We thank all the 17 delegations that have joined these games. This is a brief census... If you want to make a change, make it in a NEW post. Otherwise, I won't be able to know that you made a change. We have 1012 entries, and all the minimum quotas (4 for team events, 6 for individual events) have been surpassed. There are even events with 34 different entries!

All of you have an average of 0,50 (except Swalenia, who has an average of 0,47):

Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuk (ABK) - 3 entries
Albertasby (ALB) - 77 entries
Bergnovinaia (BER) - 116 entries
Carmadin (CRM) - 43 entries
Chenkorya (CKY) - 35 entries
Cyborg Holland (CYB) - 120 entries
Hakkland (HKK) - 85 entries
Homelands Our (HLO) - 44 entries
Huntertopia (HNT) - 38 entries
Leokeren (LEO) - 18 entries
Lymantatia (LYM) - 58 entries
Mangolana (MNG) - 46 entries
Soviet Canuckistan (SVC) - 116 entries
Swalenia (SWA) - 15 entries
Thatius (THA) - 88 entries
Vekaiyu (VEK) - 102 entries
Western Cuba (WCU) - 8 entries

As the signups close on January 10th, and the Games start on January 11th (with the Opening Ceremony, being the scorination Day 1 on Jan 12), you can start RPing right now, and making your rosters. Bear in mind the ceremonies-announcements thread, and check it out once in a while for useful information. If you dont say who's your flagbearer, I'll choose one randomly....This is all for the opening!

I'll be out until Jan10, but don't hesitate to bring your delegation!

This first day (Jan 11) had, as you can see in the schedule, no scorination... but there were trainings that you can check out in the results thread:Day 1

Apart from this, we had the opening ceremony, that is currently being uploaded to the Ceremonies/Announcement thread. :D

Welcome to the NS Winter Youth Games!

Erm, isn't there a 120 athlete limit? I think yours tallies up to about 247, counting the EUK delegation (140) and the puppets therein (107). I don't know how viable it is to include so many puppets - I may be wrong, but I believe in the past if a nation wanted to add puppets, they simply just made one team, a combined team, and had it follow the roster rules like that of one team from one nation.

The charter which he made permits the host to have 270 entries.

Yeap, the charter permits 270 for the host overall, and 140 for his/her master delegation. I distributed it into 4 puppets for IC reasons. This was made because IRL Olympics, the host nations gets more quota at each event... I had initially planned to get a higher average limit (say 0.6) but it would be even more unfair. That's why the 270 thingy was made.

Ah. I was reading this thing:
Puppet nations are allowed, up to 2 of the same user. If this is made, there will be a limit of 210 entries for the three or two nations. Bear in mind that you must specify the master nation. (No delegation can surpass the 120 entries limit).

I may be wrong, but according to this thing, it says only two puppets are allowed at max, with the 'master nation' limited to 120, and the total of one to two puppets plus the master nation cannot exceed 210.

And yeah I believe no nation should be allowed to exceed the 0.5 limit.

Look at this:

Overall, a NOC must not exceed 120 entries; except for the host, who can enter 140 entries. A same player can have as many NOC delegations as he/she wants but overall, the number of entries shall not exceed 250; except when hosting, when he/she can enter 270 entries. Nonetheless, there shall be no more than 3 nations of the same player in the same event.

That's here. When I was redacting the OP of this thread, I based myself on the signups threads of the past Olympics, and I copied that (no more than 2 puppets) part. But, through the rules of the Youth Games, you can have as many puppets as you want. I apologize for the mistake... But there are no other puppets than mine here.

But then you should only get two puppets to make it fair for the rest of us and there is no exemption to the puppet rule for you, or else then keep the sign-ups open so we can put in as many puppets as we want.

I would open the signups again if it made sense:
1. The games were already kicked off
2. No nation apart from me has at least one puppet. So, now, you want to put more than two? That would be something very weird.

I would open the signups again if it made sense:
1. The games were already kicked off
2. No nation apart from me has at least one puppet. So, now, you want to put more than two? That would be something very weird.

But for next times sake, rules are rules, I have an interesting RP coming soon.

Carmadin, all your entries are excepted except the one for Ski Jumping, as those rehearsals were already made.

Darn! I rp'ed, then my PC had to configure, and it was lost. Sorry!

Soviet, your "Interesting RP" was totally classless. You cannot go doing things like that, it's not going to get you much respect here. If you care, from this post on down is the disscussion that sparked the youth games. I don't see you contributing anything there, in fact, i believe that took place before you were founded. I'd like to request that you change your RP, however, I am sure you won't, and you are entitled to your opinion. However, I think many of the other nations who are "founding members" of the YG, which, by the way, includes myself, will agree with me here that you were quite in the wrong.

Agree with the above. SC, I know that you first wanted to host this with Eusk, but I know the reason why he didn't want to host it with you anymore and I totally agree with him. Please stop making IC attacks that are OOC attacks at the same time.

The motto is Expecting High but what the Euskies have shown us is quite low for an international event

SC, this is quite scandalous. Euski is doing a great job with hosting, and if you want to attack him, please do it OOCly not ICly. And btw, Euski is much more professional in the sports world as you are. Eusk's prestige's still small, but much bigger as jours; you are pretty much still at the n00bish level. That you host 1001 tournaments at the same time doesn't mean that you are also influencial and can afford it that you call Euski's hosting qualities low.

I am not going to Rp, because, quite frankly, If I did, it would not be pretty

SC, expect to see an Rp tommorow in response to the IC insult you have offered me. Also, expect it to be in a civil manner, unlike yours

The motto is "expecting high", and I am dissapointed that I can no longer expect high from you
