Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your summer.

Sometimes I feel like my posts are invisible and no one reads them here.

It depends. I know that I haven't been reading many posts at all for most of Summer. I never normally do, because I'm normally busy for much of Summer with only a few weeks not doing stuff (so NS).

But I have logged in now. I'm sorry about your dog. We're here if you need us, but if you also need to take a break then that is absolutely what you should do. Do what is best for you.

Just for the record:
He didn't get put down, he died peacefully while in the car just before he went to the vet.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry. :( I cannot express how much I sympathize, having lost several pets myself. It's a horrible, horrible feeling. I wish you all the best.

While not the biggest fan of dogs, I can understand why people like them so much, and losing something that you truly care about is horrifying. You have my sympathies.

First off, I would like to offer commiserations for the loss of Herp's dog. I would like to say that I might not be able to RP much this season. I know I said that last season and ended up RPing just fine, but we'll see what happens.

It will be ok if you can't RP much.

WBC 41 still needs a host bid, so:

a) If you have hosted the WBC before, please consider putting in a bid here.

or

b) If you have never hosted the WBC before, but have hosted something else before, please consider adding this to your resume and putting in a bid.

or

c) If you have not hosted anything before, please consider your first such attempt here.

If I had a way to host (i.e. a laptop), I would offer my third WBC host bid. Alas, I don't, so I can't. Bummer for me.

Frenline Delpha had alluded to making a bid. I wouldn't be opposed to this, other than he just hosted recently.

I might bid, but I'm just unsure as of yet. I'm moving to Uni in a week, so it just depends on how much time I have. But I might try bid.

I'd consider making a host bid, if nobody objects to someone who's been pretty much inactive recently hosting. I do, of course, have two previous WBC hosting jobs under my belt. If you guys don't want me solo hosting it, I'd also be open to co-hosting.

I returned from my long hiatus and immediately hosted #38. Cass returned from hers before 39, and hosted 40.
I have no problem with you hosting, and can endorse you as being a good, reliable host.

Host bidding will close in three days. I will create an emergency bid so that we have something, though I was targeting the next one.

Equestrian States has been a reliable host in the past and can carry on the recent trend of returning people hosting this without a problem.

Host bidding is now closed.

We have one bid. As this bid was just submitted today, there will be a 24-hour period for people to ask Equestrian States questions about the bid, if anyone has any, and then voting will open.
