Now, I don't typically comment on groups in the WCDT, but this one looks to be very, very, interesting indeed...

I think you'll be up against it against that last team. They'll be dancing in the streets of Channel 4 News Team tonight...

As far as I can work out, when I use the find function it goes to a different section where the teams are listed in alphabetical order rather then by rank number. This hasn't happened before when I've used the function.

That could be because I've listed the WC69 entry list in alphabetical order on the second page of the spreadsheet, so those who haven't yet figured out the search function can find their (opponents') ranks easily. If people do not like it, I can scrap it.

Personally, I think its a good idea, even if it might confuse the search function.

So, for some reason my KPB ranking went down between the end of 68 and the beginning of 69. My ranking didn't really change, but I just lost half a point to my KPB. Wondering what's up.

Post-68: https://docs.google.com/a/elon.edu/spre ... 1352403665

Pre-69: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

Rank goes from 84 to 85, but KPB goes from 10.39 to 9.89.

Possibly your BoF points dropping out of the equation.
EDIT: Just checked, it would be, as BoF 54 is no longer part of the rankings.

Ok, thanks. It was a bit of a shock and definitely hurts my chances at qualifying, slim though they were. Maybe it'll give me a good RP angle. At least I didn't drop as much as The Sarian. 78th to 87th isn't bad, but 11.20 to 9.84 hurts.

More incentive to RP... [/positivespin]

But seriously, I knew about the drop beforehand, so it wasn't really a shock to me.

Mains and puppets being in the same group caused the infamous Spaamgate incident back in World Cup 9.

Just notices that Sargossa and I have had exactly the same points totals in the last three qualifying cycles. The only thing separating us is the fact that his 2 points in a World Cup group stage 3 cycles ago trumps my 4th place finish at the CoH 3 cycles ago by 0.18 KPB.

Right, as I've been away recently, this is gonna be a bit of a long post.

First, congrats United Eastedge, a well deserved win, comieserations PIS. That BoF was a strong one and I'm scared to face some of you in the future.

Secondly, in my opinion, having puppets in the same group as master nations is unfair, as situation several users including me are experiencing. It feels awkward knowing that I could (and let me be clear, I do not plan to) try to win/lose games with one nation to benefit the other.

And NSI,

I agree with Jeckland, it doesn't seems fair when a puppet is the the same group as its master nation, especially when there's 20-25 groups.
