I wouldn't make any geographical reference in the conferences (north/west/south/east), if conferences are drawn randomly you might draw western teams in the eastern conference and so on. It might be small, and it might be just a nice RP line, but I'd rather play in a very nondescript conference.

In my humbled opinion, I like colors better.

I'm already okay with colors, but when you said elements, I thought of the 'classical' elements of water, fire, earth and air/sky. Could also be something like sun/moon, or something else that exists in a duo (yin/yang, black/white, silver/gold, those kinds of things)

The reason I ask is mainly for IC purposes, since I'll be using my NSBL team to train prospects for my WBC team, and I don't want a situation where I'm dealing with future and past versions of the same characters, if you know what I mean.

There will be the all-star game after twenty-seven games. I pick the teams, they are reset to zero rank and zero style for scorination.

Woah, woah, woah. You pick the teams? That has a potential to be biased. (Not saying you would purposely make the teams biased, because I trust you, Llama, but it leaves a lot of room for accusation.) Perhaps we could do either
a) Coaches nominate a few players (of their own) that they think are worthy
b) Coaches vote for players (not theirs) to be on the all-star team

I have no problem with Llama choosing, nor us choosing our own players. It's an all-star game. Who gives two farts?
I do have an objection to the last option where we all vote for each other, cause some of us don't like our RPs to focus on the player/matches themselves

OK, I have an idea. It might be a bit crazy, but here it is. Instead of one nominee for every team that's RP'ed or rostered, we do two, but have a committee of 3 or more users that decide on the final teams.

(Thinking about it now, this seems like a lot of work for one IC fact that happens for one game. Why did I bring it up?)
