Vauchecourt - October 2012

As football becomes more popular all over the world, Vauchecourt is looking to host the CSAF Schleswigstein cup. By hosting the Schleswigstein cup it will be able to boost the economy and make it more accessible for football fans to be able to see more games. Vauchecourt is looking forward to bringing more fans to its country and show the world just how well they will be able to host a CSAF football event.

Vauchecourt has as many as 15 world class stadiums in 13 different cities. If the Schleswigstein is to come to Vauchecourt, two cities are willing to host, which are, the capital Neuville-sur-Bouillet, and Richelieu. This will be able to bring more jobs to these cities and the stadiums will be able to hold over 69,000 fans. With this many spectators it will make the economy in each of these cities better and stronger. Hosting this cup is something that Vauchecourt has been reaching for and by building more football stadiums it will allow our dreams of hosting it to come through.

Hakkland to face Vauchecourt in the Schleswigstein Cup opener.
Temperatures may be sky-high and the team very determined, but Hakkland's coach Karl Jakobssen is still worried.

Following Hakkland captain Kristian Windberg insistence that working "collectively" is the key to victory, The journalist Paul Lindberg finds hope in last season's results. "Heart, spirit, defiance are all in vogue," he writes. "Superior artistry has failed in big games this year for many teams - and Hakkland need it to bounce off a wall again in the heat of Vauchecourt."

According to reports, Karl Jakobssen has focused on doing just that in training, drilling Windberg and his central midfield partner Henningsen to provide cover for the defensive pairing of Stenberg and Steenhoek. Other likely starters for today's match include Hanssen and Kristiansen on the wings, with Martensen dropping behind Knudsvig up front.

One of the issues for this match is the heat - the temperature in Vauchecourt could still be over 30 degrees at kick off. "In the list of excuses for competition failure, a lovely warm day ranks pretty high," writes Martin Schmelzer in the Sportbladet. "Hakkland's footballers are like Goldilocks. This one's too hot, that one's too cold; they never get a tournament that is just right."
Even with the heat, Hakkland have got the endorsement of one renowned manager : Holger Berndssen. "Everybody is talking, saying Hakkland are not good enough," he writes in the same newspaper . "But I don't understand this.
"I think this game against Vauchecourt in Neuville-sur-Bouillet is one that both teams can win," he continues, before adding: "Hakkland seem to need confidence and if they do beat Vauchecourt it could be that they do not look back."
