Carbonel Nuelma stays atop of the Primera Liga with 21 points, a point ahead of Olympique Leonde who is primed to qualify for a Globe Cup spot. Defending champions Deportivo Nespa is in third, 2 pomts behind Carbonel, while Wanko Nocoru is in fourth with seventeen points. Carrubonieta Il Gueti and Real Tiagosan lies a point behind Wanko on the outside looking in.

Aguas Rapidas Liga (LFS Primera Liga)
In the two months that ensued, Deportivo Nespa took the lead in the table, now nine points ahead of Olympique and eleven and twelve points ahead of CD Viocla and Real Tiagosan respectively, with the three sides occupying the Globe Cup spots. However, only four points separate third place CD Viocla and tenth place Carbonel.

At the other side of the table, Real Rosavilla joins the new boys Ryne, Girondins and Sangtiola who, week by week, are certain to go straight back to the Campeonato. They trail the trio of Radi, Jocolim and Vanie by three points.

Real Droniolo meanwhile has fallen ito the relegation zone, while Celta Vanie climb to 14th, still perilously above the drop zone.

The top three remained the same, except for the fact that CR Novasca had already opened up an eight point advantage over Atletico Droniolo and nine over CF Nuevavilla. Unido Tiagosan and Rosavilla Atletico are fourth and fifth place respectively.

The bottom places are occupied by the same teams in the bottom four from the last two months, with Lestialce now in bottom.

Locomotiva kept its nine point gap over third place, which was now occupied by Rambo. It looks like a two horse race for the Campeonato, but with places for the Series B Champions' Cup up for grabs, the top four cannot celebrate just yet. Only one point separates Rambo, Real Baoyam and Real Tadofal.

At the bottom, the composition remained the same, but Real Droniolo were tied with Nalvodo and El DOs Cantos at 30 points. Atletico Viocla, who led at the early stages, were slowly dragged into the relegation conversation. Only winning once did not help their case either. Real Balongaca looks doomed at the moment, with thirteen points adrift of safety, they could be relegated as early as Matchday 30.

At the bottom half, Garbalona got out of the relegation zone, but only in goal difference as Deportivo Tadofal managed only a draw in six matches to fall to the drop zone. Lestialce remained bottom, winning only once.

Update 3 (March to May 2015)

Week 28 - 1st week of March

The gap between the top two just got closer to nine points when Cintore defeated Racing Xinghua, while Nespa failed to beat Carrubonieta. Sangtiola defeated Jocolim while Girondins thrashed Savio which continued the latter's barren run. In the important race for UICA places, CD Viocla failed to win while Olympique and Tiagosan had contrasting results, with the former losing to Gaba and the latter defeating Carbonel, which almost certainly extinguishes Los Gatos Negros hopes of UICA action.

Nonasa defeated Respeto 3-1, while Locomotiva defeated Vascue. These results kept the gap intact between the two clubs. Meanwhile Los Rebeldes have opened a 4 point gap between them and Real Baoyam after their 4-2 win over Las Violetas, and the subsequent loss of Los Rojiblancos over the Los Olivos. The bottom four stayed the same as last week as Balangay was the only side getting points after their win over Atleti.

Week 29 - 2nd week of March

In the midweek match, Atletico Viocla lost their home match against Atleti. Real Balongaca inches closer to relegation as they lose against Vascue. Balangay inches closer to the edge of safety with a win over Gustina. At the top though, one point was deducted from the gap at the top as Real Baoyam defeated top of the table Nonasa, while Locomotiva drew wirh Dos Cantos. Respeto defeated Rambo that turns back the gap between them and Los Rojiblancos to a solitary point.

Atleti Gueti 1–2 Real Rosavilla

Primera sides Atletico Radi, Deportivo Nespa and Real Rosavilla have reached the Estadio Ferdinand Marcos for the semifinal, while the sole Campeonsto club, Atletico Viocla, despite their struggle for survival in the second tier.

After the weekend, Deportivo Nespa remained top with 4 points in the week: a draw with Sangtiola followed by a narrow win over Atletico Radi. Real Cintore though broke the duck of the El Clasico de Respaña Viejo, they recorded their first win in countless visits to the Estadio Cesar Virata. It looks like that the four sides will be relegated if they will not win. FC Jocolim and Ryne Savio lost both matches, while Sangtiola and Girondins drew one and lost one.

Nonasa has secured promotion to the Primera Liga, while Locomotiva secured their qualification to the Series B Champions' Cup, with Nonasa also qualifying for the competition. Real Balongaca confirmed its relegation after losing to Dos Cantos.

Week 31 - 4th week of March

At the end of the month, Deportivo Nespa has a 10 point lead over Real Tiagosan, who are now tied with Real Cintore in third. Olympique occupies the final Globe Cup spot. CD Violcla and Racing Xinghua are six and seven points behind Olympique, respectively.

The bottom four are Jocolim, Sangtiola, Girondins and Ryne, with Ryne eighteen points adrift of safety.

Baseball Unified League of Sangti and Alitaba
Inagural Season

With funds of the Sangtian Baseball Federation diminishing before WBC27, many teams were forced to disband. With 12 teams to participate in the Beisbol Sangti, the season was almost put in vain. However, the Pamunuan ng Beysbol ng Alitaba would extend its help by putting six expansion Alitaba franchises to participate in the inagural BULSA.

Regarding BCCC places, the four Sangti teams who made the playoffs will automatically qualify for the BCCC, while the top two Alitaba teams in the Division Alitaba would qualify for the competition. If either the third place or the fourth place wins the BULSA World Series, then it will replace the second place team.

4th Season (technically)

SEASON REVIEW
It was a thrilling final day of games in the newly-renamed BRUL. The top four already booked their spots in Seasogs four matchdays prior and only four points separate Nidadtri from Warriors, Carrubonieta and Ryne. Nidadtri simply needed to beat fifth placed Jocolim to secure their second title, while Carrubonieta faced Dozamen in their quest to reclaim the title. Ryne and Warriors face each other that may have big implications in the order of finish.

Nonetheless, the first match that the result was known was in Gueti, when Carrubonieta defeated Dozamen RFC, 26-12. The match at Isla Nespa was tight, with Zalesgon leading 7-3. Meanwhile three minutes into added time, Nidadtri is still tied with Jocolim, with any slip up allowing the former champions to take the title.

But in the dying minutes of the match, Zalesgon lost at Ryne, 10-3 after allowing a late try and conversion from Ryne that the fans enjoyed. But the biggest scoring action was when Nidadtri finally put away Jocolim with a try. They failed to nail in the conversion, but that try ensured that the Blues retain the title and enter the Seasogs as the champions of the Royal Barangay.

EC: And we see some former NT coaches managing clubs, Abundo, Dumale, and Faltado. Also we see the "Sangtian Club of the Century" Real Nonasa finally getting to the top flight.
RB: That was just because of the poor performance of the top division sides, and Cintore's emergence to the Group Stage the Globe Cup was beyond the 50th edition of the UICA festivities.
EC: At least the banner "Club of the Century" was taken advantage to sign some players, and that I think will do wonders for Nonasa's survival. Meanwhile, opposite them, Locomotiva hardly made moves in the summer, and is a clear favorite to a straight return to the second division...
RB: ...especially when there are 4 spots for relegation. I think for me, these clubs will be in trouble: Locomotiva, who will prop up the table come October, Saint-Etudes, who lost their star players, Rosavilla, same as Saint-Etudes, and Atletico Radi, with Abundo managing them.
EC: Eh, why pick on Abundo? We knew his horrible stint at the Agilang Dilaw, but still...
RB: I would rather have Faltado, Dumale or Bulayugan to take that manager spot, but they chose Abundo. Sickening.
EC: It's better than a club overhaul that mixes up team chemistry. Nonasa could, no, will be in trouble. Along them to go down would be Saint-Etudes, Rosavilla and Locomotiva.
RB: How about betting? If Radi goes down, then you would go to a date with DANAE. Otherwise if Nonasa is relegated.
EC: No. Why did we made predictions again? That's because we will use it in a points system.
RB: How will it work?
EC: By correctly predicting the position of the club, a pundit gets one point.
RB: That's easy. I'm gonna beat you to a pulp...

5. Real Nonasa board risks chemistry; Signs many players
What Roman thinks: This is good for the club. With Barangayan free agents knowing that they are the Club of the Century, they immediately jumped into bandwagon mode, and signed for the club. I think they will spring up the table in the coming seasons.
What Edric thinks: This is a blasphemy. Disrupting team chemistry is the worst thing a top division club can do in their maiden season. Yes, you could sign two or three players to strengthen your squad, but the entire starting 11? That's deadly.

4. Carbonel loses its players to foreign teams... and stands pat in the summer
What Roman thinks: This is a bad move for The Gatos Negros. I liked this team the last season, as they had marquee players such as Alwin Villejo, Luke Docdoc and Roman Ang. Losing them for virtually nothing is a mortal sin for this club, and I cannot see a reason why this club could compete for the championship come October.
What Edric thinks: Same as Roman's, in addition, the money that was collected should be used next season to nab a marquee player. I believe that the fraction of the money already went to the development of their new stadium.

3. The manager merry-go-round; Former NT staff manages three clubs
What Roman thinks: The only bad decision for me is Abundo's appointment as the manager of Los Caballos. His poor record for the National Team could reflect his performance here, and I think that would mean disaster for them. For Gabelona and Real Nonasa, congratulations, you are well into title contention in the future. As for Stewart Kutch, I think he will suffer his second relegation in a row. I just think.
What Edric thinks: Appointing Jaime Faltado as Real Nonasa manager is damaging for the reputation of the former TRB manager. If chemistry issues plague the club, that could surely be the time Nonasa struggles to relegation. For Dumale meanwhile, he could well lift Gabelona into a mid table obscurity. Not the prettiest of all results, but given their willingness to splash cash, they are well on their way to upending the top sides in this league

2. The foreign invasion; landmark players for the league
What Roman thinks: This is good for Barangayan football. The KPMB set a limit for foreign players to six - three Fipino player limit and three Non-Fipino player limit. There are currently three foreign signings in the league: Merhuein Monguelle from NSI for Real Nonasa, Jared Anderson from The Licentian Isles for Real Cintore and Goal Blossom, the first female player and the first non-human to play in the Barangayan league, playing for Deportivo Nespa.
What Edric thinks: Speaking of Goal Blossom, I think it is a very risky signing. With Julius Chaves knowing that falling out of the UICA places could signal the departure of the former Equestrian States international, he hopes he could install her in his system that worked wonders for his old team Nonasa. Another factor? *looks up in the skies* The weather. With the league now starting in January, and with Nespa located in southeast TRB, expect some missed matches for Goal Blossom from June to August.

1. Nespa's continued disappointments at the international stage; Cintore's continued emergence; Baoyam and Carrubonieta's lavish spending
What Roman thinks: The similarities for all these four clubs? They all splashed cash during the summer, and the latter's moves made them somewhat of a contender for UICA spots. What could be difficult for them is that there are still two clubs that could upend the spenders out of UICA contention: CD Viocla and Real Tiagosan. Especially with the latter, when they did not lose Marty Balido and Mari Arceo, that could be the chance Las Aguilas needed to finally step into the title picture.
What Edric thinks: The top two clubs were looking brand new coming into this season. With two high-caliber former internationals leading their sides at the Supercopa del Barangay next week, the Nespa-Cintore rivalry goes up a notch and we could see a different champion come October.

Lower Leagues, Part 1

Conferencia Regional
This season, the KPMB split the old Conferencia with the Conferencia del Norte and the Conferencia del Sur. The need to split the division arose when the relegation of four clubs from the Liga Dos increased the clubs to 24. As a result, the clubs were grouped geographically and clustered into Northern and Southern group, with the top team from each group gaining promotion.

Conferencia del Norte
The Conferencia del Norte was formed with twelve teams from Respana Nuevo, Cantones, Region Capital and Nomadia regions, with the exception of CF Pezlo, which is a Respana Viejo club. WIth only Decardio Lomalos the club relegated from the old Liga Dos to be assigned in the league, they were perceived as immediate title contenders, as Ramo Central, Real Bradoi and new club Sporting Cencioino were expected to give them a run for their money.

Over the midseason, Central and Decardio were tied for the top of the table with 43 points and a +17 goal difference to their names. Central being only above by goals for. CF Dradean was one point behind the two going into Matchday 23.

The balance of power changed drastically at the top of CoN, when Decardio beat Central at their top of the table clash at Lomalos, while Dradean beat Napica, with the same scoreline at 3-0. This caused Central to drop down to third position, moving Decardio and Dradean up.

Dradean seized control of top spot after Decardio lost to Juventud, 1-0, while Central kept pace of the leaders with a 2-1 win over Nganpo. Dradean earlier beat Pezlo 1-0.

It was now time for Dradean to suffer a loss, when they visited Estadio Lomalos, with Decardio beating them 1-0, propelling the hosts to the top of the table. Central kept pace again with a goalfest win over Bradoi. By virtue of goal difference (due to that Matchday 23 massacre), Central failed to reclaim top spot from Decardio.

Come Matchday 33, Decardio held a two point lead over Central, in which Dradean was eight points behind Decardio at 59 points. This was looking to be a two horse race for promotion with Central keeping the pressure on the favorites. The next matchday however...

The next matchday, a half-capacity crowd at Palavedra saw Central go on top again when they managed to beat Decardio, 1-0. Dradean then beat Napica to inch closer to the top 2.

Decardio took the lead again after Central lost to Nganpo 1-0. A Dradean loss meant that they were trailing again by eight points. The positions remained the same, until Dradean dropped out of the title race on Matchday 41, where Decardio still led Central by a mere two points. The biggest margin Decardio had over Central was four points on Matchday 38, six weeks before the end of the season.

Matchday 42 came and Central finally leveled Decardio at the top of the table, after Decardio was held to a draw in Cencioino, while Central defeated Racing Gadodel away from Palavedra. With two matchdays to go, the title seemed to go until the final matchday, but the two sides won't face each other again.

In their second consecutive away game, Decardio failed to find the net as they were held anew to a 0-0 draw against Nganpo. There was jubilation at Palavedra when they heard the news, as Central were cruising to a 2-0 win against second bottom Napica. Decardio host Bradoi while Central make the trip west to face Pezlo.

In Lomalos, Decardio conceded an early goal to Bradoi in their quest to win the Conferencia del Norte, and while Decardio looked for an equalizer, there were bad news at Pezlo, as a goal put Central into the lead. They were relieved when the update just before halftime show a scoreline of 2-1 in Pezlo. Decardio needed to win whatever happens at Pezlo to have a shot at the title. Central also needs to win to secure promotion.

A further goal in Lomalos put the nail in the coffin for Decardio, in the 75th minute. Now they needed three goals to win the title, with news that the scoreline in Pezlo now stands at 4-2. However, those three goals never came for Decardio, and they let Central win the title by a mere two points.

Conferencia del Sur
Over to the southern part of the Royal Barangay, there were three clubs relegated from Liga Dos that were placed in this group. These clubs were also deemed contenders for the title: CF Radi, Sosyo Model and Sangtial Vascue. CF Radi is the favorites to gain promotion to the new Conferencia Nacional.

At the beginning of the season, Radi top the table along with Piritues, Sangtial and Lonsayba completing the top four, and five points between them. Come midseason, Radi had a five point advantage from its nearest rivals, Sangtial and Piritues. Lonsayba and Sosyo were at the bottom of the top 5.

From matchday 26 onwards, the Power 3 were at the top 3 positions, validating pundit predictions in the process, with Radi winning the title with five matches to spare and end the other two's hopes for promotion.

Sosyo could have extended the wait for Radi fans by one matchday; they were hopeful that they can upend Radi at the final day of the season. Unfortunately for them, they were blanked by Sangtial 3-0, that clinched the title for CF Radi, after their 1-0 win over Trocas. Their trophy was presented to them at Estadio Municipal de Radi, home stadium of local rivals Atletico Radi, after a 7-1 mauling of CF Tebo.

Sosyo would eventually finish in second after holding off Sangtial in the final day of the season, with the latter losing at Lonsayba. Meanwhile at the bottom, it was CF Tistabau who goes into 2018 with the worst record in Barangayan football, and thus may qualify for the Kylx Kup.

Lower Leagues, Part 2

Liga Maharlika Cuarto

Ah, the old Liga Dos. The KPMB has decided to trim down the number of Leagues under the joint supervision of the KPMB and Liga Sangtiana Holdings to just three, making this the only season of the Liga Maharlika Cuarto. After this season, any club not promoted or relegated will qualify for the Conferencia Nacional. The bottom four of the new Liga Maharlika Tercera and the top teams of the Conferencia del Norte and Sur will qualify accordingly to the new league. The top two will be promoted to the Liga Maharlika Tercera for next season, while the bottom six will be relegated to the Conferencia Regional, pending assignment to either one of the geographical clusters. Both the Nesley clubs (Garbalona and Real) were poised for promotion, while Pesgem Cuatro, Deportivo Tadofal and Unido Girabel were chasers to the two Nesley clubs. On the other side of the table, Nicojardi Club and CF Lafoxpa are the bookies' favorites to go down, with a flurry of other clubs such as Recreativo Nonasa, Chateroux Mosra Real Gabel and Fuerza Catobon are likely to join them.

Matchday 1-9

Through the first four matchdays, Chateroux jumpstart their season with ten points in the bag, surprising everyone with wins over Dinamo Lomalos, Recreativo and Lafoxpa. At the end of matchday 9 however, Garbalona and Lestialce hold the two promotion spots. Deportivo Tadofal, Chateroux and Atletique were closely following them, as are Real Nesley. On the other side of the table, Nicojardi is close to the other clubs, but are the cellar-dwellers going into matchday 10.

Matchday 10-17

At the midseason however, a three-way tie at the top saw Atletique, Unido Girabel and Deportivo Tadofal all tied at 31 points, with only goal difference separating the three sides. Lestialce are in fourth with 29 points and Cuatro in fifth with 28, along with Real Nesley. It seems to be an open race at the top.

Meanwhile, at the bottom half of the table, Chateroux only scored seven points in eight games, causing them to drop like a stone into the perils of relegation. They are five points ahead of Dinamo Lomalos, who occupies the last relegation spot in 13th. Then four points behind are bottom of the table Nicojardi, with 13 points. Ritmo, Gabel, Lafoxpa, and Recreativo sandwich the two clubs in the relegation zone.

At the end of matchday 25, Unido Girabel is now atop of the table, with 48 points and a perilous +12 goal difference. Atletique remain behind them, four points off the top. The two Nesley clubs occupy the next two places in the top. Meanwhile, Forza is now in the relegation zone, with Ritmo and Chateroux climbing above them.

With five matches remaining in the season, Nicojardi's five straight losses puts them straight back into the fifth tier after they lost a 7 goal thriller to Lestialce, 4-3. As for the top, Atletique and Nesley are occupying the promotion spots, with Unido Girabel waiting for someone to drop their form and strike. Lestialce and Garbalona complete the top 5. Ritmo meanwhile slide back into the drop zone after Matchday 26, and has been there since then up to now. As the matchdays go on and on, teams at the bottom could go down in a matter of matchdays.

Unido snatched the lead again from Atletique with a narrow win at Panaoma. Atletique lost in Lafoxpa, 3-1, which may help the capital club's chances of survival in the league. Unfortunately, Ritmo beat Nesley 2-1, which also hampered the latter's title bid. Chateroux and Forza played to a 10-goal draw, enabling Ritmo to creep closer to the two clubs in a quest for survival.

Alas, another change at the top of the table. It is now Garbalona who top the table after their decisive derby win over Real. Unido lost 3-1 to Dinamo Lomalos, while Atletique did not know what hit them, as they succumbed to a 5-1 loss to Lestialce. Lafoxpa will be relegated next matchday if they fail to score points in their next matchup, after they were thrashed away at Panaoma. Forza inched closer to safety when they defeated Ritmo in a relegation six pointer. Luckily for Ritmo, Chateroux failed to win against Nalvodo, who put 4 goals at the back of their net.

The results had a large impact at the top, as the top six clubs are within six points of each other, with three games to play. Including Cuatro who is in seventh, this is the tightest title race we have ever seen in Barangayan fourth tier history.

Chateroux finally slipped into the relegation spots when they lost to Fuerza, while Ritmo also lost to Nalvodo. Lafoxpa's draw with Lestialce meant that they go straight back to the fifth tier as well. Dinamo Lomalos climbed out of the drop zone when they defeated Dinamo Panaoma 3-1.

At the top now is Atletique, after their 1-0 win over Deportivo Tadofal. Cuatro kept their title bid alive when they defeated Gabel, 2-1. This was after Forza managed somehow to eke a 4-3 win over Garbalona, falling the latter to third behind Atletique and Real Nesley, who beat hapless Nicojardi 3-2.

At the bottom, Ritmo, Recreativo and Gabel go down after losing their assignments, and Dinamo Lomalos beat Lafoxpa. Chateroux gave themselves a chance after ending Unido's title hopes with a 1-0 win. Deportivo Tadofal ended any hope for a Lestialce promotion as they gave them a 4-2 beating.

The aforementioned loss of Gabel propel Real Nesley into top spot for the first time this season. They took advantage of Atletique drawing Cuatro, that ended the latter's hope for promotion.

Now only three clubs are in contention to win the title: Real Nesley, Yesre Atletique, and Deportivo Nalvodo.

For Nesley to win the title, a draw will suffice, if Nalvodo fail to win by at least five goals. Knowing that their opponents are already relegated, this is possible. Nalvodo cannot hope for an Atletique win for the title, but winning will suffice Nalvodo for promotion. A draw would also be possible, provided that Atletique lose by at least two goals.

Garbalona faces Fuerza, while Unido faces already relegated Ritmo, where a win and both Atletique and Nalvodo loss would see them into the promotion spot. However, this task seems to be impossible for Unido, who has a lot of work to do to overturn that advantage in goal difference.

At the other side of the table, Dinamo Lomalos faces relegated Recreativo, while Chateroux faces Panaoma. Chateroux badly needs to win and hope that Lomalos fail to do so to climb out of relegaiton. A draw and a five goal loss at the least for Lomalos will also do that.

The last day of the season brought more drama for the three sides chasing for the title. In the closing minutes of the Yesre-Nesley match, a massive brawl in the stands suspended the game for at least thirty minutes, while the Nicojardi-Nalvodo game was still going. That match ended 2-2, ending any hope for Nalvodo to win the title, or even promotion.

At the other end of the table, no goals were scored in either games involving sides vying for survival, causing Chateroux to be relegated to the fifth tier, and assures safety for Dinamo, whose fans spat at their fierce rivals Decardio for failing to be promoted.

When the fiasco at Yesre controlled, the match resumed at the 87th minute, with Yesre leading 2-1. However, a goal from Niel Deonaldo at the dying moments of the match secured the title for Nesley, thus earning both sides promotion to the LM Tercera.
