I'd also want to start this, my domestic league is pretty complete at the moment. Razenthuria can take this as well, as I'd need a 1,5-2 weeks before I could start something up. If anything else comes up, I'm willing to set up and scorinate a tournament as well.

I'm not exactly a very experienced host either (apart from a bunch of baseball club competitions), so for me it's not a big difference whether I host it or Razen hosts it, experience-wise. I just TG'd Razen to get some ideas on paper about how to run this thing.

I want to run the Champions' Bowl like outlined in the OP, with one or two tweaks here and there:

- 4 teams per nation.
- No coefficients, though RP bonus will be applied which resets per Champions' Bowl
- The preferred format is as follows:
-- A qualification round with the lowest seeded teams (teams noted 4th in the signups, or occasionally 3rd teams as well), randomly drawn, to get a nice number for the First Round (16, 32, etc)
-- First Round, Second Round, Quarterfinal, Semifinal: one single knock-out match
-- Final: one single knock-out match, on neutral ground, stadium host bids may be included with signups.

With that, signups for the second Champions' Bowl are open! The deadline is 17-Aug-2018, 20:00 CEST.
Host bids for the Champions' Bowl Final are also accepted until 17-Aug-2018, 20:00 CEST.

As per this post (which contains most of the RP).

After 96 league games, 2 playoff games and 1 final, the Greencaster Godspeed have been crowned the Champions of Ko-oren - quite a feat, if we may say so ourselves. They defeated last year's champions Sterrenwolde Dragonflies 17-16 after beating the Mayara Destroyers 17-15 in the playoff game.

The Godspeed lead the league in rushing yards per game, and are among the league's best defences - and are second in both defensive yards per game, net total yards per game and net turnovers across the season. They will look for Alastair Thorebourne, the best running back in the league.

The Dragonflies, as always, have a great defence, even if that defence didn't show up in some games. They do, however, now have a great passing game with their TEs, and are still great at stopping the run - and are third in net total yards per game. They have kept offenses off the field by getting a lot of first downs, and lead the league in net turnovers. Their stars are their QB Reeman (220 ypg), Linebacker Boaz Avink, and Jacob Nijdekker (CB, leads the league in INTs).

The Destroyers have had the hottest offence of the year: QB Merolidhothen threw for 242 yards per game, and has Whitlock and Patrasthen as the number 1 and number 3 receivers over the year.

The Astronauts have quietly had a great year, one of the best passers of the season in Hoortsberg, but have had the best defence of all allowing just 285 ypg. They excelled in shutting down quarterbacks, but haven't come up with turnovers very much. The aforementioned Hoortsberg, together with linebacker Ehrenkorn, and spectacular return specialist Reenkwist should provide the Astronauts with some chance.

We have a few surprises or disappointments.
Miedzyzdroje Bulldogs making the playoffs would be a surprise. But them winning their division with a 1st round bye is a really big surprise.
Beardstown Maroons were considered the best team on paper. Them missing the playoffs is a big shock.

Congratulations to Sheriff Tiraspol of Pridnestrovia, winning 6 straight games all the way from the playoffs to the second Champions' Bowl! It was a good tournament for all teams from Pridnestrovia, as all but one managed to win at least a game, and supplying half of our four semifinal teams. Commiserations to Markovsky Lumberjacks of Abanhfleft, coming up just short in the final game. I want to thank all for their involvement and signups, I hope to see you next season!

3rd Champions' Bowl
Signups for the third Champions' Bowl are open! The deadline is 14-Dec-2018, 20:00 CEST.
Host bids for the Champions' Bowl Final are also accepted until 14-Dec-2018, 20:00 CEST.

The format remains the same:
- 4 teams per nation.
- No coefficients, though RP bonus will be applied which resets per Champions' Bowl
- The preferred format is as follows:
-- A qualification round with the lowest seeded teams (teams noted 4th in the signups, or occasionally 3rd teams as well), randomly drawn, to get a nice number for the First Round (16, 32, etc)
-- First Round, Second Round, Quarterfinal, Semifinal: one single knock-out match
-- Final: one single knock-out match, on neutral ground, stadium host bids may be included with signups.
- Teams from the same league will not be drawn to play each other in the Playoff Round or in Round 1.
