In Nortoapoco, the top 3 sports are baseball, football and soccer.

The top level of baseball is Nortoapoco Professional Baseball (NPB). Our top football league is the Nortoapocan Football League (NFL). Our top soccer league is the Nortoapocoan Premier Soccer Association (NPSA).

The Nortoapocan Fighting Alliance (NFA) is very popular, but rumors persist that the fights are rigged. For example, just last week the Heavyweight Champion won his match by hitting his opponent with a baseball bat when the referee's back was turned.

Professional sports are less popular than college sports in our country, as most of the top college athletes go pro in something other than sports. The pay for professional sports just isn't good enough to compensate the athletes for the health risks of that profession. The big 3 sports get most of the attention at the college level and the tournaments draw huge television ratings, but other college sports also do fairly well.

High school sports draws unusually large crowds in most of the country as fans come out to support their schools. Students, staff, parents and alumni typically go to their school's sports events on a regular basis. The television networks even broadcast a national championship tournament every year for all 3 major sports that do better ratings than professional championship games.

We don't compete at an international level.

Football (soccer)- The Fransikanian Premier League


The Soccer system in Fransikania have 20 Divisions and 24 teams in every division. So 480 teams are in the Profesional system. But we also have an ameture league wich have 20 Divisions and 14 teams in every division. And 180 teams in the ameture league.

National sport leagues are usually run as separate, private organizations with a government oversight member. For example, Tedcrosse, our national sport, is regulated by the National Tedcrosse League, and golf (another popular sport) is regulated by the Teddy Golfer's Association.
