Was this the other side of the pact you made with Margaret to win WBC 28?

But yeah, am I the only one that feels that way?
Just my option on the FRR nothing personal on the user himself btw.

Apparently I'm the team that everyone wants to beat... And does...

Clearly Globo Gym.
Though FR/Saintland's quite a good RPer. Creepy gym owners are probably pretty bad at that.

I've read some of Saintland (and Free Republics) RPs in the World Cup and stuff and honestly I can say that, they just seem like such the nation everyone would hate, the Yankees of Nationstates Sports if you will. Like Felix said nothing personal, just saying. Also just to mention Gregoryisgodistan's RPs accusing Saintland of all this random stuff is pretty funny, I don't know if any of you guys have read his RPs.

Yes, indeed they would seem to have all the traits of a good "bad guy" nation. That is, except for one key element which prevents me from developing a true Equestrian-Republican rivalry: actually being good.
So far as I can tell, Equestrian and Republican teams have faced each other four times (that I can remember) since the Free Republics first debuted at the 27th Di Bradini Cup. The Equestrian States' national teams have won three of those meetings, while the only other match resulted in a draw and was RPed as being Equestrian-dominated. Without any notable Republican successes, the only reason Equestrian fans can find to dislike the Free Republics would be the speciesism of their manager. Even then, it's more of the Equestrians looking down upon the Republicans as a bunch of upstarts rather than hatred of an equal.Equestrian States 1-0 Free Republics (Di Bradini Cup 27, Final)
Equestrian States 1–1 Free Republics (World Cup 65 Qualifying, MD8)
Free Republics 1–3 Equestrian States (World Cup 65 Qualifying, MD17)
Free Republics 0-1 Equestrian States (U-15 World Cup 6, MD3)
They're the 'bad guy' rival who sees themselves as sooooo much better... but you somehow always beat them.

I don't have nothing against them but they act as a Bulldog (brave and strong) but when you win them a game, they act like a Chihuahua or a Toy Poodle.
Ninja edit: it's Poodle, not Puddle.

He didn't need what Margaret did to him today, that's for sure. There's a few nations I feel bad for right now, but we all know how things can be sometimes. Still not even at halfway if there's any silver lining.
