Well, group 2 is having fun with RP's, I've just been sitting here, waiting for a bandwagon to jump on, but none rolled around. :(

Although you guys should be able to laugh at my next (and hopefully not the last) RP. It wont (hopefully) disappoint (although I think Qazox already knows what I'm going to do).

is it just me or is the cut-off post coming in a little bit earlier and earlier each day

not complaining, but it's kind of amusing that it keeps happening in the middle of me trying to get a post in. and by amusing i mean i hate myself

I have said between 11:00am & 12:00pm EDT. Last 2 MD's were cutoff at 11:48 and 11:26. If anything MD8 was a bit later then usual.

Six-way tie in Group 8 is not possible due to the actual MD10 matchups, but it's been an interesting group.

Holy guacamole, I just won by 20 runs. Poor Kriegiersien.I certainly wasn't expecting that, considering my "only" 41st rank.

WBC historians, what's the most runs scored in a game?

EDIT: I just realized that I've scored 42 runs in the past 3 MD's  :D

Well that's the most over the WBCs I've been in, and this is my fourth. I'd be willing to bet it's up there in the all time records.

fish swim, birds fly, and Allinlia runs into the office as the clock runs out on the cut-off waving his RP

both of my teams are now facing critical MD10 matchups

will both of my teams get into the playoffs?
will one?
will none?

guess i just have to sweat it out over the next 24hrs. congrats to my group-mates in group 3 and 9, the consistent daily RPs from so many people in these groups have kept things tense and exciting throughout the entire thing thus far

You know, it's kind of appropriate that this is happening to you, being a Pony Lands nation. EQS was infamous a few WC cycles ago for constantly missing the cutoff like, every day for a week. Meanwhile I was RPing for two nations and constantly sliding in just before the cutoff, at the time residing in Equestria. I also qualified before EQS, so I think that pretty summarily proves which pony region is better :P

Congrats to you, too; it's been a long time since I've been in a really active WBC group (I'll take 4/6 participating nations any day).

Yeah, WC63... Probably my best qualifying campaign from a RPing standpoint, too...

You're not in Equestria now, boy. I might also point out that (unlike you) I actually managed to get points in my world cup group (1-1-1), while your team finished 0-0-3. :p

Indeed. It's also nice to see that the second time I get drawn into any group in any tournament with another pony nation, it's one of the more active groups.

On another note, it looks like I'm finally going to break my streak of being absolutely horrible in even-numbered WBCs. In WBC 22, I finished 3-7 and in WBC 24, I finished 5-5 after starting something like 4-1.

I think only three of us are consistently RPing in our group. The other three have little or no RP at all. Hopefully RP will play a big part in MD 10 as we do not want a repeat of the Market Cup MD 6.

Probably should have posted this at the start of the concurring classic, but what is done is done.

For the most part, most of you have noticed that my activity in the last few classics has been next to none. Real life troubles have been plaguing me for the last year or so and my time on NS has been severely limited.

Like I said prior I should have made an announcement on this weeks ago, but I will be taking a period of absence from Nation States. I wish everyone currently participating in the ongoing classic the best of luck and for future events involving the WBC and the NS Sports community. As silly as it sounds, I have found it highly enjoying since WBC 15 to get back from a day of work, take out my laptop and to type up a rp involving the ongoing classic that was being held.

So adios NS for now. Hopefully my absence will be brief, but giving the current situation that outlook is doubtful. Cheers everyone!

Probably should have asked this during the bid but I'll ask now:

Cass, will you "break brackets" if a lower seed beats a higher seed in the first round? (or, I guess, any round for that matter but really first round)
