Everyone always seems to forget--I think we've completely bypassed it some cycles. Perhaps we should just move to the system the World Bowl has, where any nation who posts a roster in two straight gets in? Saves a lot of hassle for something that doesn't have that much consequence.

Hmm, well considering that I won my second title due to a non-cumulative rp bonus while I only rp'd towards the end. So out of all the WBC's my second title was probably the most controversial....

*Sighs*, so I suppose if we were looking for a Barry Bonds, Pete Rose, or Shoeless Joe that would go to me. But please for the love of God spare me from any allusions to Alex Rodriguez. (Even though he isn't in the hall and hopefully never will be)

Congrats to all those appointed to the WBC Council. Fun piece of trivia for y'all: the last 2 teams to be unanimously elected to the council (NMS and I) reached the finals the next tournament. So, Cassadaigua/Saintland WBC27?

It's not out of the question, but I'd rather think along the lines of Maklohi Vai/anyone WBC 27 final. I'm dying for something beyond quarters at least.

Mine is just marginally worse and I failed to make it in. Maybe Jim Kaat would be a better example given that he performed adequately for 25 seasons yet never got more than 29.6% of the HOF vote.

That's me too. One lifetime playoff appearance since WC23, and I got swept after getting in by a tiebreaker. And I'm still top-30.

Mine has been a bit more promising, but short lived to say the least. WC26 made the second round and got bounced out by the #1 seed Milchama, and knocked out by Vaugania in WC25 in the Round of 20. I wouldn't be shocked to see the rank below 35th at this point myself.
