Okay, with confirmation from Aguazul that the BoF shall conclude early Friday morning/Thursday night (dependent on your timezone), and that updated KPB ranks shall follow shortly thereafter, consider this a post about the timings of the World Cup Qualifying.

The IC draw for the WCQs will be made on irc, on the #nssport channel, early Saturday morning/Friday night, at a time yet to be determined.

The first matchday, MD1, of your WC59 cycle will therefore come on early Wednesday morning/Tuesday night, specific cutoff times for both hosts yet to be determined.

Therefore if you are arranging any pre-qualifying friendlies amongst yourself (timely plug for this thread if so), then early Tuesday morning/Monday night would be the logical time for them.

Expect to see an RP thread up in the next day or so.

The 59th World Cup is Less than a week away.

There are 140 Nations signed up and only 24 rosters submitted. Get your rosters posted by the end of the weekend!

There's really no point in releasing them until after the BoF, as new rankings aren't really needed for any tournaments until qualifiers begin.

I have reviewed the entries for the World Cup. If you are not on the list below you are not registered!

This is 142 Nations. This means 140 participants in qualifying + 2 hosts in a 20 Groups of 7 format.

3 of the nations above have ceased to exist. However, the next logical format would require 4 nations to be removed (17 groups of 8 with 2n'ds and some thirds in playoff). So unless another nation ceases over the weekend (Only Michael VI's puppet is really close) or someone withdraws we won't get to that number, so we will have 2 or 4 CTE'd nations competing with us in WC59! As always, if they make in a qualifying position, they will not advanced. If we move forward with the 140 team format One of the CTE'd nations will be replaced by the one and only nation that signed up on the stand by list for tomorrows draw.

I have my seven pots, I have my twenty groups, I have a 140-strong mob of you lot.

I will be making a live IC draw on the #nssport channel on the Esper webirc at MIDNIGHT GMT on what for me is technically SATURDAY MORNING. So, for anyone in the US that'll be late Friday night sometime depending on which time zone you are. For reference, it is currently 4.36am GMT, so in a little less than nineteen and a half hours, the fun begins.

Those intrigued as to why it wasn't me carrying out the draw will be pleased to note that I have a full contingency plan should my internet pop out again like it did last night. So, thanks to Vilita for stepping in, and hopefully in future he shouldn't need to.

I imagine that was probably the case for 90% of us participants, the draw will go up in the roster thread when Vilita is ready, shouldn't be long!
