Anyone wishing to bid to host either the WC or the BoF has until MIDDAY (BST) MONDAY 27th MAY to post a bid. For those who struggle with time zones, this is roughly 40 hours from this post. Ample time.

After this deadline, if there are no further bids, I will open the host voting.

When does it start?

Well, both it and the BoF need hosts first, which is at least a week away, if not more. With regional competitions ongoing, I suspect the earliest we'd be looking at the start of the BoF is two weeks from now, then another 2-3 for the World Cup.

In other words, no definite answer, but late June/early July

I am aware that the WCC/EWCC lists have not been updated to post-WC64 levels, but I see no reason why this should prevent people who know they will be on the lists from voting. For those unsure if they have either slipped off one list or made it onto the other, my advice is to vote anyway, and I will only count eligible votes when it comes to the count. Having never done it before from scratch, I will hopefully be able to enlist the help of former presidents to update the lists when I get back from work tonight.
