World Cricket Championship

Postby Bikini Bottom Republic » Thu Jun 11, 2009 11:43 am

Well, ladies and gents, I doubt you've had a cricket cup before. Well, now is your chance! The first ever WCC (World Cricket Championships) will be held this summer, with the qualifying stage in July and the championships in August. This Twenty20 championship will have hosting bids (two lucky winners per event), a professional event, a first-timer professional event (The Baptism of Hat Tricks), and a U-18 event. Both men and women may be on your team, and you can register in any event or bidding thing. But this is just the Professional event sign-ups topic. I will open up two more for the Baptism of Hat Tricks event and the U-18 event.

TO REGISTER (all fields are required!!!!):

1. List the nation name.
2. Declare the event(s) you want to field a team in, depending on the topic.
3. List your roster of exactly 6 batters, 3 wicket-keepers, 5 all-rounders, 3 pace bowlers and 2 spin bowlers that are qualified for Twenty20 play.
4. List a captain and a manager.
5. DON'T FORGET TO LIST YOUR PLAYER SKILL LETTER GRADE FOR EACH PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Optional. If you would like to bid to host, just state so, as well as 5 venues in your country.

Registering ends June 30, 2009, so don't wait! On July 3, I will post the groups for qualification.

If this is the first ever tournament wouldn't that make everyone who enters a first-timer?

Is it too late to enter a team for this competition?

Gynocracy would very much like to enter one.
