Unless the system has changed for this cycle, you can do that as I switched from Backyard Sports to the Crystal Empire as my UICA puppet last cycle.

Edit: Ninja'd by Tae. I might edit something else in here later that has something to do with transfers.

That said you will have 0 rank for all those teams and will start on square one with that league.

If my domestic cup winner also qualifies for UICA, what do I do? Should I enter the cup winner in both the Cygnus Cup and the relevant UICA tournament or should I enter my domestic cup runner-up in the Cygnus Cup?

Cygnus Cup entrants are cup winners only, so you have to enter the cup winner to the Cygnus Cup.

IC'ly, the Cygnus Cup takes place after the UICA cycle finishes, so a team can participate in both without clashes.

Since NS doesn't run in real time, I think of all the different seasons/tournaments/cups/etc. as happening during different times of the IC year. If it isn't realistic enough, heck, this is a game.

TRANSFER REQUESTS FOR NEXT SEASON
(Posting now to prepare WC66 roster ahead of time, and finalise power ranks before scorination)

As the 332 season begins, several sides jostling for the UICA places in the (hopefully) rapidly-rising NSB Premiership are significantly strengthening their squads in anticipation for the coming season. The transfer fees have been raised to a ten million cap, however teams will as of yet be reluctant to spend that much; five-six million is a significant investment, eight million is probably a realistic limit, but they'll be looking for bargains close to the end of their contracts.
CRISISBLESS, a team that was one of the four great powers of the league only five years ago, seeks to regain its peak power; with the addition of a TARGET MAN, a CENTRAL DEFENDER and a LEFT MIDFIELDER, they'll have one foot in the UICA places, and will be able to start all over again.
MAXIMUM CITY, a side priding itself on its staunch defence and coming out of a tough season, require a CENTRE-FORWARD and a CENTRAL MIDFIELDER. They may also be open to a foreign MANAGER.
The SABREFELL MOTHS, who are historically the most powerful club in New Sideburn but recently came fourth (their lowest finish in eleven years), are looking to retake a title they see as rightfully theirs. They will require a STRIKER to replace club and country legend Gerhard Thunder, and a GOALKEEPER.
PARRHESIA UNITED have had a rough couple of seasons, and badly need a new GOALKEEPER and LEFT WINGER. They'll have a good shot at the Top Six with these additions, though UICA is distinctly unlikely... as of yet.
NORTH LAITHLAND, the side that most trusts in youth (a policy that appears to be paying off, given their steadily improving finishes), are edging closer to the top four every year; they're most likely to seal the deal with a CENTRAL DEFENDER. If Riordan's leaving, they'll need an OLD GOALKEEPER to cover for a couple of years before their backup comes of age.
BRINEMOUTH, the nouveau riche of the Premiership, are looking for a GOALKEEPER, RIGHT MIDFIELD and RIGHT-BACK to mount a powerful title challenge.
SABREFELL ATHLETIC are this year's runners-up, but need a sturdier defence to equal Treason's power; a LEFT-BACK, CENTRE-BACK and LEFT MIDFIELDER would secure a bid for the title.
GOODFEATHER, in all bluntness, are a mediocre side but they finished badly last campaign and I want an excuse to raise their power level because A) I like them and B) Barunia's no. 1 plays for them and I don't want him to be relegated. They need a STRIKER, and assuming Gareth Crowley moves on require a LEFT MIDFIELDER to replace him.
TREASON, the reigning champions for two consecutive seasons, need a GOALKEEPER to replace the retiring James Turnscrew and a CENTRE-BACK to replace the mediocre Ray Waters.

Four players are also expected to leave, the Sideburnese left midfielder GARETH CROWLEY, wingback ANNA SHRIKE, North Laithland goalkeeper KIERON RIORDAN and the Brenecian MIRIAM SPITFIRE.
Crowley, currently playing for Goodfeather FC, is one of New Sideburn's best young players at the age of 23 and now that Cheney Rosewood is in his late twenties and his legs are falling off can make a real contest for a starting position, which playing for a more powerful team would secure in his favour. He is very fast and doesn't shrink from a fight, very much the stereotypical Sideburnese winger. He's good with long shots, too.
Shrike's been a mainstay of the national team since the Baptism of Fire. Often criticised for lack of defensive attentiveness, she more than makes up for it with relentless upfield runs. She works best in a partnership with a winger who likes to cut inside, complementing them with a penchant for crossing and the ability to cover their runs.
Riordan (nee Nocturnal) is twenty-seven, has just won the Iron Gauntlet after spearheading North Laithland to a good finish. He's ambitious, and is looking to compete with national treasure Portia Thrift for the first-team slot... though being ten years younger, time is decidedly on his side. He prides himself on distribution, acrobatics and the ability to perform under pressure.
24-year old Miriam Spitfire is an athletic left winger with a thunderous left boot and uncanny accuracy with passing and shooting. While not strong or especially fast, her stamina ensures she will generally go the distance every game.
Other players on the rosters of the NSFA teams are also able to be sold; TG for details.

After winning the title, something had to happen, right? Project +90 was entered at the International FireStorm Cup.. only to fall in the later rounds of the tournament. So obviously, the trainer Demitri Martin, the Third, couldn't help but to say that the next target was, obviously, a better squad and that they would roam the lands once again, searching for new talent. They did manage to find some nice pieces, as the team managed to sign the three Punhemba brothers, aside from the interesting Al-Hossei of Balm and some of the players of that legendary squad that played the first Under-15 World Cup, as Peach, Sonny Blade, Fawler, O' Haile and Alfrendique finally signed a contract with the "Stars of the Future".

The team, however, now had another deal that would take them some players out. The NSIFC outlawed the "competition" between both tiers, Sunrise League Junior and Sunrise League Development. The teams of the Junior tournament would receive players from the U-15 area, while players with 15 years and so on would be able to play at the Development tournament. Sunrise League One to Five sides, however, will only be able to field players with a minimum of 17 years of age, thus making some players stay at the Development tier as an obligation. This pushed a couple of prospects, but the team believes this is for a greater good, as they will be slightly more refined.

OOC: This is just an invitation. If you want to send a couple of players to get a year of development and playing time against the reserves of an uprising football league in the NS Sports scenario (that has already debuted at the Aeropag Invitational), send their details on a TG to Northern Sunrise Islands. Scouted Talent can also be signed and will relocate from the team the following season they are chosen, while Players Sent from International Teams are just there to obtain more playing time and train.

The Cygnus Cup, also known as the "Cup Winners' Cup", is a non-UICA competition for domestic cup winners only, and in order to be able to enter a team into it, you must submit scorination evidence of a domestic cup or at least, of its final match. Winners of Supercup-esque competitions may not be entered.

I think this goes here...

Antonio Leggièri, sixty years of age with twenty years of managing experience wants to move on from Felixian Domestic leagues and wants to take on a new challenge. He is interested in managing a international team or a major club team. He has a history of winning championships and almost won in the 2009-2010 FCL season losing by a close margin. If he doesn't not find a job soon he will retire from managing and will live the rest of his life in a villa in Altomare, Felix.

(TG me if interested in hiring Leggièri.)

Santa Maria F.C leadership was disappointed with the managing job from Bengochea, especially this year with Santa Maria F.C finishing dead last and Santa Maria City winning the FCL. Santa Maria F.C will be looking locally and internationally for a replacing Bengochea. Oddly enough the team is still keeping Mercedes Bengochea, wife of the former manger, is still staying and she is currently managing the new farm team, Athelico Vigo from the second division. Whether she will stay in Santa Maria F.C will be the decision of the new manager.

(TG me if interested in the open slot.)

(Sorry for the double post folks.)

Hello, hello! Felix just ended another great season of football and some clubs in Felix needs some players! Here is the list for the players needed in each team.

Santa Maria City (2010-2011 FCL CHAMPIONS)-

Needs a Defender, legendary Xuan Ernesto recently retired and they need a replacement, now the replacement doesn't have to be as good as him right now but he or she needs the talent to become a great player in the future. Santa Maria City recently won the FCL championship and has a good amount of money to offer to any team to buy the player.

Napoli (6th)-

Needs a forward. With the retirement of two forwards in one year they need a player that can be developed into a solid forward in the future. The Napoli team finished in a solid fashion this year and might be a dark horse candidate to win the FCL for next season. Napoli is willing to spend a little bit more to get a great player with a lot of talent.

Cato (5th)-

Needs a forward as well. With Ralph Herbertsson retiring they need a change of pace when it comes to forwards, instead of getting a pass ordinated forward they need a striker with the potential to shoot from long range, basically, a killer at any range. He or she might be a immediate starter for the club but will compete with the current lineup. Cato is a another dark horse to win the FCL as they finished 5th this season and 3rd the season before.

(TG me your players that might be interested.)

There was a tentative date that has since come and gone. Although I've no official standing with the cutoff deadline, I'd nonetheless advise that if you've scorinated your domestic league to post it now and submit your UICA competition qualifiers.

I'm confused.

Why are you concerned about when the deadline is, if you have your own, self-imposed deadline of tomorrow night?

Lym: commerce heights has said in the past that the provided deadline at the end of a uica cycle is purely tentative. He gives a one week warning for when he's actually ready to put it together, and that has yet to come.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

Does the Cygnus Cup use UICA coefficients? If so, does that mean that a nation which enters a team only for the Cygnus Cup and not the UICA competitions will never accrue a ranking for the Cygnus Cup?

Yes, indirectly.

Unranked UICA teams still get a rank for scorination through their national association. The exact formula is up to Wight, though.

Thank you for the reply. My question, though, is whether an unranked association (e.g. Texacano in my case) would ever accrue a ranking for the Cygnus Cup without ever entering the UICA competitions?

Without participating in the UICA competitions, no. You will have the base ranking each time you enter the Cygnus Cup until such time as you accrue ranking in the UICA.

Many thanks, both.

Special Report: A Announcement.

By: Antonio Leggièri

Well as you have heard in the local and international media outlets, I have left my beloved Altomare in hopes of finding new challenges overseas. I have received 3 offers from 3 different nations over the week and a half my search was made public. After talking to family, friends and advisors, I have come to a decision. I will be sending my talents to Spit City in Wight. While I have been offered a chance to coach a team in New Sideburn (Maximum) and the SJG national team, I didn't find them to be the perfect fit. The up and coming Partisan Spit team has caught my eye and it seems like a nice lasting challenge before I retire from managing.

Partisan Spit. Located in a cold, cold, Spit City. Very different from the warm nearly tropical like climate of Altomare. I will heading to Spit in a week as I prepare to say goodbye to my family. I hope I can be one of the keys for Partisan Spit winning major tournaments Wight has to offer. I don't know when I will return to Felix but it won't be anytime soon. I thank the clubs and national teams that offered me a chance to manage aboard I hope your managerial search ends soon and you will find yourself with a solid coach. That is all I have to say today, until next time. Ciao.

Not to blow my own trumpet, but I know a lot of you like those fact boxes I set up for my top flight teams. Obviously, season to season I only post those of the team in my top flight as part of the league preview. However, I do now have boxes for all of my teams made and uploaded (the 130 that are in the league at any one time and the 31 overflow that promote/relegate up to the lowest FPIFA tier).

These I will be storing for safe keeping in my domestic newswires thread, in this post. For the dozen or so of you who might be interested, go nuts. Teams are arranged alphabetically first by state, then by town, then by team name.
