As we get further into the Vettrera Football Season there is always a perplexing thought that enters the minds of spectators; "Who will be in the 'Wild Card'
Tier"?

Although we have only had 5 rounds the current teams have been listed in the "WCT" so far in the season*:

The Press Conference Heard Around The World
After Maplier's nail-biting loss to the Valor City Kings, Maplier's starting QB, Derrick Granger had this to say in a press conference: "What the ****, this should never have happened. We worked so hard to get here, who the **** was refereeing out there." He later made a full apology to his fans and the referees. Valor City Kings QB, DeMarcus Washington had his own comment : "If it's a battle they want, it's a battle they'll get. My team worked hard for that win and I'm glad we're hitting our stride."

as you wish, I'm typing up "owner-contracts" so everyone knows how this is supposed to work. But I would suggest only owning stock in your primary team as it seems a little "shady" to own part of a team, your own team is playing against. But from a monetary standpoint everything is in order and your request is filed.

and as you already know, this is the stock market so you don't own 5% of the team, just 5% of the market share. So you will be making money based on how the stock does.

Outlook
As if this season couldn't get any worse for the Whirlwinds, after a 16-27 loss at home, they are now the only team in the VFL without a win this season. Which means that their chances of getting into tier 2 are very slim, and they'll need to step it up if they want to clinch one of the wildcard spots.

Spotlight: The Hectate Hawks

"A Wild Card All Their Own"

As the weeks go on the Hawks have had a very difficult year, their highest Power Rankings placing was 15th, and their lowest 23rd. Although they have yet to crack the top half many sports analysts say that they "Will make the Alpha Cup". Currently Hectate is 20th, statistically speaking. They'll need to improve on their game some more if they want to still have a shot at the cup. With about 2/3 of the season left it's up to them to decide their own destiny, cause it's too early to rely on other teams losing.
