International Football Leagues

Postby The Animal Union » Sat May 30, 2009 10:35 am

If you want your national team to have a contract to the largest international football (soccer) league system out there, then this is the place!

SEASONS:
You will have a spot in an international football league from 2009-2012. There are fall and spring seasons for each year. Each season, the teams in a 8-team league face each other once, than a 4-team playoff to determine the winner of that season. The Spring season of Year 4 is cancelled, so that the World Cup qualifiers can take place, followed by the Cup itself in summer.

THE WORLD CUP:
The 256 top league members from each of the from each league for the seven past seasons (4 fall, 3 spring) come in 8 groups of 32 for the qualifier, which is a knockout phase for each. The final 2 teams from each stage get to the World Cup, where the last one standing is the world champion.

ADMINISTRATORS:
Each league must appoint 3 candidates for league administrator (host and role-player.) Upon electing one, you must send a telegram saying 2 position systems of strength and the other 2 of weakness to the administrator, so he can role-play accurately. He/she also sets the schedule and decides who makes it to the league playoffs each season, and the world cup qualifier stage. (He/she can send 2 or 3 WC nominees, but once 6 leagues have sent 3 nominees, you can only send 2. I will let you know when that happens.) He/she must also contribute scores to the database thread of which I am to set up. I will also set up a WC database so the administrators can also contribute scores to.

SIGNING UP:
The fee is only 50 million units in your currency, there is no need to send rosters, and there are only 999 slots. (I am competing.) So sign up today! DEADLINE IS AUGUST 1, 2009 AND ADMINISTRATOR ELECTION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 15, 2009. ADMINISTRATOR MUST SET UP SCHEDULE FOR ALL SEVEN SEASONS BY AUGUST 31, 2009.

I'm afraid we already have a World Cup, which has been going for around six years and is about to complete its forty-sixth tournament over on the Jolt Forums, and we have never, ever got 256 teams involved at once.

We have multiple international club competitions for our domestic leagues and these take place in sync with the World Cup schedule, these threads will migrate to this forum once World Cup 46 has completed.

I note you're already signed up for the next World Cup, so welcome to the NS sports community where I think we already have everything you're after.

The people in the Wiltshire Courts Region will decimate all that oppose them in a united effort to bring global domination through soccer/football. Thats right we finally found that damned sports center and training has begun. Prepare for your doom...goodbye

From the desk of the President of Trintobia, Governance of the Wiltshire Courts,

"I hope you like losing...cause you're about to get a plate full...of losing that is"

If you would like to try to dominate the world of football, why not sign up for Nationstates World Cup 47, that we guarantee will run, as it's done 46 of them already over the last six years.
The poster of this message is probably Ko-oren or Banija as NSWC Signups is owned and operated by the World Cup Committee, bringing you the finest quality in sign-up threads for NationStates' premier football tournament since 2005.
