HERE are the Post-WBC 43 rankings. In their shocking runner-up performance, Free Republics managed to raise themselves from 30th to 7th ranks. Turns out winning lots of games does wonders for your rank. somebody should tell that to the base corps ...

Any important official from the Sherpa Empire was given a similar box; luxury and opulence at their disposal for the duration of the game. Let them go back to their country and proclaim how good the people of West Phoenicia were. How elegant, colourful and beautiful.

I don't have any important officials going to my team's away games. Might have some scouts from the Bengal Tigers and Nanjing Mandarins, some business executives, random celebrities, or some minor nobles/bureaucrats/clergy that just happen to also be baseball fans -- but no royalty and no official diplomatic representatives.

Ayappan Banerjee (retired shortstop who was a big star 20-some years ago), a couple management people from SIBA, and some media people are definitely there, though.

I could scorinate, but figure my reading RP's would be rushed and I don't want to do that.

Therefore, today will be an off day, and we will resume tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Halfway isn't a bad spot for an off day, anyway.
