From the FARF Chairman

Just made a minor rule change concering new clubs, I felt the current coefficient system was a bit unworkable, essentially giving new teams double points, so I have adjusted the ruling for that. Hopefully a quick check of the rules can allay your fears of an entire system meltdown.

New rules:

Club coefficients will be calculated like such:

• Round Number of Last Win + 1 / Total Rounds
• The latest season will multiply that season’s coefficent by 4, with the second most recent multiplying by 3 and so on until season 4.
• Clubs will earn 25% of their nation coefficient after each season their nation competes in.
• New clubs will use their nation coefficient in their first season for the sake of being competitive, then after the season, their ranking will be recalculated using their results according to the above formula.

No offense, but you only have 6 posts, and joined today, so if you were to try to host anything, you probably wouldn't get far, try joining some events and learning the trade.

Another thing, I already host the FARF, which is the governing body of Domestic Australian Rules, and I think CH is hosting his World Cup solo. So your bid is invalid anyway.

Also, there's an Australian rules football setting in xkoranate, and I'm surprised a perceived new user knows about xkoranate, I know it's in the FAQ, but I'm still surprised.

One more thing, do you happen to be a puppet of some other "established" nation? I'm just a bit suspicious.

I have made what I hope is the last every ranking calculation change.

New Rule:

Nation coefficients will be calculated like such:

• The sum of the nations clubs before nation coefficient is added divided by the number of teams the nation has in the rankings.

Also, I'm announcing the next cutoff momentarily. Just a warning that you'll have roughly 8 days to submit your leagues.

I'd like to enter my league into the FARF, and my team(s) into the ARCC. Since the Australian Football League of San Lucifero is a young, semi-professional league made up of only six teams, I wanted to know if I could do it - most of the other leagues are much more developed than mine.

Another question: how do I put the league's results in that neat white box I saw all over the other thread? I tried to copy-paste from xkoranate but the result was quite messy. Sorry for the n00b post, I am not new to NS (this nation is an alt of another nation with more than 150 RP posts) but I am new to NS sports.

I would just like to echo what Electrum said, pretty much. Thanks for helping out Electrum, and hope to see you in the FARF, San Lucifero.

I'd also like to say that if anyone needs help in the FARF, TG me, my inbox is always open.

EDIT: Just saw that a question was left unanswered.

San Lufifero, you may use any format to decide your entrants, for example, top 2 in league (eg. Darmen), league and playoff/cup champion (eg. Electrum), previous and current champion (eg. Super-Llamaland), playoff finalists (eg. Nexxus Drako) among others, all that's required is you sumbit a champion of your league, (i.e the grand final winner or league winner) and one other team,

Also, there is a special provision for the ARCC in that the previous season's ARCC champion gets automatic entry in the league number 1 spot, leaving the number 2 spot for the champion, this usually means altering the normal qualifiers for one season or so.

Alright, it's Nexxus Drako here, under his new main for everything but Aussie Rules and Football, and I thought I'd give this nation credit for the new scorinator coming up.

Yes, that's right, a new scorinator. This one is for scorinating competitions in the vein of the RL Australian Football League's preseason cup.

I have tested it, and it should work, as long is you put it in xkoranate's australianfootball folder, because it's an xkoranate file. I'll be looking for a couple of nations to guinea pig this on for a small friendly international club cup, independent of tha ARFF, but still posted in the ARFF thread.

I'm mulling over bringing back the ARFF. It'll have the same setup as last time, and I'll be doing cutoffs on roughly the same pace as IFCF in association football.
I also propose the IC name Lontorikan football after the Commerce Heights nation that ran the first world cups.
The association itself will be called the Australian Rules Football Confederation Nationstates, or the ARFCN and the Club's Cup will be the crown jewel of club competition, which means remaking the newswire with the new association as the OP. I won't claim the international stuff until I regain the community's trust... given past grievances.
We will recognize all past history of the sport as well, but will be restarting the rankings. (I feel like the methodology of rankings from the ARFF IV was pretty well done though. I did some detailed documentation back when I was 17.)

Vent: I know I've been a bit of a... PITA the past ten years, but it's time for me to just do things rather than navel-gaze about it.
I've forgiven everyone and having a decade's worth of grudges isn't worth the price... so I'm going to bring back one of the things I was actually proud of in NS Sports.
