In baseball scoresheets, the home team is always listed on the bottom, since they bat second. In this situation, it doesn't matter, because home teams are not given any advantage by the scorinator.

I had a 2.0 game lead on my division, but now it is only 0.5 game lead. Seriously, I am amazed by those who are still undefeated. Nova is 10-0. This could be a really exciting WBC.

My latest RP takes on the question of us remaining undefeated. I think it's safe to say SLL's WBC 31 run is going to stand. But on the other note, I am really excited as well. I don't know if it's something about me, the fact that Newmanistan is back, or what, but I have been more motivated to RP this tournament since its beginning than I have been any other in quite a while.

My favorite part of that line score is not the amount of innings, its the back and forth nature of the last three innings, given that situation!

I know. I feel the same way. If you will recall, the WBC was really dead a couple seasons ago, I think at its lowest in WBC 35, when that one guy made it to the finals unranked and without role playing. That was weird. I have noticed that the WBC has become a lot more active in recent years, and I think that Newmanistan's return has a lot to do with that. I think that it probably also helps that we got rid of the IBS, since that was really just kind of a distraction from the WBC imo.

What happened here?

Did I get bad RNG, or did I not RP well enough?

You played the top two ranked teams in your group. Nothing to do with your own RP. Maklohi Vai also has been RP'ing.

Even if you RP, you will not always win, especially if your opponent is also RPing. Mak and Saintland are also two of the best teams, so you would have less chance of beating them anyway.

That picture though... The Great Pond should definitely be inducted into the WBC Hall of Fame on a special ballot. :P

There's 3 posts by The Great Pond. Signing up for the World Bowl, signing up for the World Baseball Classic, and the above quoted post. Fun facts.

I think it's funny how The Great Pond's sign up said "no host bid at this time," as if he had considered hosting.

Wow, and you were involved in both of them. One time, me and my friend played ping pong that went into an incredible deuce that eventually ended with me on top 23-21 (usually, first to 11 wins, but you have to win by two).

I feel so honored to be part of the history books.
