one that hasn’t taken the throne for a good while. This is the story of the season, and the rise of the team that everyone thought was dead in the water: Hallenburg City.

Hallenburg City suffered a rocky start under manager Ollie Safley, whose youth and inexperience proved to be too much for a major job in a major city like Hallenburg, with demanding fans and a long standing tradition of being the giants in the north. Daryn Malcomb’s age also showed this season, forcing the younger Leo Gillie to take the reigns at times as the main striker, earlier than the club had planned. And they didn’t have much in the back, either, with fullback Callan Bannerman showing that he was their best defensive player, and not one of their central defenders. But Theo Clowney replacing Ollie Safley sparked a change that kicked Hallenburg City into overdrive, sending them to the top of the table from their spot where they had been stuck for so long, hovering between fifth and third.

Clowney’s fast paced attack didn’t work at Lindon United this season despite having access to stars such as Shaun Vint, who would go down with an injury, and Noah McCaskey, who had up and down form during the season. But United looked bad writing him off completely, because they would finish all the way in sixth place while Hallenburg City actually moved up the table to win the league. Part of the reason? Their new 4-3-3 attack, which featured Leo Gillie as the main piece, Daryn Malcomb as a winger who could also act as a secondary striker, and rising twenty three year old Conor Corse, who stepped in at the right wing position after Clowney joined the club as manager. The team would go on to lose their last meeting of the season with New West Gallia FC, which took place on the final matchday, but it didn’t matter.

They’d already clinched the title, and they celebrated it on their home turf in front of their fanbase that had stood with them through everything, the ups and the downs and the lows of the recent years compared to their historical status as a power in the Gallian Union. Meanwhile, the feeling in New West Gallia was that everyone was absolutely crushed. Despite the many heroics from stars such as Hannah Kinloch and Ennis Leishman, the team had fallen short again. Choked even. Their traveling fans weren’t applauding them when they left the stadium, and when they returned to the city, the atmosphere was somber, not jovial.

“I want to say that everything is fine, I really do. The truth is, we got our hearts ripped out in the last few weeks of the season, letting City take the lead and not taking it back. I can’t congratulate them on their title because really, we hate those guys. We don’t like their city. Don’t like their accent. They’re taking everything we’ve worked for, and the only thing I can say is that I hope we get our revenge next season. The city of New West Gallia deserves it, after all,” said Hannah Kinloch, speaking to reporters shortly after the season ending victory. “I hope I’ll be here next season to see it and be a part of it. But know that whatever happens, I won’t be going to Hallenburg after this. I would never betray the honor of New West Gallia and of my teammates like that.”

Spartans finished in third despite a bad start, and that’s about where they were expected to go. Manager Ariana Kellie wasn’t happy with the result, however, speaking to the press about it and saying that they blew their chances to win the title: “The top teams were unstable this season because of the rise of Gallian Telecom and the sudden resurgence of New West Gallia FC. City started badly and we had a chance to step on their throats and not let up the pressure, but we somehow did. Lindon United never quite recovered but they scrapped their way into the top ten after they took one of our assistants. Alex was great but one man doesn’t make an attack, unfortunately, and that wasn’t a good area for us. I think Ellie Graham was good, but her inexperience really showed at times. We had our chances, but third place is third place, and we’ll thoroughly enjoy our second trip to the Globe Cup.”

UPL Blackmont had possibly the most surprising season out of any club as they capitalized on the chaos that was mentioned above, moving into fourth place and beating out Gallian Telecom on goal differential in the standings. Their inexpensive squad operated using Blackmont youth products who were well drilled and more disciplined than the competition, taking advantage of more reckless teams and tearing them apart will well timed defending and counter attacks.

And then there’s Gallian Telecom, the club that started strong and fell short near the end of the season, finishing with too many losses to really be successful long term. Their hot form was led by one man, Artem Delacruz. Delacruz came over from Bojikstan and quickly became a top scorer, ending the season with 28 goals and 6 assists to record a career high. If it wasn’t for the phenomenal Hannah Kinloch, he would have been the top scorer in the league. But they were one dimensional, they didn’t have much of a midfield outside of Brice Sime, and they folded because of that and their lack of a proper defense.

Lindon United was stabilized from their absolutely terrible start to the season when interim manager Finley Shearer brought a little Spartans magic and made their training sessions much more intense and demanding of the star players, but Shaun Vint’s injury really kept them from bouncing back fully. The threat of Vint often forced teams to game plan around him, and without him there, they couldn’t manage a better result than a bad sixth place, an absolute disaster by their standards. “I want to die,” said Blackmontese winger Arlo Lauder after the season concluded. “There’s no way to come back from this. Our legacy is in shambles even though we went undefeated last season.”

He might be right, but United fans found something good in Shearer, and as soon as the season was over, the club inked him to a four year extension and gave him the keys to the kingdom, telling him to chase the players in the transfer market that he thinks will improve their chances of returning to their usual status.

Meanwhile, AFC Lochtown did well enough to finish in tenth, but two teams are now owned by the league one hundred percent, as their investors pull out. Lochtown and Aberton are in that position, and there’s talks of the Aberton Jets being rebranded and pushed by the league, while Lochtown would retain their traditional identity and receive new investors. Both scenarios present a power shift at the mid table and bottom table for next season, but both scenarios also haven’t been commented on by the league offices...

BeyondLinks: official Blatter account of Kerlagrad Courier Sports!

So after what is certainly the closest race yet, Namiri Forest emerge on top, edging out their cross-district rivals and Trink. A dazed Spenson will settle for fourth, and Bassabook hold off the pack to take fifth.

Eh that's fine then, I needed my heart rate to come down.

Stoppage time? Anyone?

Perspective, always a good thing.

RB She's playing in the 1./

And, uh, Chloe Prental just scored again, so Kim Higden is probably having a worse day than you.

...Hugo Nimbue has just scored a hat trick inside of three minutes and you have to think that's the end of Spenson's preposterous title race.

Kiri Ashivli scored again for Slogda to make me look stupid and I don't caaaaaare...

Nimbue strikes again! And all of a sudden Spenson are losing outright and a full point back...

Ouch. The ever-dangerous Hugo Nimbue has scored for Cham, and Spenson are a half-point back again.

I'm on the edge of my seat here. No takilan conspiracy here either--Forest are all-out defenders; Independent and Spenson two balanced teams, and Trink rather attacking-minded.

Shehla Jethava pulls them ahead against Keppal and now we have *four teams on nineteen points*. This is wonderful madness.

Actually I'm not sure if he's even in the game, Arlington might be playing their backups, as much as Esper might be annoyed. I'm not even going to look that up because INDEPENDENT JUST SCORED!

Mark Bryant of Arlington also trying to disqualify himself from goalkeeeper consideration at the last minute (hour?), conceding a fourth goal to Terrence Montague.

Ohhh this just got very interesting. (More so than it already was.) Solveig Henson-Quar scores for 102d, against Namiri Forest. They're still first, but we have a three-way tie on nineteen points! Will anyone crack?

I guess you could maybe see a (1)-3-5-2 someday or something like that, but I wouldn't expect it.

I get the feeling we'd be sticking with the midfield X for history's sake mostly. Probably defensive-minded overall, but that's also reflecting the league's culture. Given that, probably the same (1)-4-5-1?

RB I'd expect to see Tsuki on the national team this season. Any word on the formation?

Trink have equalized! Misako Tsuki, who has been quite the revelation for them this season, scores a blazing goal into the far wall to pull them back into third place.

Okay okay okay, Slogda can be decent, I get it. Moisey Krupin scores to take the lead against Twineur. Who even cares. Twineur aren't great.

Goal for...Mark Pengorski! Of Ephesian! It sends Trink down to fourth, three goals behind Independent.

Drovena proves he can score off *both* sorts of restarts and makes it 3-2 for Bassabook, whee. They lead for the first time today and rise to the fifth UICA spot.

Danilo Sabbia ties it up again. Arlington's leads have lasted a total of two minutes.

Not to be forgotten, Gretchen Bar-Lundquist of Arlington scores again to put them back ahead of Bassabook.

Boom! A beautiful left-footed shot from Izzy Flinder-Vond rockets Spenson into...second place, they're still a half-point behind Forest but two goals of difference ahead of Trink now.

Bit of a slow start, defenders cautiously feeling things out (and several clubs that aren't as relevant to the ongoing saga, let's be fair).

Okay, back underway now.

That's a bit cynical, I would guess it's "people who have won the league don't want to bother with one-off stints like this weird national team job." But you never know!

RB Do you think there's an aversion to picking managers who have actually won the league? Like, they don't want people to get too full of themselves?

I mean, you can't completely rely on GKs from defensive clubs, they don't learn to thrive under pressure? (In before can't live with 'em, etc.)

RB So, Kim Higden just took herself out of the running for reserve goalkeeper, yes?

Probably someone with national team experience. Harshit Mistry seems a natural leader; I worry about Turan Gul's ability in this area.

RB Who do you see as the next national team captain with Kyp-Sobol gone?

That brings us to halftime: it's Forest-Trink-Independent-Suburbia as things stand. I'll take a breather but be back to answer your questions!

And in the minute I took to look that up, Pietro Drovena tied it for Bassabook.

On the subject of fights, Alejandra Yoneda scores for Arlington City in Bassabook. Doesn't really help them, but...I'm wrong, Esper were already fifth thanks to their sizable GD lead over the Rovers, it looks like.

Jessica McAsterill ties it up for Spenson! Which, they're *still* still fourth, but every rally starts by people making a fight of it, right?

Dwayne Iscull-Chadwick scores for Twineur to tie them up against Slogda and...moving right along....

Spenson remain fourth, but now the top four are separated by a half-point each.

Savanna Angier scores for Trebuchet Cham, a blow to Spenson Suburbia's hopes (and ours for a tauter table up top).

And right off the restart Brienne Phealis-Host dribbles forward to make Kim Higden look woefully out of position. 3-0 Robins.

Leslie Corrigan evades the Rovers' crowded midfield to unleash a long goal and make it 2-0 to Sporting Esper.

Wilmik scores again on a header, Slogda pull ahead against Twineur. Okay, so they occasionally have some skill left.

Here we go! Mafizuddin Thakura scores for Namiri Forest (in 102d), and that will lift them to first outright, half a point ahead of Trink. Huge goal.

Marvin Wilmik ties it up for Slogda, guess we shouldn't count them out yet.

Elena Jacoby-Carter scores for Canbix against FTC United, against the run of play. The Oxen have been terrible this year although the Muses have not been much better; this might be a "schedule this one for the last day when we're watching the title race" game.

The defending champions really fell apart this season. Maybe just age? Eugene Kyp-Sobol has retired and that can't be helping.

Patrick Wentworth-Eyrie with a nice cross to Glen Tiskra, who converts it for a goal for the Twineur Bugs against Excelsior Slogda.

We've been joking about that for years, and I think it's likely, but you never know. Forest still have the edge on Trink, so don't speak too soon!

RB So if a more offensive team edges out a less offensive one on GD for the title do you think we'll finally see a new system implemented?

They would still need Arlington to beat Bassabook in order to pass the Rovers for fifth, I think? But this should help with the tiebreakers and everything.

And Sporting Esper waste no time, scoring off a goal from Chloe Prental to take the lead against Rovers United. (The Robins are at home, and hanging in there for a Globe Cup spot.)

Plus all the names from lower-table sides looking to play their way onto the Eagle's Cup 7 side. Lots to take in, so let's kick it off!

Independent clung to a slim lead for the last third or so; there was plenty of fluctuation before that, with teams like Keppal Cosmos who have now dropped off the pace briefly flirting with the limelight.

Namiri Independent and Spenson Suburbia are half a point back. Only Independent play at home; the others are all travelling this week (against different sides), so it's anyone's game. Two more teams are within a point of the Rovers for fifth, as well!

Hello, and welcome to what should be a thrilling final day of this twenty-first season! Fortunately we have twice as many characters to fit it all in. Four squads remain in title contention; Namiri Forest and Eintracht Trink sit on 18.5 points.

Cascade Island Soccer Association
Sometimes, the best way to start over is to simply start over. That's what Cascade Island, home of the current legitimate government of 95X, decided to do by organizing the new local league first with the youth of each city. Cities on Cascade Island that already maintained a professional team entered their youth teams. Meanwhile, the others will begin fielding senior teams in later seasons.

The youth league had quite a parity in its brief first season, with the ten teams all finishing within six points of each other. X SC, a former mainland name that relocated to Cascade Island, would go on to win.
95X (NFX) Qualifiers
Champions' Cup: Millennium City, X SC
Globe Cup: Spatula City Utensils, Pacific City, University City
Youth Cup: X SC
Atlantian Oceania Champions League: Millennium City
95X (NFX) Final Site Bid
Series B Champions Cup/Youth Cup: Oceanside Stadium II (40,000), Oceanside, 95X

Known for years as "the House that Xi Foureleven Built" and now "The House Xi Foureleven Owns", the stadium has been updated inside and out while special care was taken in its player/team facilities and communications. For fans, the outdoor stadium boasts a widescreen videoboard and many amenities. The city itself is approximately three million and is in the running to become the new capital of Cascade Island and possibly the entire country. International visitors will enjoy expanded port and customs facilities designed to make entering and exiting faster, new hotels adjacent to the facility, and rail and bus links to the rest of the island.

2038-39 Darmeni Football Season: Season Review
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6

1, 2, 3... Champions Again!
Season Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts PPG Margin
2036-37 46 28 11 7 109 39 +70 95 2.07 +8
2037-38 30 19 7 4 52 25 +27 64 2.13 +4
2038-39 28 18 4 6 60 32 +28 58 2.07 +3
For the third season in a row, MTK Kingsville has once again claimed the championship, although fans of other teams will be quick to point out that their winning margin in the table has been shrinking each year. Nonetheless, they'll again be participating in the Champions' Cup. As Darmen's highest ranked club team, MTK Kingsville represents Darmen's best chance advance to a group stage of a UICA competition, something which has yet to happen since Darmen's return from a two decade hiatus three years ago.

Close... again
Finishing as runners-up for the first time after two seasons in third place, Sterling City United will return to the Globe Cup for the third time. While its first two campaigns in the competition ended in disapointing early stage exits, the club will be looking to chart a different path this UICA cycle. Like MTK Kingsville, Sterling City United will hope for nothing less than a group stage appearance in international club football's second-tier competition.

Once more... again (Again, again, again, stop it with the agains!)
After suffering a ninth place finish a season ago, Club Jim Falls will enter the Globe Cup for the second time. Goalkeeper Fiacre Knopp, despite having been dropped from consideration for selection to the national team, won the Goalkeeper of the Year Award after allowing only 28 goals in as many matches. Knopp will play a key role in Club Jim Falls upcoming season, although rumors abound that MTK Kingsville has prepared a bid for the 26 year old keeper to replace their ageing keeper Marcellus Ahenobarbus.

Debutants
IFK Liverpool United, after finishing 21st last season, shot up the table to finish fourth this season and earn its first birth into the Globe Cup. The main club of Darmen's second largest city, IFK Liverpool will certainly have a massive amount of support from fans at home matches as it takes the field against international competition.

Disappointment
Chippewa Valley United FC had a horrendous season, finishing fifteenth after a second place finish last season. The club's owner, Laoghaire Lestrange (rumored to be a wizard), has promised a major revamp of the club, firing the manager and promising to make major changes to the roster over the off season. Meanwhile, fans seem to want Lestrange himself to leave the club, and a group of local businessmen has prepared a bid to take over ownership of the club. We'll have to see what happens as the story unfolds.

Others
Rushmore United, Tim City United and the Haiti Border Dogs finished in the top three of Series B. Not only will they be competing in Series A next season, but they'll also be competing internationally in the Series B Champions' Cup. Both Rushmore United and the Border Dogs benefited from the mergers which created them in the offseason, while Tim City United was a surprise Series B Quarterfinalist. Tempala United Saints, who finished sixth and narrowly missed out on their second appearance in the Globe Cup, did manage to defeat OGC Nauti in the National Cup Final, and will represent Darmen in the Cygnus Cup. And finally, just like MTK Kingsville, Royal PFC U-19 won the Youth League for the third time running. Unlike MTK Kingsville, Royal PFC U-19's winning margin in the Youth League table has been growing, from a single point in the 36-37 season to seven this season. All in all, it looks like a solid group of clubs that will represent Darmen in UICA, Rushmori and Cygnus Cup competition.

Darmen (DAR) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup: MTK Kingsville
Globe Cup: Sterling City United, Club Jim Falls, IFK Liverpool United
Series B Champions' Cup: Rushmore United, Tim City United, Haiti Border Dogs
Youth Cup: Royal PFC U-19

Copa de Campeones: MTK Kingsville
Cygnus Cup: Tempala United Saints

Darmen (DAR) final site bids
Series B Champions' Cup: Tyger Stadium, Darmen City (capacity 39,000
Home to Darmen City United, Tyger Stadium has played host to numerous All Greens matches, and several in a different sport, hosting Group Stage and Round of Sixteen matches in the 12th Rugby League World Cup. The stadium, like many others in Darmen, is reaching an age at which updates will be needed. Hosting a UICA final (and the additional Youth Cup matches to boot) would go a long way towards persuading the Local Government Authority to approve the necessary funding for that much needed upgrade.

Copa de Campeones: Stadio Rushmore, Johnho (capacity 70,000)
If at first you don't succeed, try again! Or something like that. Stadio Rushmore previously hosted the final of the Ninth Copa Rushmori, and remains one of the premier stadiums in Darmen following a recent update.

Cygnus Cup: King's Park, Scott City (capacity 35,000)
With the bid submitted this time on ink-spill proof paper, to avoid any unfortunate accidents, the home of Royal PFC (and Scott City FC through a groundshare agreement while Scott City FC builds a new stadium) will attempt once more to host the final of the Cygnus Cup. If selected as host, it has been confirmed that Scott City will organize a Festival of Football History to run in tandem with the main event.

1907: Titanes
1908: Phoenixux
1909: Titanes
1910: Titanes
1911: Panethokoi
1912: AE Knaxii

After two years of having to deal with other clubs taking what they believed to be theirs, including completely missing out on the CEdC last season, Titanes returned back to the top of the table and lifted their ninth title in fourteen seasons. Opportune scoring and a stout defensive line, which is the standard for any good Thalamascian outfit, was the key for Titanes as they were able to hold off the chase from Taiyou-Niséllion, Phoenixux, and Hermeticus to retake the title of Champions. Taiyou-Niséllion was able to defeat Hermeticus on the final day in order to overtake both them and Phoenixux to finish second and grab the other spot in the CEdC, though no one thinks that either them or Titanes will really be able to cause any sort of upset. Despite some initial success, the CEdC has not been kind to Thalamascian outfits the last three or so years and it is the fear of many that it is a very futile effort to continue to enter the competition, though others suggest that even those heavy defeats are good lessons for the national team players on those clubs. With the national team rising to somewhat prominence in the region, there might just be a bit of solid foundation in that sort of rationale, even if it makes for painful viewing for those clubs fans who do enter into the CEdC.
