Newmanistan and all others concerned.

I understand where you are coming from about my umpire limit criteria. While I explained myself in a TG to Sarz personally, I think I may change it for years of WBC service. There has to be a way to reward those nations who have put time and effort into the World Baseball Classic.

For a RL example, we don't see 5 umpires from Saudi Arabia calling games in the World Baseball Classic so we wouldn't see 5 from, let's say, Colmark right now. However, maybe we should come to a clearer definition of longevity.

We would probably make a limit of 5 and base the number allowed for each nation on the number of tournaments participated in. First we would need to know who, actively, have been in the most WBC's and then create tiers from there.

Re: the final sentence in your post... Once I get the All-time records updated, you can find out how many WBC's each team has been in. (Zwangzug, Milchama and myself should be at the top of your list with 18, 19, and 19 WBC's respectively)

Now that's more like it!

Also...........

Anyone up for another running of the Keisler Cup? I know, I know, the World Cup. But signups starting now could have the Keisler Cup begin after qualifying for that.

Congrats!

BTW, on umpires, whatever happens with that list, it should be unofficial, and it remain the prerogative of RPers to decide who called their games.

Of course.

But, as you brought up in the Host Bid this WBC with Delaclava, some people want to see more RP from hosts. Whether they (the host, co-hosts or the individual nations) want to use it.

YAY! The new-look WBC all-time records page is done. The teams are broken down into 4 sets: A-F, G-M, N-S, and T-Z. The records within those 4 pages are sorted first by the initial WBC a nation played (a lot easier than c/p-ing every team in alphabetical).

So those pages done... time for trivial matters, after a thanks to Saugeais for updating the UWC page. Good job!

Top 5 teams on wins list:

#1 Newmanistan: 186
#2 Zwangzug: 183
#3 Qazox: 178
#4 Milchama: 152
#5 Cassadaigua: 136

Top 5 active nations by win % (mininum 50 wins or 75 games played)
#1 Newmanistan: .747
#2 Cassadaigua: .739
#3 Sarzonia: .732
#4 Zwangzug: .698
#5 Tocrowkia: .694

Most games played:
#1 Zwangzug: 262
#2 Qazox: 257
#3 Newmanistan: 249
#4 Milchama: 246
#5 Taeshan: 196

Milestones:
Congrats to the following teams on the milestones that were reached during WBC 19: (listed alphabetically, not by when milestone was reached)

50 WINS:
TBI, Lycrabon and QoD
100 WINS:
Sarzonia
125 WINS:
Cassadaigua, Taeshan and Tocrowkia
150 WINS:
Milchama
175 WINS:
Newmanistan, Qazox and Zwangzug

100 GAMES:
TBI and QoD
150 GAMES:
Sarzonia
250 GAMES:
Qazox and Zwangzug

Congrats to all these teams for reaching these milestones!

The following teams should reach certain mlestones at WBC 20 (if they participate):
Games played Milestones--
Delaclava (100 games played) 6 away
Milchama (250 games played) 4 away
Lycrabon (100 games played) 6 away
Newmanistan (250 games played) 1 away
Taeshan (200 games played) 4 away
Tocrowkia (200 games played) 14 away (might have to make playoffs to reach)
Tarrentum (100 games played) 1 away

Win milestones:
Cassadaigua (150 wins) 14 away (deep playoff run might be needed to reach)
Saugeais (50 wins) 11 away (a playoff run might be needed to reach)

Is it just Tarrentum then, that has an interest in the Keisler Cup? Perhaps then I'll just schedule a grudge match 7-game series between us in each division. ;)

Maybe I should mention to some of the newer people that this a U-21 & U-16 (and maybe a U-13) tournament for baseball.
