I'm with Churchma, "screw you Margaret!" ;)

It seems like they don't like us NSCF teams much!

I'm not doing so bad! *snip* If tough to lose so much, but in the future it will be your 15 year, and all the powerhouses would forget about it.Or the stay.I haven't been here long enough to know.

I wasn't doing too bad either until my squad got beat up in that benches clearing riot against Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuk. Yesterday's 1-7 debacle was ugly, but not unexpected. I just want to put in a respectable showing against the top teams in my group and make them sweat a bit.

As noted in the scores thread tomorrows cut off will be slightly later than they've been. Maybe by an hour or so, possibly by two, best to go by one hour to be safe for getting RPs in before the cutoff though.

Lucky you. I post a long RP and VANTELIRA, a team which didn't post their roster, won 1-0. My most recent match was against Astrograph and that was a 2-2 draw. It seems I've either drawn or lost my matches, with no wins so far.

The only one Margaret got me was when I tied Oakow and Norkwyin.Everything else I've upset teams and I've lost to a team ranked over 200 spots higher, and beat over 200 spots higher. So,my season's gone pretty good so far.

Bears Armed in world cup 44.

Actually it was Gordon Bay City, right from unranked (without a BoF), a cup or two after that...

(And don't forget that Peisandros -- who were runners-up to us in the BoF -- also made it through on their first attempt in WC44.)

And even got to the Second Round, where they only lost 1-0 to the eventual (ranked 6th at the time) champions. That was a close one.

Alas, yes... although the fact that they haven't posted a single RP so far during this Cup, or even a roster, probably hasn't helped them either...

And even got to the Second Round,

A feat which they then repeated several times more, quite a while before the Bears first managed to do the same...

Update

Yes, I'm using the "upset stomachs abroad" excuse for a poor result again... But it has been at least three or four Cups since the last time, I'm fairly sure, and that's just the most plausible explanation for the score from the Belles' latest game that I could come up with in the time available...
Well, other than maybeso blaming Margaret, but somebody else is already doing that during this Cup anyway.

I can't believe how much Lady Luck hates me at the moment. I've RPed all but one match day and ranked 92nd I would have thought I would have won a couple of games. 5 games later and I'm at 3 draws and 2 defeats. I hate this game sometimes. (but I'm in the final in the Rugby where I didn't even post a team roster LOL)

Well, I hate to do this, because I really like the Grilled Brie for 3 concept, but I'm going to have to throw in the towel for qualifying. Having just lost to Arch, I can't see myself qualifying even if I RP my ass off for the rest of qualifying, and I can't justify putting in the effort when A: there are so many other teams deserving of a qualification in Group 7 and B: I really need to devote some time to other NS stuff like the Olympic signups and scorinating my domestic league. I'd rather not RP at all than just churn out crappy RPs in a futile quest for qualification. I'll try and pick things back up for the CoH.

Apologies to anyone who had hoped to see their characters in my RPs. Arch, I will still try to throw a Boris the Blind RP together for our return leg match. Cotdelapoms, I will still try to get Per-Olivier Johansson-Bakvis on GBf3 either by the end of qualifying or later on in the Cup of Harmony.

Which, by the way, I will win!

Semi-finalist on the DBC and BoF, and now I'm closer to qualitying for the world cup than I ever was with Qlumez. Maybe I made the right choice, or maybe Margaret just really hates nations whose name starts with Q...
When referring to this nation, please call it "Eggman Empire", thank you.

I'm genuinely sorry you feel that way.

I enjoy your RPs, and always encourage people to RP for the sake of enjoying RP - not as an aid to qualification.

RPing solely to benefit qualification chances is a rapid path to disappointment and disillusion.

And you're only four points behind both myself and Polar Islandstates anyway; one of the top two spots is still well within reach.

I enjoy your RPs, and always encourage people to RP for the sake of enjoying RP - not as an aid to qualification.

RPing solely to benefit qualification chances is a rapid path to disappointment and disillusion.

I probably phrased my words wrong and sounded too cynical; I never RP solely in pursuit of results. It's really more a matter of lack of time than it is lack of passion. Just have to prioritize. In a certain sense, falling behind in this group is saving me from missing the Olympics, which I was thinking about not signing up for because I didn't think I'd have time.

Arch, both you and Polar Islandstates RP spectacularly well just about every day, and I've already lost to both of you. I will bet you three seasons' worth of the naming rights to all of the clubs in my domestic league that I will not qualify for World Cup 56. For reelz.

I'll tell you have a better chance than me, considering that I'm unranked and I'm something like 7th right now. For some reason when i didn't RP last night I win my match 3-1 against team in the top 100. Lolwut?
