Look's like I'm on course to secure 3rd which will be satisfactory; that said, it's not impossible for me to get 2nd.

Well seeing as the Royals and Wizards and Browns all have won titles in the past 60 years.. I think mine are a bit more appropriate.

This is gonna be super, super close...Antoletia is one point ahead of me (with 19) and we both play pretty easy teams tomorrow.

I'll qualify for my first WC if he ties or loses to Ang Grung (which is very, very improbable) and I beat Merfurian by a large margin. The goal difference is also so close too, argh. Oh well, if I don't qualify, I can say I finished third, which is much better than the last round (fourth, I believe.) Just one step short, which is o.k. (for now.)

I think this is the closest I've been to qualifying in 10 WC or so.

I'm not sure what's more depressing, that it's still not that close or that it's been longer than that since I've qualified.

Apologies for my ignorance, but, when is the next major international football event scheduled to be, and other than physically signing-up are there any other requirements for qualification?

Apologies for my ignorance, but, when is the next major international football event scheduled to be, and other than physically signing-up are there any other requirements for qualification?

The sign-up for World Cup 60 should be started soon and should start some-time May. The Baptism of Fire, which you'd likely be eligible for, which precedes the World Cup should start about a week or two before the Cup itself starts.

Believe me, I will worry. Even if the first match went almost exactly the way I wanted it to.
