That was about the most unhelpful comment you could have possibly made.

Need I remind you how many people have said you ran the worst World Cup in history? Not that I agree with the sentiment; just pointing out to you how someone could perceive comments such as yours to be unnecessarily inflammatory.

In light of our recent cataclysm, your timing im challenging Sel Appa's hosting abilities in the way you just did could not have been worse.

It's the truth. When I hosted WC41 one of the controversies was over Sel Appa's sudden return after ceasing to exist during the group stage and how his nation would be treated wrt rankings. Not to mention he once had his fans riot in my main stadium without my permission and despite this RPed damage to my stadium. That's not something one forgets easily.

Need I remind you how many people have said you ran the worst World Cup in history?

Probably only TnUI. Certainly wasn't my fault that my WC22 cohost just up and disappeared after two matchdays.

I don't give a flying fuck whether it's the truth or not. It's unhelpful full stop.

Considering all the hell we've been through the past couple of days, how about doing us all a favour and dropping it?

Whether or not LIventia's comment was unhelpful, I'd hardly consider getting melodramatic about it helpful either tbh.

Well, certain reservations aside, my cohost or mentoring would provide a net boost to Toiletdonias bid, as it stands.

There is a very narrow rope upon which this thread sits and too many knives being drawn for it to remain intact too much longer. I shan't bother saying "in one piece" because it seems to be the nature of this thread that someone would call me out on it and say a rope is actually made up of many pieces woven together, or some other smart-alec comment.

This is a discussion thread. If you aren't prepared to discuss the World Cup, current/past/present and would much rather bicker and provoke with malicious intent, may I kindly ask, for the sanctity of the sanity some of us have left, take it elsewhere. Why? Because I have a real concern that eventually, someone, somewhere, will be tired of dealing with this thread and put a perma-ban on any new WCDTs.

Don't go spoiling a game for the rest of us.

Clearly, I have no right to say what I believe here without being told — almost always by the same one person, Sarzonia — to fuck off, even when it was nowhere close to being as inflammatory as the post telling me to shut up. I contemplated reporting it to Moderation and did for a short time, but this isn't worth my time. Sarzonia, I'd encourage you to take a long hard look in the mirror, no one made you king more than anyone has made me king. We are allowed to speak our minds, last I checked, and I did so in a pretty fair manner. No expletives, just a simple statement of what I believe to be fact. I certainly don't deserve your response, which as Sorth has pointed out was clearly no more helpful than my original statement could ever have been.

I'd appreciate it if you chose not to respond to my posts which you find you don't like in the future, rather than asking me to fuck off.

End of discussion, at least between you and me. As far as I'm concerned, a discussion on Sel Appa's abilities is totally acceptable considering this is the WCDT and he's voicing his desire to cohost a WCC tournament.

I'm not sure what happened there, not that that was in my region. It would appear that this match was a loss by Western Cuba, thus the table is correct. Why the result says Eastfield Lodge I don't know, my guess is that QP typed out the result with the incorrect name and copied the table.

As QP isn't online right now (he seems to have been busy recently), I can't discuss it with him, but this is what I'd go by. A simple copying error, with EL as the table suggests with no games played.

I just wish I'd noticed the mistake last night. :?

That is in fact what happened. I have to apologise, I've had a friend visiting all week and have been really busy (he's super demanding and going through a bad patch at home at the moment), I'll make the amendments now.

Again, sorry for dropping the ball and I'll make the adjustments right away.

Okay at the minute we are considering bidding with Sel Appa. But first we would like to hear is the community supports it.

I like your hutz-puh Tolietdonia but the one tournament I did with you: Tolietdonia International - you had such varying and whimsical RP cut-offs that unless I see a better effort for standardized RP cut-offs in the Senior Cup...than no, I wouldn't support you (not like I have a vote) and would withdrawal from WC52.

I don't think that's necessary, as I don't think they're bidding for the WC.
