Season 12
Preview And so another season of Farf football arrives, and all Farves get ready to get their tickets and go see their teams, and it really looks like a promising season. The league is still rising and rising, and it doesn't look like its progress is gonna stop soon. The league is getting more and more competitive, and so only the fittest of teams survive. Last time around, we saw Mâ Âlâmëómë lose the championship to La Nueva Avenida by losing a few games in a streak, including the final. Trying to leave that behind, they'll be looking to win their third title now. La Nueva Avenida is coming as incumbent champions, and they obviously want more. Maybe this will be Avenida Victoria's year for the first time in quite a few seasons? Maybe this will be Avenida Principal's year? Maybe Ferdullaele will reming everyone of their former glory by winning? Maybe Flying Jellyfish will finally do something respectable in the league and win the title? The teams have all to play for, and we're bringing you an in-depth analysis of all of them. So, without further ado, here are the teams:
La Nueva Avenida
Manager: Thom Hoy
Assistant: Grant Pickton
Titles: FFL (5, 8, 10 and 11)
AOCL (11)
Season 11: Champions
GK: Sebastián Ruiseñor
LB: Jaime Ramos
CB: Espiridión Amarilla
RB: Fernando Montes
LM: Zonestraal Jansen (C)---
CM: Tor Hedegaard
CM: Café
RM: Manestraal Jansen
OM: Ibon Galdo
ST: Bayarte Pagagartundua
ST: Luciano Taggliafico
Prediction: Runners-up
To Watch: Tor Hedegaard
La Nueva Avenida is currently looking incredibly strong. After recently having (rather miraculously) won the FFL for the fourth time in history, their squad has stayed relatively still. The goalkeeper is still Ruiseñor. He's one of the best goalkeepers of the league and, though he's not some world class talent, he's likely to have a pretty good season under the Novan goal. The back three is probably the team's weakest spot. The three players are the Farolerans Ramos, Amarilla and Montes. None of them is anything out of the ordinary, but having a bad defense is no curse to La Nueva Avenida thanks to their midfield and attack. The midfield itself sends shivers down anyone's spine. The two centre midfielders are Café, who has been showing his potential as of late, thanks to a tremendous season, and Tor Hedegaard, a young Polarian who might be the midfield's weak spot. On the side, the Jansen twins, who need no introduction. Manestraal is kind of like Zonestraal's shadow, but he's good nonetheless. Zonestraal himself might be the most influential player in the history of the FFL. He got the best player award last season, so he's naturally expected to excel. He's also the captain and key player. It was pretty predictable, despite his age (35 years old). La Nueva Avenida will need to start worrying about that soon. As an offensive midfielder, Ibon Galdo has proved to be a worthy replacement of Alex Terán, even if the Novans do miss the cheeky midfielder. The Iturributan is still very young, and might as well bloom soon. Up front, tried-and-tested Bayarte Pagagartundua will be a nightmare to any defense. His partner in crime will be a Astograthian this time. On loan comes Luciano Taggliafico from Urbizania Wanderers. His father was a talented player from Seleucius. He can't speak a word of Spanish though. This should change by the end of the season. Tor Hedegaard will be the one to watch, as he might show exactly why he's one of the most hyped young players in Farfadillis. Starting for the Novans is no easy task at his age - though some player have achieved that - and getting to the Polarian Di Bradini squad is no easy task either. He'd probably have some place in a national team of the 50s in the KPB rankings but, well, you know, the Polar Islandstates' national team is a good one (and now comes with 33% less percentage of final losses!). Overall, La Nueva Avenida's attack might be the scariest around, and they've certainly got the potential to win their fifth title and get a three-title difference from everyone else. Mâ Âlâmëómë are their biggest worry, as it's the only team that can say they're good to be challenging them without surprising anyone. The defense may need some tweaking, but with such a powerful midfield and such a powerful attack, it's hardly a priority. Youngster Matías Delafuente has been sold to Viztourzys Kolektyvinis of Buyan. Many believe it's a disappointment that such a talent should go to waste to a league that is certainly not going to achieve anything anytime soon. As for my prediction, I just don't see them getting a third title in a row, no team has ever achieved that for a reason. They're still going to join the title race, though, so I predict they'll be
Runners-up.
Mâ Âlâmëómë
Manager: Tíbürçíö Çótâvié
Assistant: Fjóla Agger
Titles: FFL (7 and 9)
Season 11: Runners-up
GK: Rôhj Tzâín
LB: Timmson Leabiura
CB: Climo Coss
RB: Anna Shrike
CM: Svenbjorn Einarsson (C)-
CM: Txai Zubiri
AL: Kaj Aurora
OM: Demetrio Alessandri
AR: Kühâx
ST: Kris Campbell
ST: Çis Dragãozý
Prediction: Champions
To Watch: Kris Campbell
La Nueva Avenida's biggest worry for a reason. It's no secret that Mâ Âlâmëómë has a squad filled with talented players, and that they've got a solid defense despite a kamikaze mindset. They can beat anyone in a good day, or even thrash them, as was proved when they thrashed Yuba United 4-0. Rôhj Tzâín is one of the hottest prospects in the league, at the age of just nineteen he's defending the Farf goal. Many herald him as the next Lisdiren, I wonder if he can live up to the hopes everyone's got. He's very talented, that's for sure. The defense is composed of Timsson Leabiura, a Vilitan veteran looking to retire after this season, who has been capped for the national team, Climo Coss, a world champion in all youth categories... and the senior category too, and Anna Shrike, by now a legend of the Sideburnese national team. The two centre midfielders are by far the most scary players, though. On the left, Polarian Svenbjorn Einarsson, who by now everybody should've heard of. He'll be the one dictating the tempo and scoring now and then. His partner in crime will be Txai Zubiri, who lost a final to him. Zubiri has got splendid endurance and is likely to recover countless balls. He's known for scoring more than most midfielders too, pretty close to Einarsson's scoring rate. Mâ Âlâmëómë employs three attacking midfielders, as they're more than safe with those two players holding the midfield. On the left, the Apoxian young talent Kaj Aurora, who not long ago had been surprising everyone at Avenida Leal. On the right, Kühâx, a talented right midfielder that would slot into many national teams. The centre attacking midfielder will be Demetrio Alessandri, the one who probably just got tired of fighting relegation with Libertarian Ferdullaele and joined Mâ Âlâmëómë to win something. He's reaching his peak, and he's already been capped with the national team. He's gonna be a big part of the attack. Up front, the Euran striker who was brought up by the Rulandese youth academy, Kris Campbell, is not expected to excel. Really, he's just being used as a starter in order for him to develop his abilities to, in the future, be a fantastic striker for the team. The other guy is the well-known Çis Dragãozý, who had a terrific season last time around. He's going to be Mâ Âlâmëómë's main goal source without a doubt. He's even got a big case for starter of the national team. Oh, and he's sworn loyalty to Mâ Âlâmëómë, so I guess he'll be a very familiar face in two seasons' time. Campbell is the guy to watch, as he just might bloom this season and show his full potential. I doubt it though, but he truly has shown sparks of talent here and there. As for my prediction, I can't really say they won't win the FFL if I've predicted La Nueva Avenida to not be the champions. So, well, I predict them to be crowned
Champions.
Fryi Frêndê
Manager: Fabrifé Barbazul
Assistant: Daúrgyff Morsón
Titles: None
Season 11: 3rd Place
GK: Ferdinando Carracci
LB: Ximo Mata
CB: Kaé Arquéan -
RB: Ifarmé Ibrahim
DM: Basajaun Courtemanche
LM: Hriya Mikatevic
CM: Georgie Zuru
RM: Fer von Heim (C)
OM: Gudjon Infláx
ST: Dalča Nurmanov
ST: Martín Greenville
Prediction: 3rd Place
To Watch: Gudjon Infláx
Fryi Frêndê is a mystery to those who don't look to much into how teams work. They haven't got a lot of money and they haven't got many fantastic players. But they do have got a few things that set them apart from all other teams. First, they only acquire the best of the rest when it comes to players. Just look at the starting line-up. Except for the goalkeeper and the foreigners, all of them have played for Farfadillis' Di Bradini squad, and none of them have played for Farfadillis' national team. Second, their manager is very good at bringing the most out of players. And third, their team chemistry is fantastic. On the goal, Carracci is an experienced goalkeeper who can organize the defense whenever it is needed. The back three is composed of Ximo Mata, a played capable of joining the attack whenever needed, Arquéan, a tall, strong and technically-gifted centre back, who I believe will be their key player, and Ibrahim, a right back who can play anywhere in the defense and the midfield, and consequently can join the attack whenever needed just as Mata. The defensive midfielder is a member of the current Di Bradini squad. He's Basajaun Courtemanche, a player who can hold the defense tight and join the offense from time to time. As a left midfielder, Hriya Mikatevic is an experienced player who can do well both defensively and offensively. The centre midfielder, the Apoxian Georgie Zuru, is the player that will be holding the ball the most thanks to her playmaking abilities. On the right, Fer von Heim will be key with his splendid leadership abilities and his balanced playing style. The offensive midfielder is the cheeky Gudjon Infláx, who will fear no defenders in his look for goals and assists. The two players up front are Nurmanov, a capped Kinitarian who is close to retiring, and Martñin Greenville, a Sunrisian who is trusted by all the fans when it comes to scoring goals. They may not be star-studded, but all their players are above-average for the level of the league, and they all understand each other perfectly. Naturally, though, they lack the Einarssons and the Zonestraals needed to win the title. Infláx will be one to watch, as he showed signs of late blooming last season. I predict the team to do really well thanks to everything I've mentioned, but be beaten by the Novans and the Rulandese. So, well, I predict
3rd Place for them.
Avenida Principal
Manager: Estebe Bularte
Assistant: Iturri Aginaga
Titles: FFL (6)
FFL2 (4)
Season 11: 4th Place
GK: Luke Charmander
LB: José Tirolargo
CB: Tobías Cervántez
RB: Bloody Mary Deschamps
DM: Iván Cervántez
LM: Kaé Dandofogué
CM: André Reneré
RM: Jacques Kemp
OM: Abuda-------------------
ST: Ross Horn
ST: Milan Ikaró (C)
Prediction: 10th Place
To Watch: Kaé Dandofogué
Avenida Principal are a team to be feared, nobody doubts that. However, they do seem to be irregular in what they achieve. One day you see them winning the FFL, the other day you see them failing to qualify to the Globe Cup. It is confusing. Still, their squad looks pretty solid. Charmanders is by now a very well-known goalkeeper in Farfadillis. The Sunrisian will no doubt leave the fans calmed when it comes to taking care of the goal. However, the defense does not look fantastic. They have brought in Bloody Mary Deschamps to try to fix it. Now, the name may sound very scary but... can she fix the defense? I really doubt it. Tobías Cervántez is a good centre back, but nothing too extraordinary. Tirolargo has been recently promoted from the youth team, so he's inexperienced. And, well, Leo Fakkotti left for Valladares. Iván Cervántez is more-than-decent defensive midfielder, and I'm sure he'll do well enough. He's just nothing stunning. On the left, Kaé Dandofogué has been brought in from Pezcemá Golden Magikarps, just as Deschamps. He's a pretty exciting youngster, with an eye for a long shot and a vicious dribbling. André Reneré, a Valladar-Farf player part of the Di Bradini squad, will be the one making the game flow through the centre. He's by no means bad, but it could be a bit too much for him. On the right, Jacques Kemp, the famous Yesopalithan. Recently brought in from La Nueva Avenida for an undisclosed (though big) fee. Kemp will be key to the attack. However, it is their offensive midfielder that strikes fear to the soul of most defenders. Abuda is currently one of the best players of the Sunrisian national team, and has had two fantastic seasons in a row. I wonder why he's still playing at Avenida Principal. One thing is for sure, though, the Knights are lucky to have found such a jewel for such a low price. Up front, much is expected from Sarian superstar Ross Horn, who has shown his potential already and is expected to battle for the top goalscorer award if he's in form. His partner will be the club hero and captain Milan Ikaró, who has announced his retirement following this season. Dandofogué will be the one I'll be watching the most, personally. Who knows what this player might reach? Overall, a very respected team. However, I've just got a gut feeling that this will be a terrible season for them. Don't ask why; I don't know why. But, still, I predict they'll end in
10th Place.
Avenida Leal
Manager: Jorge Carrera
Assistant: Adán Alba
Titles: FFL2 (9)
Season 11: 5th Place
GK: Euforio Cristóbal
LB: Serafino Ferrhe
CB: Severino Almirante
RB: Emiliano González
LM: Frederik Wallenberg
CM: Somuele Cazza
CM: Ostadar Arambilet (C)-
RM: Mavát Garezque
OM: Likko Sendero
ST: Horacio Cornelio
ST: Árbol Saucedo
Prediction: 4th Place
To Watch: Árbol Saucedo
Here are the up-and-comers from some seasons ago. They've surprised everybody by, you know, managing to finish close to the top two times in a row. Many believed they'd lack the fuel to do it the second time, but apparently their previous third place had been by no means luck. They're a team that knows how to make a few good moves in the market, get a few good players from their youth system, and get a good manager to make all the squad work well together. They lost Aurora to Mâ Âlâmëómë last season, but Wallenberg has been a worthy replacement, even if he's a lot older. They've brought in a lot of the best of the rest kind of players, too. Their goalkeeper, Cristóbal, is not all that good, but he's at the level of the league, so it's not something that desperately needs to be fixed. Ferrhe is a pretty good sideback, while Almirante is a natural leader (though not the captain). González is probably the worst player of the starting line-up, though, so the fans should expect to concede most goals due to errors of his. On the left, Wallenberg is a big talent that will be key in just about every attack. He was scouted by the Loyals thanks to the Baptism of Fire in Farfadillis. Needless to say that he impressed the scouts. The two centre midfielders are very talented players. One of them is Somuele Cazza, who used to play for Avenida Decepción. He's one of the most recognized local players, even though he's extremely unlikely to ever get capped. The other one is even better. Ostadar Arambilet, the exciting Astograthian prospect, has already been made captain thanks to what was qualified as "a desperate attempt to keep Ostadar at the club" by the club president. He'll be terrorizing opponents by being a an all-around good midfielder and playmaking. Oh, and he's one of the few players of the league that consistently scores from afar. Give him space at your own risk. On the right, Mavát Garezque is a pretty talented right midfielder. As an offensive midfielder, Likko Sendero, once a Di Bradini Cup runner-up, will be the responsible for playmaking along with Arambilet. The two strikers will be Horacio Cornelio, a striker who thanks to his fantastic performances with Avenida Leal has been capped and played a World Cup as a substitute, and Árbol Saucedo, an exciting Guayabalense prospect. Cornelio is one of the most feared strikers of the league, and Saucedo has everything to prove and nothing to lose. Saucedo will no doubt be the guy to watch, as he might just show why so many Guayabalenses believe he's the next big thing for them. If Avenida Leal can hold onto this team and start polishing it, instead of selling players like Aurora, they might even win the league in a few seasons. I think they should really focus on keeping Arambilet. As for their result, I believe they'll have another great season, ending in
4th Place.
Flying Jellyfish
Manager:
Assistant: Rav Levrev
Titles: None
Season 11: 6th Place
GK: Nikita Guldbrandsen (C)
LB: David Alejandro
CB: Zinoviy Horn
RB: Sjmon d'Kolperiskonjf---
LM: Vojtech Gnesina
CM: Carlo Lombardo
CM: Alwin Arkes
RM: Kilye Penrith
OM: Mirogod Chernyshov
ST: Xi Mørátüabáterían
ST: Nathan Powell
Prediction: 6th Place
To Watch: Kilye Penrith
Flying Jellyfish is one of the few teams that have been consistently good since the very beginning of the league. Probably the most consistent team, as they've always been pretty close to the top, though only finishing in third place twice, and that's the best they've done. They're a well-known team, and one of the most appreciated internationally, mainly because of their name. A flying jellyfish is pretty cool. Too bad few people know that's Farfadillis' national animal, and it pretty much looks like in the logo. But anyway, they're a team with enough money to buy good players, and so have a solid squad as a consequence. Their youth academy brings up more players than any other youth academy, though they're not as good as the end products of some other academies. They were close to going bankrupt some time ago, but their ass was saved by Rancisc Tenian's transfer to Gwinevra Barbarians. They also got some money from his recent transfer to Bjarnarey Flotilla. So, well, what did they do? They spent some of it in international scouting and saved the rest. That yielded the signing of Sameban player Carlo Lombardo, who is rumoured to be a national team prospect. As for the squad, Nikita Guldbrandsen is one of the best goalkeepers of the league (and she's a woman!). She's been handed the armband after Ivyr Johansson left for a Daineri club. The defense is conformed by David Alejandro, a talented young man who has been called up to the national team a few times, Zinoviy Horn, an experienced centre back, and Sjmon d'Kolperiskonjf, who I consider to be their key player. Sjmon is a talented Paradystopian who, thanks to his Vaian manager in the national team, has developed some very good defensive skills. Though he's still fighting to keep his spot in the starting eleven of his national team, no Flying Jellyfish fan even dares to imagine him not being a starter. In the midfield, Gnesina is an ex-Di Bradini squad member, and so is talented enough to warrant a starting spot. The two centre midfielders are Carlo Lombardo, the scouted Sameban that's already been mentioned, and Alwin Arkes, and experienced but average player. On the right, Kilye Penrith is a very exciting prospect. She's a very young Sideburnese player with an eye for a chance to go down the flank and cross. As an offensive midfielder, the Farf-Sunrisian Mirogod Chernyshov is an exciting prospect who might just blossom this season. Up front, Nathan Powell has been trusted with the starting spot for three seasons now, and he has yet to let down the fans. His partner will be the Karditani capped striker Xi Mørátüabáterían, the product of a love affair between the manager and a woman from 95X, both in Karditan at the time because of who-knows. Penrith will definitely be the one to watch. I am just sure we'll see her taking part in a World Cup not far from now. Overall, the squad is solid enough to warrant a top six finish, so I predict they'll indeed end up in
6th Place.
Ferdullaele
Manager: Monuele Tsacó
Assistant: Fizzo Ragnoli
Titles: FFL (1 and 2)
Season 11: 7th Place
GK: Artyom Bergeron
LB: Illi Setentriona
CB: Adréjane Borges
RB: Fernando Lazzia
DM: Fernando Blanco
LM: Septimus Johans
RM: Faroú Derrazambeta
OM: Valdo Ragnere (C)
ST: Toño Baumann------------
ST: Mihail Areleous
ST: Svein Danielsen
Prediction: 8th Place
To Watch: Mihail Areleous
How have the mighty fallen... To think that not too long ago Ferdullaele was infamously scoring a goal every quarter hour, finishing atop of the table with more than two hundred goals, having by far the best line-up of the entire league. Showing off their stars, like Ichi Tuzzio and Yurpá Mêndêlöíndçêl. They even had Dandalleion, though they did not employ him to his full potential. But now they're a middling team. They lack the fantastic players they once had and, to make matters worse, a lot of teams have taken some very good decisions here and there, making them more successful. One needs to look no farther than Avenida Victoria, La Nueva Avenida and Mâ Âlâmëómë. Still, they're not a terrible side, far from it, they've got a few talented players. The goalkeeper is a Sicoutian international, though a substitute. The defense is composed of a capped Farf player - Illi Setentriona -, Adréjane Borges, a mediocre centre back and Fernando Lazzia, who is experienced but was never great. As a defensive midfielder, Fernando Blanco is pretty good holding the opponentes, but really lacking in the attack. The left midfielder is a familiar face to any Farf. Yes, no other than Septimus Johans, the young man who used to be a starter for the national team. The uprise of strikers like Dandalleion, Roga, Tenian, Dragãozý, Fuego, Fôx, Juárez, Fu and the like certainly did Johans no favour back in the day. Yet he was still a starter for quite a lot of time. Alas, he apparently reached his peak very early on his life, and his career started downfalling as soon as he went to Apox - to Gwinevra Barbarians to be more specific. Back at home, now he had to adapt to the midfielder position because he didn't stand a realistic chance of being a starter as a striker. This player represents Ferdullaele's history, I believe. Still a pretty good player, and we might see a few sparks of brilliance that remind us of the old Johans. On the right, the untested Derrazambeta will have a point to prove, and he will surely be an interesting addition to the attack. As an offensive midfielder, the ex-Di Bradini squad member Valdo Ragnere will be captaining Ferdullaele to another mid-table finish. He's quite the talented guy, but everybody had much better hopes for him back when he was younger. Up front, Ferdullaele is actually a pretty good team. They've got their key player, Toño Baumann, a striker with a thirst for glory (which Ferdullaele sadly cannot satiate), the current Di Bradini squad member Mihail Areleous, from whom a lot is expected, and the Svenga international Svein Danielsen. A pretty powerful attack. Areleous will be one to watch. If anyone here comes close to being called up for Farfadillis, it will be him. Overall, the team looks ok, but nothing beyond that. I predict
8th Place for them.
Avenida Victoria
Manager: Ramón Juárez
Assistant: Franco Fortaleza
Titles: FFL (3 and 4)
FFL2 (1)
Season 11: 8th Place
GK: Benjamín Basurto
LB: Isahac Caracoti
CB: Krysia Bailey
RB: Lione Zarastrusesc
LM: Nicolás Villalpando
CM: Tom Ertesen
CM: Roldão D'cruze
RM: Txordin Velazquez (C)
OM: Adeltú Cohújaan
ST: Vasilije Østergård -
ST: Fermín Juárez
Prediction: 7th Place
To Watch: Krysia Bailey
The Ferdullaele slayers. They were the ones who started Ferdullaele's downfall. However, now they seem to be suffering of something similar. Glory lasted long for the Victorians, as they finished in the top three for five consecutive seasons after beating Ferdullaele to the title. Yet they haven't won the league since season four, and they might've forgotten how it feels. Truth is, Avenida Victoria is always a bit of a candidate, but as of late they've been starting to fall off the map. Velazquez is forty-six and is still a starter. That says everything (though this is Farfadillis, it's not that incredible). They'll be hungry to recover their former glory, but somebody should tell them they've got the money to buy some better players. Now, don't get me wrong, they have some good players, but they've got no player who can match Einarsson or Zonestraal. Benjamín Basurto is a very experienced and skilled goalkeeper. Nothing too spectacular, but good nonetheless. Their defense is completely foreign, with Caracoti, the Kinitarian, Bailey, the human Equestrian (isn't that an oxymoron?) and Zarastrusesc the Kitsune. That is on very good defense, As a left midfielder, Villalpando will be a good-but-not-great player of whom we'll hear little. The two centre midfielders are going to be Tom Ertesen, the Mytanar, and Roldão D'cruze. Some fanatics of the Farf national team (that means
all categories) might remember him from the U-15 WC he partook in. He's a pretty talented player, but he's pretty slow. On the right, the legendary Txordin Velazquez (who does not yet need a walking stick!). As an offensive midfielder, Adeltú Cohújaan is one of the best there is in the league, so they're completely covered there. The strikers are both capped for the national team, with one of them still being called up. I'm talking about Vasilije Østergård, the star and key player, and Fermín Juárez, the man who sank Ferdullaele. Their attack is solid too. Overall, I don't see them getting that many chances, but their attack is gonna do a lot with very little. Bailey will be one to watch, who knows what this Equestrian who isn't quite equestrian might have up her sleeves? As for the season ahead, I can't imagine them doing worse than
5th Place, and would find it quite surprising if they did better.

Foraé is certainly a club on the rise. From the lower depths of the Farf football pyramid they've gone all the way up to ending in mid-table in the top flight. It is not as remarkable as Mâ Âlâmëómë's rise, but Foraé deserves recognition anyway. The Rulandese club has avoided the red zone rather comfortably for three seasons straight now, and has yet to taste relegation. That said, they are not a fantastic, glorious awe-inspiring side. They should do well for their modest resources, but not more than that. Ívath Jôkér is a mediocre goalkeeper at best. The defense, composed of Errekochoa - an untested Faroleran -, Fârró, an experienced but middling at best centre back and Yrybary, an ok Faroleran, is probably their biggest concern. They really should've tried to make that line look better. I mean, in whatever way possible. Oslovan Dargabinn, a Karuvan, sort of saves the team thanks to his stamina and tactical awareness, but he can't deal with everything by himself. Luckily for Foraé, their attack is way better. As a left midfielder, Gorôvôvô is key to starting some swift counterattacks. In the very middle, Kâvâlé will be the key to any success to be had by this team, he'll be the one making the game flow for the team. If he can get a few good long passes to start counterattacks, Foraé will have a few points in the bag already. On the right, I've never heard of Ronaldé, but I've been told he's fast. That's all I know. Fîrá, the captain of the team, is one very gifted offensive midfielder with a lot of future to look towards. He's been handed the armband in order to build his confidence. If he shows his talent to its fullest extent this season, Foraé might surprise more than one person. Up front, Horacio Cornelio, who once played for La Nueva Avenida's youth academy (and should not be confused with Avenida Leal's Horacio Cornelio) is going to be a threat for most teams in the lower half of the table. His partner, Grékô, is an experienced veteran striker who knows more than just a few tricks, and it is likely that he will be Foraé's main goal source. As said, Fîrá will certainly be one to watch. Overall, it's a pretty solid team, but it is not good enough to aim for UICA spots just yet, I've got the feeling that they'll be in
9th Place by the end of the season.

Geyinstanles United are a well-known team by now. They are not fantastic and never have been. They were the first team to finish last in the FFL. That is some interesting record... I guess. Overall, there's not much to be said about their history and all that. They're a pretty boring team to describe when you think of it. Still, last season was great for them, and their fans will be looking to repeat a mid-table position. Irrhemaenen is good enough for them; they won't have many concerns when it comes to who will be protecting the goal. Allard and Garefté are two ok defenders, but don't expect them to stop every Zonestraal and his brother (Ha! Get it?). Joining them in the backline is Ohmadarlin Clementine - I am not liable for this terrible atrocity of a name. If the name sounds bad to you, just remember that Pitsburger Fiddlebums left for Ximun Orieta of Astograth and so won't be on the team. As a whole, the defense is pretty organized. As for the midfield, I can't say it does not look solid. On the left, Frauxé Di Razambetti (not to be confused with Ferdullaele's Faroú Derrazambeta) is a very good player coming from Fryi Frêndê's youth academy. He'll be key to most attacks. The two centre midfielders are Fierrhe and Poggi, two players of above-average tackling and workrate who know how to get an assist or a goal every now and then. On the right, the untested Lounoi Aká is a player who many United fans deem their future saviour. Time will tell if he can live up to that. Their offensive midfielder is the pretty talented Michelangelo Raffello, who will be the key playmaker of the team. Up front, the captain Mariano Rumbán will be trying to get as many goals as possible. His partner is Geyinstanles' key to success, Issama Mbongo-Dongo, maybe the best target-man the league has. Too bad very few Farves play that position, so being the best in that means very little. As for the player to watch, it's obviously Aká. If what the fans say is true, watching him on TV (or even going to the stadium) can't be wasted money on watching this young talent. Time will tell how he'll develop. As a whole, the team looks good enough to do similarly to last season's good performance. I say
11th Place.
