Bishop Lou Kelly vs. Johmer Vales
Brett Roley vs. Rick Harris

These two players are going in opposite directions. Roley was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Lzher-Jeckland Invitational after hoping to finally break through and win a title. Of course he also was drawn against the number one player in the world. Bishop Lou Kelly however is just happy to be here. At 72 years old he never though he could have such a successful career. After a surprise quarterfinal finish, Bishop Kelly was able to go one round further in the Lzher-Jeckland Invitational and make it to the semifinals, where he too lost to the world number one. Luckily for both of them, Al Montis de Surmar will not be competing in the BCA Challenge. This means that Roley, number three in the world, and Bishop Kelly, number four, will be the number two and three seeds. This gives them both an excellent opportunity to win a title. Bishop Lou Kelly opens against unranked Johmer Vales of Ceni. Vales is a new player without much international experience but does have a lot of talent. After consecutive deep runs, Bishop Kelly is playing the best tennis of his life. This match will be an interesting contrast between the old and the new. Bishop Kelly should come out on top but he could also be fatigued from so much tennis and tired from all the travel. This should be a pretty good match that really could go either way. Brett Roley is set to play Rick Harris, although we assume the tournament organizers meant Reagan Harris of Super-Llamaland since a Rick Harris never signed up. Harris is another strong competitor ranked 26th in the world. This will be a very tough draw for Roley in the opening round but he should be able to handle the pressure and advance onward. Roley is looking for a title. He is fed up with constantly falling short and hopes that this short tournament will allow him a better opportunity to win. Estope tennis has shown its might a little in the ATP Ranks with two of the top four and three of the top ten players in the world, however we are still yet to have a champion. While rankings are nice, respect is earned through championships, not the ranking system. Both of Estope's players have a great shot at contending for a title if they just live up to their potential.

Challenge for Rarungan

The BCA Challenge is beginning with 2 main Rarungan tennis players will compete. 16th ATP ranking, Ketut Sudiarsa will meet 13th ranked, Ricardo Toli (Britonisea). Both also played in Lzher-Jeckland Invitational where Ketut finished in First Group Stage while Ricardo Toli finished in Round of 16. The other will be Daniel Joviano which will meet 5th ranked, Dustin Willenger (Super-Llamaland). Daniel were not very good at Lzher-Jeckland invitational with only finished in First Group Stage while Dustin Willenger was third place winner.

Some critics says that match between Ketut Sudiarsa and Ricardo Toli will be very tight. Seeing that both players close rank position. While Daniel Joviano not very have a good chance while facing top 5, Dustin Willenger. But everything could happen until the last game is played.

Kannapian athletes prepared for tournament

Athletes Briana Powell and Samantha Howell are both entered into the BCA Challenge. Both of these ladies are great in their sport. Powell is ranked ninth in the world in tennis and Howell is 19th in the world. They are both going to take part in this tournament to stay in good shape for the Kannapian March Invitational in two weeks.

Today is the Match of Sixteen for the BCA Challenge. Our predictions are that both our athletes will win their matches. Briana Powell is the favorite to win the BCA Challenge.

Congrats Ketut

As predicted before, Daniel Joviano was a no match to 5th ranked, Dustin Willenger. On the first game, Dustin lead fast with 3-0 to make Daniel very overwhelmed. Daniel then slowly regain his faith and try to fight Dustin fearlessly. He steal the 4th and 5th set to make 3-2 end. But Daniel good mood start to stumble in 6th set when he continuously making mistake. From an error serve to a bad shot, making him 5-2 behind. Daniel succeed to steal yet another set before being beaten by Dustin in the last set. 6-3 for Dustin in the first game.

The second game shows a little bit improvement from Daniel. He become more confident and making a good shot and even an ace. Each player continued to lead one at a time until Daniel forcing a 5-5 deuce. Dustin not giving up so fast and take the 11th set and lead 6-5. On the 12th set, Dustin lead first until Daniel force 40-40 deuce. Dustin made twice advantage but Daniel could get it off. Daniel advance also break by Dustin great backhand. Daniel lead again for the 4th deuce and his steady slow shot in front of the net save him. 6-6 for Daniel. The last set was a though match. Both players showing their quality. But although Daniel could forcing another 40-40 deuce, he failed to maintain his superiority and losing to Dustin. 7-6 for Dustin Willenger and also sending Daniel to home.

On another match, Ketut Sudiarsa met Ricardo Toli. The match was begun in an easy way for Ketut where he wins 6-2. Ketut shock Ricardo by leading 4-0 before Ricardo could take another 2 sets from him. But Ricardo failing to maintain his great play when Ketut outnumbered him in the next 2 sets. Ricardo rise in the second game. He lead fast 2-0 from Ketut. But Ketut break his superiority in the 3rd and 4th set making the game in 2-2 stale. Both players then lead one at a time. Anditia Emerges from Round of 32 with a split
Janna Valdis -- COSTA DE OURO

Following the exciting conclusion to the January Open (better known as the Lzher-Jeckland Invitational), Anditia's Al Montis de Surmar has decided to take a short break during the opener of the Nine Islands Tennis Tour - the BCA Challenge. This short-form tournament instead features Tim D'Aub and Ellie Fangol. Tim, a 21 year old from the Anditon captial of Oriden, faired decently well when competing during his first international play during the LJI making it to the opening round of group play, but ultimately being eliminated (1-2 in group play) from the tournament. The BCA Challenge proved to be dificult D'Aub as he drew #2 in the world, Ardil Navsal of Ceni. The unlucky draw allowed D'Aub to be challenged by the champion of the LJI.

"It was a great experience. Its not every day that you can face someone like Ardy. I'm excited to see what happens next in the Nine Islands [Tennis Tour]." D'Aub commented.

Also appearing in the BCA is Ellie Fangol, who took the place of the aged Eloise Lumbo following her admission that her health was not up to par for competition - a fact that was much speculated following her poor performance during both the 2nd Kinteren (KITO) and the LJI. Fangol, the daughter of two sport champion Marc Fangol, performed much better than expected during her international competition debut by making it to the second round of group play during the LJI. Unfortunately she was bounced following three consecutive losses during the second round. Her rise up the ranks of International Tennis was confirmed as she defeated Peter P. Larry of Britonisea (3-6, 7-5 (7), 6-4). Despite early shortcomings on the court, Fangol was able to rely on her short game during the remainder of the match, eventually bringing the Britonish tennis champ to his knees.

"It was great. For a good number of the games I was able to play my game the way that I wanted to. Peter is a great competitor and a formidable one at that, but my short game is clicking right now - and if you've got it, you've got to flaunt it." Fangol mentioned. She next faces home-town favorite Andre Pedrinho Delgado who recently defeated Kannap's Brianna Powell (9th in the world). Definitely an uphill battle for Fangol, she still remains optimistic about her chances. "Andre is a tough competitior but by staying true to my game, I may have a chance. Either way, its not about how I fare in this one, but the entirety of the Nine Islands that I'm thinking about. Still I have to focus on one game at a time... no - one serve at a time."

We expect it to be a close game, with Andre Pedrinho Delgado edging out Ellie Fangol in 3.
