World Baseball Classic Discussion Thread

Thank you to all who signed up, and thank you to Zwangzug who surprised us all with a sign up! There are lots of old faces coming back, and that is good, because that is what this season is all about. Also, upon request by Frenline Delpha, I added asterisks at the end of the WBC champions on the sign up sheet, since that is kind of the theme. So far, we have accumulated a combined total of 12 championships out of 38, and I am counting on Newmanistan and Cassadaigua to sign up, so that will bring us to 19.

Whoa, back when Cassadaigua was good, CDs were still cool!!! Another cool element of this WBC is that we will have the 10th anniversary of the founding of the WBC on April 4th, which will likely be during the tournament. Maybe the hosts could come up with some bonus activity to commemorate the anniversary on the 4th.
