Whilst commiserating UG, I note with interest how apt it was that the final of the Fiftieth CC should have been contested between the two Teams of the Century of the two top leagues at the time.

Also, lol at Franz Josef Young Boys...

Congrats to the winners and all the usual fanfare. Also, job well done to CH on the Clubs of the Century thing. Very interesting to look back at all that history.

Finally, a quick question for those who might know about these things: Was Crystopolis City's Globe Cup quarterfinals run unprecedented for such a low-ranked association (113th)?

It's good, but not unprecedented :P Jan Mayen made the CC semi-finals this time around ranked 188. I also recall some of my own lower ranked teams making it as far as the quarterfinals in the CC before.

Association ranking, not team ranking. If Cyrstopolis City made it to 188th in the team rankings by it's second or third cycle, this discussion of overachieving would probably have come up earlier :P

Ah, my mistake :P good on that one. I recall Kaje Football making it all the way from the first qualifying round to the group stage my first cycle, unranked, but quarterfinals is very impressive.

Ok, with UICA and stuff done, I'll probably be posting my league preview post soon. Here's the link to my original post for those who would like to see some of their players in my league. Follow all the instructions there etc.

I'll also say that if you've already done transfer business with me this season I won't be open to any further business (unless it's for an AWESOME player or something.) I'll close transfers this Sunday as that's probably enough time for those interested to get involved.

I also have some players and needs that have to be signed, so take a look and lets make a deal.
German American States Transfer Oppurtunities
Well, this is my first attempt at getting some international talent, so here goes.
Players up for transfer
Manuel Schmidt, Goalkeeper(SC Gold Loewe)-(14 clean sheets)
Manuel is a decent goalkeeper, ideal for mid-table 1st division teams. He can be spectacular, but he needs a good defense to help him. His hard work has gotten him onto the national team as a backup.
Sold to Viztourzys Kolektyvinis(Buyan)
Reinhardt Schlingmann, Forward(Athletic Weisenfield)-(12 goals, 4 assists)
Rheinhardt is a good forward, with scoring and passing capabilities. He was put on the transfer block because of his dislike for the team, and his inability to mesh with his fellow forward.
Mike Tremmel, Midfielder(Guenwalder)-(7 goals, 9 assists)
Mike is the perfect setup man. He can pass like magic, has amazing touch, and is a team player. What more could you want?
Traded to Southfell United(New Sideburn) for John Pace.
Needs
FK Flussorstaft -Goalkeeper,Forward(signed Garland Gem of New Sideburn)
Flussorstaft was the last place finisher in the GAPL, and was relegated to League United. They need a good goalkeeper to bring them back to the Premier league.
Sporting Eisenport FC: Fullback, Manager
Sporting Eisenport FC was the other team that was relegated to League United. After firing their manager, they need a new one to get them back in the Premier League. Their defense also needs improvement, with multiple fullbacks desired.
SC Gold Loewe: Fullback, Goalkeeper
Loewe is a traditionally good team, and they want to win the league next year. They want a new goalkeeper to work with their struggling defense, and need to shore up their defense.
Athletic Weisenfield- Forward
Atheltic is always a mid-table team, and wants to make a move. They need an x-factor forward to help their offense.

All offers by telegram.

I will close up transfers on Sunday(Eastern Time Zone) so I can write a preseason RP.

Further statistical question, has any club participated in all five competitions? (Currently good enough to qualify for the CC group stage and make the Youth Cup, historically has won something to make the Super Cup, but was outside the first division to make the SBCC?) If not, what about "all but the Super Cup"?

Now back to plotting my clubs' nefarious search for loopholes. Thanks for the historical flashback, and statistical overload!

Also, I forget which of my bygone random-factoid browsings made me curious about which associations corresponded to which host cities, but for some reason that was a thing I had wanted to see. So, thanks also for that update, haha.

Hampshire United: Players For Sale!

So Hampshire United has some extra players due to management buying some foreigners to make their team have a stronger fighting chance in the increasingly difficult league that is the FCL. Hampshire United has 3 players to offer to any team in the multiverse, one defender and two midfielders. Here is the list of three players.

Defenders

Tomás Coleman {Age: 20} -

Tomás is one talented individual, he is young and has a promising career in football ahead, just not in Hampshire United, which decided to place him for sale due to fact the team hired foreign talent and he was the odd man out. He is very high speed, has average strength, but is prone to causing dirty fouls and getting warned although his ways of talking to the referees somehow keep him from getting yellow cards. He is good in the locker room (no scandals) and is a potential leader. He has high level of stamina.

Midfielders

Hadley Caiden {Age: 31} -

Hadley is a aging professional, well at least in Felixian terms, he has 5 years left in the gas tank and can be a reliable midfielder. He is a natural leader with younger players but dislikes a people the same age as him, oddly enough he has great respect for older players. He has below average speed, but great strength. He is a great short and long range passer that is known for his proficiency in corner kicks. He has a average level stamina. He is terrible at defending but he has a little bit of a chance at getting better at it, but he is mainly a attacking midfielder.

Theobald Bret {Age: 26} -

Theobald like Tomás is a talented player. Overall he can play in both in defensive roles and offensive ones. He has above average stamina and speed but has below average strength. He can get more fit and get a higher level of strength and stamina. He has a short range passing skill that is very well but he has a average long range skill. He is very good at taking orders with captains and leaders of the game. He is a somewhat accurate shooter but is better at heading the ball into the net. He was put down the ranks as Hampshire United due to new foreign players being hired.

In a related note the offer from Santa Maria F.C is still open due to the fact that Kazuo Minami, coach of the U-15 World Champion Felixian National Team, declined the offer to coach the team.

From earlier

Santa Maria F.C leadership was disappointed with the managing job from Bengochea, especially this year with Santa Maria F.C finishing dead last and Santa Maria City winning the FCL. Santa Maria F.C will be looking locally and internationally for a replacing Bengochea. Oddly enough the team is still keeping Mercedes Bengochea, wife of the former manger, is still staying and she is currently managing the new farm team, Athelico Vigo from the second division. Whether she will stay in Santa Maria F.C will be the decision of the new manager.

(TG me any offers. c:)

SJG Transfer Market open:

Rodolfo Zelaya (Age: 25, Striker)
Zelaya is probably the most talented player in all SJG, he has an awesome dribbling and an excellent mid distance shot, with a great phisical condition and a really high speed player, he has a promising carrer on football, he decided to move to a foreign country because he want to upgrade his talent and try to suceed abroad, Right now, Alianza F.C. (SJG PL Champions) owns his transfer ID.

Darwin Ceren (Age:22, Midfielder)
He won the MVP Of the SJG National PL in Opening Championship of 2012, he plays in Juventud Independiente (9th place in SJG PL), a middle table team in SJG, he has high speed, good dribbling and a great talent to kick penalties, he want to go abroad to try a better future for his carrer and upgrade his talent to apply them in SJG NT

Meyson Salume (Age: 19, Defender)
He's the best promise in the defence of all SJG, he won a place on the Ideal Eleven Closening Championship 2013, he plays in Luch Energiya Primorye (14 th Place in SJG PL), he has a lot of confidence, good phisical condition and an awesome aerial game.

Please TG me if you're interested and give me your offer (Contract and $)

I've had Tolven, Reinheim Metro, maybe another I'm not seeing do 'all but super cup' from mine. Reinheim made it to the quarters of the CC, which is the closest either came to winning.

Way back before the time they became Divisjon One champions and serial CC group stage qualifiers, Northbrook Diamonds lost an SBCC final, if that's the kind of thing we're talking about?

FC Axel Heiburg, Forest Hill FC, Jamaica Giants, and Selyne City Athenians. (I had actually already looked into that myself.)

Jungle Strike FC and San Solari FC are the only clubs to have played in three of the four UICA finals, each losing both a Champions’ Cup and a Globe Cup final, but respectively winning the Youth Cup and Series B Champions’ Cup.

I'm currently looking for players who would be interested in playing in the Gordonopia PRemier League, which is currently the third best in the world, as well as the home of the runner-up of the most recent Champions' League, FC Deska (also the fourth ranked club in the world). The GPL receives 7 UICA spots, meaning that over a third of its teams play in international competition.

A few points for interested players/associations:

-As I recently signed several prospects from new 'on the rise' nations thanks to the BoF, I'm not really looking for players from national teams outside of the top-50ish, or on clubs in the UICA top 100/associations in the top 15 or so. Maybe if they are the outright star and a bit lower ranked, but not for the most part.

-Players currently on their respective national teams will be given priority, and if they are a starter, especially on a top ranked team (ranked in the top 10 or 15), I will try to find them a spot on one of the stronger clubs.

-Because it is a major feeder for my own NT and has a couple internationals already, there are only one or two possible spots on the aforementioned FC Deska, namely in midfield and forward positions, which will only go to a NT starter among the top 10. This will likely be the case for Teva FC and Basin Plain, the other two teams that are virtually guaranteed UICA spots and have been in a dominant triumvirate over recent seasons, though they will be willing to look a bit lower as well.

-If a player's club is relegated, I will give them the chance to have their player released/transferred.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

All teams in the Lhigha Arka are looking for some new international talent to bolster their rosters.

There is one major rule. Only women.

Ark is a matriarchal dictatorship and no men are allowed to compete in the football league here. Any male players, even transgender will be rejected. Species irrelevant.

The Teams:

The Ables and The Ordinarys (TAATO)
TAATO have yet to lose the league, qualifying for the Globe Cup the last two years. A hard-working and close-knit team. They play high pressure football, monopolising ruthlessly upon any mistake by their opponents.

The Officers XI
The Officers are frequently snapping at the heels of TAATO. They possess some great individual talent, but a mercurial team chemistry is often their undoing. Bold and often risky counterattacking play is their forte.

Arkan F.C.
The humble underdogs of the league. They have yet to really challenge in the league but are hoping a new player or two or a new manager could turn this around. A defensive team, all to reliant upon long ball attacking.

Should you have any players (or managers for that matter) wishing to compete in the multiverse's smallest league (in association with Shplojtm). Please TG Paradystopia with any offers. I ask for a short biog with each player to establish how they would fit in at their chosen club. When I say short, two or three sentences would be sufficient as long as I get a gist of who the player is.

Again, no men.

If anyone would like to have players or managers in one of the 7th-ranked Astograthian First Division or the 11th-ranked Iturributan Premier Division, please send me a TG with details and we can work something out. Though not limited to these, the following clubs are particularly in need of certain players; they are fairly high-ranking within the UICA so I'll be selecting accordingly, though without any rigid frame of reference. There are, of course, openings at less prestigious sides:

  • 6th-ranked Sporting Iturributa require at least one quality forward and a left midfielder and a qualified manager.
  • 7th-ranked Ituraitz FC are looking for a centre midfielder and a right midfielder.
  • 12th-ranked Royal Rumiatzi need a right-back and a forward.

All the players in the Sangtian National Team and the Alitaban National Team (except for Serafino Dimaala and Marcelo Katigbak, you will know why for the latter in the qualifiers) are available for international transfer, particularly Daren Corsiga, who is rumored to have expressed his desire to leave Sangtian football after scoring zero goals for Olympique Leonde.

Also, Deportivo Nespa and Real Cintore are looking for foreign talent to bolster their squads for future UICA and Esportivan competitions. We are looking into UICA leagues in any range until our rank. Any rank below Sangti will be for consideration.

Deportivo Nespa is looking for a new forward, following the retirement of Jervin Datu, their top scorer. Real Cintore is looking for a defender to improve their defense further.

TG all offers to my puppet Fipino Federation.
