So I have passed THRILLEDGE after 2 intriguing group pairings with him in WBC 25 & 26. Top 25 is cool by me.

I'm 28th and this shows how matchups can alter one's fate when you see the ranking of my WBC 26 foe in Milchama who is ranked as #2. Run into a superpower like them and it's not pretty. Beat an opponent of the caliber and you've made it.

You can also always have Milchama in the group stage, then avoiding them for a while, and eventually finish fourth on sheer luck (losing the last five out of six games, but hey, results!)

When someone does something 25 times in a row, it's safe to assume they will do it a 26th time; unless they explicitly say they won't. Which you just said here, but it was safe to assume it'd have been something you would've done otherwise.

While the Sanctii authorities will be making reasonable exemptions to their laws, tossing apples onto the playing field or at other fans will be strictly prohibited.
