As some people might have noticed, with NSWiki's broken login system making it impossible to update, I've been working on moving articles to IIwiki. There is a full article on the
last World Cup, and some on the current one, I've transferred over most
club logos that are on NSWiki, and there are now pretty nice summaries of some of the
club tournaments, UICA and
IFCF, and the
Olympics as well.
I'm now working on Jolt-era Cup of Harmony stuff and realizing it was such a bad idea to think scores should be telegrammed privately. But especially if you have graphics and material of major ex-nations, it would be helpful if you can pitch in. There is certainly interesting stuff to unearth in the old Champions League/NSFA Cup that pre-existed UICA.
Look at this freaking thing! Your clubs' coefficients track your KPB rank?! What a concept.
A couple things in the editing effort I'd like to encourage:
1) Please don't rush to update articles every matchday, there's no need for that, and if it annoys Wikipedia when people update Sidney Crosby's stats every game he plays, I bet an even less-resourced volunteer efforts wants that either.
2) Just like with writing RPs, it's safest and easiest to write a chunk in a word processor or Google docs that auto-saves your work - something like notepad ++ is great too, although the nice thing about IIwiki is that its editing thing makes the code all pretty while you write it.
3) Try not to break the fourth wall - this is a formal rule on IIwiki that all content must be "in-universe". I haven't noticed this being policed, though - there are a bunch of OOC references littering the transferred Olympic Games article, for instance, but I'm sure they won't mind if it's not too blatant.
