Yup, this is mine.
This nation has now been reformed as the Licentian Isles. Please direct anything intended for me to that nation.

If Joshulia can still enter, we would like to play our team, the Knights, in both the World Cup and The Baptism by Fire.

Baptism of Fire Host Announcement:

As of the recent count, there are 57 nations currently signed up for entry into the upcoming Baptism of Fire, including Joshulia. At this time, all nations currently entered are guaranteed entry, with the exception of Tirdarsaor, who is the most-recent puppet (in terms of entry order) to join the field. Tirdarsaor will be admitted as soon as either one additional nation enters, and/or a nation withdraws or CTEs before the draw is held.

Upon the entry of one more team, the field will be soft-locked at 58 teams. Further entries will be accepted should a pair of teams enter, and will follow in order on the waiting list until accepted. All nations are reminded that the usual rules (no more than two nations per user, and only one entry permitted for users who are new - i.e., only one first-time nation per cycle per user) still apply.

Additionally, the entry of Colland, while currently accepted as per the interpretation of the WCC President, is undergoing host review. I ask that Colland TG me at this user name to clarify if his/her post was, in fact, intended to be a BoF entry.

World Cup host announcement:

With the inclusion of Joshulia, we have reached 200 nations entered. Pasarga and I wish to institute a soft cap ourselves, as the presumed number of nations entered equals a nice, even teams to groups ratio. As we go through and figure out the true final number (and see if anyone CTEs in this time), all signups after this will be considered provisional and may not be included in the final World Cup grouping.

Thank you.

Volunteering Aels to be first-choice withdrawal from both competitions if needed, ahead of Tirdarsor. (If the eventual numbers mean Aels does not need to be withdrawn then this post is moot.)

And I think that now is the best time to remind the hosts that my puppet, Rikatan, withdraws from the World Cup. (Hasn't been erased from the puppet list.)

World Cup announcement:

With the recent additions and subtractions to the final list, both Pasarga and I have determined that the current number of 202 (which is everyone up to Luzvimindia) is guaranteed to be in the World Cup qualifying. Nations can still sign up past this post, as some nations that have previously signed up may Ccease to exist (CTE) in the coming days. Those that do will be considered provisional, and will only be added to the final list if a previous nation CTEs, in order of when they signed up first.

Thank you.

Baptism of Fire announcement:

With the field for the World Cup provisionally set as per above, there are 58 entries for the Baptism of Fire. Thus, all teams who have submitted entries and not withdrawn to this point are in (including Aels). Any entries between now and the draw (to be held in roughly 24 hours or so, pending other actions) will be pending the CTE of any team not yet entered.

For information purposes, I am cross-posting this between here and the World Cup Discussion Thread, however all questions and comments should go either to me by TG, or in that thread.

An Updated Baptism of Fire Host Announcement:

The draw for the First Matchday Fixtures of the Baptism of Fire will occur this afternoon, at roughly 9:00 PM British Summer Time/4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (U.S.), or a little under 5.5 hours from the time of this post. The draw will be semi-IC/OOC, and will be initially revealed in #nssport, accessible on IRC via esper.net. As is standard for a Casaran-system tournament, this draw will determine only the first-day fixtures, with the remainder determined daily based on the current standings.

Additionally, the official BoF 52 Everything Thread will open shortly before the draw, with links to be posted on #nssport and in this thread as soon as that has been done. The full team list will be posted in there, but will contain everyone who, prior to my previous post, had entered and not withdrawn.
