Mytanar Transfer List.

Just a couple of players this time - and one not even based in Mytannion - oh lord this is too much excitement!

ST - Iivari Kaitanen - 22 - CAP (Valladares) - 55 international caps, 28 international goals.
A striker of this pedigree does not come up for transfer often but given CAP's under performance this season, which certainly wasn't due to the striker, Kaitanen has decided it is time to move on and look for pastures new. He is obviously a clinical striker having scored 93 goals in 158 games in his domestic career (including 62 in 114 in the Valladar league), and then 28 in 55 international caps. That is more than a goal every every two games at the top level of the game, with the current World Cup qualifying campaign still ongoing. He ghosts into areas behind defenders where they don't want him and his speed to get ahead of them is scary. He is quick and uses this weapon often. He is a bit of a goal poacher, but it works so well for him. He is expert at bending his run to stay onside and often when the pass is played through is out on his own because of how quick he is. His finishing is good and he is decent in the air for someone who is only 5'9, but he is just cerebral when the ball falls to him in the box or when he uses his speed to move past defenders and then lash home a strike. Only clubs in the top 60 of the UICA rankings for the Season 46 cycle may apply.

AM - Aleksandr Kulikov - 23 - FC Ararat Severyan - 18 international caps, 3 international goals.
Aleks Kulikov isn't so much a goalscorer as a creator, though he is a more direct option in the attacking midfield role for the international side than the first choice, Snerik Oiskha. Kulikov is a great talent. He doesn't get involved in the nitty gritty of the game too much and instead becomes almost a third striker as he plays in an advanced position. He's a more direct attacking midfielder than Snerik Oiskha, making aggressive runs towards defenders, trying to take them on and get in position to take a shot at goal. For his club side, he reverts to the creative role, assisting in play and trying to help in the build-up as much as possible. He is also more defensive too, at club level, often moving back to help his midfield defend if the situation calls for it. He's looking for a change so he can try and strengthen his grip on the second choice role at national team level, with him facing criticism recently at home for a run of poor form that coincided with FC Ararat falling out of the title race last season. A move abroad could be what he needs.

CM - Srdjan Pannewitz - 22 - FC Ararat Severyan - 6 international caps, 1 international goal.
A more defensive option in midfield. An excellent passer of the ball and also an excellent tackler. He'll break-up the play and move the ball on. He's also fairly good at moving late from midfield to join in on attacking moves high up the field, but he does enjoy playing the more dogged defensive side of the game, in the deeper role. It's not like he doesn't score goals either, having contributed with 23 goals in 68 games in his club career. He can pick a good pass but that's definitely something he'll work on, his shooting accuracy could be utilised better too - with him being good from the dead ball situations, sometimes surprisingly so. He's one for the future and someone who will be able to go on playing for years. He's being prepared to move up onto the substitutes bench for the next World Cup cycle, where he'll be expected to perform more regularly on the field. He's definitely got the potential to be a future starter, anyway. Only clubs from the top 30 ranked leagues according to the UICA rankings of the Season 46 cycle may apply.

The following players have been released by their teams and are now looking for moves abroad. Their ability depends on how you RP them if you choose to take them on:
Lukas Klein - 22 - LM - formerly of Fk Arsika, FC Arsenal Vershina
Rizvan Kadyrov - 18 - GK - formerly of Arka Snezhnaya
Benjamin Abendrov - 18 - ST - formerly of Liria Prizren

The following players are available on a one season loan in order to aid their development. They will be expected to play in the first team regularly in order to gain experience before returning to their parent club:
Fridtjof Omhdahl - 21 - CM - 1.FFC Turbine Decraa
Max Bader - 19 - CB - 1896 Ebor
Kurt Doen - 18 - CM - Atletik Thessia
Marko Maurer - 19 - LB - FC Ararat Severyan

Bids in TGs only, please.

Three players from the Filopines Premier League are looking to play abroad:

Name - Position - Age - Current Club - Height (metres)

Paul Shorten - RW - 27- Palace - 1.80
Shorten is a very popular player for Palace after moving from the recently relegated Mandori Blues before the start of Season 4. In Season 4, he ranked 5th highest in assists. He is very talented but his aggressiveness almost overshadows his abilities; he was given 10 yellow cards and 3 red cards last season. Palace coach, Ian Longer says that he has been seeing 'a doctor type thingy' to calm him down. He was named in the league's Team of the Year in Season 2. He can also play CAM. He has had 6 caps for the national team.

Jared Del Mar - CB - 30 - Barnton Warriors - 1.94
Formerly a regular at his previous club, Kildrummie FC, Del Mar has been struggling to fit in to the matchday squad since joining Barnton. He only started 5 matches and came on as a sub in 8. Possibly one of the reasons why he can't get games is because of the quality of Barnton's players (Barnton were the champions in Season 4). Despite his age, Del Mar claims that he still has about three quarters of a decade left in him and can still improve. You should also know that he has an afro hairstyle so have fun with your RP's with him. He is rather quick for a centre back. 92% of his career goals were headers. He can also play CDM. He has not played for the national team yet.

Rory Charlton - ST - 22 - Port Affley United - 1.72
Charlton is a very quick on his feet and was hailed as one of the best athletes in the FPL before a career-threatening injury. At the age of 16, he was signed by Ebbtoll Fury (Season 1 champions, then known as Ebbtoll Sharks) and was immediately selected to the senior team. He was a star for the u-18 Filopines team and was on the cusp of the senior national team. However, at the age of 19, after scoring 13 goals after 12 games in FPL Season One, he injured his right ACL and missed the rest of the season and Season 2 and the first part of Season 3. That was his first ever sporting injury in his life. He was released by Ebbtoll and the end of Season 3 and was signed by Port Affley United for Season 4. He played every game bar one in Season 4 and was the club's highest goalscorer with 10. They only were 2 points away from qualifying in the Globe Cup. He is improving and his current coach says that he is about 2-3 season off reaching his potential before the injury. He can also play RW and LW. He has not played for the national team yet.

Signed by Shanak FC (Patricant)

All offers must be made via telegram.

Mytanar Transfer List.

Just reiterating this because I want to get these shifted, they need new homes though (whether full-time or for a rental period), so get bidding for the remaining fellas:

Project +90's second season ended with a title win.

Finally beating the Development Division without difficulties last season in an outstanding run, the rookies of the team turn sophomores as they may now look forward to another title win over the odds of the rivals at the league. With that, Project +90 knows that they will need more force in order to remain in the top of the ladder, so once again, they return to recruit young players from outside who may eventually shine in the lands of football.

OOC: This is just an invitation. If you want to send a couple of players to get a year of development and playing time against the reserves of an uprising football league in the NS Sports scenario, send their details on a TG to Northern Sunrise Islands. Scouted Talent can also be signed and will relocate from the team the following season they are chosen, while Players Sent from International Teams are just there to obtain more playing time and train.

This is primarily a reminder that I still have four players left to sell, one of which, Will Fich, is a national team player who I'm keen to see move to a good club within the top 30! Link to original post is here.

Some Apoxian clubs are also looking for some new players:

Dwile Warriors: The Warriors are looking for a top-class midfielder who is able to supply forwards well and create a lot of chances. Price range: £2-5 million

Urbanista: Urbanista are looking for a defender, preferably versatile to help them finally get some silverware which they have not come across much recently. Price range: £1.4-2.5 million

FC Brimstone: FC Brimstone are looking for a fast winger or good defensive midfielder as they hope to improve upon winning their first silverware, the Marshall Cup this season, in order to see them gain a Globe Cup spot next season. Price range: £1-3 million

FC Endeavour: Newly promoted last season, FC Endeavour are aiming to establish themselves as a top flight team, with a long term building plan to seem them challenging for UICA spots within the next 2 seasons, and challenging for the title within the next 5. They are looking for a centre defender or a central midfielder. Price range: £800k-2 million

Barbury Town: Barbury are always looking for a good deal, and they tend to find some hidden gems, bringing out all of their potential when playing for their team. They are looking for a defender after club captain Chris Neguwa retired last season. Price range: £500k-£1.2 million

Issington F.C: The big boys of the league financially, Issington will be wanting to add to an already star-studded squad to regain the title next season. They are not really fussy which position someone plays in, their just on the look out for a top player. Price range: £3-8 million

If anybody has players who would like to play in the third best league in the UICA, featuring top sides including world champions Ituraitz FC, feel free to send me a TG and we can work something out. There are plenty of openings at the less fashionable clubs, and young players in particular have great chances of moving up in the world if they prove interesting enough. Iturributa United and Sporting Iturributa, from the 11th-ranked Iturributan Premier Division, are also very interested in some new international signings.

I'm flattered, Kishrael.
I really don't mind people using formats I've devised, but a quick TG to just check it's okay first might be, y'know, polite?

In other news, there are two ways (yes, two!) that I am opening up my league to your interactions.

1)
The coming season will be my last with my current sponsors, so there are the usual sponsorship contracts up for bidding. If you wish your company to bid for and sponsor one of the following five-season contracts with the FPIFA, then send my puppet Bleak Rock a TG with a short description of the interested company, as well as a suitable logo. Alcohol and caffeine sponsors are fine, but no tobacco or other recreational drug companies, please. Weapons manufacturers will also likely not be successful bidders.

The contracts available are as follows (In probable order of status):
a) Divisjon One
b) Latitude Cup
c) Divisjon Two
d) Divisjon Three
e) Challenge League (including both East and West Divisjons, as well as the Challenge Cup)
f) Regional League (including the Western, Central, North-Eastern, and South-Eastern Premier leagues, as well as the Regional Trophy)

Please indicate in your TG which contract you are bidding for. Or, if you're not fussed, I will also accept floating bids that are happy to just end up anywhere.

2)
Starting this season in Bleak Rock, the Polarian season will open with a 'charity shield' style match between the previous season's Divisjon One champions and the winners of the Latitude Cup (or league runners-up in a league and cup double scenario). Dubbed the Vennskap Shield, each season it will be played in a different foreign location, starting with Bleak Rock.

If you would like to host this match in the future, send another TG (or the same one) to Bleak Rock with a paragraph about your stadium detailing its location, usual tenants, capacity, interesting features etc, and a picture if you have one, and I will use these details in a good old fashioned match report to kick off my season. Feel free to also throw in any details about your nation that may be relevant.

I won't be asking this every season, but will instead just pick one from the list of saved TGs so if you are not picked next season, you never know, you might be picked three seasons from now.

The only IC details you need stick to, is that 75% of the income generated by the match is donated to local grass-roots charities (that you can stipulate or not, I don't mind), and that half of the ticket allocation goes to fans of each team I'm sending to you, so 25% for each team and the remaining 50% for you to distribute as you wish. For the match report itself, you need not supply any 'dramatic RP storyline' or anything like that. It's just a plain and simple season opening exhibition match.

3)
Polarian teams will also be looking through WC RPs for new players at some point in the near future. So if you fancy a player or two in the (somehow) second best league in the multiverse, keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks.

Allinlian League stadiums looking for companies to purchase naming rights!

link to domestic newswire and Allinlian Soccer League: http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=235569&p=14007755#p14007755

In Allinlian Soccer league news, most of the naming rights contracts for Allinlian Soccer League stadiums have expired and the league's teams wish to open up naming rights to foreign companies. The Allinlian Soccer league is a highly competitive and professional single tier league. ASL matches continuously score high ratings and passionate Allinlian fans are fiercely loyal to their teams and regularly sell out arenas. This is a great opportunity for companies to introduce themselves to the lucrative and untapped Allinlian market in a very visible, dynamic, and effective manner.

The Following teams are offering to sell the naming rights to their stadiums for the standard market price for such sponsorships:

-Revington PowerGroup

-Brineport Destroyers

-Wansai Cascades

-Yanda Warthogs

-Tortuna Tropics

-Laquete Gators

-Sullo Robins

-Avalloca Aztecs

-Dallint Wildcats

-Maigrin Sultans

-Seguin Rattlers

-Oalinwoth Stags

-Welling Meteors

-Charlai Torpedos

-Bellong Roughnecks

-Patronus CoffeeDrinkers

-Marlboro Sharks

-Caoloon Dragons (Triskelion Field)

-Fonzona BigRigs

-Tallos Warriors

-Grand Titans

If you are interested in having one of these teams having their home stadium named after a company from your nation send a telegram to me with the name of your company and the team from this list that you would like it to be associated with. I will TG back the full name if approved (whether it will be [company name] field, arena, center, stadium, coliseum, etc. depends on what type of building the team has. It will be mostly first come first serve for which team you get.

Anyone looking to connect their domestic football with United Gordonopia by either signing Gordonopian players or sending contracts with my teams should TG me. Right now, the Gordonopia Premier League is 7th in the world, with some pretty good potential to move up over the next UICA cycle or two, so it is an excellent destination for players from any nation. Gordonopian players have also shown skill on the international level, currently ranking int he top 30 in the world for the National Team (hopefully I'll stay in there when the next rankings come out), and over the last two cycles the National Team has placed fourth in the World Cup and third in the Cup of Harmony. I look forward to any and all inquiries.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

ACADEMY PROSPECTS SEEKING FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT
These are New Sideburn's best prospects, and they are willing to seek experience abroad. Any not signed now will likely sign on to a local side by the end of the current (329) season. Please only contact if you keep your league active and up to date - if you fail to update your league for long enough (two or three UICA cycles), I'll foist them back onto one of my own sides.

GOALKEEPERS
Honey Steele - 19, F - Right-footed - Maximum
Hired by Saintragler Rovers, NSI
Fast on her feet and intelligent. Lacks physical presence.

Harry Grimm - 18, M - Left-footed - Vermillion
Tall, lanky. Not fast, but excellent positioning.

Reece Coleman - 20, M - Right-footed - Chenoworth Hired by Real Oakwood, Eura
Large, strong, imposing. Makes rash decisions.

DEFENDERS
Angela Ross - 19, F - Sabrefell - Strongly right-footed - Right wingback
Hired by Bridgeport, Felix
Lanky, good on the attack and clever.

Marcos Strong - 17, M - Treason - Right-footed - Rightback Hired by Antares, Scorpio
Not fast, and not much good on the attack, but very good at his job. Shows leadership.

Lucas Hoffer - 18, M - Treason - Strongly left-footed - Centre-back Hired by Altomare, Felix
Subpar ball control, but a powerhouse in the air.

Brent Lectern - 19, M - Brinemouth - Left-footed - Centre-back Hired by Saintragler Rovers, NSI
Poor at judging the ball’s flight, but excellent with it on the ground.

Tara Dante - 17, F - Crisisbless - Strongly left-footed - Leftback
Competent all-around, though a little ill-disciplined.

James Sleet - 19, M - Brinemouth - Left-footed - Left wingback
Okay defensively, but his true potential is in attack, preferably on the counter.

MIDFIELDERS
Joan Grey - 20, F - Brinemouth - Slightly left-footed - Defensive midfielder
Hired by Saintragler Rovers, NSI
Good on the ball, clever, and great with free kicks, but slow to sprint.

Tony Beard - 19, M - Maximum - Slightly right-footed - Right midfielder Hired by Saintragler Rovers, NSI
Great crosses and corners, though his workrate could be better.

Michael Brandon - 20, M - Crisisbless - Slightly left-footed - Central midfielder Hired by Directus, Eura
Intelligent, and will never stop running. Strong with passing, weak with shooting.

Rhianna Bartok - 18, F - Sabrefell - Strongly right-footed - Left midfielder Hired by Bendis, the Icemark
In the mould of Arjen Robben; great at cutting inside and shooting, abysmal at her traditional role.

Adrienne Eastway - 16, F - Sabrefell - Slightly left-footed - Attacking midfielder
Extremely talented with the ball at her feet, but doesn’t know her own ability. Unselfish to a fault.

STRIKERS
Ryan Linen - 17, M - Sabrefell - Right-footed - Striker (supporting)
Hired by Saintragler Rovers, NSI
Prone to streaks of bad form, but can tackle and pass better than 90% of other strikers.

Jake Valentine - 18, M - Chenoworth - Left-footed - Striker (target man) Hired by Oceania, Felix
He’s a big dude, and surprisingly good with the ball at his feet, too. Prone to letting frustration slip.

Keith Rowland - 19, M - Treason - Slightly right-footed - Striker (fast guy) Hired by Bastion Lions, Eura
5’8” and wiry, but uncannily skilled with the ball.

Last season Dartmoor's 21 year stay in the Gold League of Eura came to an end as several years of decline and debt caught up with them. The one consistent player they've had in that time is arguably Ender Wiggin. Even last season when his team could only muster a pathetic 39 goals, he managed to bag 13 (Exactly a third) of them himself, and his career goal tally for Dartmoor is well over a hundred. He is the star player for a Taeshan side which has reached at least the Round of 16 at the last three World Cups, and his tally of 44 goals in 105 games shows potent goalscoring ability. Best played as a striker on the right side or a lone centre forward, he's certainly worth the £15m price tag, but he will only move to a big club.

TOM RILEY
Age: 30
Nationality: Eura
Position: CM
International Caps: 71
International Goals: 8
Team: Directus
Approx. Value: £10m

Though Directus finished a respectable 3rd last season, arguably the second biggest club in the country were rocked by a transfer request from midfielder Riley. He's been a regular for Eura since the famous run at the 60th World Cup, notching up 71 caps and 8 goals along the way. His link with the now retiring Steve Thompson of Ulsa (who have won three consecutive titles) has lead to him becoming an outstanding deep lying playmaker to play behind a more attack minded midfielder. Though as his international record and his regular tally of 5-10 goals in the league shows, he can still contribute a good number of goals to the cause.

GEOFF DAY
Age: 28
Nationality: Eura
Position: AM/ST
International Caps: 5
International Goals: 1
Team: Bastion
Approx. Value: £8m

Geoff Day has been at Bastion for a number of years and started off in the striker role, which he had played in at his previous club, notching up regular 15-20 goal tallies in the process. However a lack of international appearances and a role in a deeper position for Bastion (At centre attacking midfielder) has left him very unhappy. He now wants to move to another club, with a more central role to the attacking lineup so he can score regularly again. This may also revive his fortunes at an international level.

All offers have to be made by the end of today.

CALLING ON ALL NS SPORT PARTICIPANTS

I, the Pazhujeb Islands, am rebooting my national football league, the Ivesh Bulah. I am creating all-new players and immediately retiring everybody else (though old characters will continue to be RPed as though they had retired during my time off). I am also making the decision to allow foreign nationals to participate in my top flight once again.

However, since my coefficient is in the toilet as a result of my time away, I am going to be RPing new foreign additions in unusual ways.

Do you have a young talent who is amazing in every way, except that he or she gets a red card every 4th match? Perfect! TG me.

Do you have a 39-year-old curmudgeonly player who has been told 42 times by his handlers to retire, but won't? Perfect! TG me.

Do you have a great player in his or her prime, but you are a very new nation with very little NS Sports clout? Perfect! TG me.

Literally anyone and everyone is welcome to approach me here. Unless I know you to be a problem individual within the NS Sports community, I probably won't turn you down. One thing though: if you would like to submit a player to me for the Ivesh Bulah, I will probably ask you a whole bunch of questions so that I can RP your character the best I can. Don't worry, though, they'll be fun questions.

As always, TG me, please. For the love of god, don't respond in this thread.

So, in the process of attempting to update my database last night for my latest season, I noticed that I don't actually have the latest version of the file -- it is currently on my out-of-commission laptop, whose hard drive I may or may not be able to salvage later this month. Bad news is that this means that I don't have up to date information on ... well... almost anyone who doesn't play for the national team. Good news is... well, I'll get to that.

See, realising that I'm only really losing two seasons of data (which I can RP away because of this crazy stasis plotline I've got going on), I decided I could just do a bit of jiggery-pokery and overhaul the system anyway. As a result, this post gives IC reasoning for the large amount of players I will soon be making available (hopefully tonight) while I generate replacements and scorinate season four of my domestic league.

Why am I posting here? Because, well... as I mentioned in the above-linked post, foreign players will almost all be released (basically, the ones I can't guarantee I have correct information for). So, if you have any players in my nation who don't play for Shanak FC or Hastmead Diamante, those players are being returned to you. I don't have a full list of names at the moment, so I'm counting on you guys having a record of where you sent your own players. Hopefully I'll be able to produce at least a partial list later on, but no guarantees. There could be a large number of names missing (both Osarian and foreign) because the old version of the database that I have access to appears to be from around the time of WC63/OLAF season 2.

I'll be raiding you guys' transfer lists for season five probably though. So it's not like we're going all "foreigners gtfo forevaaaa".

K I'm done. Laters.

Arka Snezhnaya a quickly rising side within Mytannion are looking for a truly world-class central midfielder to join their squad. They finished 2nd in the last Mytanar Top League season and will play Champions' Cup football for this cycle and are trying to assemble a young, vibrant squad that matches their sustainable ethos. They believe in never spending more than you can afford and nurturing young talent, but for next season - where they will try and mount a slightly less surprising title challenge - they are prepared to spend a little more than usual in order to procure the talent needed.

So, if you have a national team midfielder who would be interesting in competing in one of the top leagues in the world and a quickly improving squad with a bright future, shoot me a TG with the candidate player.

Tiiaupila, Nrubari Look for International Transfers

Vilita National Team players Jawz Tiiaupila and Cristoh Nrubari are looking to make an international domestic transfer after opting not to renew their contracts in the Vilitan League.

28 year old Goalkeeper Jawz Tiiaupila made his first appearance for the Vilitan National Team in a shock defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifications. The 1-3 defeat was pointed at by many critics as the sole reason the Jungle Cats were unable to make a return to the World Cup Finals, dropping a full three points against the groups bottom side and inevitably finishing just one point out of the playoff zone. Tiiaupila moved from Inland Rovers on a loan to newly promoted Hojosan in The Yorozura after WC57 quals as part of an investment deal with the clubs kit sponsors, VIlitan based Vilaye energy drink. When the Yorozura league collapsed, Tiiaupila returned to the Inland joining Inland Peaks FC where he would spend a season before joining Mliona-Lpaka Turori after their promotion to the Stellar Division. Tiiaupila became a solid performer at Mliona-Lpaka as their only recognized international player during a Season 33 campaign that saw them rise to 4th in the V-League table, earning a place in the UICA Champions League for the first time in club history, a trend that continued throught Tiiaupula's tenure at Mliona-Lpaka.
Cristoh Nrubari was a prospect out of the Kiiara Academy who signed his first professional contract with Mliona-Lpaka in Turori. Nrubari was instrumental in Mliona-Lpaka's return to the Stellar Division before moving on to other opportunities. Nrubari got the chance to play in the UICA Champions League, joining Makosile United after their breakthrough Season 31 Stellar Division title. Nrubari would remain at Makosile playing a low-praise but high impact role in their seasonal success. The midfielder, now aged 30, has been capped over 10 times for the Vilitan National Team.

Any team interested in signing either Tiiaupilaor Nrubarifor the upcoming UICA and domestic campaign should contact Vilita via TG with a proposal and any pertinent background information.

Vilitan Club's Open Doors for New Foreign Transfers

No fewer than four Vilitan clubs have announced their intentions to consider adding new foreign players to their roster ahead of the 39th Vilitan League Season.

3-Time Champions the Turoki Tide posted an 8th place finish in the Stellar Division during Season 38, the clubs worst placement in the modern era. The Tide have turned to Ematora Pikiaka to lead the team for Season 39 and the new manager has stated that he would be open to bringing at least one foreign player, not currently in the Vilitan League, into the squad for the new campaign.

Elsewhere in the Stellar Division, Kristin Duodu makes no such limitations on the amount of foreign players that might be joining Kiiara-Torra for the upcoming UICA and V-League campaigns. Kiiara-Torra just narrowly missed out on Champions Cup competition after being promoted as Declasse champions just one season ago. Now, Duodu is looking to add international talent to the roster in order to compete for a position in the top 5 - a realistic possibility with the experience of Vilitan Goalkeeper Nycflala Kater anchoring the roster.

Newly promoted Declasse side Mavaloiao have a history of looking internationally for its stars. Formerly the home of Jamie Long of Homelands our and, perhaps more famously, being the team that brought Saugeais forward Kuzman Ruslan to the Vilitan League, the Bears are back in the League and looking for players wherever they can get them. Rumors have been floating about that Mavaloiao are looking to woo Ruslan back to the club in a Player/Manager role, but regardless of who is at the helm, Mavaloiao are looking to buy.

Elsewhere in the Declasse division, Marine Coast United, 3-time Stellar Division Champions, may also be considering an international transfer.

Any player interested in joining the Vilitan League should contact Vilita via TG with a proposal and any pertinent background information supporting the move.

Regarding the restructuring of UICA tournaments, perhaps it's time to introduce puppet limits (say a maximum of two teams per puppet per UICA competition)? Or perhaps qualifying groups, rather than a knockout qualifying system? Or even introducing a CC-style restriction on number of teams nations can enter to the Globe Cup?

Maybe cut the numbers of places per competition, and have maybe 2 entrants per nation to the Globe Cup and 2 entrants per nation to the SBCC.

Or get rid of puppets? One nation per user in international domestic competitions? I'm just throwing out radical solutions here.

I don't think its necessary to have a puppet rule. I can't be the only person that would be upset by that.

If the problem it the size of the CC and the GC (the post seemed to indicate that the SBCC isn't so much of an issue?) then perhaps a 'BoF' style tournament where people entering for the first time go into? Then, if they stick around, they get to join the main tournaments.

Or, perhaps a sliding scale of GC entries allowed for new nations? (First season, one entry. Second season, two entries. Third season and onwards, three entries.) Might eliminate a lot of teams from nations who scorinate and sign-up once, then don't bother in future.

Not sure where the balance of the problem lies however, with new users or with a continued presence of older users (i.e. not as many losing interest as before). Perhaps CH could advise on that?

I like this idea

Also, is there a problem with puppets? I guess I was always under the impression that there was already some kind of restriction, is there not? If so, what problems are there currently?
