Newly promoted Maharia United wish to place a bid for Alfwin Samppa, as they seek a goalscorer to help them remain in the King's League. As they only have one senior striker at the moment, Samppa is practically guaranteed a starting place should he accept their offer.
Veteran Burningham City manager, Sir George Pennant, is keen to team Kegan Diniz with his compatriot Melvyn Shahar at the heart of perhaps the best defense in the country. Burningham City are known for being tough to break down, so it should be a good fit for him, and also beneficial for the national team, as they could form a good partnership to carry over to international level.
Callisto City, under the stewardship of Donovan MacLean, may be the ideal destination for Tomi Diya, especially as they seek a solid attacking full back to maintain their impressive progress. Last season, MacLean identified his team's lack of width as a major problem in breaking down certain teams, and a full back capable of supporting attacks is top of his wishlist.
Paper Tree Town have had to loan 'keepers and rely on youth team players for the past three seasons, so Gustaw Daderio may be the solution they need. Providing he can handle the high altitude in Papyrum, he could find himself in a secure position as first choice goalkeeper, behind a reasonable defence - which is even better when playing at home.

Story #1. Star forward Rainu Irin’lur has been dealt by FK Kelsey to a Nethertopian club (OOC- oops. I deleted the tg by mistake and do not have the club name.) It is the hope of Vegans everywhere that the move will polish her rough ends and develop the as yet untouched talent.

Stonengarten UH, the Dwarven club who flat out refuses to sign any player of standard humanoid races other than Dwarves are rumored to be highly intrigued by the possibility of signing a an Ursine keeper. The larger keeper would be a great benefit for a side that struggles at the position and the bears are much more agreeable to the standoffish Stonengartners than flitty elves and wasteful humans. A small group of Dwarven scouts have been sent to Bears Armed (OOC- is that the national name you prefer) to see what talent can be found and work out a deal.

Very Good. However it is the Ursine players which have drawn interest from the Dwarven club. It seems they are intrigued by the idea of adding not only larger players but skilled larger players to boot. They have attempted on several occasions to train cave trolls to provide added size and reach, but that barely sentient race hasnt proved to be an acceptable solution. Stonengarten UH's play has been spectacular early in the new season as the prospect of Ursine players has generated quite a buzz in that city. The Dwarves here call themselves the Zadaor.

Bears Armed wrote:from the Bear-Belles' latest roster, the possibilities are_
(#30) Karramarsar Darra _ Clan = Ostbora, home team = 'Warriagh Krasny', category & usual position = Goalkeeper, 19 years experience of Soccer; age = 32, right-pawed, fur = light brown, has good eyesight, very nimble; very good record in ''League' play. (She made her 'international' debut in Oxen Cup 12.)
(#51) Beorranna o OldWood_ Clan = Redwood; home team = Mighty Redwoods, category & usual position = Goalkeeper, experience = 5 years; age = 22, right -pawed, fur = medium-brown with a greyish tinge. (WWC12 was her ‘international’ debut.)
whilst from the 'NorthBears' there is _
(#27) Elga Thuleann _ Clan = Thuleann; home team = AmmFarhr Adventuresses, category & usual position = Goalkeeper, experience = 15 years; age = 27, left-pawed, fur = ‘white’ (as she’s from a ‘Polar’ stock, which also means that she’s rather large even by Ursine standards...).* * * * * * *
Or would you rather have a keeper who is in a 'League' team -- probably as their second-string goalie, rather than their usual starting one -- but who hasn't yet been selected to play at the 'national 'level? This would probably be slightly cheaper...

Foreign players playing in Eastfield Lodge will age at the same rate as everyone else in the Empire/Commonwealth, that is at 2 years per World Cup cycle, regardless of time in your own nation.
Seniors FC are looking for anybody fit enough to play football who is over the age of 70. As long as they're healthy (not deaf or seriously paralysed, minor paralysis and wheelchairs are allowed, but not preferred), and would like to play professional football, then they will be considered. Retired footballers will be preferred.
(OOC: I know, odd request).

Addition to the above, any native players playing in a foreign country will age at 2 years per WC cycle, regardless of the aging rate.

Andossa Se Mitrin Vega wrote:Hmm... the possibilities. All three keepers presented have their upside for aquisition. However I would like to express interst in a combination of both ideas if I may. Would it be possible to aquire Karramarsar Darra as well as a young and, as of yet untested, keeper to train behind her? Karramarsar's experience would be invaluable to the club in helping to stabilize and elevate the level of the entire squad while a young keeper would benefit from her tutilage and become a solid keeper in her own right. That way Stonengarten UH would get a solid, reliable keeper to begin with and yet allow Karramarsar to only spend the length of time she wanted away from home in a strange land. It is not our desire to keep a player longer than he/she wishes to stay and a younger player would be more adaptable to the differences in lifestyle than an older one.
(ooc- do the ursine players age at a rate close to human? Dwarves have a bit longer life and therefore a longer sporting career where as elves are nearly immortal by human standards. Just wondering)

Ursines have a slightly lower life-expectancy than humans, but they retain their full vigour for a greater proportion of their lives than humans do so that players (even strikers) in their later 30s or even their early 40s aren't uncommon and can be worth keeping as 'first team' players.
Are you running on 4 years per World Cup cycle (as Bears Armed does), 2 years, 1 year, or what?
