With great pride, the organisers of the Cuppet would like to formally welcome applications to enter their third instalment, and with thanks to the FPIFA for their support in getting the tournament up and running, would now like to bring the Cuppet roadshow to another nation/sub-national region, and are therefore welcoming host bids.
The Cuppet is intended as a competition for puppets, sub-national regions, and lesser footballing nations. Taking the VIVA World Cup as its inspiration, the main entry requirement being that the nation is not affiliated with the WCC or a part of the KPB rankings. Realistically, this could restrict entry from a number of teams, so rules have been adjusted below accordingly.
HOST BIDS:
The tournament is open to host bids this cycle, and bids will be voted on by those already signed up. I will close host bids and open the voting process at an appropriate time. However, this is still my tournament, and so there is one condition to me accepting your bid - All candidates for hosting must have been an active participant (a roster and at least one RP) in the last Cuppet. Which nation this was posted with doesn't matter, so long as it was under control of the same user the bidding nation is. The host nation doesn't have to be a participant itself, so User A could take part with nations B and C in the last Cuppet, and enter them again this Cuppet but bid with their master nation D if they wish. I don't see that that would necessarily break the spirit of the tournament and would be perfectly acceptable. What matters is the user has shown me that they get what the event is about by participating in the last one. Other than that, the usual kind of bids please, scorination and RP bonus and format etc are left up to you, and participants will vote for what/who they want.

ENTRY:
Each individual user may enter up to three entrants into the Cuppet, as long as each obeys the following rules:
- FOR ALL ENTRIES, any KPB rank that team may have must be <2.00 on the latest KPB rankings available to me.
- FOR ALL ENTRIES, any team entering cannot be either signed up for the next WCC-cycle, or have been a participant in any currently ongoing WCC-cycle.
- FOR SUB-NATIONAL ENTRIES, in the spirit of VIVA competitions that see sub-national entries like Provence and Catalunya play each other, sub-national entries are encouraged to enter the Cuppet as well. These sub-national entries would ideally need to have an IC reason to justify their entry into the Cuppet, but it isn't mandatory for the user behind the 'master'-nation to create a new account for the sub-nation - provided their RPing as the sub-national entry was made explicitly clear during the sign-ups and rostering. Sub-national entries will be limited at two-per-user and will count from the limit of 3 entrants overall.
- FOR SUB-NATIONAL ENTRIES, your team roster must not contain more than ten players who have caps for the full national team of which your sub-nation is a part of. Please also note that your side will be playing teams of amateurs from around the world with enforced similar ranks, so a team crammed with national team-ers getting beaten by a team of fifth tier footballers from Bjarnarey could be intensely embarrassing for your nation.
Please Note:
This tournament is not affiliated with the WCC events at all, and only uses KPB ranks as a guide for entry. Your team's performance in the Cuppet neither affects, or is affected by, KPB rank. If a new nation/puppet goes from entering this to entering the Baptism of Fire, it will gain you no advantage and may stop you entering the Cuppet in the future. A lot of this tournament will run on the honour system, and trusting users not to mess things around or try to manipulate the system. So be nice, please.
RANKS:
I am not using KPB ranks for this event, instead using my own ranks, generated only to maintain a little bit of continuity between editions. Please also not that a nation appearing in the rankings doesn't necessarily mean it is eligible to take part this edition.
Puppet entries should be made by the puppet and confirmed by the user, or vice-versa I suppose. Sub-national entries can be made in either post.

For those still interested, the second edition can be found HERE.
