Welcome to the United Kingdom of Valladares!
To our visitors; the players, officials, and fans of the teams competing in the tenth Copa Rushmori,
First of all, we would like to warmly welcome you to our nation, and we hope the experience will be as enjoyable for all those involved from Valladares as it is for all those travelling to Valladares and the people watching the matches worldwide.
I am King Charles V, the Head of State of the United Kingdom of Valladares, Overseas Ruler of Nileville and Whirl Islands, and Their Respective Colonies, Territories and Dominions, to give my full title. You will find that we are different in ways, and we are similar in ways to your own nations. We ask that these differences be respected, from our rule of law to our customs, in the same way that we will respect your right to speak your mind freely here without fear of prosecution.
While not wishing to be a killjoy, we hope that the following be noted so as to make your experience here a pleasant one.
First and foremost – we often use Spanish to speak among ourselves. Spanish is our official language. English, French and Portuguese are widely spoken (and also official in some regions and federally), but every valladar citizen or migrant in Valladares must at least dominate Spanish or be fluent in English. If you do not understand Spanish, you can bring or hire your own interpreter.
The number for emergencies is 123, reachable from any phone, be it mobile or a land-line. Inside some companies, you may find you first need to dial a 1 to reach an external line before dialing 123 as usual, though all companies (from “big business” to restaurants and shops) and other public venues (museums, stadiums, etc) are required by law to display adequate signing advising on this.
Emergency vehicles are marked with the name of the service (be it Police, Fire, or Ambulance), and are also equipped with a siren and flashing either blue or red lights. If you encounter one of these vehicles while the lights, the sirens or both are active, please take extra care, and if necessary, pull over at the nearest and safest opportunity, using your indicator (turn signal) to ensure that the driver of the emergency vehicle is aware of your actions.
Though unlikely, if you need medical care in Valladares, it will not come with a cost to visitors with the appropriate travel insurance. You will find our hospitals are state-of-the-art, with the best equipment, treatments and employees available.
The fire service in Valladares is also well equipped and able to deal with any eventuality.
You will find that all police officers are armed with either a standard pistol or a semi-automatic rifle depending on the branch of the Police Force (City, State, and National) they belong to. However, this does not mean they should not be approached if you have a question. Police Officers have excellent training, and patrol areas they are familiar with, so if you are lost, they are often the best people to consult. First and foremost, though, they are keepers of the peace, and will not hesitate to involve themselves in anything they feel is likely to endanger members of the public, or cause criminal damage to private property.
Onto sport – Valladares has a established football/soccer heritage, playing in some international competitions around the world. We play football on both international and club levels, having 5 professional divisions before reaching federal and local levels. Our National Football Team, nicknamed "Le Tricolore" or "Les Gones" entered to the international stage in the Baptism of Fire for the World Cup 47, and it has achieved some important achievements, despite its short international history, like for example a second place at the 49th Cup of Harmony. As for our clubs, our best teams are Fontvielle Impact, two-time Champions' Cup winners, Metropolis Alligators and Marinos Metropolis, both from Metropolis (our capital city) and both one-time Globe Cup winners. In addition to this, Valladares has won the most recent U-17 Rushmori Championship, held in Mangolana prior to the start of this competition.
Our official page (wiki) is: http://www.nswiki.net/index.php?title=Valladares. The wiki is also a massive source of other information, though our writers have gotten lazy lately and not updated anything about Valladares.
While travelling around Valladares, you will see differing sites. From the medieval roads and alleyways of Canalave, in the northwest of the nation, and its docks, one of the busiest trade ports in the region, supplying our nation, our allies, and our region with food and other goods, to the industrial metropolis that is Carloburgo, our second largest city, with spectacular views to the Valladar Southern Alps, and our powerful Hamanos Dam, which supplies with energy our nation, and it's an excellent place to practise water sports.
With all that said, Valladares is a unique country, one proud of its heritage and its people, and is more than welcoming of those visiting our nation. Valladares welcomes you with joy!
Remember that for more touristic information, you can always call to our Royal Ministry of Tourism. Just dial 031 573 5743 from any phone, be it mobile or a land-line.
Yours Sincerely,
His Royal Highness, King Charles V
King of the United Kingdom of Valladares.
David Villarreal Alarcón,
Prime Minister of Valladares
Home of Metropolis Alligators and Marinos Metropolis, both powerhouses in Valladar football and Leones de Metrópolis, an amateur baseball team, the Dome or "the Big D", as it is known by the locals, is located in downtown Metropolis (the Valladar capital) and seats 65,000 people in its football configuration. One of the newest and most modern stadia in the nation, with state-of-the-art amenities, like luxurious VIP boxes, restaurants, gyms, and even an observatory from which you can see a fantastic view of the cityscape and its neighboring areas, it provides all the ingredients needed for an unforgettable fan experience. The Dome will be home to all the matches played by the hosts during the group stage.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Valladares vs. Aquillian
MD2: Cassadaigua vs. Valladares
MD3: Valladares vs. Carmadin
City of Metropolis Stadium is an all-seater football stadium, located in the district of Poblado (one of the wealthy districts of the city), to the southeast of Metropolis, and was built in 1953 for the VI Juegos Nacionales de Valladares, held in Metropolis. This stadium serves as host for Club Nacional, twice Valladar Super League champions, and was the most important stadium in the city, before the Metropolis Dome and the National Stadium were built and opened (despite its decades of decline and neglect). It was rated by the Valladar Football Association (VFA) as an A-Class Stadium, the second highest rating given by the VFA to any stadium in Valladares, after the Top Stadium rating (which has only been awarded so far to the National Stadium in Metropolis and White Meadow Arena in Carloburgo), and was also recently expanded and refurbished with the addition of new bars, restaurants and corporate entertainment areas. This stadium seats 47,826 people and will see the Carmadese, Cassadagan, and Aquillian national teams in action, each one playing twice here in this group stage.

MD1: Carmadin vs. Cassadaigua
MD2: Carmadin vs. Aquillian

Located in the outskirts of the city of Carloburgo, 20 minutes away from the city centre, this stadium is one of the newest in the nation, having been inaugurated by Tannenberg FC at the start of the tenth Valladar Super League season (16 seasons ago). The "Bowl", as the stadium is nicknamed by TFC fans, is fully equipped and able to increase its capacity in exceptional cases thanks to retractable stands on the ends which can bring the spectators (specially those ones in the Knights End, home to Tannenberg's hardcore fans) closer to the pitch, greatly improving the game's atmosphere and fan experience. White Meadow Arena seats 69,070 people and will be the main headquarters for Group B, while also hosting one Group E match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Homelands our vs. Astograth - The FSSO vs. West Zirconia
MD2: West Zirconia vs. Homelands our - The FSSO vs. Astograth
MD3: Homelands our vs. The FSSO - Pasarga vs. Ancharmunn (Group E)
One of the oldest football stadia still in use in the nation, the Alain Tramontin Stadium is located in the Villeneuve district, in the south of Eterna City. It was opened in 1966, with a capacity of 55,000 and the first and sole tenants of the ground have been the Eterna Stars, who have played at this stadium since their foundation in 1969. It has been the subject of at least three renovations to prevent its deterioration, and remains as the most important stadium in the Eterna state. As it is surrounded by houses, the sale of alcohol and the presence of away ultras near the stadium is restricted by the local authorities, and since you will come during our "summer" season, be careful: don't forget your caps!
The hottest games of Group C will be held at this stadium, with a couple of teams from Group F also making the trip from Canalave to play their last group stage match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Mangolana vs. Napland - Wild Isle vs. Chenkorya
MD2: Chenkorya vs. Mangolana - Wild Isle vs. Napland
MD3: Mangolana vs. Wild Isle - Virabia vs. Megadia (Group F)
The Stade de la Frontière, home to the current Valladar and global champions Fontvielle Impact will be the venue for Copa Rushmori action in the Foix state. Located to the south of Fontvielle, an industrial city in the south of the nation, this stadium underwent some remodeling works looking to prepare it for the Copa Rushmori, which included an increase of its capacity from 36,500 to 41,378 seats. This also included the installment of more VIP boxes and more restaurants in which dishes prepared with Tamount cheeses or milk are the main attraction. Aside from the stadium and the factories, there's no much to visit in Fontvielle, although the Parc de l'Eau, an amusement park, and the historic Place du Centre stand as important places in the city.
Fontvielle will be the main venue for Group D and will also feature a single Group G match on the final matchday.

This stadium is located in Pradera, the capital city of the Antioquia state (west of Valladares' mainland) and the eighth most populous city in Valladares. Built in 1983 and named after Carlos Humberto Villa, Governor-General of the Antioquia State between 1975 and 1985, it has a 25,572 capacity and became an all-seater stadium after its most recent refurbishment. It is located in the Primavera neighbourhood, which is in the northeast of the city and serves as home stadium for both Pradera FC and Hamanos Athletic Club (from the nearby town of Hamanos), teams that have not been very successful in the Valladar Super League. Because of this, local fans are extremely impatient and noisy and tend to exert pressure over their own players (and the rivals, too), however, most of them are kind people willing to receive their guests with a smile.
The Estadio Gobernador Villa will host five Group E matches involving teams like Civil Citizenry, Polar Islandstates, Pasarga, and Ancharmunn and a single Group B match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Civil Citizenry vs. Ancharmunn - Polar Islandstates vs. Pasarga
MD2: Pasarga vs. Civil Citizenry - Polar Islandstates vs. Ancharmunn
MD3: Civil Citizenry vs. Polar Islandstates - West Zirconia vs. Astograth (Group B)
Group F is gonna be a hell, and not because of the teams in it, but because of the stadium they'll have to play in: Yes, Dragon Stadium, the "Dragon's Den" (as nicknamed by Canalave Dragons fans) is a hell. And that is because Canalave's climate is hot, sunny, and humid, which may become in a disadvantage for any team coming to play here for the first time. Despite that and in spite of the fact it can only seat 35,000 people, it's still a comfortable stadium with excellent facilities. Maybe the only disadvantage it has is...the stands are too far from the pitch!
Dragon Stadium will be the main stadium for Group F, and will also host one Group C match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Swartaz vs. Megadia - Michael VII vs. Virabia
MD2: Virabia vs. Swartaz - Michael VII vs. Megadia
MD3: Swartaz vs. Michael VII - Chenkorya vs. Napland (Group C)
Group G teams will have to travel to the mountains of eastern Valladares, to the beautiful city of Campo Grande, the "Garden City" to play their first matches in the competition. The Estádio Estadual is a collosal stadium capable to seat 50,000 fans, and is home to both SC Caimanes and Chiquito FC, fierce rivals. This stadium is an Architectural Patrimony of the Nation, having won the Valladar Architectural Prize in 1983, two years after its construction. Maybe this stadium has the same problems as Canalave's, but the fan experience is sure to be greatly improved by the fantastic stadium's environment and atmosphere. This stadium will play host to all Group G matches except one, which will replaced by a Group D match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Saugeais vs. Mashiki - Darmen vs. Queer Poco el Mono Ara
MD2: Queer Poco el Mono Ara vs. Saugeais - Darmen vs. Mashiki
MD3: Saugeais vs. Darmen - Mapletish vs. Falconfar (Group D)
Westlands Stadium, located in the Adelaide suburb of Hoxford, in the Westlands, was a last-minute addition to the list of host stadia. Being an all-seater stadium with capacity for 17,000 people and home to the Hoxford Rovers, currently playing in the Valladar Super League, Westlands Stadium is not as luxurious or comfortable as other CR venues, but the CRX Organizing Committee is sure that Group H teams and their officials and fans will eventually be able to find its charm. It will host one Group I game as well.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Krytenia vs. Camwood - Sargossa vs. Jen O the Hill
MD2: Jen O the Hill vs. Krytenia - Sargossa vs. Camwood
MD3: Krytenia vs. Sargossa - Filopines vs. Sicoutimont (Group I)
And last but not least, we travel to the capital of the Westlands, Edmonton, and its picturesque Albert Field. This small stadium (20,000 seats) is always packed by Edmonton United fans, who create a warm enough environment to dissipate the eternal cold present in this beautiful city all year long. Albert Field will be host to the reigning Copa Rushmori champions, Western Cuba and their 3 group stage matches, plus 2 other Group I matches and a single Group H match.
Group stage matches to be played there:
MD1: Western Cuba vs. Sicoutimont - Phoenigetuzstha vs. Filopines
MD2: Filopines vs. Western Cuba - Phoenigetuzstha vs. Sicoutimont
MD3: Western Cuba vs. Phoenigetuzstha - Jen O the Hill vs. Camwood (Group H)
