Over 180 nations will be battling for the customary 32 spots in the field, with entries closing on Thursday, May 17. Although it is a bit early to post a firm schedule, it is not too early to introduce (or re-introduce) your players to the world. Post your rosters here!

As you post your roster, please remember to mention your style modifier. This can range from +5 to -5, with +5 a maximum offensive alignment and -5 its counterpart on defence.

You’ll also want to include this RP permissions box or its equivalent.

Harjeland National Football Team

Manager: Leifur Sigurvaldason
Asst. Manager: Gunnar Kolmansson
Nickname: The Puffins
International Record: 1-1-1
Style Mod: +3

Roster:

GK- Geirfinnur Hartmannsson- Age 27- Knattspyrnufélag Bolúvík (3rd Captain)

Hartmannsson is known as a reliable, level-headed player who never lets his emotions take hold of him. Good mentor to younger players, but sometimes has problems dealing with corners and high balls. Has peculiar habits before games, having to take public transportation to the stadium and wash his gloves in vinegar.

GK- Jan Eyjólfsson- Age 35- Knattspyrnufélag Stríðsær

Formerly first-choice ‘keeper, it seems as though his international glory days are almost at an end, but nonetheless is a dependable backup to Hartmannsson.

GK- Klængur Brynjarsson- 25- HF Völnarinn

A young player, Brynjarsson is nonetheless a very mature player, good with making decisions. Though he has some skill, he has problems with handling and may not be good enough yet for the big stage.

LB- Börkur Víkingsson- 32- HK Fjóllbærin

A former star that has lost most of his speed and agility, but still represents a landmark in defense. Mentor to the young Heiðarsson, who is seen as his heir after his looming retirement.

LB- Vagn Heiðarsson- 18- UMFK (The Babbage Islands)

Seen as a young star in an aging defense, he possesses many qualities like that of a young Víkingsson, with lots of speed and agility and a fierce shot.

CB- Guðjón Valsson- 34- Knattspyrnufélag Bolúvík (Vice-captain)

A very strong player good with tackling and marking but lacks the speed to deal with quick-footed attackers. An old-time hero for Harjeland, the hard-tackling veteran reckons he has a few more years left in him.

CB- Patrekur Brynjúlfsson- 28- Íþróttabandalag Árnær

Never outstanding but never disappointing, the towering defender has shown unwavering loyalty to his nation and small-town club, and has earned the respect of the entire team.

CB- Einar Þórðarson- 24- Trelson (Mantwenic)

A very intelligent player, although Þórðarson lacks the strength to deal with large attackers. His small stature doesn’t exactly help with crosses either, but he is very good with the ball at his feet, and he often goes up to support the midfield.

CB- Barði Sigurleifsson- 36- Íþróttafélag Ráfnavík

Another old veteran, however, he still has tons of energy when he plays, even if he isn’t so fast anymore. Good with shooting, but has trouble getting back to defend on counter-attacks quickly, and the defender huffs and puffs around the pitch.

RB- Bergvin Andersson- 31- Knattspyrnufélag Bolúvík

A weak position compared to the rest of the team, Andersson is a decent player but with no real backup, so if he suffers an injury, the team could face a real defensive crisis.

LM- Valgarður Ómarsson- 23- FC Green Star (The Babbage Islands)

A pacey and arrogant winger that is very good on counter-attacks, but that sometimes lets his fierce temper show. He collects as many fouls as he dishes out, but is seen as a great future asset and the best talent on the team. Faces competition from fellow youngster Skjaldarson for a place in the starting XI.

LM- Björn Skjaldarson- 21- Viktoria Baden (The Babbage Islands)

Lacks some of the pace of his competition, but makes up for it with superior passing and crossing. A very mature player, he sometimes looks like a man amongst boys on the field.

CDM- Hallsteinn Eiríksson- 37- FC Bolúvík 56

The workhorse of the team, he is retiring from international football at the end of the tournament but was included to give the faded star one last run out. However, expect only a cameo or two, as the portly tackler may not be good or fast enough anymore for the international stage.

CM- Gísli Ásbergsson- 31- Íþróttafélag Strímstraður

The little fellow is beloved throughout the nation with his tireless work ethic and determination. Goes for the simple pass rather than dribbling, but has a mighty boot.

CM- Frímann Kristínarsson- 31- HK Fjóllbærin

A natural partner to Ásbergsson, he shares an almost telepathic link with his fellow midfielder in the center of the pitch. Ásbergsson has speed, while he has size and strength. He's a freekick specialist, and can put a crazy spin on the ball. Been involved with more than a few incidents off of the pitch, though, and his leadership skills are sometimes questionable.

CM- Steingrímur Viggósson- 22- Knattspyrnufélag Bolúvík

A very bright star in an old midfield core, he brings speed and creativity that his colleagues lack, with an eye for killer passes. He prefers to try the more complex move rather than the simple one, and isn't afraid to take his chances when given. Still needs to get more physical to get a place in the starting XI, though.

RM- Þórir Ingvarsson- 25- Íþróttafélag Strímstraður

There's only one word to describe him: fast. The winger can leave anyone on the team for dead, even his talented colleague on the other wing, Ómarsson. However, his crossing and defending are not up to scratch, which holds him back to a point.

RM- Ásmund Bergþórsson- 23- Knattspyrnufélag Stríðsær

A solid backup to Ingvarsson, and like him in many ways, but more of a well-rounded player than his competition, being excellent at nothing while decent at everything.

ST- Gunnar Sigurgeirsson- 33- Knattspyrnufélag Bolúvík (Captain)

Almost worshiped in Harjeland, he is by far the most potent attacking threat on the team, and can only be described as a poacher. In his later years, he has adapted to a loss of speed by letting others do the hard part, and always being in the right place at the right time to score.

ST- Ívar Rögnvaldsson- 26- Knattspyrnufélag Stríðsær

Much more technical than his strike partner, with excellent footwork but not really an eye for the finish. Almost always does the hard part, before setting up goals on a plate to others, mostly Sigurgeirsson. Occasionally does get on the score sheet, though.

ST- Víðir Óttarsson- 23- FC Brynúvík

A very, very clinical finisher, with speed but not really a dribbler. The master of back-post goals, he is good at heading and shooting. A great young talent in the mold of Sigurgeirson, whom he is tipped to replace in a couple years.

ST- Björn Vagnsson- 31- HF Völnarinn

Not nearly as good as he used to be, he is the definition of a washed-out star. Still capable of getting a goal or two, but he looks to have an earlier than average retirement. Nevertheless, he is still a strong backup player.

ST- Mohamed Sørenson- 23- Íþróttabandalag Árnær

Another good youngster, he's not a speedster like many of his colleagues, and is not good at getting forward on the counter. However, he has a slow but devastating dribbling style that few others can replicate. Defenders say they can see what's coming when he runs at them, but often his footwork is so complex that he leaves them for dead with an astonishingly slow pace. A rather unusual player, one might say.

Formation:
4-1-2-1-2

---------------Sigurgeirsson-------Rögnvaldsson---------------
---------------------------Ásbergsson----------------------------
--Ingvarsson----------------------------------------Ómarsson--
--------------------------Kristínarsson---------------------------
--Víkingsson------Valsson-------Brynjúlfsson----Andersson--
-------------------------Hartmannsson---------------------------

Sorry 'bout the big size.

Qazox' World Cup 60 Roster

Postby Qazox » Sun May 13, 2012 3:47 pm

Another early exit for the Eagles 4 years ago, and once again, the only question remains: Can this team actually be a contender? Karim Zaki, in the final Cup of his contract, though he is likely to be extended; will have to replace almost every starter from his first two cup teams. Can Qazox finally conquer their demons, or will they fall short once again?

Returning Starters in bold.
Newcomers in italics.

KINITARIA NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM
Manager: Tofiq Yurovič (age 61)
Home stadium: Central Stadium, Mi'ato (capacity 68,000)
Style mod: +2

Image

The chosen 26 are more or less as most people predicted. They'll generally play in an attacking 4-4-2, which can mould into a 4-3-3 as Kristijan Preda drifts forward. When a defensive formation is needed, they'll shift to a 5-3-2.

Image
1. Costin Petran
Position: Goalkeeper
Team: 1. Maja
Age: 27
Height: 6'1"
Kinitaria's first-choice keeper. Always reliable if a little eccentric. He can always be trusted to do a good, solid job at the heart of the defense, but he has been known to let his emotions get the better of him and it's cost his team a goal more than once.

Image
2. Karl Sala
Position: Left-back
Team: Mi'ato
Age: 22
Height: 5'11"
One of the top players in an outstanding Mi'ato team which sits second in the league coming up to the mid-season break. A very strong player, but always plays fairly and is very rarely so much as booked.

Image
3. Doran Lupei
Position: Centre-back
Team: Litora United
Age: 24
Height: 5'10"
An old-fashioned centre-back, Lupei is more likely to scythe down an onrushing attacker than try to go with him or beat him for pace - he's too slow for that. This gives him a minor disciplinary concern.

Image
4. Yansu Minkov (VICE CAPTAIN)
Position: Centre-back
Team: Avnani Athletic
Age: 30
Height: 6'0"
Well respected by the rest of the team, it's a very long time since he had a truly horrific game. He firmly believes he's got a long time left to play yet.

Image
5. Anton Spirlea
Position: Right-back
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 21
Height: 5'8"
The smallest of the first-choice back four, he's very adept at marking and can anticipate a cross extremely well. He's been known to take a few free-kicks and has scored five goals in half a season for Mi'ato City.

Image
6. Leon Cantacuzino
Position: Left midfield
Team: Litora United
Age: 25
Height: 5'7"
A tricky midfielder who likes to use his skills to slip past opponents. The problem is, he sometimes tries to do too much, which leaves him messing up and looking embarrassed more often than not.

Image
7. Kristijan Preda
Position: Central/attacking midfield
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 23
Height: 5'8"
A very versatile midfielder, Preda has been known to play up front or on the wing for his club. His pace is excellent but his distribution of the ball leaves something to be desired.

Image
8. Yulian Kovačev (CAPTAIN)
Position: Central midfield
Team: Mi'ato
Age: 31
Height: 5'10"
Always prepared to give 100% for club and country, his popularity amongst Kinitar football fans is almost universal. Sticks to his strengths and does what's needed of him.

Image
9. Čyran Malpomir
Position: Centre forward
Team: Mi'ato
Age: 27
Height: 5'8"
Malpomir is known as a potent striker, although "goal-poacher" would probably be a more accurate description. He can always find the right place to be to slot home from a few yards.

Image
10. Luka Sabčot
Position: Centre forward
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 24
Height: 5'7"
This man is a talisman for Kinitaria. The pacy, fast-dribbling top scorer is an idol back home, and has often been described as the face of the Kinitar national team.

Image
11. Emil Pročazka
Position: Right midfield
Team: 1. Maja
Age: 28
Height: 6'1"
He often has trouble beating his man, but he can put a good cross in. Well-rounded, he's not really terrible at anything, but he can't adapt to new positions well.

Image
12. Sebastien Sykora
Position: Centre-back
Team: AFC Damaciu
Age: 23
Height: 6'2"
The towering defender is good at pressurising opponents and is pushing his compatriots close for a place in the starting XI.

Image
13. Marko Utkin
Position: Goalkeeper
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 28
Height: 6'0"
A more reliable keeper than Petran, but it's not unusual to see him flap at a high ball. He won't be challenging for a first-team place given his current form.

Image
14. Dalča Nurmanov
Position: Centre forward
Team: Litora United
Age: 21
Height: 5'8"
He's not going to set the world alight, but he can keep his cool in any situation, which makes him the perfect penalty taker. Definitely one for the future.

Image
15. Stefan Gřul
Position: Centre-back/sweeper
Team: Spartak Rexitova
Age: 32
Height: 5'10"
Fierce and intimidating, he never backs down and will always take on an oncoming attacker. The problem is, he doesn't always do it fairly.

Image
16. Petro Naoumov
Position: Central/defensive midfield
Team: Chyri
Age: 25
Height: 5'7"
Another player who's a potential first-team contender, Naoumov is a pacy midfielder who can get forward when he wants but is just as versatile at the back.

Image
17. Vitya Jelen
Position: Goalkeeper
Team: FC Serenberg
Age: 28
Height: 6'0"
Based on some of his performances, he's a clear candidate for first-team goalkeeper, but he's infamous for being terribly inconsistent.

Image
18. Cyril Novak
Position: Left-back
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 24
Height: 5'11"
He's made a name for himself in this season's Premier Division with some crunching tackles. He does try to be too fancy on the ball, though. He'd have better luck if he just got rid of it rather than attempting tricks.

Image
19. Kuzman Laška
Position: Left midfield
Team: 1. Maja
Age: 27
Height: 5'4"
Not what you'd call a reliable player, but he can step up to the occasion when he needs to. Not the ideal choice for sustained first-team football, but ideal for one-off occasions and big games.

Image
20. Sergiu Vacarestič
Position: Left wing
Team: Mi'ato
Age: 20
Height: 5'6"
Vacarestič has set the Premier Division alight so far with some fantastic technical play. It remains to be seen whether he can keep it up, with some critics suggesting that it may be too early for him to be playing in a major tournament.

Image
21. Karl Pajari
Position: Right midfield
Team: Chyri
Age: 28
Height: 5'9"
A lot of people are baffled as to why he's been included in the team, but he's solid if not outstanding. Tofiq Yurovič will be hoping that his faith in Pajari will be repaid - if he gets a game.

Image
22. Vikenti Andonov
Position: Centre-back
Team: Litora United
Age: 26
Height: 6'1"
No-one's doubting his skill, but he has a reputation for being bad-tempered. Out of nineteen games so far in the Premier Division, he's played twelve and been sent off three times.

Image
23. Lenta Torok
Position: Right-back
Team: AFC Damaciu
Age: 24
Height: 5'7"
"Painfully average" sums him up fairly well. He can deal with opposing strikers, but not those who are too fast or too skilful. Good enough for the reserves, not for the first team.

Image
24. Markus von Broh
Position: Right wing
Team: FC Serenberg
Age: 20
Height: 5'4"
Another young player who's been tipped for great things by fans. The diminutive winger can fool most opponents and can storm down the wing with incredible speed, and it wouldn't be surprising if he got some game time during the tournament.

Image
25. Lupan Mihalcič
Position: Second striker
Team: Mi'ato City
Age: 25
Height: 5'10"
Has something of a personal rivalry with Malpomir for the role up-front partnering Sabčot. Very gifted technically, his finishing sometimes lets him down.

Image
26. Zakhar Mateyev
Position: Central midfield
Team: 1. Maja
Age: 34
Height: 5'9"
He used to be a lot more skilful. The aging midfielder has been included in the squad in order that he can bow out gracefully in a major tournament.

OOC: All characters here are based off the British television series Red Dwarf. More information on the characters mentioned can be found here. Three characters aren't mentioned on that list. All characters appear in episodes from Series I-Back to Earth

Hutt River roster for World Cup 60
AKA: The Smegs

GK – Dave Lister [Series I-Back to Earth]

The last human male alive in the universe due to an accident leaving him in stasis for three million years, and has been a main character throughout the show. He wrongly thinks he is a fantastic guitarist, he is lazy and dirty. His life dream was to buy a small farm on Fiji. He is normally dressed in a leather jacket and hat, and his two best shirts have curry stains down the front of them.

RD - Skutter [Series I, Series III, Series VIII, Back to Earth]

A motorised service and maintenance robot. A 2 feet tall motorized box, with one limb, with three claws on the end. Skutters' behaviour is rather human like, they play cowboys-and-Indians, enjoy watching films and often gives the finger to Rimmer.

CD - Duane Dibbley [Series V, Series VI, Series VIII]

Duane Dibbley is the dorky alter-ego of the Cat, who has a pudding basin haircut and big overbite. Ace Rimmer describes him as "looking so geeky, he couldn't even get into a science fiction convention".

CD – Arnold Rimmer [Series I-Back to Earth]

Lister's bunkmate brought back to life as a hologram to keep Lister sane. He is unpopular with his crew mates, and is often the target of insults and pranks. He wore an "H" symbol on his forehead, which stands for "Hologram", but this has since gone.

CD – Ace Rimmer [Series IV, Series VI, Series VII]

An alter-ego of Arnold Rimmer, who is modest despite being a popular, knowledgeable daredevil hero. Anyone who comes into contact with Ace exclaims "What a guy!" in adoration.

CD – Kristine Kochanski [Series I, Series II, Series VI, Series VII-Back to Earth]

Red Dwarf's Navigation Officer who was the object of Lister's lust before she was killed by a radiation leak. In Series VII, the crew discover an alternate universe where Kochanski survived with Lister as her hologram. She ends up stuck on Starbug and becomes one of the crew.

LD – Olaf Petersen [Series I, mentioned many times]

A Danish catering officer on the Red Dwarf mining vessel, and best friend of Lister. He and Lister's other friends spend their free time getting drunk. Killed with the other crew in the Radiation leak

RM – Mr. Flibble [Series V]

A hand puppet penguin used by Rimmer when he was taken over by 'Hex virus', often 'Very cross.'

CM - Queeg [Series II]

Queeg was a practical joke played by Holly to make him appreciate him being there. Queeg claims that Holly's IQ is not 6,000 but 6 and that Holly gets his information from a children's science book. He uses an oppressive command style and is prone to unprovoked angry outbursts.

LM – Kryten [Series II, Series III-Back to Earth]

Kryten is a neurotic Series 4000 mechanoid robotic servant. He is humanoid, with the exception of the flat cubical face and head. Once the personal servant of three attractive female crew members of the Nova 5, he was found and rescued by Lister who has been teaching Kryten to "break his programming" in order to develop his own personality and develop human character faults (such as the ability to lie).

ST – Talkie Toaster [Series I, Series IV]

An annoying talking toaster, who offers toasted stuff at every possible opportunity. He was destroyed with a 14lb lump hammer by Lister, before being repaired by Kryten.

Substitutes
GK - Holly [Series I-V, VII, VIII, Back to Earth]

Holly is the ships' computer. Holly's user interface appears on the ship's screens as a disembodied human head on a black background, he can also be downloaded onto most television screens, and can roam around on a monitor mounted on a cart. Holly regularly proclaims that he has an IQ of 6000, though there are frequent references to the fact that it is now much lower due to three million years alone, referred to as "computer senility."

CD – Quagaar warrior [Series I (mentioned)]

The Quagaars are an alien species made up by Rimmer, after a garbage pod entered the ship. The warrior is essentially a discarded roast chicken.

LM – Ramses Niblick the Third Kerplunk Kerplunk Oops Where's My Thribble [Series IV (mentioned)]

A former friend of Kryten, who, like Holly, suffers from computer senility. His real name is Gilbert. He popped up in a conversation about computer senility.

CM – Frankenstein [Series I]

Frankenstein was a common housecat, who was sealed in the hold when the radiation leak happened. The Cat calls Frankenstein the Holy Mother.

ST – The Cat [Series I-Back to Earth]

A humanoid descendant of a modern house cat called Frankenstein, which had been Lister's pet cat. The cat society (Felis erectus) left Red Dwarf seeking the promised land, leaving behind those who were too ill or old to travel. The Cat is the son of the cripple and the idiot.

Stadium: Defense Station IV Stadium, 1,500 cap.

The only remaining building left in the former Hutt River, Defense Station IV is a very strong type of aluminum building, which was once used by both countries for military patrols on the channel between the two countries, now disused, the station was inhabited by 16 people/robots/cats rather recently, who decided to build a small brick stadium, complete with roof to keep the winter chill out, to participate in the World Cup. Expect around 800-900 'home' fans to turn up (all of them migrated to Ipeland when the former country fell) and some neutrals, so only bring 100-150 away fans to the stadium. To get there you travel by a small ferry capable of carrying 50 people at a time to a metal staircase, wide enough for one person to go up at a time. If your team wants to come earlier they are welcome to, but expect rough nights, as the night seas batter the side of the small hut type thing, made of metal, where you will be staying. You are welcome to train on the field with the team's permission, and only when the smegs are training. If you are used to warmer climes, bring some warn jumpers or tracksuit tops because it's going to be cold due to the harsh wind. Changing rooms are incredibly basic, just a bench and some pegs to hang stuff up on, and, as with the stadium, as well no toilets, but feel free to being you own bucket. If you are in a wheelchair, help is available and all facilities are 'disability friendly'

ASMV World Cup 60 Roster and Information

You can do anything you like short of killing off players

Squad Name: Sea Dragons

Home Pitch: Stadii se Draggonnii Arcea (Capacity - 200,000)
Image

Colors: Deep Sky Blue & Yellow
Image

Style: Tidal Surge 3-2-2-1-2
(-2 defensive)

*

About the Tidal Surge
The Tidal Surge formation is a hybrid style that makes use of athleticism in key “flex” positions that allow the formation to ebb and flow between styles to take advantage of personnel match-ups and break opportunities. At any point in the match the Tidal Surge can more remind viewers and opponents of a 5-3-3 (most often) or a 3 4-3 (least often) but can usually be found flexing in between those extremes.
Three key positions make this formation work. The offensive midfielder with which everyone is familiar and the two hybrid positions called “UP” backs. These two positions are a direct cross between center midfielders and outside backs. These two positions use athletic ability to move up and down the pitch changing the formation to fit the needs of current needs. Thus at any one moment the formation can resemble anything from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2 to a 5-3-2 creating, quite nearly, the perfect positions for almost any situation.

Other style notes:
“Smashmouth Footy”. That is how the Sea Dragons play when at their best. They prefer the motto “Hit First, Ask Forgiveness Later” and yet they have become adept enough as to remain just on the safe side of the cards so many other squads get. When you play the Sea Dragons two truths are evident - 1: You had better be ready to play tough and 2: you had better be ready for rough play.

Coaching Staff

Manager: Kymykera Wu’eres Age:49
A defensive specialist in her playing days and as an assistant coach, Kymy now steps into the spotlight as Manager of the Sea Dragons. The shoes left by Mace as he says goodbye are rather huge but if anyone can fill them it is Kymy. She is loved by players and fans alike and yet is as unforgiving in training and game management as her predecessor.

Offensive Asst: Seyai At’roluii Age:27
As brilliant a run as the Sea Dragons had during World Cup 59, offensive ability was at the forefront very little. In fact, the squad averaged less than a goal per match in an unbeaten qualification. The scoring did pick up in the Cup proper but remained inconsistent. If this area does not improve, Seyaii could find herself coaching only U19s once more.

Midfield Asst: Nonari Em'ran'oz Age:45
Nonari was the coaching staff find that the Sea Dragons had been searching for. Finally the center of the pitch was not a liability in WC 58 and was brilliant in WC 59. Now it is key that the improvements continue as the Sea Dragons attempt to copy their third place showing.

Defenders Asst: Laia Un’jeru’betcii Age:37
Lie Kymy before her, Laia makes the jump from world class player to fledgling coach. Her fire and tenacity on the pitch will hopefully translate to a continued on the pitch success for her defense. Also listed as a resrve, Laia could find herself playing before this run is over if injuries occur or new talent does not develop quickly.

Goalkeeper Asst Koyinii Os'ina Age:43
Few position coaches are as lucky as Koyinii as Sanlioch as emerged as an All-World keeper and Ban’engo could start for more than three-quarters of the nations present if they were that lucky. Fortunately they are not.

Forwards

RS 12 Jaqinze Irin’arbor F 19 5’5 134
Utica United (Osarius)
Jonasei is now retired as the greatest goal scoring threat in ASMV history. The pressure is high on this former U19 standout to perform well. On paper she stacks up very well. On the pitch - well that remains to be seen.

LS 17 Fekelii Nab’ibakii F 30 5’9 135
Errion Vega FK
Overshadowed by Ariq’Alara, Fekelii now has no choice but to step up and be the leader on the attack. She has tended to disappear in matches as she bogs herself down by thinking too much. It is time for her to let loose and score or she will find herself headed home quickly.

F 52 Banjuru Shr‘tuu M 21 5’11 171
Shalerix FK
The second leading scorer of the VAFK last season, Banjuru is taing advantage of new rules that allow league players to also play for the national side. Should either starter falter, he will be more than ready to have their spot.

Midfielders

OM 10 Kylek Ale'ack M 32 6’1 185
TFC Anymore (Civil Citizenry)
Kylek is a distributor from the offensive midfield who will take a shot if given proper opportunity. Now with experience, Kylek is set to lead the charge forward with his brilliant crosses. If he can improve his on-ball skills in transition he will become a very dangerous player in his own right.

RM 11 .Bareqii Ulu’namo F 18 5’5 120
Carrington FK
Brought up to join the national side following the massive success in the AOCAF, Bareqii is a magician when on ball. Cat-quick and with speed to spare she should add some excitement to the middle of the pitch. Do not worry over her young age, she competed well against the best AO had to offer as well as the best (Save Aguazul and TBI) the world had to offer.

LM 29 Akaok Kapekeoa M 33 6’5 210
Et’ai Zirakul
A native Zirakulii, it has taken more than ten years for Akaok to be accepted by the general Vegai public. Now, however, fans cheer when the grass-skirt-clad, body paintrd warrior takes the pitch. Go ahead and let his tribal look fool you. Akaok relishes the chance to prove himself against those who deem themselves to be superior players.

M 39 Turlin Ironbeard M 138 4’5 155
Stonengarten Sarud
Turlin excels at using his small stature to lose himself among the bigger players and come out cleanly with the ball. Kylek and the strikers should benefit from his ability to play the ball forward with pinpoint precision.

Up-Backs

RUB 13 Osurun Ayami M 21 6’5 175
Darmen City FC (Darmen)
A native of the newly acquired territories of Mara-kai, Osurun is a perfect blend of size and speed for the up-back position. Deceptively fast, the youngster looks awkward at times but has a knack for being in the right place. He will be pushed hard by reserve Xia Cuolai, another Mara-Kaii player with more experience but without his natural skill.

LUB 14 Nelijibii Sam'roth'oq F 28 6’0 150
FK Kelsey
The best true up-back the Sea Dragons have fielded since Kymykera, Nelijibii has the potential to become the best player on the pitch. she dictates the pace of not only the opposition’s attack but her own side’s pace while in transition.

UB 69 Xia Cuolai F 224 5’6 135
Loire-Mourenx
Xia is a solid, if unspectacular, player who knows her limits and excels by staying within them. She feels slighted that Osurun was chosen to join the starting eleven rather than her and will make the best of any chance she gets to prove the staff wrong.

Backs

RB 50 Ombar Stonewall M 161 4’10 140
Stonengarten UH
A hard hitting, hard rocking, Dwarf who loves to show bigger players just how tough they are not, Ombar excels at punishing those who challenge him directly (within the rules of the game, of course). Has taken a cue from Akaok and now wears traditional Dwarven War Facepaint for every match.

CB 27 Karinzui Sa’astre F 17 5’8 145
Utica United (Osarius)
Another of the U19 girls side, Kari should be ready to fill the void left by Laia. She plays with a reckless abandon that leaves opposing attackers running for their lives. If she can learn when to hit, a place where Laia excelled, she will be a star in nno time at all.

LB 54 Ozyxomidruin Lamas’Porii M 28 5’10 156
Charleston Athletic (Osarius)
Another thug on the back line, Ozyx tends to be the stabilizer for the back three - a role he has had to grow into. Now comfortable with calling the assignments of the defense he can focus more on the punishment he loves to dish out.

B 97 Sammala Usikoec M 19 6’4 230
Another grass-skirt clad Ziraulii who looks to make a name for himself, Samm is a very physical back.

RP PERMISSIONS: Everything.

Scratch that, the doctor decided to go full robot now that he has time to make a proper roster.

KITS
Home: Red with black trim and a black horizontal stripe.
Away: Metallic beige with silver trim.

STARTING
F-101 - Stopper
Built on the principle of button football, it's a large, blocky robot that uses its size to restrict the possible angles for scoring. Its CPU is programmed to calculate positioning and little else.

F-104 - Defender
Another large and intimidating robot whose function is to prevent opposition players from reaching the goal, be it from above or below. It works in tandem with F-101 to block shots.

F-102 - Rook
it's built with a sturdy body to tackle and take the ball, performing the same function as F-104 on the right side, but it's also programmed to take the ball forward after stealing it, laying it to the nearest teammate.

F-103 - Tank
From the left side, F-103 has armor plating, potent motors and a powerful foot, being a workhorse in both defence and attack.

F-105 - Enforcer
The rubber padding on the underside of its legs make it perfect for sliding tackles. It's meant as the first line of defence, so it's fast and built to intercept passes and steal the ball.

F-106 - Pivot
A special robot built with a roughly human-like frame, that roams the field freely. It has a wireless connection that allows it to use the programming of nearby robots, depending on where it is in the pitch, thereby assisting in any position.

F-107 - Artillery
This robot is little more than housing for a powerful and precise right leg. Its function is to deliver long balls and crosses with deadly accuracy, and to shoot towards goal whenever there's an opportunity.

F-108 - Fighter
Aerodynamic and light, it uses its rocket boosters to zoom past holes in the opposing defence.

F-109 - Brain
It's the only robot without a specialized AI, instead using a LIPS processor. Combined with basic football rules and tactics in its memory, allows it to be extremely adaptive. The downside is that it has the tendency to hold grudges and rivalries with anyone in similar functions... and an innate hatred of hedgehogs.

F-110 - Trickster
With cameras on all sides of its helmet, leg joints that bend both ways and a full swivel joint in its midsection, F-110 is capable of dribbling and shooting in any direction, even while walking backwards.

F-111 - Killer
A huge robot built with extra weight on the legs in order to make it more difficult to topple. Springs in its legs give it incredible jumping abilities.

The reserves are duplicates of the starting players, only brought in case there's need for repairs.

When referring to this nation, please call it "Eggman Empire", thank you.

"Mobians didn't have any rights to the land and there was no reason for anyone to grant them rights which they had not conceived and were not using... What was it they were fighting for, if they opposed my industrial might? For their wish to continue a primitive existence, their 'right' to keep part of the earth untouched, unused and not even as property. As I brought civilization to this land, I had all the rights to take it."

WESTERN CUBAN NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM
World Cup 60

Image

After another missed opportunity of advancing to the knockout rounds in World Cup 59 the WCSA has gutted the whole team. Ricardo Marquez has been sacked and most of the players cut. Even the national colors of the team have changed. The team has impressed so far during the latest Copa Rushmori, will they help Western Cuba qualify for the first time past the group stage?

Information:
Stadium: Trinidad Municipal Stadium, (30,000)
Formation: 4-3-3
Style Modifier: +1

Coaching Staff:

Manager: Anatoly Markin: Manager of the Havana City Titans for one year, his recent signing is an interesting one by the WCSA. Anatoly is young like most of the team and is 33 years old. He did lead the Titans to a WCSL Championship when they were in the bottom of the league in the previous year, will Anatoly bring Western Cuba to where they have never been?

Assistant Manager: Esteban Reyes: It is no surprise the WCSA picked Reyes to be the assistant manager of the National Team. Reyes was a huge reason why the Havana City Titans won the championship last WCSL season. His experience will be a huge gain for the players on the National Team.

Starting 11:

#1, Goalkeeper, Hector Diaz:

#5, Fullback, Shin Denisov: Young 19 year old fullback that plays for Tumbes FC, even though Shin is only 19 he is the captain of the team and has made Tumbes one of the best defenses in the league. His addition onto the national team has been an exciting move.

#8, Center back, Esteban Sanchez: Esteban is in his prime right now as a 26 year old center back playing for Ovalle United. He is the top defender in their club and is a huge fan favorite.

#3, Center back, Gabriel Ruiz: Gabriel just finished off his rookie season with the Trinidad Knights being selected as an all-star in the Eastern Division. Ruiz has high expectations with the national team and the Copa Rushmori is his first appearance playing for the team.

#11, Fullback, Maximino Martinez: The oldest defender not counting Hector Diaz is only 27 years old. Which is a pretty good age, Max has just finished up his contract with the Havana City Titans after having a spectacular season with them. Now their are rumors that Max is looking towards signing with a team outside of Western Cuba.

#22, Center Midfielder, Alberto Perez The most interesting choice for the WCSA, Perez was kicked off his club team, the Nueva Gerona Bullets, after getting into a fight with the manager, Alberto is currently a free agent but is a great player when he controls his temper. If he finds a way to control it, he might have a big fat juicy contract with a team outside of Western Cuba in the future.

#18, Central Midfielder, Goyo Soto Few players on the former starting 11 roster even managed to keep a spot on the roster. Goyo was a bench player and managed to secure a starting 11 spot for this Copa Rushmori. You have to give credit to him for that, Soto even has the advantage of being a player for the Havana City Titans where the manager of the national team, Markin, coached.

#10, Central Midfielder, Cayo Vargas Not placing Cayo on the Starting 11 for the national team would be a disgrace. Besides Edgardo Mendoza, Vargas has easily been the most influential player on the national team the last several world cups. Cayo isn't the same as he used to be but he can still play decent ball as soon in his recent signing with Darmen City United. Which is rather interesting as this Copa Rushmori is in Darmen.

#15, Winger, Konstantin Yevtushenko Yevtushenko experienced a sophomore slump with Tumbes FC last season struggling throughout the first half and breaking his ankle during the second. Yevtushenko has been on fire in the last few friendlies he has played with the national team, scoring 4 goals in 3 games. Yevtushenko has a lot to prove though as those few friendlies are not going to get him through the Copa Rushmori, his performance will.

#11, Center Forward, Edgardo Mendoza The golden boy himself, Mendoza is having happy days after signing a 6 year contract with Scott City FC, one of the best teams in all of Darmen. How Mendoza performs in this Copa Rushmori will be a reflection for Scott City FC fans to watch as they wait for their season to start. Will Mendoza bring them even more wins?

#21, Winger, Tito Moreno The combination of Moreno and Mendoza is making die-hard Western Cuban soccer fans go nuts. Moreno had a record year in the final year of his contract with the Havana City Titans. Finding out what team Moreno signs with or if he stays with the Titans will bring even more excitement throughout the Copa Rushmori.

Team Cosumar - World Cup 60

Basic Team Information

Nation: The Fiefdom of Cosumar
Nickname: Dragons
Colors: Blue and White

Stadium: Leviathan Arena
Capacity: 99,114
Location: Kaldukosk, Cosumar
Image

Experience: This will be Cosumar's 10th World Cup. Cosumar has qualified and advanced past group stage for the past six World Cups (54-59), including trips to the Round of 16 in World Cups 56-59. Cosumar is currently ranked in the top 16, but reached a peak of 11th during World Cup 57.

Ranking: #16

Team: The roster consists of 20 players, 17 of which are human. The remaining 3 are Vloo, a humanoid species native to Cosumar. This Cosumarite team features a mix of seasoned veterans and athletic young talents.

More About Vloo: Please note that the Vloo, though not human, have no considerable physical advantage over human players. Minor differences are that the Vloo are slightly taller on average and must wear different cleats due to their unique foot structure. Vloo are nearly equal to humans in terms of strength and speed, but have a blue taint to their skin and two small, dull horns on the top of their head. Most Vloo's horns are completely covered by their thick, black hair.

Formation: 4-2-4

The Starting XI

GK Tomi Koskinen (24)
A few years ago, Koskinen emerged as one of the best young stars in Cosumar. At only 20 years old, he dominated Cosumar's collegiate league by allowing only 0.4 goals per game. He has speedy reflexes like you've never seen before, and his skill set flawlessly carries over to professional football. He is poised to make it very difficult for even the best of opponents to score and is set to be the long-term starter for this team after a successful outing in World Cup 59.

DF William Riley (34)
Riley came straight out of high school to play professional football 14 years ago and had no trouble playing with the cream of the crop. A decade later, Riley has emerged as the international face of Cosumarite football. He is without a doubt one of the most skilled defencemen the Fiefdom has ever produced. He is a tad undersized but makes up for it with unmatched speed, vision, and footwork. He has received offers from clubs in multiple international leagues, but has opted to stay in Cosumar. Riley is, at the moment, among the most talented on the despite his age and will serve as Team Captain for another World Cup.

DF Alexander Pearce (27)
Pearce has been traveling with the Cosumar National Team in a variety of positions since age 18. Pearce looks poised to become the next William Riley. He has rapidly matured in the last few years and he is just as skilled as anyone else on the team and has received much hype from Cosumarite media. Being a starter in the last World Cup was a valuable learning experience for Pearce as he looks to prove himself among the world's best. This World Cup will be his opportunity to do just that as he takes up more responsibilities.

DF Endyl Paru (29)
After a surprisingly impressive debut as a reserve in World Cup 58, Paru returned to the Dragons' for World Cup 59 as a starter. Paru is an intimidating figure at nearly 6"4, with some great moves and phenomenal endurance. His trademark yellow headband has become an icon in Cosumar, but he isn't just for show. Paru is one of Atlantian Oceania's premier defencemen and has been for several years.

DF Gundar Umpton (30)
Umpton made his debut as a reserve at age 22, and saw highly increased playing time in World Cup 59. He is a seasoned veteran at defenceman and has carved a niche as a leader on the team, leading by example and putting in the most hours of anyone. Umpton has finally developed into a mature and well-rounded player and is in his prime years. His biggest strenths are his powerful leg and good vision of the field.

MF Abel Scarloff (28)
Scarloff elected to immediately jump to professional soccer after high school and was a reserve on the WC57 team at a young age. He is highly skilled and has received much hype from international and domestic media - due to both his play in the Civil Citizenry domestic league (with Fox Zero) as well as his game-winning goal in the WC57 finals. Scarloff is an excellent midfielder, but has the scoring abilities of a striker and scores many goals.

MF Giovanni Aldinne (25)
Aldinne debuted in the FSF two seasons ago with up-and-coming club Real Azuris, which nearly reached the Globe Cup in large part due to him. Aldinne, like his cousin Francois Renault, is an extremely promising young prospect whom the coaches hope will be a vital part of Cosumar's future. World Cup 60 will be a chance for him to get a taste of the cream of the crop and further hone his skills - since it is first year as a starter. Aldinne is noted for his extraordinary intelligence (maximum score on a Wonderlic equivalent) and speed.

ST Addam Andsman-Savage (28)
Though his last name is peculiar, Andsman-Savage is a well-known around Cosumar as the captain of FC Samotath. Scoring goals is what he does, and he does it well. This will be his second time to don the Cosumarite colors, after his well-publicized success in World Cup 59 despite a supposed feud between him and Manager Farris Crowley. All bad blood has apparently been put aside, as Andsman-Savage rightly earned a spot in the Starting XI again, though he may frequently sacrifice playing time to former starter Corey Simmons. Andsman-Savage ruthlessly attacks the goal and has a very precise aim. The ball goes where he wants. His only downside is lack of speed, which Crisalus, Renault and Simmons have in spades.

ST Luke Crisalus (35)
Luke Crisalus is Cosumarite royalty, little brother of the Baroness of Crisalus Fief. He is also nephew of the Chiefess of Foreign Relations. His high-up government connections are not the reason he is on the team, however, as he was Cosumar's second leading scorer in World Cups 56-58 and third-leading scorer in World Cup 59. He is a crafty player who excels in creating good shots for himself out of nothing. Although he often misses critical passes, his scoring ability is second to none but Andsman-Savage, with whom he makes a feared duo at the striker position. Though he is getting long in the tooth, Crisaulus has proven that he can still play at the highest level and has earned the complete faith of fans and coaches alike - a true fan favorite.

ST Sur Arora (22)
Arora currently plays collegiate football, recently finished his senior season, and has been recognized by scouts as having extreme amounts of star potential. He genuinely loves the game and has been described by coaches as being "one of the hardest workers they ever coached". He is so noticably fluid in his motions, acceleration and ball control that it's almost scary. Arora is already an elite talent and in a few years could be one of the best in the world. As of now though, he is inexperienced, lacks endurance and toughness and is easily intimidated - though he has improved on these flaws since warming the bench in WC59 as a teenager. His raw skill is simply too great to keep him off the field any longer. He has big shoes to fill - this will be the team's second World Cup without all-time leading scorer Rikki Varshney.

ST Francois Renault (26)
Renault elected to immediately jump to professional football after finishing high school, seven years ago. He watched from the bench as a reserve in WC58, but has developed and matured as a player since then. Renault, like his cousin Giovanni Aldinne, has become an important piece of Cosumar's puzzle. The coaches hope he will be a vital part of Cosumar's WC60 campaign and future success. World Cup 60 will be a chance for him to get a better taste of the cream of the crop and further hone his skills as a starter.

The Reserves

GK Blinne Va'Tuaras (29)
Va'Tuaras is one of Cosumar's most iconic goalkeepers: his enormous frame, trademark mohawk hairstyle and wild antics eleciting his fan favorite status. But underneath the flamboyance, Va'Taurus is a fine goalkeeper and has led Klyde FC to multiple Globe Cups. He has great instincts and is a tested backup in the event that young and inexperienced (albeit more talented) Koskinen breaks down. He is one of three Vloo members on the team.

DF Phillip O'Hair (28)
"Red-Head O'Hair", as he's known in Cosumar, has been a consistent defender in the FSF for a few years now and has been selected to the National Team for the second time. He lacks elite speed and agility, but has fantastic ball-handling skills, a catapult for a leg, and rarely makes mistakes. He will be a reliable backup useful when a pair of fresh legs are needed.

DF Tae Woo Miyori (23)
Miyori is another young star with a bright future in Cosumarite football. His best attribute is his speed. Miyori is currently the fastest player on the team. Riley has taken Miyori under his wing. Miyori will not play much, but this Cup will be a valuable learning experience for him. Riley and Umpton aren't getting any younger and Miyori will be a fitting replacement in a few years.

DF Kirum Mortonsson (19)
Young and dashing Mortonsson recently completed his first professional FSF season with the Zakhoro Aces. The the season was a disappointment for the club, Mortonsson was the sole trace of hope. His outstanding debut season earned him a big fat paycheck to sign with Ramusok United - and a spot on the National Team. Though his biggest fans are often teenage girls, he is supremely athletic and finds ways to make big plays when the team needs it the most. He can be hotheaded at times and make poor decisions.

MF Leland Burke (34)
Burke has been one of Cosumar's top midfielders for a long time. Although he has won many FSF titles with Mallox, playing on the National Team has always been a goal of his. Though nearing the end of his career, Burke will serve as a reserve in WC 60. Burke is incredibly experienced and always makes correct decisions, even under pressure. He will be a fantastic mentor to the team's young midfielders and provide that tough edge the Dragons need at the position. He may be 34, but he plays like he's 18.

MF Henry Kueler (32)
Henry Kueler is the little brother of Geoff Kueler, a hall-of-fame gaelic football player. Like his elder brother, Henry is gifted athletically. He has been an all-star midfielder in the FSF for three years running as a member of the successful OAS Royal FC. This is his third World Cup, but first as a Reserve. Though his playing time will diminish significantly, he should still be a valuable asset due to his excellent passing and ball handling.

ST Corey Simmons (30)
This will be Simmons' third World Cup (after an impressive World Cup 57 as a reserve). He has been Kaldukosk FC's leading scorer for 6 seasons and has quickly become one of the most feared strikers on the Cosumarite squad. He has been criticized for being a detriment to the team's locker room atmosphere at times, but his lightning-quick speed and brute force are elite. In a shocking decision, he was demoted to a reserve position for this World Cup to make room for rising star Sur Arora, despite excallent performances in the previous two World Cups and being the second-leading scorer in WC59. He will play frequently though and can still be a dangerous weapon coming off the bench.

ST Thomas Teverridge (27)
Teverridge is a the leading goal scorer for the FSF's Samaj FC and has long been a vastly underrated player in Cosumar due to his tenure with a relatively obscure club in a remote area of Cosumar. However, Teverridge has quietly been one of the most productive players in the upper flight of the FSF and is finally beginning to reap the rewards of his hard work, including finally earning a spot on the National Team after being denied twice. Teverridge loves to snake his way through opposing defenses and is a sly player, with a knack for breaking through creases and getting 1 on 1 shots in a heartbeat. He is also a corner kick specialist.

ST Ejegefe Na'Safeh (21)
Ejegefe Na'Safeh (pronounced: Eh-hey-heff-eh, Nah-Soff-eh) is a young Vloo football phenomenon from the remote Na'Malsile Isles of Cosumar. Na'Safeh is inconsistent and erratic, at times magnificent and at times sloppy. He will not play much in this World Cup, but Coaches have an eye on him as a potential successor for aging Luke Crisalus.

Coaching Staff and Team Captains

Manager: Farris Crowley

After a phenomenal debut as Manager in World Cup 54, and an even more impressive efforts in World Cups 56-59, Farris Crowley will return to lead the Dragons towards greatness in World Cup 60. Crowley was a somewhat successful player in Cosumar's domestic league many years ago and has since taken to coaching. His goal is absolute: win a World Cup. He is currently 55 years of age and has a very stoic personality most of the time.

Assistant Manager: Truda Jotunnoj

This is Jotunnoj's first World Cup as Assistant Manager, replacing Bernard Hotheryo, who took the position for World Cups 58 and 59. Jpttunoj recently coached for Cosumar in the 35th AOCAF. Hotheryo has been a successful Manager for Cosumarite Sekundar Ligan club Treftadaethfor 12 years. Hotheryo is 42 years old.

Team Captain: William Riley
Defenders' Captain: William Riley
Midfielders' Captain: Abel Scarloff
Forwards' Captain: Luke Crisalus

Kit

Image

Cosumar's uniforms for World Cup 60, made for the team by Barrengeka Kits of Astograth. The uniform has been applauded by fans and the media, featuring Cosumar's national colors: silver and navy blue as well as the Cosumarite Azure Dragon, the symbol of Cosumar. The keeper's uniform is gold and green, the royal family's colors. They are the same kits the team used in World Cups 56-59.

Gordonopian National Team
World Cup 60

Starting Eleven

Formation
4-3-1-2

--------------------Tobias-------Odell------------------------
---------------------------Dietrich----------------------------
-----------Still-------------Roger------------Franz-----------
-------Steiner-------Bates------Lawson------Watson-------
---------------------------Strauss------------------------------

Ludwig Strauss - Captain
The only player on the team with international experience, Ludwig Strauss is regarded as the greatest Gordonopian goalie in history. A young member of Gordonopia's only previous World Cup team, before the War of Restoration, Strauss holds to his name the only three World Cup clean sheets, along with countless domestic awards. Despite his age, the 'Great Wall of Deska' doesn't appear to have many cracks. A disappointing semi-final loss in the most recent Gordonopia Cup brought some critics to question Strauss' age and big-game abilities, but his solid performance throughout the season that included a Golden Boot and as a convincing demonstration in the third place match earned him the starting spot.
GK - 37 - Club: FC Deska, United Gordonopia - 25 Caps - 0 Goals

Roger Steiner
Like his FC Deska teammate, Ludwig Strauss, Roger Steiner is considered one of the strongest Gordonopian players at his position. Rather than keeping the goal, however, Steiner anchors a defensive line that some consider to be the best in the Gordonopian Premier League. Known for his ability to break up plays through both technical skill and physicality, he is a natural pick for the back line that is likely to see a fair amount of action.
LB - 26 - Club: FC Deska, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

John Bates
A rising star in Gordonopian defenses, John Bates is one of the youngest starting players on the national team. Acquired just before the inaugural GPL season by his native Kjeldor Knights, Bates started out as a reserve player until a third game injury forced him to join the team's starting lineup. Once there, he soared, becoming an essential part of a defense which tied for third-best in goals against in the regular season, and helped propel the Knights to a semifinal finish in the Gordonopia Cup.
CB - 22 - Club: Kjeldor Knights, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Hugh Lawson
A stellar centre back, Hugh Lawson's only weakness is his tendency to get too physical. He lead the league in yellow cards in the 2012 GPL season with eleven, earning two ejections and a number of fines. Nevertheless, his sheer athleticism and willingness to fight for the ball won him a spot on the starting lineup, despite the objections of several league officials.
CB - 24 - Club: Fusba United, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Jay Watson
One of the few bright spots in a disappointing 11th placed Union Holiday squad, Jay Watson is known for his consistency of top-level skill, as well as his balanced head, which will hopefully offset some of the more aggressive players on the squad. Though he has played top-level Gordonopian football since his teens, he still seems to be on the rise, with not a single season falling short of his previous performances. This has led to some speculation that he will be picked up by a more successful club, and depending on his performance in the World Cup, his contract pull a hefty sum.
RB - 29 - Club: Union Holiday, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Howard Still
One of the first wave of Gordonopian internationals, Howard Still was signed to a three year contract with Capivara Group club Chapeleta de Desportos following an excellent season in the GPL with the Kjeldor Knights. Although Chapeleta finished a disappointing 13th in the league, following a pair of back to back wins in years prior, Still managed to show a solid performance, if not a team-leading one. His international experience, though, and prowess at home earned him a spot on the starting lineup.
LDM - 29 - Club: Chapeleta de Desportos, Capivara Group - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Davis Roger
A powerful, young defensive midfielder, Davis Roger earned his spot on the national team through his superb stamina and technical skills. His largest achievement is his skill at intercepting passes, a stat which he topped the league in. This has allowed him to become one of the deadliest players to crosses and passing-based offenses, and it is hoped that he will put this to good use in the World Cup.
CDM - 20 - Club: Reichsburg FC, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Lane Franz
The third FC Deska player on the starting lineup, Lane Franz is viewed domestically as the third point, along with his fellow national teammates, in a deadly triangle that has made Deska's defense the strongest in Gordonopia. Working as a highly efficient screen, Franz has managed to end shut down breakaways before they even begin. Supported by the rest of the national teams' defense, and backed up by both Steiner and Strauss, Franz completes a defense that is significantly stronger than the one Gordonopia fielded at its previous World Cup.
RDM - 25 - Club: FC Deska, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Norm Bates
In addition to his prowess as a playmaker, Norm Bates has a reputation as being one of the GPL's biggest celebrities. One of the few remaining West Tolten players from when the City of Steel last won the Gordonopia Cup before the War of Restoration, Bates' experience and talent have given him a number of endorsement contracts, while his looks and off-field stardom have brought him the reputation of being a notorious womanizer. Stories abound in Gordonopian magazines and on the Gordonopian intranet of Bates' 'conquests' which range from true scandals, such as a night with the daughter of the Lord-Mayor of Tolten following West's victory in the semifinals of the most recent Gordonopia Cup, to ridiculous fabrications such as an intranet claim that the midfielder spent a full night with the females of the Imperial Family. Despite all this, Bates' talent on the field was too good to ignore, and he earned a well-deserved spot on the national team.
AM - 31 - Club: West Tolten, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Jere Tobias - Vice-Captain
Viewed as the best forward playing in Gordonopia, Jere Tobias is known for prodigious numbers at both goals and assists. Despite falling four goals short of Jonathon Odell's league-topping 24 nets, Tobias' GPL-leading 14 assists helped earn him the Golden Boot, as voted by notable sportswriters, head coaches, and league officials. Following the Gordonopia Cup, where he led Kaje Football to victory and added four additional goals, Tobias signed with the current champions of Erathore's Seria-A: Juvillian Martinax. With his ability to both score, and recognize when someone else has a better chance, Tobias has a lot to back up his position on the team, and his designation as vice-captain.
ST - 23 - Club: Juvillian Martinax, Erathore - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Jonathon Odell
The other top striker in the GPL to go international following the inaugural season, Jonathon Odell has numerous merits that range from his excellent goal-scoring ability, to his level head. Not only did his 24 goals lead the GPL, he gained a well-deserved reputation as a fair-player. Odell was the only player on Gordonopia FC's starting eleven to escape the season without a yellow card, and his total number of fouls throughout the season was in the single digits. Working in tandem with Jere Tobias, Odell creates a powerful offense that could potentially bring in a lot of goals.
ST - 26 - Club: Montbenoit, Saugeais - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

Reserves
Derrick Schmidt - GK - 31 - Club: Cosmopolitan, Cotdelapoms- 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Erich Langerhans - GK - 20 - Club: FC Gordonopia City, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Fritz Cole - Back - 22 - Club: Willingham AC, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Roy Jeffries - Back - 19 - Club: Kaje Football, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Michael Stahl - Back - 25 - Club: FC Deska, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Ferron Hans-Beck - DM - 21 - Club: Gordonopia FC, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Vonn Mjan - DM - 30 - Club: Gordonopia FC, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Marc Dunning - DM - 26 - Club: Kaje Football, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Hugh Burch - AM - 24 - Club: Kaje Football, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Carl Bonhoffer - ST - 33 - Club: Teva FC, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Martin Mallorn - ST - 19 - Club: FC Deska, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals
Dominique Mann - ST - 20 - Club: Plains, United Gordonopia - 0 Caps - 0 Goals

THE FIRST-EVER LAVONIAN ISLANDS WORLD CUP SOCCER TEAM ROSTER
In World Cup 60, many new nations will come and join in this festival of sports. One of these nations is Lavonian Islands. This nation has just established a domestic soccer league in its borders, and is preparred to send a team of National All-Stars to participate. The team will be as follows, and will go down as the first international team in any sport to leave the Islands to compete. The team plays a style with 4 d-men, 3 midfields, 4 forwards, and 5 subs. The style modifier for this team is an even 0, as even the forwards play their hardest defense to protect from goals.

[align=] GOALKEEPERS
Nikita Nasavik, G. -Not afraid to challenge shooters who come into his domain.
Jakant Lakinov, G -Better with high shots than low, but still a great goalie

DEFENDERS
Devik Kastreiner, D -Big, strong, ball-moving d-man.
Alberto Rostiadays, D -Not afraid to move the ball or shoot in good position
Hujont Yellemost, D -Will challenge shooters, big, strong, far kick is advantage
Alont de Rochevalle, D -Will pass before carrying the ball

MIDFIELDERS
Kagstov Kobertin, MDF- Big figure, protects ball well
Andre Olouptois, MDF -Smaller size, works well to get ball away
Pillats Pilont, MDF - Plays a defesnive style that helps the team very well

FORWARDS
Mikeal Lovertston, F -Great shot, but better at defense than offensive attack.
Andrei Palchov, F -Best player on this team, great all-around.
Sergei Palchov, F -Andrei's brother, shares his talent level. These 2 are best Islands players ever.
Ulrich Herikstof, F -Good, solid offensivley, certainly not a defensive player.
Hiidricht Olikstof, F -Solid both ways, not very heavy shot.

SUBSTITUTES
Liilik Kant, D -Playmaking defender, passes ball way to early, leads to turnovers
Pavol Ultnov, MDF -Often joins forwards on rush, can't get back into defensive zone as quick as others.
Yellif Garkitov, F -Not the best offensivly, can be used in defensive situations
Olafv Huilist, D -Big kick on back end is main advantage
Georgy Julimus, F -Runs around on defense, and does not play team style. Alright on attack

RP INFORMATION
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers Y
Godmod scoring events N
RP injuries to my players Y (Not severe, like knocked out of tournament. Reasonable, please)
Godmod injuries to my players N
Hand out yellow cards to my players Y (Only 1)
Hand out red cards to my players N
Godmod other events Y

And with that, the Lavonian Islands group begins to prepare for World Cup 60.

Co-Managers- Luke Thompson and Nathan Gardiner:

Luke Thompson was Tom Lucan’s assistant during the disastrous World Cup 59 qualifying campaign, where the Eagles failed to win a single game. The two have teamed up to try and bring success and qualification to Licentiapacisterra.

Home Matches on MDs 8-14  Harloop National (150,00)

East Kilbride Arena

Home to high-mid table ek888 the East Kilbride Arena really is a awesome stadium. The teams first home match will mark the first time the national team has played a home game away from Harloop National. The second city however needs some sporting success to cheer about and HOFA think that this is the way to do it.

Harloop National

The home of HOFA and homelands our football the national is the best we have to offer. No club teams play here so the grass will be green and not mud. After the games in East Kilbride the team with return here for the final match days. Capital clubs may not be the best but the national team brings a good sport back here.
