Have to admit, this one made me look twice, but it looks legit to me.
If I was to withdraw Ossidiacqua and Polar Islandstates and enter both AyP and Djocoranga then is there a rule saying I couldn't? I'm not sure there is.

As far as I can see, the puppet rules refer to a user that has previously entered being allowed to enter two nations the next time around, the word "puppet" is a bit misleading in that respect, really.

And Arch doesn't even come close to bending any rules. THE operates out from an account named something different, but there are plenty of nations that do that. Todd McCloud... The Fanboyists... I almost did it with Ossidiacqua/Oasirica.

Ah okay, forgive my ignorance. I thought that The Holy Empire was entirely separate to AIF.

No.

While we seem to have sorted this out, for clarity...

The formal full name of the nation is "The Holy Empire of Alasdair I Frosticus", shorthand 'The Holy Empire', with 'Alasdair I Frosticus' the name of the ruling basileus (ie, emperor).

As the Constitution is currently written, the move by Falconfar is completely legitimate.

To put this another way, I left the WC in the early 50's. However, that does not stop me from returning this cup and, if I so wanted, from entering Liventia (which for a long time was officially my puppet of Ad’ihan) in addition to a new puppet (which I also haven't). I see it the same way for Falconfar — there's nothing to suggest that he can't say Falconfar has 'left' the WC, but as he's previously participated, he's entitled a puppet enty.

However, I would suggest it goes against the spirit of things to have two nations in the same BoF. I don't see a problem with doing what he did for the WC, but unless he can guarantee he will RP with both nations during the BoF — a task made even trickier when he's also going to be co-hosting it — he shouldn't enter both into the BoF imo.

Precisely. As written, there is nothing in the constitution that prevents this as it states its based off the user having participated before, not the nations themselves.

I believe the whole reason they are doing this IS for the RP opportunity it creates, so I don't believe that will be an issue.

I'd be intrigued to know why Yeso wants to do this. Is having two almost identicallly named nations going to lead to more scope for RPing? Is wiping Yeso from the football map a good thing?

Fair enough inquiry, Audioslavia.

Falconfar and Falconear provide a pun that is quite entertaining. And the way that I have set it up, they are ruled by two sisters, of which one thinks the other is dead.

Yesopalitha was a nation that I created for the sake of regional roleplay in Mystria. Then, I tried to gangpress Yesopalitha into becoming a sports country, but it only worked halfway.

Falconear and Falconfar are countries built around the idea of sports. Therefore, I can set them up in any way I see fit so that the Sports RP'ing flows more smoothly.

Also, there have been some things about Yesopalitha that I haven't made apparent to the Community due to the logistical nightmares it would cause.

I'm not taking Yeso out of sports altogether. Falconear is going to be a strict WC/club sports puppet. YSP will still play in Basketball and possibly Baseball.

I must say that I hadn't thought of this this far, but after talking it over with a few others, I rather like the idea...

Thanks for wondering.

I just hope that my RPing will be up to par.

My only concern is that you are doing this in a Baptism of Fire that you could potentially be hosting. You should be more concerned with making the experience of true newbies a great one, then establishing your own future RP theme and moreso when this is your first hosting at this level. I realize that you will have Aguazul scorinate these games but when you click on the BoF thread, as a host, your biggest priority, by far, should be incorporating the experience of the true newbies, not establishing your own RP theme. If it was the Cup of Harmony, I'd think a little different but the Baptism of Fire is about welcoming people to the community and as the host, that's a big responsibility.

I cannot say that this has not impacted my vote.

Cassadaigua, you bring up a good point...

Eh. The entire Falconear/Falconfar possibility is a pretty darn good one, one that I enjoy quite a bit. But maybe it's a bit too much to bite off at once? I saw the RP's that K&P and Asto did on their BoF, and they did an amazing job introducing the WC to me in an entertaining way. It is an RP opportunity that is quite rare, but I am still considering having Falconfar go through the BoF this time and having Falconear go through it next time. I really don't know...

Let's just see if I get to host the BoF first. If I do, then I'll really think about it.

After due consideration, I have decided it would be best if I didn't have Falconfar OR Falconear participate in the BoF... Provided I host it. If the Community were to accept my bid, I will pull them out and hope to focus solely on hosting the BoF. Falconfar and Falconear's BoF appearances can come later, and truly, as Cassadaigua pointed out, as a newcomer I should be making other newcomers feel welcome, not focusing on RPing.

And Arch, my apologies.
