Endeavor Thistles vs Llamaland Tigers

"Hi, and WELLLLLLLLLLLLcome to the 2013 premiere of the best soccer show around, hosted by the host of Sportz with Spiff. We present, Soccer with Spiff!"

"Thank you, Donald. Hello everybody, I'm Spiff Spiffman. Any fan questions before we begin? Just call 1-888-9-TIGERS. Hello, Bob from Nikcoro City."

"Hi Spiff, is that really your name?"
"It may or may not be. Anyone else...Lou from Vargas."
"Spiff...how well do you think the Llamaland Tigers will do in this new NS Premier League? I mean, it's...new. The Llamas have never played these teams."
"Lou, I understand that concern, but they have at least two games to figure it out. It's a forty-MD season!"
"Thank you Spiff."
"As for the question...we really don't know."
*Click*
"Now, we'll start with the club matches. Yesterday, Vargas and Apple Valley was the only game. Vargas defeated Apple Valley two-nil to move into second place."
GRAPHIC FLASHES
New Llama 29 Pts.
Vargas 28 Pts.
Nikcoro 28 Pts.
Apple Valley 25 Pts.
Valdesponi 24 Pts.

"I think Vargas is overachieving, their Pythagorean Point Total is 24. Nikcoro's 29, New Llama is at 30. So New Llama is still the team to beat, and Vargas should go back to third."
"Now, to the Llamas or Tigers! First, the first ever FANPOLL!"

Fan Poll: What will you call the Llamanean Team?

TIGERS: 52%
LLAMAS: 47%
OTHER: 1%

"So...the majority of fans think the Llamaland Tigers are playing tomorrow. the Llamas are close behind."

"Now, we have Captain Trevor Duncan with us. Trevor's the attacking midfielder on the Tigers...Llamas...or other."
*Clapping*
"Trevor, how ya doing?"
"Good Spiff."
"What do you call the team? *Laughter*"
"The Team."
"So...record that as 'other', Bob!" *Assistant writes a .00004 next to '1'*
"Trevor, is it true you might leave?"
"Yes, we take this seriously so some guys are staying. This group's been at the World Cup so many times they might want to play through this. And with this only three days a week, maybe we'll do both!"
"Thank you Trevor. But are you?"
"Oh, haha, I think I'm going to play in the world cup. We'll only be gone for three or four MDs here in the reg season, maybe more in the playoffs."
"Ah. Well, Trevor, how are you guys going to build off your first ever qualification!?!?! Round of Sixteen in the Swamp Soccer Cup the Icemark hosted!"
"Oh that was fun, five points in the group stage and a loss in the playoffs. But, yeah, that's a good start and we'll use it to climb higher."
"I'll look forward to seeing you play on Saturday, Trevor versus...FC Gold Loewe on Llamaland SportsCast at 7:00 Capitol Time!"
"Thank you Spiff!" *Clapping, Trevor Leaves*

Colossia's World Of Sport: Football Edition intro plays featuring highlights from the Colossia Football Alliance and The Swallow National Team. The intro ends and cuts to a mid aged english sounding man (Andrew Ferguson) and a young american sounding man (Mike Baxter) standing by a large screen on set.

Furguson:
Welcome football fans along side Mike Baxter, I'm Andrew Ferguson and welcome to a special edition of World Of Sport.

Baxter:
That's right Andy, with so much change in the Colossian sport world including a new, mainstream expending for baseball, two of Colossia's popular and historic clubs kicked off there first ever, nation wide season!

Furguson:
Mauville Tigers FC, and Washington Post finished off last year in the top four of the Madison Premier League in Colossia continuing their reign as one of the recognizable clubs in the country, but how did they match up against international clubs CF Cantones Seleccion, and Dubrack's Town Celtic FC? We go to the highlights!

A graphic of Washington Post vs Dubrack's Town Celtic FC is shown as the played back footage of the early game is played on screen.

Baxter:
Celtic hosted the Maroons in what was a historic event, both teams played well back and forth football till the 24th minute when the Werek brothers strike first in a two on three situation against Moscow, Gallagher and Felipe. Cut to the 38th with a corner opportunity for Celtic, and they dominate it, 2-0 Celtic heading into halftime. After the break Bennett later comes in for Sinclair and he gives the Colonials a large assist Bennett lobs it to the box and 'The Crab' Sebastian Knight strikes, Celtic's led is cut if half in the 63rd. We move to the 74th where Ramos quick passes it to Salvador but what looked like a leveling shot just goes wide. In the 81st the Werek brothers do it again closing the door on Post 3-1 final. Both Robert and Ben Werek both with one goal and assist, and 'Emperor' Dubrackson also picked up a header in the contest. Post played a big second half but fell sort to tie multiple times. Knight picked up a goal with an assist by Bennett. When asked about the second team midfielder, Coen said this:

I enjoyed the lad's energy tonight he proved to be a great edition to the club. Hate to ruin the party in this, but there were other chances and ways to get the ball into the box that lob was too risky. I didn't see it coming and neither did Celtic but if he [Bennett] were to try that against Edinburgh or Sjandle, expect the worse.

Baxter:
Now Andy, do you agree disagree with Coen's statments?

Furguson:
I know little to none about Mr. Bennett so I'm not too sure if he perposly knew the lob was risky. Now I think Coen should have addressed his concern on a bit of a private manor but I understand what he's thinking. Coen as we known was brought up on Post football so he lives off the slow pace, fundamental strategy, and to be fair it has worked wonders in the past. This NS league is a whole new ball game and Coen is putting his club up against an array of teams with different views on the game. Maybe Coen should look more into adapting his strategy and taking more risky chances and use the mind game aspect against their opponents.

Baxter:
Well that leaves us to today's poll, should Coen change the team's format! Go online to WOS.col.com and let us known if you agree, disagree or Justin Bieber! We will take a quick commerical break when we return we look at the nail biting game between Mauville and Cantones Seleccion!

Colossia Sports Today

What's Wrong With Colossian Football?

Hyped up as two of the top favorites thorughout Colossia and NI Media, Washington Post and Mauville Tigers fall into the 13th and 14th spot in the NS Premier League Table. Although its early in the season, many fans felt shivers down their spine when Mauville a team that finished first in the Madison Premier League table fall 1-2 at home to Sjandle Original Sport Club. Not only that, Washington Post; a historical club rich in pride and tradition picked up its second loss to the competitive Monarchy United. Our reporters asked different fans around local bars, pubs and taverns in Republic City with some mixed opinions on the matter. Hey, keep in mind this is the first time the CFA is playing international said a long time Fire Ferret Supporter. It's like a baby learning to walk for the first time, he or she's gonna trip and fall till before it starts to run. Give it [Post and Mauville] some time! It's only been two matches! Some fans were less optimistic about the recent performances. Well of course a team like Mauville will choke at home! says a supporter of the cross-town rival Slateport Celtic. They had all the advantages against the Golden Boys in Ba Sing Se, and what do they do? They choke in penalties the bums! The fan is referring to last years historic Madison League Cup Final between Mauville and Goldenrod City (nicknamed the Good Ole Golden Boys) which ended in dramatic penalties. Despite the positive and negative comments it remains unclear on home soil if it is a time to panic, or its too early to start.

OOC: I for some reason haven't been in the standings or fixtures so I'll try to make an interesting RP of it.

LLAMAS MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEAR FROM STANDINGS ALONG WITH MEMORIES OF FANS

"I thought I saw them win twice but I can't be sure," say fans
Could this be the work of terrorists?

Sportscaster Eddie Duncan summarized it perfectly. "You know, the Llamas are in first, I think, and Duncan has a goal, maybe, and everything is working!...I guess."

It was discovered that all of the information concerning the Llamaland Tiger's performance in the first two games had been WIPED OUT with memories of fans.

A blog post revealed read "Llamas win 2-1, draw next match 3-3, cuz I wrote it down." But the blogger was brutally murdered and the post deleted soon after. TVs malfunctioned everywhere and memories vanished.

Says forensic scientist Donald Moore-Lutz-Francis: "You know, most likely a special wavelength was put in the television and radio that wiped out memories. That's why I have an anti-memory-ray-beam in a living room! Unfortunately, I don't like soccer so I didn't watch."

It's mysterious, sure, but we'll have to see how authorities handle it.

The blogger collapsed onto his keyboard before he could hit ENTER. And the screen turned black.
Then, the computer, along with the house, blew up.

The Llamaland police caught the Memory Ray Terrorists (Jeff Jones, 40, was the leader and faces many years in prison) and the tournament was thankfully restarted. Now, the Llamas can play some soccer!

They started out good with a 28th-minute goal from striker Evan Powell. Powell received a brilliant Bobby Crosby cross from the left side and headered it in!

But things got iffy quick in the second half. Tyson Richards made a fantastic save but the defense couldn't clear the ball and somehow ball met back of net in the fifty-fourth minute. SC Gold Loewe was tied with the Llamas one apiece. The tenseness continued with a few yellows for Bobby Crosby, Mark Wayne, and Richards. But somehow, Richards argued the call and was whistled for a red!

Blake Bennett was in as a sub and will fill in as a starter tomorrow. But Bennett was awful despite an airtight defense and didn't hustle for a slow roller to the right side after a shot to the left. And in the goal went in the eighty-eighth, so SC Gold Loewe took a late 2-1 lead.

Kudos to SC Gold for the comeback win, but PLEASE put Nick DeJesus in there, Bryan Ferguson. And avoid Wayne.

Bryan Ferguson about Bennett: "Well, we'll start trotting out DeJesus when he's ready, but Bennett needs experience, and we'll find some low-leverage situations to get him in there."
