Champions… again. And worthy ones at that, storming to the title on the back of a hundred and five goals. Now, Larissa Garrotte has her eyes set on a third successive title, a feat no team has managed to date - and while they might not be favourites, you’d never bet against them to do it. Still - win or lose, the Dockers are a joy to watch.
THE GAFFER
Larissa Garrotte has turned cautious possession with Cranequin Wanderers into this, the mastered version of that blueprint, free-flowing aggression. The front five are an incredibly fluid unit, but every player is expected to do their part in defence and attack - Colbright has been trained to be the best goalkeeper in the league as a distributor, both fullbacks are inclined to attack, and even recently-capped Elaine Blackstock at centreback is a capable player on the ball, and a good stand-in at rightback. This so-called Total Football was rubbished by critics… right up until the point at which it began to destroy everything in its path.
KEY PLAYER
Arron Stewart, on the other hand, has never pretended to be anything other than a rock-solid centreback. The Licentian’s last-ditch tackles have saved an often-exposed back line more often than anyone could count.
STRENGTHS
A vicious, incisive attack can flow around/through the often very rigid defences of the Premiership. Norgen (and Schwarzenegger) are some of the finest finishers in the league, and there’s no team more able to give them the service they need.
WEAKNESSES
All of that said, 51 goals conceded is hardly optimal. Brinemouth proved surprisingly vulnerable to the route one approach, particularly when forced to turn to third-choice centreback Andre Lopez. A fine player, yes. But he’s thirty-five, and it showed.
HIGHLIGHTS
Ending the season with a whole host of records. Highest points. Most goals scored. Best goal difference… and now they’re one away from matching Treason’s three titles.
LOWLIGHTS
An inexplicable 5-1 annihilation at the hands of Corvette Maulers, when the title was all but sealed up, will still leave a bitter taste in the mouth - particularly so close to the season’s finish.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Elaine Ashdown (Iron City, 4.85m), Felix Schwarzenegger (Westpike, 3m), Stephen Mahoney (returns from loan), Gerry Malone (returns from loan)
Out: Shay Warwick (Maximum Rovers, 2m), Daniella Strauss (Raven River, 1.75m), Rudi Stahl (retired), Andre Lopez (released)
While none of these signings are meant for the first-team just yet, both are young, credible substitutes - Ashdown is a certainty for the national team in the future, Schwarzenegger a possibility as well. It goes further towards establishing depth, something Brinemouth have always stressed. Malone and Mahoney both had incredibly successful loan spells, and despite attempts from both their respective clubs to keep them for another season, both are recalled. Credit where it’s due; Treason, Violence and Crisisbless have all sold key players abroad. Brinemouth has not, despite largely spurious rumours of Norgen returning to Divijon One, and that could be key.
PREDICTION
Among the favourites, but something has to mark them as second behind Treason.

Tipped to improve, the Woodsmen backslid dramatically, though they never looked like relegation candidates. They have a good and young squad, and will almost certainly improve. Time’s on their side.
THE GAFFER
Emery Lineker is combative, vicious and outspoken. Her rivalry with people like Larissa Garrotte, Gareth Bournemouth, Ruth Tungsten and every single referee in the league is well-known. She’s always been an inspiration to her players, who are willing to commit everything for her.
KEY PLAYER
Sennetian Calista Ferreira is the sole flair player of a hard-working squad - she lead the squad in assists last season, while also tallying up five goals of her own. She’s not exactly the most defensive-minded player, but she’ll do the job when she has to - still, her best attributes shine through when the Woodsmen are on the offensive.
STRENGTHS
Chatswood are still the most physical club in the league. They wouldn’t have it any other way. They’ve managed twenty-two red cards in three seasons. In possibly the most physical league with leniant referees in the multiverse. Still, when all eleven players are on the pitch, they can dominate opponents with their pressing game.
WEAKNESSES
Chatswood might have five strikers on the books, but none of them are fantastic. Bryson and Charlemagne are a decent partnership, the former having 24 caps and 8 goals for Brenecia, and Tariff is a good target man sporting an impressive glass eye, but they lean too much on their midfield for goals. An out-and-out goalscorer would not go amiss in this squad.
HIGHLIGHTS
A couple of big wins early on seemed to set the tone - thumping Ritter Town 4-0 at the Stableground before a 5-1 win over Corvette. Going deep into the Cup was another highlight - it took penalties to seperate them and Goodfeather in the semi-finals.
LOWLIGHTS
That said, for every big win was a big loss. Going down 4-1 to eventually relegated Cranequin was probably the worst, but a Treason derby in which Chatswood were ultimately reduced to nine men was also painful, the Woodsmen reduced to desperate defending in a 4-3-1 formation for much of the game, landing just a single shot on target over the 90 minutes. Remarkably, thanks to that defence and sterling work from Alhambra Shrike, it only ended a 1-0 defeat.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Mikko Haagensen (SK Franz Josef City, 3m), Brand Finnan (returned from loan)
Out: Vince Riggs (Francisca Orient, 500k), Sophia Laurent (Rhagant Schadenfreude, free), Jayce Bell (Mainstream Fist, free), Vanessa Clyment (retired)
Haagensen becomes Chatswood’s record signing at three million pounds, and the fourth Polarian in the league. Good thing, too - they make no others. But Brand Finnan makes his return from a successful loan as Jayce Bell leaves on a free, as does Sophia Laurent - both aging First Division-quality players. Sadly, two club legends retire - one-club woman Vanessa Clyment, who was able to make the step up to the Premiership when needed, and Vince Riggs, who’d tallied up ten red cards in three seasons, as well as several assists from bullshit long throw-ins. What a hero.
PREDICTION
Respectably 13th.

Another tough season for the Harriers, but they defiantly exceeded expectations - starting and ending the season well, though with a very shaky period in between. But despite only one senior departure, it’s a painful one - Tanya Bottlegreen leaves for six million pounds, and that combined with the age of much of their squad makes them, once again, looking to avoid relegation.
THE GAFFER
Ruth Tungsten’s had her doubters for her possession-based football, but it’s generally worked out for the team. It’s on those foundations, after all, that the Harriers have stayed in the top flight so long. Personally, Tungsten’s a real firebrand who commands the respect of her squad - until things go sour, at least.
KEY PLAYER
Bror Helmensun has always excelled in the water-carrier role, creating space and freedom for the three attacking midfielders. He’s a very physical player who creates space for others, but he’s no slouch himself in front of goal.
STRENGTHS
The Harriers are good at a quick possession game playing out from the back, an unusual style for the Premiership but one that works for the team. It’s something that can give them an edge against some of the best teams in the league.
WEAKNESSES
That said, their midfield is surprisingly weak - they have a decent first team, but nobody shines through as particularly talented, and they’ll suffer for the loss of Tanya Bottlegreen.
HIGHLIGHTS
A 1-0 win away against the Rovers was very welcome - particularly as they’d lost the first derby, ending one-nil in goals and ten-nine in manpower. But it also came just after the Harriers had put a stop to a streak of twelves matches with just a single win, one that had put them right back in the relegation battle, and it started them back off to winning ways.
LOWLIGHTS
The streak itself, though, was pretty bloody dismal - the Harriers won just once in twelve games (surprisingly besting Athletic) to slide into danger.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Shay Buckingham (Rochford, 1.75m), Emma Maher (Bishop, 1.3m), Durgan Pryor (Maximum City, loan)
Out: Tanya Bottlegreen (Goodfeather FC, 6m), Daniel Payne (Vermillion Wanderers, loan renewed), Royce Westmead (retired)
Bottlegreen made it quietly known that she’’d prefer to leave, and after many teams tabled offers for her it was Goodfeather who suited every party the best. So the money was reinvested wisely - two promising players in the First Division both ready to step up, while Durgan Pryor offers strength in the heart of defence - for a season, anyway.
PREDICTION
We’ve lost count of the amount of times we’ve said it and they’ve defied us. That said… relegated, second-last.

A good first season back in the top flight for the Rovers, but is the job done? Not yet. Chenoworth were lucky not to suffer too many injuries last season, which would’ve stretched their rather poor depth quite thinly.
THE GAFFER
Juliet Corren is a dominator. She wants her team to run the same way. Unlike her team, however, she’s missing her left leg. Still, even a prosthetic is still enough to get the message across to the rest of the team; ‘put the boot in’.
KEY PLAYER
The Breen sisters, Molly and Cath, are key right-backs in a squad playing a narrow diamond - they offer a lot of threat going forward, which a team playing this formation needs as much as they can. Molly Breen in particular plays quite a lot like Anna Shrike did for the national team in the early days - very fast and enterprising, making up for the lack of support with the energy and timing of her runs.
STRENGTHS
The Rovers just have all the makings of a team that can stay up nine times from ten, particularly given new signings. All their players just looked… comfortable in the Premiership, as did their dedicated supporters in the crowd. For a team that just came up two seasons ago after a five-year exile, it’s a real sign of progress to think they can’t really be relegated barring a major collapse.
WEAKNESSES
Rogalski’s a pretty good forward, but he didn’t get much help - Kinsman’s ten was the second-highest tally in the squad. And now the Ruentenbacher’s 31 years old, and in the start of his declining years - either the likes of Thrushell will need to blossom in time for next seasons, or the Rovers will need new attack signings.
HIGHLIGHTS
In their first match against Corvette, they faced the Maulers fresh after they’d demolished Cranequin Wanderers 7-2. The Maulers still seemed tired after that slaughter, and the match played out to a 0-0 draw. In the reverse fixture, Corvette had in fact lost to Cranequin 1-0, and the match against the Rovers was 1-1 at halftime… but in a flurry of activity on the right side of the pitch, it ended 5-1. A painful 45 minutes for the travelling fans - lovely for the home support, of course.
LOWLIGHTS
Losing a Chenoworth derby soon afterwards that, annoyingly, saw their rivals skip uncannily breezily out of the relegation zone. Bastards.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Dagbjartur Damkjaer (Gunnmarket, 4m), Taylor Lovelock (Violence Chariots, 1.75m), Henry Stringer (Raven River, 500k)
Out: Paul Ashpike (Honneur, 13m), Chase Stark (Rozelle, 700k), Per Fischer (Maximum Rovers, 650k), Darren Essex (AFC Serpentine, loan)
Ashpike leaves - which is a shame, as he was a real presence in the team, but a sum like that was too much to turn down. The money’s spent wisely - a good backup in Stringer, a good defender in Lovelock and Damkjaer, of the Fallenmark team that made themselves local favourites during their matches in Nephara. Stark and Fischer both leave, while Essex is part of Serpentine’s ‘loan everyone in the entire top two tiers’ plan to stay up in the First Division.
PREDICTION
Twelfth. A midtable side that will benefit from Damkjaer, but can’t really be expected to build into the top ten.

Corvette, once best-known for ‘showing up, giving the national team Konrad Evans, selling him, disappearing’, are now hoping to become a midtable mainstay in the Premiership. It was much the same stock as the last season - they played direct, fast, exciting football, with an entertainingly porous defence. They probably won’t have to deal with relegation this season, and that’s good, because they’re always easy on the eye..
THE GAFFER
Foxglove showed a new, most personable face to the fans this season, and it’s clear he’d finally fallen in love with the club. It was something the fans picked up on, appreciated, and returned in kind. Tactically, Foxglove plays the Maulers the same way he plays every team.
KEY PLAYER
In Fletcher last season, and now with Sadler, they now boast two reliable strikers proven at this level. Both have the ability to get into good positions, find themselves on the end of chances, and finishing them adeptly - the sort of player Corvette needs so that their attacks don’t fall flat.
STRENGTHS
Just to look at the matches below, it’s clear Corvette had a unique ferocity at home, able to take on any team within the confines of Westway Park. It takes a special side, and a special atmosphere, to go out and utterly destroy the league champions.
WEAKNESSES
That said, they run all goddamn game - it’s a physical and athletic playstyle that enforces a rotation policy throughout the squad, one that largely exceeds its actual depth. The Maulers were forced into the most substitutions of any club last season, and they still largely have First Division-grade squad players.
HIGHLIGHTS
An opening-day win over Treason, 2-0, set the triumphant tone for the season, but more triumphant scorelines were to follow. 7-2 over Cranequin Wanderers, and most remarkably, 5-1 over the champions themselves. Brinemouth, in the 44th matchday, to shock the fans.
LOWLIGHTS
… Meanwhile, they lost to Chenoworth Rovers 5-1, Chatswood 5-1, 4-0 and 3-0 to River, and remarkably, every one of those above teams beat them in the reverse fixture.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Fran Sadler (Sabrefell Moths, 750k)
Out: Diana Groves (Cranequin Wanderers, free), Frank Tavish (AFC Serpentine, 600k), Jake Glasgow (Cypher Town, free)
Promoted: Francesca Quail (RB, 19), Just Hargrave (GK, 18)
A very low-key window sees 32-year old Sadler the only acquisition. A proven Premiership striker is exactly the kind of bite this squad needs at the front. Sacrifices are made in depth, but Corvette will manage.
PREDICTION
16th. A lower midtable side, but one with little to fear from relegation - they’ve easily enough goals in them to avoid that fate.
336 Starting Lineup

329: Premiership; 2nd, W25, D13, L8, GF63, GA37, 88 pts, Globe Cup
The same amount of points, one less scored and three fewer conceded. Crisisbless might have slid down into the Globe Cup places, but they’ve proven that they’re a team to take seriously in a bid for the title. Still very young and very hungry, they haven’t hit their prime yet, but they’re a very credible third horse in the race for first.
THE GAFFER
Gareth Bournemouth is a strong manager who rules with a firm but fair fist. Well-liked by the players and fans alike, he subscribes to a fairly standard Nepharim policy. Go in hard, go in strong, and take the day by the throat.
KEY PLAYER
Khan is the jewel of the Heelers’ multicultural attack, not one of the starting front three a Nepharim - the Barangayan attacking midfielder not only has a genuine chemistry with the rest of the attack and the midfield, but is arguably the most threatening player in the team on his own merit. Nine goals last season is markedly below his best, though by no means bad, either, but fans are confident he’ll swing back into top form.
STRENGTHS
The pass-and-move game is one Crisisbless excels at, albeit a more solid and organised one than the fluidity of Brinemouth. They wrest the ball from their opponents and they get it into dangerous areas. Its their defence that’s one of their strongest aspects, though - Greig and Finnan are a superb combination in the heart of defence, and Ballard is a phenomenal goalkeeper.
WEAKNESSES
The Heelers’ narrow spine was ably supported by the talent of Stockinger and Blackwood on the wings. Now both are gone. Berenger is a better rightback than Blackwood, granted, but she’s still very young and raw and won’t exactly defend to the greatest ability. Bran Tailor is a good defender who can’t pass or shoot. Expect that to be exploited.
HIGHLIGHTS
A thirteen-game unbeaten run at the end of the season, from the 34th match onwards, powered them back into UICA when it all looked doubtful. A 6-1 win over Martella and 5-1 over Chariots were the highlights of that streak, but they also beat Treason and held Brinemouth 0-0 to claim third place.
LOWLIGHTS
An early defeat to Vermillion Rage came with a 4-1 scoreline, and was compounded by former Crisisbless striker Gareth Farrell scoring twice. His celebrations were muted, but not as muted as the away crowd. They were markedly vulnerable to weak sides throughout, in fact - Iron City, Cranequin and, remarkably, Ritter Town away, all managed to chalk up wins over the Heelers.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Luxulya St. Cleer (Wrexton FC, 6.5m), Birgit Sternberg (Vermillion Rage, 2.85m)
Out: Catheline Stockinger (FC Brimstone, 6.5m), Cheney Scherzer (Wye United, 6m), Lauren Brockhurst (retired), Shay Blackwood (Marque, 1.15m), Brigid Kestrel (Extreme Hills, loan)
Promoted: Diana Thrush (LB, 19), Henna Morgan (GK, 17)
Stockinger, who looks every inch a Cormorant, was bought from the Saints for 3.6m, and after one very productive season as the second-best leftback in the league, shifted to Apox for a very tidy profit. And Apox gives something back, too; St. Cleer was arguably the best player of Wrexton FC as they won promotion back to the top flight, and will likely be a standout player at this level. Crisisbless had a sickeningly obvious need for another striker last season, and made several audacious bids abroad, with names like Styrn (quickly quashed) and Thomas (slowly but no less thoroughly quashed) linked with the Heelers as Scherzer is lured away on the final day of the transfer window. But no improvements were secured, and the need for depth is one which 22-year old Sternberg will more than adequately fill - she’s a player who can definitely compete to start.
PREDICTION
4th. A lot of upheaval in a team trying to play the long game is rarely a good sign, but that said they won’t slip on the stranglehold they now enjoy in the UICA places.
335 Starting Lineup
(4-4-2 diamond) 12 - Ballard; 2 - Blackwood, 3 - Greig, 5 - Finnan (c), 20 - Stockinger; 6 - Brandon; 8 - Knutsen, 13 - Galloway; 7 - Khan; 10 - Keast, 9 - Scherzer

The Chessmen stayed within touching distance of promotion practically the entire season, but only secured it on the final matchday with goals from Rourke and Arrowsmith taking them past Newrook City. Both went up, and both will be looking over their shoulder at the bottom four this season. It’s an uphill struggle for Crisisbless United, but they can be expected to give staying up their best shot, and not to go down quietly.
THE GAFFER
Matilda Heisenberg has rebuilt the squad since her arrival, rejuvenating the side entirely since being a bloated, overpaid squad of aging players. Now United has a genuine chance in the top flight, particularly with some decent transfers. Her man-management and eye in the window are unquestioned, but Heisenberg perhaps isn’t so much of a tactician, and she’s never been at the top flight.
KEY PLAYER
Samantha Rhinestone made just two starts last time United were in the Premiership, making seven appearances in all; but since then, she’s matured into the captain of the team. The 27-year old midfielder might not be fast, but can hold her own physically, and her fine vision and perfectly-weighted passes can so often split a defence.
STRENGTHS
United play the sort of aggressive, direct football that has been taking the Brenecian A-League by storm lately. It’s rare to see a short pass from them, and they don’t get much possession, but they are good at ramming down defences. Andreas Rourke, a clinical finisher, so often applies the finishing touch - he scored twenty-five in the league last season.
WEAKNESSES
Besides those survivors of the first campaign, no other player in the squad has Premiership experience. This could prove especially costly in defence, already mediocre in the First Division - Broadbelt and Bren are expected to be liabilities in defence, as is Chase Thistlewood, though at least he offers a lot going forward.
HIGHLIGHTS
The finale. A victory, 2-1, over a Newrook City side that also won promotion, took them back into the promised land.
LOWLIGHTS
But it had all looked in doubt with their late form; one win in four was hardly the sort of form to take into crunch time. Particularly when that win came 1-0 over Rochford, from a Juergen Swallowtail goalkick that carried in the wind.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
IN: Reinhard Mueller (Leichhardt, 1.25m), Bess Gannon (Iron United, 1.35m), Michael Westerveld (Rushe United, 750k)
OUT: Ethan Steadwick (retired)
The redoubtable Ethan Steadwick retires from the team - a solid defender who never tasted the modern Premiership, the 35-year old at least gets to end on the high of promotion. Bess Gannon is a superior defender, despite suffering relegation from the First Division this year, and Westerveld one for the future. Journeyman right winger Mueller will be hoping to find a long-term home for the first time in his career in the Premiership; the muscular Treasoner is likely to start.
PREDICTION
24th. The Chessmen are brave. They’re courageous. They’re attack-minded. They aren’t very good.
336 Starting Lineup

The Hounds’ long journey is complete, precisely one step further than anyone expected. They’re the sort of team that have ‘First Division selling club’ writ all over them, but like both Dubstep Rangers and Martella Jazz before them, they’ve far exceeded that. Granted, Martella’s been relegated in both Premiership seasons, and the Rangers are now deeply in crippling debt, but… either way, there just seems something special about the Hills. We’ll see if they live up to expectations.
THE GAFFER
Malta Fletcher’s roots as a physio are clear - a believer in physical conditioning and rotation, Fletcher’s teams have always been physically and mentally prepared for anything, but the Hounds are the first to be truly successful at climbing up the leagues.
KEY PLAYER
The three U-21 internationals in the team - Aidan Kennedy, Steed Fowler and Brendan Rivers - are undoubtedly the highlights, all having Premiership-level talent and room to built. But of these, it’s been the goalkeeper, Kennedy, who’s been the most pivotal - now 25, he resisted several offers to move up as a backup, and now he’s paying dividends. He’s an agile shot-stopper, but his true strengths are supplemental - sweeping, distribution, coming out for crosses and the like. A truly complete goalkeeper.
STRENGTHS
A very young, energetic team, Hills have used their superior pace and stamina to great effect, running their opponents utterly ragged. Many of their attacks come from the flanks, and if they can furnish the chances, nobody in the league is better-suited to finish them than Mycroft Drinkwater.
WEAKNESSES
That said, whether it was through a mixture of confidence in youth or just lack of funds, Hills haven’t exactly strengthened their side throughout - barring the extra year to put everyone closer to their prime. Either way, they’ll lack for experience - certainly top-flight experience.
HIGHLIGHTS
Aside from the obvious candidate of promotion, being able to dump the defending Cup champions, West Brinemouth, out with a 1-0 victory was the moment that gave them the energy and belief to continue on their path to promotion. They never flagged from that pace all season.
LOWLIGHTS
An unexpected 4-0 crushing at the hands of Vermillion Wanderers on the third-last matchday was a real body-blow; in the end, the Hounds staggered over the line when they could have seized the title.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
IN: Croft Drinkwater (Violence Chariots, 2m), Brigid Kestrel (Crisisbless, loan)
OUT: None
PROMOTED: Cath Allardyce (ST, 18)
On paper, the expensive acquisition of a 33-year old is perhaps not the greatest thing on paper. But Drinkwater is an exceptional poacher who has continually proven a threat in front of goal - perhaps the cynical former Iron Boot winner is exactly the player Hills need for those cheap goals to stay up. Kestrel is an exceptionally promising young winger from Crisisbless, the sort of player Hills usually prefer to sell themselves - but they'll be grateful for the season loan regardless.
PREDICTION
A perhaps slightly controversial 18th. The Hounds will soon come to like their new territory, as long as they can avoid the pitfalls of promoted feeder clubs before them.

Slight setback, but still very much on course for Turnbull’s men and women. They’ve strengthened themselves in subtle ways, but they’re definitely an opponent to take very seriously in the top ten - more a Violence Chariots than a North Laithland. A very young squad that will only get better with years helps matters.
THE GAFFER
Brigid ‘Spike’ Turnbull’s a short, slight woman with a variety of imaginatively-placed piercings and a passable fauxhawk - tactically, few can match her in the top division. She’s had success for Newrook, left them for North Laithland, but was poorly treated and sacked - her bitterness is still visible in press conferences whenever the Spiders come up. She takes great satisfaction in the fact that she’s come exactly one place higher than them in the last two seasons, with a lot less of a budget.
KEY PLAYER
24-year old Rachael Loxley burst into the senior team late, at 20, after a series of successful loans - the impact was immediate. At 21 she had the number 4 shirt and was a locked-in starter. Now she’s vice-captain, deep-lying playmaker, midfield anchor and looks set for Nepharim caps in the future.
STRENGTHS
Quick, accurate passing on the backs of fast movement. The pace and skill of their midfield is what drives Goodfeather, though they have good centre-forwards too - Rettinger, after all, recently won his first cap for Buyan, and added several more soon after.
WEAKNESSES
Their team is very young, quite raw and not always capable of matching other Premiership teams in physical strength. As was very firmly displayed by Vadim Illich-Svitych in the Cup final...
HIGHLIGHTS
Three penalty saves against Chatswood from Isadora Caravella! Reaching the Cup final! Only a weak, relegation-threatened South Laithland in their way! Victory looking assured!
LOWLIGHTS
… then suffering a brutal 1-0 defeat, unable to counter the ‘sick Illich-Svitych knockdown, Havelund smashes in from three yards’ combination.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Tanya Bottlegreen (Chenoworth Harriers, 6m), Kieran Ritter (Project +90, undisclosed), Luke Kendrick (AFC Treason, free), Augustine Bardsley (returns from loan)
Out: John Beckett (Cazadores Cathair, free), Pete Goodwood (Franchise FC, free), Tony Lester (Creed United, free)
Promoted: Kurtis Rakeruth (CB, 18)
A canny set of transfers, the only money changing hands being an ambitious swoop for two Nepharim U-21 players; six million for Bottlegreen, a player capable of playing on either wing, and an undisclosed fee for Project +90 defender Ritter. Ambitiously, Ritter’s given the number 3 shirt… one vacated by Pete Goodwood, who leaves for the First Division. Captain John Beckett also leaves, for Cazadores Cathair of Audioslavia - as does Lester, picked up by Creed. Bardsley returns from a successful loan spell at Lotus Park, in Brenecia, and Luke Kendrick is a tidy free transfer who adds real danger to the depth of the Quakers’ midfield.
PREDICTION
7th. Goodfeather are in their golden years, and it’s all about consolidating their recent gains under Turnbull.

Back in the top flight, but with an uninspiring squad and little transfer movement they look destined to fall back unless the inspiration of manager Wilhelm Moesler can stead them to safety. Right now, however, they have the look of a decent team, but one that the Premiership has simply moven on without.
THE GAFFER
Wilhelm Moesler might never have reached the top flight of the Nepharim league, but he’s a seasoned campaigner in the second and third tiers. A fierce Integristani nationalist, he’s shown a strong preference for local players and rebuilding the academy for the long term.
KEY PLAYER
Gerd Mannheim’s their best player by a distance, easily good enough to have held onto a place in the Premiership. Capable of acting in a purely holding role or as a box-to-box midfielder as the situation demands, the 30-year old is an inspiration both on and off the pitch.
STRENGTHS
The Integristani rely on defensive solidity, physicality and chemistry - they’ve never been ones to chop and change their squad, and many of their squad have been there since the academy. They could give Chatswood a run for their money in strength, they’re more athletic, and more disciplined besides.
WEAKNESSES
That said there’s a great dearth of technical talent in the squad - players like the flamboyant Sasha Haas and new signing Reisinger are about it. Much of the team is in the muscular, hard-working but technically lacking mould - and it might well prove a weak point in what is a subtler Premiership these days.
HIGHLIGHTS
An extremely emphatic 5-0 win over Mainstream Fist - just relegated - early on in the season made their promotion credentials clear. Mainstream, who had themselves hoped to come straight back up despite losing their manager and some key players, ultimately finished sixteenth.
LOWLIGHTS
That said, the Panthers had the misfortune to be dumped out of the Cup in a particularly ignominious fashion - they were locked 0-0 with Rochford in the First Round by the end of ninety minutes, but twenty minutes into extra time Rochford took a sneaky lead - Henriette Cunningham, a striker who’s managed a less than sterling nineteen goals in her eighty-seven Premiership appearances as despite a solid record in the First Division, ‘cleverly’ stopped a corner with her hand to lay it off to her feet before volleying into the net. She did, at least, have the good grace to keep her celebration muted, and frankly a little embarrassed.
TRANSFER ACTIVITY
In: Kelly Reisinger (Cypher Town, 1.65m)
Out: Sabine Frettchen (retired)
Promoted: Michaela Hoefball (ST, 18)
Frettchen, a Premiership veteran since the pre-UICA days, finally makes her last bow - she was a very strong option in the squad while fit, but that was becoming less and less common with time. In her stead, rightback Kelly Reisinger is signed up - a weakness for the Panthers in the past is now a strength, though they’ll not be glad to see her injured.
PREDICTION
21st. Worthy champions, but they’re no dominators in the vein of Chatswood or Chenoworth Rovers, immediately ready for the rigours of the top flight. They’re likely to go down, though not quietly.
