Congratulations to West Phoenicia! Sorry I couldn’t RP more this WBC, I have had more RL time commitments than in previous WBCs. I’m glad I could RP some towards the end and make things slightly competitive. I can now add another 2nd place trophy to my cabinet and try to finally win next time. The biggest prize, of course, is the semifinal defeat of Newmanistan, something I never thought would happen. Congrats to West Phoenicia, much thanks to Newmanistan for hosting, and to everyone who participated! I’ll have to figure out where the end to the surveillance story will pop up.

Drawkland has been our ranking updater. I sent him a TG three days ago asking if he still planned to update them, but he has not logged in since I sent that TG. I was hoping to get that done before I went ahead and did the Council voting.

He’s got a lot of irl stuff going on rn, so he’s having trouble finding time to get on NS. Give him a couple more days maybe.

Drawkland will be taking care of the rankings.
I got busier yesterday then I expected. I will take care of the Council voting by Sunday. Next Classic will probably begin around the new year. Probably a signup thread around Dec 15 sound good?

Might want it slightly earlier than that to avoid clashing with the World Cup, considering current predictions (although not really accurate) would put the World Cup in January.

EDIT: Not that much earlier tho.

You can actually make a copy of the rankings on your own Google account (by selecting "File" then "Make a copy") and then make a new version. I think the "Add to My Drive" button will also make a copy in your account.

It'd also be possible for Drawkland to make the rankings editable by anybody but that'd be a bad idea because anybody who can access the rankings would be able to make changes to the rankings.

Apologies for me being AWOL this past month or so, but I've recently gotten a part-time job so my life is just that little bit busier.

I'm planning to get all my NSS responsibilities finished over the next couple days, and the WBC rankings are on that laundry list. It appears nobody has covered those yet so I'll do the job as I have the last few cycles.

I had mentioned Dec 15th last month as a potential date to start signups but that is looking a bit too early right now. Maybe right after Christmas.
