The playoffs are beginning, plenty of things we can talk about there!

Yes like: Are the Newmanistani version of the national guard being called up for the potential Sarzonia-Qazox quarterfinal series to prevent any possible fan violence? (Just kidding Sarzonia and newmanistan.. Qazox fans have become very well behaved lately)

The WBC Wikistates page will be done later tonight...the link will be in different post. The All-time stats and Unoffical WC pages will be updated as well.

Jimmer, I wish you the best of luck in the next couple of days, but think I see myself facing Qazox next round, in a rematch of last Classic's second round matchup.

Yes,I wish you luck to.I know you are much more experienced then me.I still believe I can win,but I would not be surprised if I lose. The good thing is though,I got my ace and you got your worst pitcher in the first game!

Just want to note that I have traditionally scorinated my own games in the playoffs, but I have always been open and will never take offense if any opponent we end up meeting wishes to have 3rd party scorination. I do have a 3rd party on standby to do so if an opponent wishes for this.

OK then...

The wikipage is a work in progress for now, with the group stages to be done.

The All-time records page will be updated after the completion of the WBC itself (a bit easier that way)

Only thing that is 100% updated is the Unoffical World Champions list.

Virabia, Achlaya Santis, Chenkorya and Jimmer Fredette are now members of the UWC community. And Sarzonia is still the current UWC.

Civil Citizenry,

Tarrentum is not the champion of the World Baseball Classic. I am.

I decided to have a few of my more outspoken characters give you a little "friendly reminder." :P

On another note, for a tournament of this size, I'd prefer third-party hosting at least once the tournament gets to the semifinals if Newmanistan is still in it.

Not an Official Council Opinion, just a personal opinion.

I had made a typo in the RF dimensions of the Proving Grounds. It is 357, not 257. Thanks to Civil Citizenry for pointing this out in his RP. ;)

I would have just rolled with it if this wasn't the stadium hosting the final, eventually, but it seemed important to have right in the long run!

But you could have kept it at 257ft and RPed that a 50 foot high wall had been built as the right field fence...lol

I could have. But its the Proving Grounds... if it were any other stadium I'd have left it alone, but this is my favorite stadium.

Saying things like we gave everyone misleading information about it though, is just fine, and could be worked into RP.

Question for the WBC Hall of Fame gurus:

Excluding WBC 19 in progress, it appears that I have three Hall of Fame spots to fill. (One after WBC 14 for second rounds in 12-13-14; one after WBC 16 for five appearances 12-13-14-15-16; one after WBC 18 for second rounds in 15-16-18.) Any problem with writing the RP to fill all three spots, or does that technically breach the one slot per tournament clause? And if the latter, any problem with retrofitting "older" selections?

The WBC19 page is updated to the 1st game of the preliminary rounds.

Two quick notes, 1 quick question and an WBC Council eligiblity update.

Note 1: only 4 teams went 7-7, 2 were from the same group (just a weirdness).

Note 2: A total 18 teams were within 1 game of .500 (8-6, 7-7 or 6-8) or 28.1% of the partcipants. 37 of the 64 teams were over .500 or within a game of .500 or 57.8%. Since most of those teams either made the playoffs or were in the playoff chase until the final 2 MD's, just from a historical point, that's pretty dang good. (RL equivalent= All 6 MLB divisions have the top 3 teams in each division alive until final week of season...)

Question: to New Palmouth: Are you ICly considering New Palmouth a continuation of (old) Palmouth or is it a separate nation?

WBC Council update: Besides the previous eligible nations, who have maintained their eligiblity, these nations are newly eligible for consideration for voting upon a seat on the council: Bergnovinaia, Colmark, Carasatoga, Civil Citizenry and Sakurakoku. If you believe that you should be WBC Council eligible, but aren't listed. I'll double check. (Altimarus and Cabric, are puppets and not eligible for councilship.)

The All-time stuff will be done later, as stated before.

Are there any WBC MVP's awarded for group series and/or playoffs? If not, and if it wouldn't be too much to do, might be a fun idea to add in. Although I'm guessing it's probably been brought up every WBC by someone, yeah? lol

New Palmouth is not eligible. He didn't even do the minimum for THIS Classic. Sakurakoku is eligible.

Not really.I think one or twice there's been a mention by the winning nation of an WBC MVP. But if you win your playoff series, by all means, RP a series MVP or team MVP.

I swear, I always fly under the radar whether online or in real life - Wednesday night I went to Applebee's to join a group after they had all arrived, and the waitress was at the table for like five minutes before she realized there was another person there.

RP question: Would RP stuff I do today count towards my next game vs. Sarzonia (I have no game tomorrow)?
WBC: 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26.

No... while fun, it's an impossible undertaking. You can RP you opinion of these awards, but that's about it.

Well, I donno about IMPOSSIBLE... I've got an idea that might make it fairly easy, and that being that anyone actively RPing is allowing to submit their best player (along with their stats) into a MVP voting pool, to which everyone can vote on their choice for the Group Phase MVP, while the winner of the Championship Series can pick the Championship Series MVP. Thoughts on that? Those that have been inactive throughout the Group Phase... well, they probably don't have an MVP on their team. *shrugs* lol

Yes it will!

That brings up a question for me... does my RP deal cumulate and built up, or do you have to RP the game before to have it effect the following game? (For example, if I don't RP tomorrow, is that the only RP that will effect the following game? Or will my other previous RP's still give me a larger chance of winning?)
