Hey everyone, I have an announcement you might be interested in. Because I don't have the interest to scorinate a baseball league(I'm actually a pretty big baseball fan IRL but I find RPing a league hard because of the sheer number of games in a baseball league), the Anglatian Baseball League is only loosely defined and I only lightly go over what happened in it every season during the WBC. Because of that, I'm going to put up everyone on my national team for auction and let them play abroad. If you have a baseball league and you want some more players, mine are available if you send me a TG about a deal. Even the star players.

I may use Redvale to make a Northern Isles Baseball League with players from Anglatia, Redvale, and Nordskania, but for now, I'm up to send players abroad.

Also, on another note, does everyone like the shorter locker room posts I started doing? I had plans for the other series I posted, but I don't quite have the time to write that in addition to the other things I'm working on(Copa Rushmori is coming up and RNS is in the round of 16 of the Independents Cup). I'm split between continuing these shorter posts or sacrificing Copa Rushmori prep to write more parts from Maree Rouge.

How much time do you spend writing per day?!

Believe it or not, I haven't had to write more than one thing a day since NSCF's latest season wrapped up :P

I had a big head start on Indigo Wave and managed to write 3/4 of the series ahead of time when I was traveling and didn't have much else to do until I arrived. I dropped what I was working on in both the World Bowl and IBC because I had to go away. With the way the tournaments are spaced out, I ended up writing around one part every day for the ones I'm in because there's a day's break between scorination so even when I did have to write more of Indigo Wave I didn't have to write that and my AOCAF series at the same time.

The only exception are these WBC posts which I shortened so I'd have enough time. I haven't started on Copa Rushmori stuff yet(I'm waiting on a schedule and for the AOCAF and maybe Independents Cup to end) but I still shortened the WBC posts to make sure I'll have time. I still might miss a few cutoffs here though.

I actually spend less time than you'd think, because I write very fast if I'm motivated. I like to get stuff done ahead of time though because I spend too long editing and revising. That's the reason why my stuff in tournaments is markedly better than what I post in the World Cup, where there's no room for editing.

I noticed that Kinzenland's manager's name is Chris Bryant, and I am assuming that that is a reference to the Lord God himself. Of course, his holiness spells it with a K, and would probably be out of his element in a managerial role. If Kinzenland didn't do the name on purpose, we may have some serious juju on our hands.

It was not originally intentional, but I realized it as soon as I typed it out! I do respect Kris a ton so I stuck with it, since he was not a criminal. In retrospect I should have one of the players having been guilty of leading a mass HGH scheme.

It is amazing to be able to witness this Classic, where two teams have stayed undefeated after playing 14 games each. I do very quick research, and I'm sure I'm missing some teams, but the only teams I could find in my brief research that were still undefeated after 14 or more games were:

WBC 2 Az-Cz, who went 17-0 and had an undefeated season, winning its second of three championships.

WBC 12 Newmanistan, who won 15 straight games to start the season, eventually losing a game, but went on to win that tournament.

WBC 31 Super-Llamaland, who had by far the most spectacular streak of WBC history, going 39-0, and becoming only the second undefeated team in WBC history.

I went through all of the archives through WBC 18, and then I got bored. The point being, it is very impressive that both Nova Anglicana and Super-Llamaland are still undefeated.

On another note, Schiltzberg's pitching has been absolutely dominant, pitching a combined 1.79 ERA over 126.0 innings pitched.

On another note, now that teams are qualifying, I am only going to be marking qualifiers with Q's on the third matchday of the three games scored per day. For example, if a nation actually qualified in MD 20, technically, they won't see their pretty "Q" until MD 21.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to my friends Nova Anglicana and Super-Llamaland. I guess it isn't really my fault, but I am very superstitious when it comes to baseball. I am very happy that I clinched a playoff spot, and also, if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure I now have the longest-running active streak, winning eight in a row now. I was very touched that Ethane did a poetry RP. I felt very moved and it was a good poem. :)

Posting from my phone here. Don't worry about jinxing me, I said I was going to lose because of my lack of ability to RP. Plus, I jinxed myself back when I did the "can we continue to win?" RP. We were either going to lose because I said we couldn't keep winning, or we were going to lose because I said we were going to go undefeated. Nothing lasts forever. And baseball encourages superstition, so continue to sit in that one spot on the couch while watching the game, or eat the same meal every day, or wear your socks until they drive off everyone around you, as long as you keep winning.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to my friends Nova Anglicana and Super-Llamaland. I guess it isn't really my fault, but I am very superstitious when it comes to baseball. I am very happy that I clinched a playoff spot, and also, if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure I now have the longest-running active streak, winning eight in a row now. I was very touched that Ethane did a poetry RP. I felt very moved and it was a good poem. :)

I have a long line of poems that I am waiting to publish as RPs, but not enough days for me to use them. :( That is why I did three poems on one post on that one RP.

Well, I hope so. Sometimes I can't help it, and they just write themselves. In my latest RP, I wrote about myself, Super-Llamaland, and Nova Anglicana, and I realized that our teams are very different. Llama is very offense oriented, I am very pitching oriented, and Nova is kind of in the middle, but we are still getting the same results and have similar records. I think this shows a cool element of baseball of how there are so many different ways of approaching the sport and so many strategies that can make you successful. It reminded my of how the Royals last year won the World Series despite being one of the worst teams for a lot of the hitting statistics.
