I support this idea. It would help bring in more teams to the tournament, but at the same time you'd still have the same 8 team competition running along side the World Cup, with the qualifying stage set before the Cup begins. Say, start qualifying between the BoF and the WC proper.

No, no, thats not what I meant. I mean, to be in the MSMT, is there a level of achievement a team has to be reached. I wouldnt mind this idea though.

The four nations considered anchor nations: Sarzonia, Starblaydia, Delaclava and Krytenia. Each nation hosts a subregional.

Sorry to be a noob, but by sub-regional you mean like AOCAF and the Copa Rushmori? Or something completely different?

Something different. MSMT regions have nothing to do with NS regions.

In some years there have been 12 or 16 teams, but eight fit the traditional World Cup scheduling best.

The sign-ups for the MSMT are first come first served (and have been filled for the current edition), and the competition is arranged to take place during the friendly slots of World Cup Qualifying.

All a 'sub-region' means is that it's the city in which a particular set of matches take place. For instance matches in the 'Jhanna Regional' take place in Starblaydia's captial city of Jhanna. I'm fairly sure Sarz uses Nicksia, while Kry probably uses Emberton (I think) and.... I have no idea what any of Del's cities are called.

Correct on all counts. Delaclava uses Catherina, which is his capital.

Of the four, only Nicksia is not its nation's capital IIRC.

The reactions that RP has got have been very kind, thank you. I'm glad it has entertained so many, seriously makes the effort worthwhile.

Well at least you didn't write a very long and good RP, only to lose the whole thing when you clicked on preview, and then had to write up a shorter, worse version of the original. I've lost track of the numberous RP that I've "lost" on here.
