Oh, I fully agree.
Like many Starblaydis, his finest personal achievement came via the sort of behind the scenes supporting role his countrymen have always been born to play.
Y'know. Just sayin.

Wolfmanne to play no.1 Polar Islandstates at the World Indoor Soccer Championships
by Peter Lord
After two defeats and one victory, along with a free win yesterday after a team left, which is listed as 1-0 win, the Woflmanni futsal team is to play giant Polar Islandstates, a team with the same rank, however despite this is currently 1st in Group C.
The Polar Islandstates finished with a similar result as Wolfmanne at the last World Indoor Soccer Championships, therefore giving it joint 12th with the Wolfmanne team. However an excellent manager has been able to guide them towards their 1st place in Group C, while Wolfmanne has been left for the dogs to scrape off the remains. Critics are citing caretaker manager John Spencer, although it is a fact that many quality players from last year are now playing in the World Cup. This is a reflection upon Wolfmanne's performance at the World Cup, however people are more ok with that, since Wolfmanne is a new team to the World Cup and is unranked,
Meanwhile John Spencer has made an official statement over his post as caretaker manager. During a WSPN interview, he told commentator Mark Laurence:Due to the poor results of the team, which I don't believe it's my fault but rather that we don't have the squad from last year, I would like to announce that untIl the Futsal Board of Wolfmanne and the Wolfmanen Football Association finds a suitible replacement, I shall continue to manage the squad. Once they do find that replacement, I'll step down as I have promised and hand over my responsibilities to the new manager without question.
A survey of 100 anonymous people, 25 of which were journalists and the rest were fans, revealed that 72% believed that John Spencer had to go, while the rest believed that he should be given more of a chance. Out of those 72 people, 39 wanted Rouzen as manager, 22 someone else and 11 wanted current Assistant manager Ivan Burke as manager. However a spokesperson representing both the WFA and the FBW have responded and have announced that:Spencer is a caretaker manager and shall take management responsibilities until we find a suitable replacement. What we can confirm is that he'll lead the team for the rest of the WISC 2, since we would find it impractical to replace him and it will just make the team worse than it is right now.
Amazingly during Rouzen's run at the World Indoor Soccer Championships, some people believed that Rouzen should be replaced by Spencer, however as the Group stages concluded, that idea died down as Wolfmanne beat several of the larger teams.
Tournament predictions
For the rest of the tournament, I've compiled a series of predictions for our Group. Darmen and the Polar Islandstates are set to qualify but who will take the 3rd and 4th spots and go along with them (winners are in bold):
MD 6
Wolfmanne v Polar Islandstates
Darmen (free win)
Carasatoga v Salchar
Kazzoria v Kernansquillec
MD 7
Darmen v Wolfmanne (I hate to say this but it seems that Darmen is set to beat us)
Salchar (free win)
Kernansquillec v Carasatoga
Beaverriver v Kazzoria
MD 8
Carasatoga v Beaverriver
Kazzoria (free win)
Wolfmanne v Salchar
Polar Islandstates v Darmen
MD 9
Salchar v Polar Islandstates
Kernansquillec v Wolfmanne
Beaverriver (free win)
Kazzoria v Carasatoga
Final tablesGroup C
Pld W L
1 Polar Islandstates 8 8 0
2 Darmen 8 6 2
3 Kazzoria 8 5 3
3 Beaverriver 8 5 3
5 Carasatoga 8 4 4
5 Wolfmanne 8 4 4
7 Kernansquillec 8 2 4
8 Salchar 8 1 7
Under these predictions, Polar Islandstates qualify winning 8 matches, Darmen winning 6 and losing 2, Kazzoria winning 5 and losing 3 and Beaverriver winning 5 and losing 3, with the 3rd and 4th being decided by tiebreakers. Carastoga and Wolfmanne will win 4 matches but also loose 4, with tiebreakers used to decide who gets 5th and 6th. Kernansquillec would be seventh and Salchar 8th. In order for Wolfmanne to qualify, they would have to beat Darmen or Polar Islandstates or would have to have to hope that Kazzoria or Beaverriver loose a match so that it could be decided by tiebreakers.
