Anyone backing me to qualify for any World Cup up to and including WC 100?

I doubt that I'll even qualify for WC 200! haha, I seem to always screw it up from the start!

World Cup 59 signups are open; sign up and get host bids for WC59 and BoF46 in!

I always find it so surprising to see WC Signups when we're still only in qualifying! haha

I know, I know, its just that every time I finish a qualifying, I expect some downtime before I have to start thinking about that WC again. Its good though, each qualifying period so far I've gotten slightly better and aiming for a qualification sometime in the next RL decade!

I know we have a long tradition of tolerating a certain level of banter in the WCDT thread, but could we perhaps cut back a wee bit, thank you. The last couple of pages have been just a little spammy. Ideally, the bulk of posts in this thread should be over substantive issues with a little bit of banter perhaps leavening the mix - not almost all banter with almost no substantive discussion.

Now then pilgrims, I'm back RPing again, although its taken me a fair bit of discipline to do so. It appears Audioslavia's habit of RPing like a mentalist for three world cups and then going away for two has carried on over with Silexhera.

Apologies to Krytie for not finishing off the RP from WC48, and also for not carrying out some of the ideas we were talking about. JJ-P and JJ are gone, for now, to be replaced with simpler characters that I can build up over time, yet that allow me to write simple RPs for the time being.

We will, one day, find out what Jeremy Jaffacake did after leaving that hotel room...

I have a feeling this day is nigh. He's had ten World Cups to plot something, after all.....

Hah, yes. I never did write anything after that, as Silexhera. I do have a bundle more ideas on what to do with Jeremy Jaffacake, however. Starting with an excuse as to why he's been part of the football landscape for a whopping two-hundred and forty years. And none of this 'oh, time travels quicker in the Dreamed Realms' codswallop.

Rami Niblick III is, I assume, no more, but JJ may have plans for his descendents...

First, though, he has the small matter of getting a team together to represent a country that hasn't officially existed for over a hundred years, and has a population near enough zero. Hence begging for semi-Audioslavian 'footballers', of whatever level, and the invasion of a small, otherwise uninhabited and useless island in Atlantian Oceania, for the purpose of being able to have a football stadium in a place that isn't the irradiated desert Audioslavia became. Oh, and there's finding a foreign newspaper or two to write for, too..

I have far too many ideas... but the theory is, as far as I see it, that I write like a ninja for a few weeks, when the RP opportunity arises, and you join in when you see an exploitable cue. Deal?
