Campionata Esportiva VII - The Glorious Commune Host Bid

Location:
The Glorious Commune-PDT.v2 is located towards the south-west of Esportiva. The majority of it is covered in arid, shrubby desert with its defining features being the river which runs through the centre of it and the imposing metropolises of its cities. Most of the cities are complex mazes within the city walls and boast few cultural sights. There is no real tourist industry due, in part, to a media-exacerbated xenophobia and it's dull enviroment.

More in-depth IC info to come should the bid be successful.

Format:
The format of the tournament will depend highly upon number of entrants, but I'll be hoping for a single round robin with 4 groups of 5,6 or 7. My reasoning for this is to give people a longer tournament, and more chance of building a decent RP bonus before teams get eliminated and we enter the knock-out phase.
I will use the latest version of xkoranate with the NSFS formula and cut-off times will occur some time c.08:00 GMT (Actual times will be confirmed should the bid be successful)

RP Bonuses:
RP will be graded on a fluid scale between 1-3 (i.e. 1.2, 2.75 and 1.946374 are all valid potential bonuses) with 0 being reserved only for no RP whatsoever. RP will be graded primarily upon quality. If it's written well/is interesting and creative, it will score well. Quantity will not be a factor used in judging RP although if you only write two sentences, they had better be truly epic if you wish to score highly.
There will be no degradation in RP bonus.

Anything Else?:
I should probably state my hosting experience. Okay, so it's not much. A World Badminton Championships and A World Championships in a niche sport I invented called Wol'Bol as Paradystopia. I've also scorinated many domestic leagues and events in several different sports.

Also, due to the dangerous nature of the Commune. Each competing team will be allocated a Communadi security chief. This person is yours to control. They can do their job of protecting your team from harm silently behind the scenes, you can kill them off and make your own security arrangements, you could warp their mind and persuade them to lead a coup against the Communadi government. It's really up to you how you use them (or not). Whether you use this character or not will not affect your RP bonuses.
