The following nations did not produce a roster and RP during WBC 44 and 45, and are removed from the Council: Anthor, Maklohi Vai, North Prarie, Tenburg

Therefore, the post WBC 45 Council, before potential induction of new nations is as follows:

The following new nations posted a roster and RP during both WBC 44 and 45, and are eligible for vote at this time: Beepee, Tierra de Castro, Vangaziland.

The following new nations posted a roster and RP during WBC 45, and would be eligible for an induction vote after WBC 46 if they did the same: Bauscland, Bulgar Rouge, Derring-Do, The Greater Nordics.

Hall of Fame voting: Correct me if I am wrong, but there appears to be no one up for induction at this time.

So, we have a vote, and that is to determine whether or not these three users:

World Baseball Classic 46 news:

I have decided to take the World Cup approach to World Baseball Classic 46 signups due to the fact that no one bid to host the last Classic (my bid came about because no one else bid at the deadline). I don't want to be in that situation again.

This is a good time for the tournament to run, but World Baseball Classic 46 signups will not be opened until a valid host bid for it is posted here in the discussion thread, or a generally trusted host with the forum sends me a TG with their definite intention to bid for the tournament.

I would like to get this tournament rolling, it doesn't seem like there is a ton of excitement over it right now but we are a month into the MLB season, and that means it is time for the WBC. With my plans to run NSSCRA soon, I do not want to exclusively bid to host this, but I am willing to be the senior host for a junior partner if someone wants an experience boost. I'd like that person, if interested, to have some NS Sports RP experience, and not be a complete newbie to the forum, though. Send me a TG if interested.

I have been told that there will be one host bid (this doesn't mean others can't bid to host, too). Therefore, signups for World Baseball Classic 46 are officially open!

I have made an inquiry about rankings with our rank updater, Drawkland.

This is also the final cycle of my term as President. Nominations and a presidental vote will be held at the end of WBC 46.

Usually, your group stage home games take place in your nation. As far as I'm aware, that will be the case in this edition as well.

I don't remember the last time the WBC group stage was played in the host nation (or even if it has been in the past).

I THINK one of my two host WBCs had all the games in Lycrabon. 24, if I'm right. Usually, though, all teams play home games in one (or more) home country stadiums.
